Pretty much opposite of you. I have fun playing her, and I think she's one of the most boring ones to go against if they're really really good. At that point you can't even really get away, much less play.
-
Picking one each, I'd have to say Resilience for survivor and Spies from the Shadows for killer. IDK if those are meta, but almost every game I use those there's some sort of use for them.
-
If they intend on actually hooking me, no. If they just plan on leaving everybody waiting around for nothing, then kinda.
-
I also noticed they had "TikToks" for one of the media choices, for the question "Which type(s) of Dead by Daylight creator/fan content do you enjoy?" Is there actually a DbD TikTok community? LOL
-
First of all, no, somebody just running in and farming their team mates will not "bip" because if they're not doing safe unhooks then they lose points. Second, you shouldn't even be focused on ranking up anyway. Focus on actually playing well and having fun. Ranks seriously do not matter at all, and I know it's weird for a newer player coming from other games with ranking to understand, but rank just represents playtime more than anything. I've seen plenty of rank 1s that play like a rank 18 should, and plenty of rank 18s that play like a rank 1 should. The only real use for raising your rank is to get the achievement for it.
Anyway, besides that, I do agree that just being in the killer's terror radius/stealth points should be increased, because to me it's laughable when I spend like 45 seconds in the killer's terror radius avoiding him and then I get like 70 points for it. Not a huge boost, but something that will actually make it feel like those points you get for stealthing actually exist. I'm glad you actually acknowledge that it's fine to be punished for messing up in the game, a lot of players are really bad about that. But seriously, don't be concerned that you get punished in your rank, because that really doesn't matter, and if you learn to play really well anyway, your rank will naturally rise (if that really concerns you that much).
-
Thanks, you get my +1 :)
-
I don't know where this survey is, but I wish I could see it for myself. IDK why they'd ask something like this. I don't know how they could possibly punish it without being absurd about it.

A game you pay for(which also has microtransactions) is supposed to work. This "game" looks like a kid with CP who got beaten with sticks and is now trying to slide to the girl at the bar, the state it's in is worse than fresh manure on the front porch. I only main doctor for the sheer point of enjoyment, for the survivor screams are sweet and sour. Left around 2 years ago, decided to keep up with the forums for I have hope, well, had, about 9 months ago when I played for about 2 weeks and now it's just been getting downhill downhill and downhill with survivors going -kachow- on the gens and killers being turned into the cow-tractors, it's just not it chief. Especially when devs are full of ######### and aren't communicatING, with their communITY.
No thanks for your time.
I have no idea what this is even supposed to mean.
-
Dude I've had a game turn from a 1K at the end to a 3K just because I caught 3 consecutive people in a row doing the same exact corner hiding mistake. Just don't do it against certain killers. If you're close enough to a killer for them to even pin you into a corner, you obviously let them get too close before trying to move away.
-
TBH I'd like it as a game mode. Similar to how Overwatch has their Arcade or whatever they called it, with special modes (some rotating).
-
Nurse
-
I agree, it's shocking. The amount of people justifying DCing...
"But what if I don't wanna go against X, Y, or Z!"
But what if your team mates don't want to deal with a disconnect in their online multiplayer game? All these defenses of DCing are always saying "I don't want this, I don't want that!" The problem with this, is that they say that after queueing up for an online multiplayer game where they're putting their "team" at a disadvantage. It's just all about selfishness and entitlement. And I hate that word, "entitlement." But that's what it is.
People can't just accept that sometimes we should consider how what we're doing affects those around us.
-
Nurse.
-
Ace.
-
While I agree with KolbyKolbyKolby in the sense that it wouldn't be a perfect system, I do like the idea of giving each survivor something unique about them, so there is a reason to play certain ones and they're not just "skins."
-
Unlucky. I haven't run into OoO in months.
-
Yeah, perhaps one individual survivor's addons aren't as impactful as the killers', but when you consider that the killer is going against 4 different survivors, and that power can potentially be multiplied by up to 4x, it makes sense why addons would be eaten up. At least to me.
I personally feel like DbD is too centered around add ons and upgrades like that anyway. I feel like addons and moris and stuff should be a treat that you bring into a game as a bonus, or at the bare minimum, something that spices up your gameplay and changes something (like Hag for example, having her bodyblocker addon). It feels like there's just constant pressure to bring the best things because if you don't, you could end up running into a fully stacked killer with a mori and stuff as survivor, or run up against a fully stacked team of survivors when you're going addon-less as killer or something. So in that regard, I like the fact that things get eaten up at the end of the game. That way people don't just keep using the same things all the time.
If items and addons and offerings didn't tend to just be straight upgrades rather than game changing things, I would be more okay with them being kept. Just the same way I wouldn't want a Huntress just bringing her infantry belts every game or anything, I wouldn't want a survivor getting to keep their green tier charge capacity addons for their purple toolboxes every game either.
-
Dude honestly if you're at rank 5 as killer I'd already say you're doing pretty good. At that point it's mostly about fine-tuning your playstyle: doing things like red stain mindgames and moonwalking, or just simply knowing the survivor mindset. With that in mind, it also helps if you play both roles, as you kind of understand what each one would want to do in a certain situation.
-
I have the same feeling, but is it seriously worth trashing the whole character from your roster just to avoid the chance of getting their daily, which might only give you like 30k bloodpoints? Even I don't really like playing Nurse or Billy, and any time I get a Nurse daily and trash it, it turns into a Billy one. Still though, I wouldn't want to just remove their perks or whatever from my account.

