That behavior is reportable. Sadly, you do have to think about privacy and hiding your profile etc from people in this game. That take it way to seriously and personal. I'm not sure how it works for all platforms, if that is possible. But hopefully you can hide your personal details.
-
:)
-
Hag is incredibly strong, but you need to know what you are doing.
I suggest watching youtubes/streamers. Seeing what they can do, as they have played a lot. It's amazing, and you learn a lot.
But comparing hag to "billy and nurse" they are kind of... in a league of their own, imo. Unless they continue to nerf them to death, I think it will remain that way. However, that doesn't mean any other killers are not good or viable in any ranks.
-
I don't know why I expected a tree..
-
Well. My first thought is, were you around when it was released? XD It was crazy strong. I thought they changed it recently where you can do it more than once per match, already.
Having an exposed or backlash from it doesn't seem so bad. Hard to know for sure how it'll go with out seeing it in action. But I could see it being altered to be a bit more viable, as opposed to not at all.

2 is just knowing if there is a swf team pre match.
3 is knowing if there is a chase. Knowing if someone spotted ruin. Knowing if someone is going for a save. If there is a key in play. If the hatch has been found.
Sorry for the confusion. Wish you could edit poll options sometimes.
Ah. Thanks. No worries.
Hm. Well I think 2 is fine for sure. 3. Idk about. Every team would then essentially become a 4 man team, even if its only just 2 actual swf members. I'd have to think on that a bit.
-
I don't get the difference between 2 and 3. Because not all SWF members actually have "bond" or are telling each other everything. Not all use comms either. So, I am not entirely sure what information you mean, unless that ?
I would like to know as a solo survivor if my teammates are SWF or not. And I think killer should be able to find out after the match as well.
This reminded me, there have been a few times I've been sandbagged etc by a SWF team while playing. It is rare, but frustrating. One was a streamer and I heard how they were talking about me (I watched it afterwards because of all the sandbag stuff)... At the end they didn't want to save me from a hook, and did the unhook "spam" until one of them felt bad for me and just saved me.... thankfully.. (his teammates yelled at him for it too...). sigh
-
You can get to red ranks by doing scummy stuff.... It is possible...
Anyways. Survivors that lose will accuse killers of tunneling or camping, even when they are not. AKA a killer is chasing another survivor near the hook. (The survivor is not leading him away... etc...) Or a survivor gets found and runs towards hook.... and then again... killer is camping or tunneling.... Hopefully they will learn the meaning. You can try to talk reason or sense into them or just move along to the next game.
However, With that said. If you ARE actually camping and doing that, and a survivor calls you out on it at the end of the game... well... idk... own it? Don't yell at them for just saying the truth. What's the point, of getting upset for that? It's just fact. Move on. You completely ruined someone's experience of enjoyable game-play, and they are upset about it. They are human. If they aren't rude then I really don't see what the issue is. It's not a respectable way to play, and you gain no skill or practice of the game. But it is what it is. To each their own. Or just turn off the end game chat when you play that way. etc.
But people are allowed to complain, they weren't able to do much else now were they (heh)?
-
I think the main issue with MoM is that actual protection hits don't count, when you get them I mean. It doesn't tally up on the perk. That alone would help tremendously, and I don't think people would complain as much as it'd be 'easier' to get.
However, It has to be hard to obtain and for good reason. It's too strong of a perk to make it "easy" to get. That's how it is balanced.
-
It does add incentive.
-
Also the issue could be a bug with dedicated servers. Perhaps some survivors aren't "seeing" them, but the trapper does who knows. If that is the case, I'd let the survivors know to report the bug on the forums and such.
I expect any and all bugs possible when it comes to dedicated servers.
-
If they started banning people for playing their buggy game and things "bug" out playing said buggy game.... there wouldn't be a playerbase....
Occasionally they will make an announcement saying, ' hey this is an exploit and if you are caught doing that then you will be banned'. I see nothing about trapper currently. You are fine.
-
Also, regarding BBQ killer perk and lockers. You have to go into the locker before he throws them on the hook. As soon as the killer puts someone on hook the auras will show for a few seconds time, and if you are in a locker before then he can't see you. However if you go into the locker during that he can most likely see you, if he is facing his screen at you.
And if you fast vault/fast actions into things they get a notification on where you could be. Bitter murmur also will show survivors when a generator is finished, but only around that gen. There's a few aura type related perks.
For spine chill/cat tingle to light up it should light when a killer is near and also looking in your direction. With the patch coming (not out yet I dont think?), I think myers will now show up even in T1.
Feels like its kind of the elephant in the room, discussing it. Frankly, Killer Q's take forever to get into a lobby. A lot more people play killer because it is easier. You can see this during events especially, at least I do. You can do barely anything and get the tons of blood points. You can even play "scummy" and get pips like candy.
The issue is there is always going to be "survivor" vs "killer" mentality on the forums, as in you are WITH us or AGAINST us. So, this post will most likely just be viewed as a "entitled" survivor main! So, sorry about that.
Hopefully to those that disagree, (as in they think that survivors benefit more or something.) Can actually answer your questions and discuss why they themselves feel that way. And help you out with knowledge, vs just saying "GIT GUD"... <- (Well how?) And then they may realize they can change your mind from an insightful, logical manner, maybe.
And as for killer vs survivor. The game tries hard to make a balance with everything. It isn't 100% perfect, but things do change... eventually. There are tips and strategies to try to counter things. As well as perks. So, you may not like something or be annoyed with something, like lets say being found out through your aura. There is a perk called "Distortion" from the survivor Jeff. That will block your aura for 3 tokens/times. (The perk can sometimes be found in the shrine, if you do not have the character etc.) So, if they are using BBQ you will be hidden for 3 hook times. But to be honestly I don't think this perk is necessary, I was only using it as an example of ways to counter stuff in game. Sometimes actually being seen is better. Especially if you are far across the map, you might want the killer to come towards you. Just pretend you are doing something for a few seconds while visible and then walk off or hide. They waste time looking around etc. However, if you need more time and a gen is almost done, and they have pop the weasel (Which if they kick it regresses the gen by an insane amount). You might want to hide in a locker and not have the killer come to you, so you can finish the generator. Just saying sometimes being seen has its perks as well.
This is a pretty good link to find out information from the game, and here's a list of perks if you want to check them out:
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/PerksIf you have anymore questions or need help, maybe finding a counter to something that seems strong, don't hesitate to ask. There are helpful people here as well.

