  • I only have 1 reason now and thats update sizes being weirdly big

  • I just checked the difference in the update between GhostFace and Hellraiser

    Ghostface's update changed the following

    -Swing Animations

-Added a vfx for stuns (This was removed later)

-Survivors turn their heads when interacting with things (This was either removed or just bugged and never fixed for some reason)

-Added new requirements for fast vaulting, preventing fast vaults when hugging walls

    -Adjusted Killer Instinct

    -Reworked some character's hair

    -made darker cosmetics brighter

-adjusted chase music volume (this was also removed later)

-Yamaoka estate got a tile change

-More obstacles spawn between objects on MacMillan estate

    -Removed Lerys vault rng

-Changed the lightbringer, Benevolent, and evader emblem

-Mettle of man was nerfed, Windows was buffed, streetwise was buffed, unbreakable nerfed

-Pop goes the weasel was changed (this was changed again in the future)

-territorial imperative was buffed, and enduring was revamped to only affect pallet stuns

    -Several bugs were fixed

    Hellraiser update however

    -Added sbmm

    -added new rank system

-Buffed nemesis's tier 3 form to move faster when holding it

-Buffed a few of nemesis's add-ons by increasing the length

    -added rank rewards

    -changed nemesis's daily ritual

    -several bug fixes

    -new pallet design

  • For some reason from what I have noticed is that balancing has been way slower now, as in back then we would get several changes, now we are getting effortless changes to killers that don't even show any real change besides making them less fun to face

  • Game share doesn't work on steam anymore? hmmm I don't know

All hair physics or just Jeffs?

Probably just jeff as bhvr only remembers him in recolours

  • I don't think it'll be coming back

    get it? because..he...came

  • He can't come no more, now he comes...arrives to the survivors without warning

  • Man I'm starting to think the fov on billy's chainsaw is intentional

  • I just want the overheat update reverted

All he needed was an add-on pass, not this

I will Not removing SWF. I think it need a Punishment. Like -5/-10% on movement and Aktion Like repair Speed.

Both are horrible ideas and punishing people for playing with friends is a good way to kill a game

Killers used to take bs hits and downs on pallets all these years.

That's why they all are baseball players.

    Get used the new reality.

    This is a horrible idea

as this is literally just "Instead of fixing the problem, lets just shove the problem to someone else instead", the pallet hit reg also doesn't even work properly as I now just get hits where I 100% know it hits however I just get a middle finger instead

  • After his face rework, they removed almost all the blood on his face, I miss 2018 bill so much

Why do you even play this game

Haddonfield somehow has breakable walls now

    They are inbetween cars

  • Because as long as trapper and legion exist in their current state, then I don't think spirit is really even noticed by bhvr (Though they did nerf her as her best perk got gutted)

  • Hi sluzzy how are you today

Not everyone will have those perks (except small game).

small game is still a good perk for detecting totems tbf, I just posted all 3 due to the fact that they all do 1 purpose, find totems easier

Small game alerts you of it being in view and even has a totem counter

I've had games where we did great, but died because I couldn't find that last totem. It's not so easy in solo and on indoor maps. I do agree the killer shouldn't have got a 4K, though.

Which is why I shall gift the entirety of forums with 3 perks

    image.png image.png image.png

Trust me, these are a lifesaver, I love using Detective's hunch and Counterforce as it helps me throw away Undying and Ruin constantly

  • Billy

    No joke he looks huggable

  • To get a 4k with noed in the endgame, I am 100% sure your team made a mistake at the end as for that to happen the following must have failed

    -Breaking 5 totems

-Noting that the killer has NOED and splitting up

    -being too altruistic

If you destroyed the killer like you said, then that means you guys 100% had time to go totem busting

  • He is both OP and UW somehow, which is funny to think about because it depends on the loop you are at

is it a short wall loop, then you are going down no matter what (unless the trickster forgot that he has recoil for throwing knives)

if it is a long wall loop, then he isn't doing anything whatsoever and is only gonna be annoying

Oh yeah - my wife and I helped each other with that one before EGC was a thing, can't imagine doing it now with hatch closing forcing EGC and no more gens allowed.

The closest I have gotten was by getting to a gate and starting it after last gen got finished, but then the killer found me opening the gate and to say I was upset isn't enough to describe it

Nope: The first version of SBMM only used kills and escapes to calculate your rating, but it did not work out so it was quickly scrapped. The current system takes a number of different factors into account when deciding when your rating should go up or down (and by extension, by how much).

Basically, the way it's calculated is complex, and the goal is to have you "win" in about half your matches.

Could we know what all the factors are because nobody really knows what a win is

  • Spirit cannot hear footsteps while phasing

Glenvale was disabled as it had an infinite

and Game probably crashed too much

Pretty happy to not get these 2 maps or spirit though

  • Main issue on why slowdown perks are used so often is because about 80% of the killers we have basically need them to survive against good survivors

However to the ones that are not apart of the 80% tend to use them as it makes the game more calm and not feel like slugging is required or are sweaty as all hell

However to this day I still will encourage people to use other perks than the exact same 4 perks on both sides as it just gets boring for both sides at that point then you wonder “why is dbd so boring”

But people also need to understand that not every single killer uses the same build, most of my builds consists of ShadowBorne and enduring because this game needs an FoV setting and I eat pallets for breakfast, some of my friends tend to use devour hope, etc etc.