I have played DBD since 2018 As survivor I have to wait 10 minutes to play Vs baby killers, as killer the speed of the game is garbage.. I have 128-142 achievements.. but a lot of main killers left this game and every day I can see a post here talking about old ruin, o ds with lockers.. but Devs think that is ok...
I mean if you think things like DS are a problem then whatever, but specifically regarding what you said about rank and Ruin, those are two things I see people complain about all the time that really honestly aren't that much of a problem. Sure it's not good that lower rank players get matched with higher rank ones, but if you're talking about like a rank 9 player going up against some ranks 4-2 or something, that's not a huge deal. I see people make a lot of posts about that, and they'll still end up killing like 3 of the survivors and still complain about it. I don't understand what the problem is, if you stand a chance to beat them, just because their rank is higher.
Feel free to address any of the points I made in my previous post, such as other killers being viable (like Nurse and Hag) or Ruin changing not being as much of a problem as just gen speed in general.
-
What are those screenshots even about? The first one the killer disconnected, and the other two the killer did fine. Even the Ghostface who only brought 3 perks...
IDK man, people focus so much on ranks and just parrot what they hear other people saying. I hear everyone saying Billy Spirit Freddy are the only characters you can play if you want to win or whatever. What about Nurse? What about Hag? I've seen plenty of those killers dominate games.
I'm not saying that if you push both roles to the very limits of their potentials, bringing in the best offerings and everything, that one side would be better than the other. I couldn't tell you truthfully, because I don't know. But what I can say is that the average game of DbD isn't going to be like that. Most people aren't going to be god players, and when you run into them you just gotta be good enough to hold your own or accept that you weren't good enough to.
I'm sorry you're not having as much fun, but the only things I see here mostly are complaints about matchmaking with ranks, and Hex:Ruin. At the end of the day I really don't feel like rank matters all that much. I've literally seen players at rank 18 that play like gods and rank 1 players that play like potatoes. If you're getting stomped, at the end of the day all there really is to do is get better or move on. As for Ruin, that was a perk that players relied way too much on. I won't get into if it was necessary or not, but from what I hear, a lot of players would agree that it's a bandaid perk. I wouldn't be so mad that they changed Ruin as I would be that there's a game pacing problem. On top of that, it didn't even help much at higher ranks where people could hit skill checks anyway. I just don't see why people still complain so much about the change.
-
Whether you think they "slugged for the 4k" or whatever excuse you have to make to say they deserved it, it's sad to try to justify somebody DCing.
That's exactly why these penalties are in place and aren't going away.

