I have been seeing so many pictures like this now, and have no clue if its a bug or someone cheating

It doesn't matter what my build is. The focus is that the copy and paste build you see above is used almost every match because of the ridiculous over powered benefits it provides you with compared to any other perk build.
It does infact matter because killers also have a copy and paste build, not just the survivor side, both sides have a ridiculous build and you throwing out a survivor build and your own build shows how we don’t know how that game went and if you were going with the killer copy and paste build or not

It's interesting how that has nothing to do with my topic
No but its nice to be able to see everyones build here, we are missing 1 survivor and your build
Allows us to see the whole match instead of what you chose to include

Horrible, balance wise is still terrible and perks that are horrible are still not remembered, several killers are boring to play or just flat out terrible, or straight up broken. Game Health has been at its worst (Dead Dawg has been disabled twice) and we haven't gotten a severely buggy update since over a year ago almost
I am honestly amazed at why I still play this game
-
This is an assumption, but it might be because the pallet is breakable with killers with the ability to bust pallets with their powers, but imo thats still not a good reason as after the rework you cannot lunge around that pallet anymore
-
Billy's camera goes up and down due to his model, intentional yes, annoying as hell? also yes
-
Billy is that killer that gets punished for having fun (Which is why I hate how dbd's balance has gone so much to where I am barely playing the game anymore, because they showed alot more care about the game 2-3 years ago compared to now where updates barely get anything changed and we constantly get perks nobody will use)
Billy was the perfect killer basekit wise when it came down to balance, all he needed was an add-on pass and that was it, but instead we get a killer where almost every add-on is god awful, he is punished for doing fun techs, and somehow his animations became jank. He once was a high played killer because he was the perfect combo of strong and fun, but now he is kinda strong and unfun, I miss old billy

In what regard?
You can't exactly say that "One does the other thing but better" and expect it to be a valid argument.
Premonition you are on a cooldown, but it gives you a general guess of the exact spot the killer is looking and thats about it
spinechill lets you know the killer is looking at you while giving you a boost to certain actions, this can help ALOT during last second totem breaks and last second gate opens and much more, basically SpineChill gives you more than premonition
-
Spinechill does what premonition does but better

This is bullshit, he was strong since launch. I know I was, and many other blights were dominating with him early on, even before his height was adjusted and his hit boxes were even more jank.
Console blight player on launch, his power was piss easy to dodge and as I don’t think I said he was terrible, I only said he had several issues on launch that were later flattened out, no reason for the aggression
-
On launch he had several issues, but they were all flattened out later on
-
I was about to go to bed because I am not in a good mood then I saw this post
they are not even out yet so we don’t know how the balance for boons will be

Hey if you want to stick with dbd go right ahead. But to answer your question 1. Vhs unlike the others will be free upfront so no harm in trying it out 2. The devs seem to know what they are doing. They have a stream of them playing and talking about their game. 3. Nothing is certain. This could flop who knows, but I'm just glad they are trying out something new. Dbd is rn the only asymmetrical "horror" game and that is part of the reason the devs can treat the their own community/game as they do. I really wanted a replacement for dbd since I've quit. I bring this up because so many people say dbd needs competition. Even dbd content creators. So it can only be positive if this game is good.
I rarely enjoy dbd anymore, doesn't mean I am gonna leave it for a game that one, just because a dev team knows what they are doing doesn't mean they are gonna be able to do it the same way in the future. BHVR's dev team used to be really good, now it feels like they stopped caring and change stuff that don't need to be even changed, but atm it looks like f13 with less to do

Just spreading the news of a new game that has potential... Ok?..
This has been said before alot, what makes VHS exactly special enough to be on dbd's level?
-
The new and unasked for change to pallet stuns kicked power struggle to be even lower in tier lists
-
Was an hour long hatch stand-off on Game, would have been longer but I ended up disconnecting due to an error

Self Care takes 32 seconds to heal. It cuts your healing speed in half.
That just makes it worse as it usually takes less than 6 seconds to find a locker

Inner Strength:
- Requires that you have a dull totem available or already cleansed (14 seconds)
- Requires that you then enter and sit uninterrupted in a locker for eight seconds
That's already 22 seconds, not to mention the time traversing. Some maps have very few locker placements as well. It's not a bad perk, but if it's going to compete with Self-Care could at least have its healing time lowered to 5/4/3 seconds in a locker.
Selfcare takes a total of 24 seconds to fully heal unless my math is bad (50% of 16 is 8, 8+16=24) and is affected by sloppy butcher + all healing perks, this is also loud and can be seen with auras, you also need a place to selfcare in safety
Inner strength is a 22 second full heal + time it takes to get to a locker, however during the heal you cannot be seen via auras, healing perks do not affect Inner Strength, and usually good usage of Inner Strength will involve cleansing a totem straight off the bat to allow an 8 second heal later, while only being capped at 5 (But do you need to heal 5 times in one game?)