For it to be possible to have both sides not need anti-slowdown or slowdown is so simple but from what I noticed it would take way too damn long to fix it now as a good portion of dbd’s killers are anti-chase now, all we need is killers like Blight who have both anti-chase and map mobility then we can nerf the slowdown perks, allowing more killer diversity and more perk diversity

  • Real question is, why do we have breakable walls anyways?

  • iirc we are supposed to be getting a reward system eventually but then again, bhvr also said that they will be reworking daily rituals, and doing console optimization, and much more

  • If its RE accurate, make sure its all perks that are beginner perks due to this being his first day on the job

  • Sluzzy has returned from the void to spoil us again lets gOOOOOO

  • That combo isn't that good because prethrowing pallets is better than stunning

  • Thats hard to run around?

I think its pretty balanced tbf its easy to work around as survivor and easy to work with as killer

  • Its intentional and probably the most botched thing bhvr added as a mechanic, because it does stuff that should never happen and I have had times where I hit before the pallet stunned, as in clearly dead on, and it was rejected

Jakes are really, really weird. Jake players are just an odd breed of memers and idiots. (And I can confirm, as I am a Jake main.)

You can't trust Megs. You just can't. They're either newbies who walk everywhere, or they're teammates who know exactly what they're doing and will leave you for dead. The Megs who don't do this are a rare breed.

Ghostfaces are, as you said a bunch of memers who also have a tendency to go from 0 to 100 in an instant.

Myers are also memers, however they can also be tamed to a degree. Some are quite feral still, but many will indulge in memes with you. (I've killed myself to *so many* Myers who tried to let me leave just because we nodded at each other, and then when a teammate would try to join in he would kill them. Good times, makes my buds really mad at me lol.)

People who run your typical 'Toxic Nea' get-up are usually just bad and want to practice chase, or they're bad and think they're good because they ran a baby Trapper the game before with DS+UB on Ormond.

Dwights are really confused. I've seen a lot of Dwights just be kinda lost during the game.

Pumpkin Head Nurses are sad and cursed beings who need a hug.

Feng players will DC if you even sneeze in a way they don't like. (Can confirm, as I know a Feng player who will do just this.) They also care about nobody's life but their own.

Frosty-eyed Killers are usually new and quite bad, and will probably camp or tunnel.

Plain, School Girl and Frosty-Eyed Spirits tend to be babies who get really tilted in post-game chat and claim gen-rush, when they consistently failed at using their power.

Twins players tend to stack every gen regression perk known to man. Three-four gen regression perks. Aura reading? Haven't heard of her. Exposed who? Not gen regression, not interested.

Demos are sweethearts. They just are.

Plain Bills will always UB as soon as possible in the game. 5 gens left and Killer is about to pick them up? Just stand up in their face. P3 Bills have committed war crimes and they're ready to commit more.

Bubbas are wild cards who are all normally really funky and absolute weirdos. I love them.

Jills will do everything they can for Blast Mine value.

Nemesis players tend to be really grumpy. I don't think I've met a single one that hasn't either facecamped/tunneled as soon as they hook someone, BM'd at hook, or got grumpy in post-game chat, no matter the outcome of the match. (Had one last night try to make me wait out the slowed EGC as a slug... when I was trying to give him a kill because he didn't get one all game and my teammates had already left. That was a ride.)

Claudettes will do everything in their power to never pull aggro. Claudettes that will take hits and pull chase are a rare breed.

Wraiths will do everything possible to be rude. I've had more Wraiths BM at hook and make it their goal to camp or tunnel some poor soul out while also being rude in end game chat then any other killer. I don't know who hurt Wraith players, but I don't trust them because they all tend to be really stinky.

This problem I have with this argument is that this is pretty much the exact opposite from what I usually hear. The i-frames are effectively useless and are only used to make sure that I killer can't hit you just by lunging mid-Dead Hard due to latency-- and even then, it's not good at that. I've seen a bunch of instances in which people get hit mid-Dead Hard, especially against The Twins.

I don't see why the perk can be multi-use, because it's not great at gaining distance nor dodging a hit.

While it's possible for killers to hit you mid Sprint Burst or Lithe, it's not common when used smartly.

I've always interpreted Dead Hard as just jumping over the trap, but yes, I agree that it's a pretty stupid thing Trapper has to deal with.

The twins thing has been confirmed as a bug (Victor was ignoring I-Frames, allowing him to just smite you through it), however the distance dead hard makes isn't the 4 meters the perk does, its the meters after the perk is connected to a vault

While I do agree about it not being common that you get hit during a lithe or sprint burst, dead hard's issue comes mainly through not just the servers but from bad coding, dead hard (from what I believe) doesn't apply i-frames immediately sometimes, shown on why you can go down and not move at all sometimes