This is a literal "laughing at you". You think it is just pushing repeatedly some controls? Pretty abstract. You could also say "why do people bother when someone types an F in chat? Followed by a U. And a C. And so on. Just random key presses".
This is just a restricted way of communication, but has a meaning
Put the tinfoil hat away, there's not some exclusive club of toxic people that use secret code and do certain things that mean a certain thing. Some people just do things randomly. Survivors will teabag next to each other all the time. They're not walking over and trying to send passive aggressive vibes to each other, they're just messing around. Even if some people do nod or teabag or whatever to be toxic, that doesn't mean that literally any time somebody moves their camera up and down or crouches more than once in quick succession, that they're trying to be toxic.
Don't even try to make such an outlandish comparison while throwing out the word "abstract." There's no comparison to be made between pressing your ctrl key a couple times in game and actually typing "an F in chat? Followed by a U. And a C. And so on."
As for the killer nodding thing, not all nodding is for toxicity either. I've had plenty of moments, even playing as survivor, where I meme around with the killer exclusively through camera movements, by us making our heads say yes and no about certain things. It's not because we're trying to say "frick you" or anything. Even when I play killer, I'll nod my head every once in a while when I'm just messing around. Like I'll knock somebody on the ground, shake my character's head to say "no!" and run away. Is that toxic, just because I'm moving my camera around at them? Even if I'm not even killing them?
Once again, it's astounding to me how people can even try to make statements like this. Prime example here.

I would agree with you. I don't complain about mori's either. Because like you I don't experience them often. But I'm sitting at rank 1 right now as survivor... I would throw out some ridiculous statistic that probably isn't true... But feels like it sometimes. 51% of red rank killers are running NOED. Now like I said, I'm over exaggerating I'm sure. But it's certainly higher then it's ever been before. 2 years ago if you're sitting in red ranks as a survivor. You're not seeing NOED. It's like 1 in 20 games. Red rank killers were too embarrassed to run it. Now it's more common then not common. Which is sort of a problem.
I think you misunderstood what I said. I do run into NOED and moris a lot. When I say a little under half my games I'm talking like maybe 45% of the time I feel like I'm running into NOED and/or a mori. So I think we're on the same page here. I just feel like at least with NOED I can do something about it if we're talking about both NOED and mori. But this is a NOED thread, so yeah.

TBH if this came out I would demand it have the opt in/opt out feature like Overwatch. I'd rather not have a bunch of salty morons trying to talk to me through their mics. Screw a mute button, I'd rather just have an auto mute from the get-go by opting out.

I'm just saying. You can cleanse 3 totems as a solo player and get hit with the NOED because no one else decided to cleanse totems. Get thrown up on the hook and be 1 hooked while the other three teammates just leave in their glory. It's just a ######### feeling as a survivor. Especially if you've played really good that game. And you get caught because of a perk with NOED.
That being said. I'm usually on the killers side. I just hate NOED and think that most of us do. But I also don't agree that survivors should be able to three man rush a hook at the EGC and used borrowed time, d-strike, and body blocking and leave the killer with no way to get a kill. You can argue that, "Killer should've played better." But I don't agree with that statement either.
And for the guy below you. I don't think Adrenaline and NOED are anywhere on the same level of one another. Sure they kinda have that same feel just because of how they work. But maybe getting a heal and a short speed burst. Isn't really on the level to having a permanent speed boost and the ability to 1 shot everyone. I think if it was an option for the playerbase. People would more then happily get rid of Adrenaline for NOED.
Oh I absolutely hate NOED because I kind of agree with a lot of the stereotypes people gives it: about it being used mostly for skill-less killers who fail all game and need it to save them in the end, that sort of thing. I only really have any care about it just because it's like moris, where I feel like I run into it a little under half my games.
Thing is, I can't really hate on it too hard though. It's true that survivors can cleanse 3 totems and have their team mates do none, and suffer for it. All I really have to say to that though, is that that's what happens when you play solo survivor. Get a couple friends if you want to be super sure it's gonna get done. I say this from a solo player's perspective. I don't have friends that play DbD often, and I don't want to bother making any new ones, so that's the price I have to pay. I still cleanse totems because first, it gets me a bunch of points, and second, admittedly it keeps me a little less at risk compared to my team mates because killers are usually patrolling gens and not totems.
I don't exactly have a strong stand for NOED, as I could be just as content with it being nerfed/changed as I would with it staying the same probably. The thing about that is, we as players can't choose whether it gets nerfed or changed. We can only deal with it in its current iteration. That's why, my personal view on NOED, is that players should just cleanse the totems. It sounds cliche I know, but if it just became one of those "unspoken rule" kinds of things (like how people used to sort of all just never cleanse against Plague) then NOED's threat would be significantly diminished. One of the strongest parts about NOED is similar to (but not the same as) Devour Hope: the element of surprise. It won't reveal itself until you actually instant down somebody. If people could just simply trust each other to cleanse a totem eventually if they end up passing it by, then NOED use would be heavily discouraged, and that threat wouldn't be there.