Remember when people thought Legion's power was to be amogus.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/63113XBFW7FJ/image.png
Then it turned out to be an excuse to put killer cosmetics :^)
Why is it slightly taller than usual
-
Okay so while I wanted challenges that are way more inventive than the same thing over and over again, if you do this with only Beast of Prey's undetectable you would actually have to farm or you get lucky
-
I have to have Shadowborn on every killer, the default fov makes me feel so slow when I need to feel fast in games
-
How easy is it to get said power or how strong said power is
Legion can get their power often as its a cooldown
While plague needs a fountain, her power is insanely strong and can be hard to dodge without trading a hit to avoid it
Oni is high power, but has no early game
So if Legion was stronger but took longer to get their power, most likely they'll stay in frenzy upon getting stunned, but sometimes its like that because it doesn't really matter, like how currently if you kick a gen in frenzy most of the frenzy will be gone when it ends
-
Its weird, gets worse if you have shadowborn
but its because some of the light is hitting you in the face
-
@glitchboi said:
Legion deserves a buff in Frenzy movement speed tbh. Base-kit, but give them add-ons that increase Frenzy speed as well. Maybe the add-ons could be similar to Blight's: increase the m/s by whatever depending on the amount of survivors hit.
Well, Legion deserves more buffs than just that to be honest, including better add-ons.
Oh 100%, still wonder why they slaughtered their add-ons like that
-
They are besties
-
I am convinced that hotfixes create more bugs than they fix
-
Somehow they'll find a reason to nerf pig
-
@WeenieDog said:
They could add something like 'm2 sensitivity ' so it would be easier to aim/track, instead of the being like
Lower sense: track better but move with tank controls around regular tiles
Though the fact that its cross play mean we cant do anything for console without thinking about how it affects pc when it comes to balance decisions like the popular " make trickster faster".
I was just making a thread about this because this exact thread reminded me of it, still gonna make it to go much more in detail as its pretty important and the setting in this game is outdated and the settings looks like this game was made in 2010
-
If its consistent, get footage for us so we are able to see what this bug looks like

you reed me getting salty over saying trickster is literally the 2nd best chaser in the entire stupid game.
But didn't you say that he was the best chaser in the game, why is he second best now?
Also he is incredibly low, not even close to b tier. Huntress can injure survivors faster than him, all he really does is "ooo animation lock" just like...idk...every other killer in dbd, and you basically need to be in hair sniffing range to hit his knives accurately, which at that point just m1 instead, the only times his knives have a purpose is if you are locked in an animation or you are in a zonable spot, unlike huntress who can use her hatchets at any distance, running out of hatchets doesn't punish her as hard as it does trickster, also incredibly good at zoning, and can do something with long walls because well...you don't need to throw 6 hatchets at a survivor do injure them, only need 1
He is probably the worst ranged killer in the game atm

incredible assumption btw, never said that, she is literally fine she is the 2nd best killer behind trickster because of his uncounterable play-style.
Good nurses predict good survivors and good survivors try to predict the nurse, it's a battle between who will win a mindgame or who will get outplayed really hardly, I don't think she needs buff or nerf, but trickster does need nerf.
"2nd best killer behind trickster"
Did I read that right?
Trickster is god awful to play as he is only good on a few maps, and even then he isn't that great and you'll get way more progress at loops as huntress than him, he is entirely counterable he is just incredibly unfun to face, major difference
-
@landromat said:
Trickster is going to be bad no matter what changes they do because he can't deal with long wall loops. They can make him devastating in the open But one game of being looped for 5 gens in cowshed and you'll never play him again
This feels way too specific, what was the last map you played as trickster
-
This isn’t a bug?

clearly they intend moris to be weaker.
yeah they're getting nerfed.
“Making them weaker isn’t the only goal”
then whats the other goal?

@botrax said:

Yes but every survivor are played the same they are only skin if you have all perk unlock. Killer its not like that the possibility of them using different perk is higher if we compare the two.
But isn’t it still a lack of diversity?
-
We don’t know how the new mori’s will work in exact detail, so saying that they are being nerfed because they mentioned mori’s getting counterplay but they were very unclear on everything else doesn’t really mean its getting nerfed
-
isn’t the survivor builds usually the exact same every game?

I see this so much...Like am I the only Blight that loves compound 21 with slam duration? I do run lethal/ruin though 😐️ with pop/disco....I will change it when I get home lol.
Oh no without undying its not tedious, I don’t mind any build being used I just despise tapping a gen and going “wow I already know this blight’s whole build”

But with that in mind, I'm hearing talks that this is going to be a nerf to mori's as opposed to a lateral change.
Its not a nerf its a rework
Are people really saying that its a nerf? because I think they only said that its being reworked

if it's becoming that frustrating for you then at the moment all i can recommend is using the early game/a totem hunting perk to focus on getting 50% of a blight's perk build out of the way asap - without the core combo of ruin/undying then the build just kinda crumbles.
tinkerer all i can say is try to memorise where 70% is on a gen bar and then attempt to hide or something as soon as you hit it , or if ruin is out of the way try running blast mine
Blast Mine isn't that great of a perk as all I see people tend to use it for is to say that they are on a gen
But then you have to remember that he has Blighted Crow and Alchemist ring, which rewards him heavily for landing a hit, allowing him to chain down survivors with his power at high speeds without any punishments, so mix that with tinkerer, ruin, undying and now you have someone who can get to a gen at the speed of sound and get rewarded because he landed a hit, you'll be spending alot more time getting rid of ruin but now you have to deal with his add-ons, which btw you can't really counter alchemist ring and blighted crow unless you get lucky
-
They aren't really good at all as it takes 2 hooks to kill a survivor slowly while in an animation, but you could just hook a survivor and be able to find hatch
-
@Potassium said:

i don't play blight but i'll say that i run BBQ for the Bloodpoints and so i don't end up being a gormless chicken not knowing where to go after hooking - i don't like camping even if it's accidental and BBQ rewards that mindset
I'm not saying that bbq isn't fine, bbq is fine
Its just every blight will either use bbq or swap it out for tinkerer and its so unfun
-
Deserved
-
time to watch this in like 30 minutes just to see probably 2 out of everything said to be slightly important
-
This games meta is boring anyways
Like blight players stop using alchemist ring, blighted crow, with undying, ruin, lethal pursuer, and bbq, bbq is fine but why do ya'll run the exact same build every game
-
release of a non-recolour that is good
-
They also didn’t fix pinhead’s momentum I think