Heres the thing it dosent bother me personally but if i were to complain about facecamping alone then i would get comments saying "iTs A LeGiT STraTeGy gIt gUd" which i really dont wanna deal with
I understand what you're saying honestly. I don't wanna just throw your point out the window, but you say something that isn't even that toxic (like nodding) and the title of your thread focuses on killers.
I'm actually part of the crowd of that mentality of "it's a strategy" kind of. There's times, like during the EGC, where you simply don't want to let go of the last person you have on the hook. Times like that, I'll say that it's a strategy. That's why I can't take "toxicity" arguments very seriously. I like to respect people enough to not be toxic (like I try not to mori people off first hook and whatnot) but at the end of the day somebody will still call me toxic.
I've had survivors complain because literally I was playing the game normally except for trying to kill everyone. I was just playing Billy and had a chainsaw daily, so I chased people around and hooked them all but just didn't kill them, and let them go at the end. Then at the end of the game, one of the survivors starts complaining about "wow I hate all these farming killers what a boring game," to which their team mates replied "wow. sometimes killers just can not be anything but the bad guy" or something. I appreciated that, at least somebody recognized I wasn't trying to be boring.
I've also had people telling me I was facecamping when I wasn't anywhere around the hook either, maybe patrolling the area at the very least. You can try to be a good guy and please people but you can't please everyone.
THAT'S why I think "killers try to justify toxicity."

How is nodding while facecamping not toxic? Imo its the equivalent to teabagging at a pallet.
I would be more focused on the fact that the killer is face camping, not the fact that they're moving their camera up and down.
It doesn't bug me, the same way survivors teabagging doesn't bug me. They're just doing a silly repetitive thing with their controls. I still can't believe people get bugged over somebody crouching in a video game or looking up and down.
-
"I get theres ways to counter it but who the [BAD WORD] is actually gonna cleanse totems during high ranks"
People who don't want to risk eating a NOED.
-
You lost me at "nodding"
-
I don't see "toxicity" from both sides. I see toxicity from killers and downright incapability to do anything from my survivor team mates. I've just had a couple survivor daily rituals to complete with opening an escape gate and healing team mates, and they're taking me way more games to complete than they should. I haven't even gotten to play killer since it's been taking so long to just do these rituals.
I'm either having my team mates just go AFK in the basement, or going against an Insidious facecamping Trapper that my team mates just walk down into the basement and let themselves get hooked by, or going against a mori, whatever it may be.
I don't even enjoy playing survivor as much as killer, I just want to complete these daily rituals and it's taking like 10 games just to do 1 with how much my team mates are trolling and how hard the killers are trying to ruin peoples' days.

I don't want to call you out or anything, but ask ANYONE who mains Nurse or has played this game for a long time. You will get the answer that Nurse is the single hardest killer in the game to learn. You're going to have to forgive me if I dismiss your point simply because you feel like a god Nurse after only a few matches.
Now if you were playing against sweaty SWF seal team 6 and consistently whooped ass and only had a few hours of her under your belt that would be a different story, but I doubt that's what is happening.
It's not just me. I still to this day hear high profile streamers talking about how Nurse is still one of the best if not the best. I know people get carried away on these forums by treating streamers like the true masters of the game, but honestly wtih some people like Monto you have to admit they know the game well enough to know what they're saying.
But fair enough. If you refuse to believe that anybody could get used to Nurse and not get stomped with her, and your one test to disprove that is "playing against sweaty SWF seal team 6 and consistently whooped ass and only a few hours under your belt" then yeah, nobody is going to be able to change your mind. Mostly because that just doesn't happen: people don't just constantly go against pure SWF.
But I'm sorry I can't convince you it's not a huge feat to hold down and release a button to teleport.

Well if you mean a specific TOXIC killer I can understand that, I should have clarified my point.
I mean specifically looking at SWF groups.
I understand too that you want to look out for SWF. I'm not even against that viewpoint. It's just like I said in my first comment on this post, I just think there needs to be consistency.
If people want to say "no, no dodging things you don't like, just play the game you're given," I think that should go for both killers and survivors. Survivors can't see the killer (just like current patch) and killer can't see survivor.
But, for anybody who thinks there's a reason for killers to be able to see the names and dodge, I feel like the same logic would probably apply to survivors. I don't think people would always just dodge against somebody they know is good. I think if people were more into that, killers would be dodging A LOT nowadays, but I don't see it.
But yes, I think for the sake of toxic players, survivors should be able to see the killer's name. Not even the killer, since you wouldn't wanna get countered before the game even starts (like everybody running Calm Spirit if they see a Doc.) From my personal experience, and I can guarantee I'm not alone in this, I've run into the same player multiple games over a period of time (not just one player either) and been able to guess that it was probably one of them just by how they were playing. I'd love it if I can just remember who these people are that like to make other peoples' games as boring as possible and have the opportunity to not even get into a game with them. Sorry, I don't want to voluntarily jump in a game with somebody I'm 100% sure is either going to facecamp me or slug me until I bleed out.
And as a side note, no I don't do things to "ask for it." I don't play toxic or try to get on peoples' bad sides. I feel that's necessary to put in here, because I can't tell you how many times I've seen somebody tell somebody they must have just been doing something to deserve it, because they played survivor.

Yeah, nobody's buying your "holier than thou" attitude. I never said I "think I land" anywhere. Simply put, your opinion is just as meaningless. But if you're not going to at least contribute anything to the discussion the least you could do is stay out of it.
Participate like you're in a forum and discuss things, or continue to just go around insulting people with nothing of value to say. If you like being seen as somebody who was failed by their folks, please do continue trying to tell others "I want you to maybe rub the two brain cell you have together to find out" whilst you continue to look like a complete ape. You really aren't convincing anybody that "assuming your folks didn't teach you anything is a mistake," when you can't behave any better than a dog.

If I play killer since I can't stand it anymore, I check names when I suspect a SWF group. As long as the profile is public I can see who their friends are and plan accordingly.
You being able to see the killers name accomplishes nothing. But being able to determine a SWF group in a roundabout way can be helpful.
And I find Mori's unrewarding even for killers, if I want to kill someone I'll use Devour Hope for some serious laughs.
"You being able to see the killers name accomplishes nothing." Simply false. If survivors wanted to watch for certain players, then they could. Just the same way you claim killers can "plan accordingly." What's the difference if a survivor wants to do it? Just because killers watch out for SWF means that survivors can't be allowed to watch out for things they don't like? Like...

@Huff I both agree & disagree with your take on Nurse. Yes, Nurse was a bit OP prior to her rework/changes. Her addons were either too OP or never used. A good Nurse basically never lost unless a survivor team was really good. Changing her did "take of the training wheels" for those who wanted to play Nurse.
But where I disagree is how they went about reworking her. Her addons are split into 2 groups now: essential & situational/useless. So they failed at addressing her addons seeming only useless or OP issue. The recharge mechanic on top of a stun currently is just so annoying. Not to mention her movement speed is slower than survivor running speed. The devs intention with this was to give more time to survivors to break LoS, but now its just used to gain more distance from her. Ending a chase as Nurse is overly tedious against a good survivor. I almost never have an issue against Nurse as survivor, & it's because I know how to use her power against her. It is not hard for survivors to learn this now, while before the rework it actually took skill in order to counter Nurse. But this isn't me saying Nurse needs to be reverted back to her old self, but rather something else has to be done because the devs failed at addressing the issues the community had with Nurse. The skill/reward ratio that is supposed to come from Nurse now feels off because of how tedious she is to play.
I don't disagree with anything you said I don't think, at least anything worth mentioning. The whole point of that I'm trying to bash this guy upside the head with is that I just highly disagree personally that Nurse is this "pinnacle of skill" kind of character people make her out to be. You hold down a button to teleport a certain range, depending on charge, and you ignore practically all obstacles any other killer has to pay attention to. I can respect people who say that after her nerf, she might be annoying to play. Thing is, all I have to say is: then play another character. If you don't want to accept the annoying parts to take advantage of what's potentially the strongest killer in the game, then step aside for the people who will man up enough to take on that downside. I want to reiterate: I'm obviously against her being buggy. If you're annoyed over that, that's perfectly legit.
I can't comment on the add ons and stuff much because I dabbled in Nurse before, and told myself she was simply too easy mode to find fun for me. What I can say as somebody who played her then, is that it's laughable to me that somebody can tell me my own experience is a "fantasy argument" and that it's "common knowledge" that a Nurse took many hours before her nerf to "learn and not get stomped."
Side note: if you're somebody who's got experience with Nurse (as it seems like you do, with the way you talk about her add ons and stuff) do you think I should give her another shot, considering I found her too easy before? I'm not necessarily asking for the sake of winning, but just for the sake of getting into the character.

Lmao what you're describing isn't even a real problem. She is the hardest killer to learn, that was well established before her rework. She already took many many hours to learn and not get curb stomped, that is COMMON KNOWLEDGE. You are describing a fantasy argument.
Well I guess I must just have a gigantic brain then because "many hours" wouldn't describe what it took for me to whoop the survivors on Nurse.

@coppersly said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1221023#Comment_1221023
That's the problem, the rework didn't make her take more skill to play, it only takes more patience. There is nothing new you can do, it is literally a limitation in every single conceivable way with no other positive in sight. So if nothing changed except less blinks per game, the skill involved didn't really change either. You just need ######### tons more patience than before.
What I said before is that she felt easy mode to me and that's why I didn't want to play her. More patience required or not, I'd still rather have her in this state (without the bugs obviously) where it actually takes people that are dedicated to learning her to do well with her. Not like before where any schmuck could pick her up, play her for a handful of games, and dominate just because of how powerful her ability is.

Or just get yourself mori'd off first hook by a killer who thinks you have it lol

But doesn't it mean something if her usage has gone down even less?
Does it mean something? Yes. Is that something bad? I wouldn't say so, not automatically. It could be for many reasons, individually or combined.
I imagine that the bugs are probably something that deters people, and I definitely agree that straight up bugs need to be squashed. But personally, I don't automatically think because she is played less that that indicates something bad. I think a major factor in the fact that she's played even less now is that, as I said, she was like a bike with training wheels before. Now the training wheels are off, so probably the people who really enjoy the character for the character itself, and not the easy wins she brings, are going to stay dedicated to her. The ones that just used her because she was god tier, suddenly feel the pressure of the training wheels being taken off.

I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings here. But I think that it's a pretty well known thing that survivors care way too much. It's kinda crazy. Of course there's bad examples on both sides. But survivors will get mori'd and wait 10 minutes for the game to end to talk crap to the killer instead of moving on, they used to DC to prevent BBQ and Chili stacks, they will camp your profile for 48 hours if you kill them. If you've ever turned on some of those low viewer twitch streams... They cry and whine and get super angry when they die.
I'm not trying to make this a point of toxicity. But I feel like when you're playing a killer.... If you see a survivor that beat you before and you notice. Then this time you're challenged and you're going to try really hard to kill that guy. It's like an extra challenge. That guy got you the last time, now you're going to get them this time. A healthy feud. Survivors tend to want to win. There has to be a reason that they made it so you can't look at recently played with to figure out who the killer is. Just saying.
It'd be less of a big deal right now. Since killer queue's are instant. But back in the day when killer queue's were like 5 mins and survivors were instant, it wasn't that fun.
I prefer to keep bias out of my posts, because I see it more as "people" doing it. Not "killers" or "survivors." You never even know what the person you're playing against prefers to play more. I like playing killer more, but sometimes I like to play survivor for a change/because the games can go more quickly. But just because I play as survivor, now these mentalities apply to me? I think you get my point here.
Anyway, I don't want you to take it as I'm bashing or trying to call you wrong. Our experiences are just different from each other. I just personally run into about as many (I don't keep track) killers acting like jerks as I do survivors acting like jerks. I might run into more jerk survivors at once but that's usually because I play killer, and there's just more of them to go against than there is killer against survivor. In terms of frequency, I constantly run into killers that act like jerks (like with the mori being common for me). It's just how people are, so I have no reason to believe survivors will act like that when I feel that killers can match their childishness, and I don't see them dodging often.
-
I just want some consistency. Either the killer's name should be revealed to the survivors as well (not the killer itself) or, like you said, survivors' names should be hidden to the killer like the killer's name is to the survivors.
I was just debating some guy in a different thread about his claim that this kind of thing (survivors getting to see killer's name and dodge if they want) is really unhealthy, talking about how he ran into a Twitch streamer who said "Oh it's that good Trapper from the other game" and then he and his friends all left. His claim was that "people just avoid people who play well."
The reason I bring this all up is because it leads into another point: I understand why somebody might be worried about something like that, because I can see the logic, but the dude himself admitted he hasn't seen a killer dodge anybody in like two weeks, and I would think if it was true that people playing killer would be dodging lobbies left and right.
Overall I think you summed up what I was thinking pretty well with the line "The survivor can't even check who they're playing against so why is it fair the killer can see them?"

What do you mean would? Killers already see the names of people in their lobby. Don't they? Maybe not? I'm pretty sure they do. And I haven't seen a single killer dodge a lobby in two weeks.
And if you have this problem where you get mori'd often. You've probably earned them. Since it's a LOT more common to play a game without a mori active then it is to find a game where a Mori is active.
I simply disagree with the mori part. I feel like at least as of recent, maybe a little under half my games have a mori in them. I wouldn't call that "a LOT more common" to play against somebody without a mori. But I'm not going to argue with that because you're talking from your experience and I'm talking from mine there.
As for the part that includes "I haven't seen a single killer dodge a lobby in two weeks" -- that's my point. Killers can already see the names of their opponents, and you acknowledge they could dodge but don't. So why wouldn't it be any different for survivors?
Also, don't just assume I "earned" the moris. I'm not the kind of player I imagine people would find plays "toxic." I don't even run "sweaty" meta perks or anything a lot. Moris are simply common for me to run into nowadays.

Explain to me what is fun about having 2 stuns and on top of it you are useless for 6 seconds while you wait for your power just so you can move effectively?
She was fun before because she required skill. She requires way more patience now, and skill didn't really increase because there's just so much out of your control now.
Because if you're good you get to be the best killer in the game..? Again, if that's not fun to you just because of the stuns, try another killer.
This is just my opinion but I don't think she took as much skill before as people think. I played her before her rework (not as a main, just played her) and I still felt like she was too easy. I was confused why people were saying she was the hardest killer in the game. She felt so easy mode that I actually resolved to just not play her any further. Made the game boring.
Now I actually consider trying her again, (even though I still haven't yet) because she isn't easy mode anymore.

You actually don't get an increase in bloodweb item rarity. That's something that existed during the first system of prestige (the one that took even longer and what you got legacy clothing as of now if you did back then). I made a video about it a while back, however that video is currently outdated since they changed the system again since them.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzaSlRNuDds
During that phase, you always got 3 purples and 6 greens in every bloodweb, but at some point, it changed to where those were more random in amounts. I haven't made a video about the new system yet, but I have made a spreadsheet about some bloodwebs I went through with the newer system.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qoxr7OyG8GxA3GLMfK7BCdijS84TTlmwCRL9xZdoRD8/edit#gid=0
Thanks for the updated info then mate. I don't like spreading misinformation, I was just recalling what it said when you prestiged. Well if there's not more rare items then I can see why people might think it's a waste.

I agree with the guy who said he's only played Nurse post-nerf.
Obviously if people get to play a character with training wheels and then get them taken off, many people are going to see it as a lot less fun. And I also agree with the point of "people are always saying we shouldn't balance around the low skill players, so why should it be different with Nurse?"
Seriously, she's still the best killer in the game in good hands and she's one of the few killers that you can't really loop. If that isn't fun to you, maybe just try another killer?

Take it with a grain of salt, because I haven't purchased Deathslinger yet, but I imagine it would still feel quite different despite them both having a range thing to use. Huntress can put quite a hefty arc on her hatchets, while Deathslinger can use his thin hitbox from his harpoon in places Huntress can't.
So I wouldn't connect them like that, no.