I'm starting to believe the whole thing is just a test to see how many people will throw money at them.

You're not wrong. Mis-clicks happen. :)

Rank Rewards gives BHVR nothing.
Battlepass gives BHVR money.
Which do you think needs prioritizing?
(actually the correct answer is Rank Rewards: a healthier game means more happy customers willing to spend)
That would be the smart approach.
There's a F2P game that comes to mind, which makes way more than this and doesn't employ any of these schemes to make money (no battlepass, no lootbox, no ONLY paywall cosmetics etc not even DLCs). They offer ALL content for free, allow people to earn and grind through as well of course as buying (they put out new content as well). And it's fair. Fair = trust = support. It works. It legit works. You make people happy, they WANT to support you. Trust goes a long way.
-
What do you mean???
Rank rewards .... Why would they prioritize that?? I mean how do you possible monetize that?
Charge people per rank than you get to grind thru a reward to -maybe- obtain ( with-in a time limit of course)? Hell, let's throw in some ad's too and call it the new loading screen between matches. Next project! Let's get to work!
eyeroll
Seriously tho. I agree, they should have made other things their priority over trying to get as much $ as they can... Like this is really what they spend their time on?
Meh... I'm just disappointed. We'll see what the future holds...
-
They have basically turned the event into a longer x2 bloodpoints weekend. The event only helps add extra bloodpoints as you play. I've not heard of any special items or anything....
The event cosmetics will be able to be purchased with serum you can supposedly "earn" in the rift, and they are giving 70 days for this?
So you have 70 days, to complete the rift, to get the serum and buy the halloween parts with it. They haven't really given out much information, so still waiting to find out more details.
-
Actually. If you are referring to the random rank 17. They are forcing SWF teams to go into the highest ranked survivor lobby. So if you have a SWF team of 3 rank 20s and 1 rank 3. It will find a killer to match the rank 3.
So, basically, that 17 was in a SWF with at least one other in that team.
Also, low ranked players or new players that are solo. Take ages to find a lobby... It's horrible. I think I spent literally 30 minutes at one point personally. It's god awful.
ANYWAYS.
Yes, please fix matchmaking. That'd be awesome.

I would not be surprised if you can buy perks outright for the character of your choice with real money in the next 12 months.
With what is going on, I wouldn't expect anything less.

INB4 in game advertisements.
-
Welcome to DBD.
Here have some *not free* cosmetics for all your trouble!
More seriously, the game has issues, matchmaking is horrible, I think they are also still "testing" dedicated servers as well. So, that may not be helping? Currently I think it depends on what rank you are to get a faster lobby. I think red rank killers are finding the fastest Q times because SWF will always get a killer with the highest rank in team. Most people starting out or play at lower ranks will be teamed with their higher ranked buddy so they get a higher level killer etc. Which doesn't help lower ranks at all.
Sometimes red ranks have harder time finding lobbies... the whole thing sort of seems to switch around. Also, I think more people tend to play killer in general, so there is more competition. (Easier to rank and get points etc.)
I have no 100% reason why it is the way it is, just some suspicions.
Hopefully they address it.... sooner than later...
Because it is frustrating.
-
The thought just occurred to me, I remember when they did that past event, where you had to play survivor to get 30 free serum and then killer for 30 free serum in order to earn all the free cosmetics (6). But the matchmaking and Q times were so bad, they changed it to 60 free serum on whatever side that you want to earn it with.
And that got me thinking about these challenges. Do you think matchmaking could potentially get even more skewed because of the challenges, as they are forcing people to play on another side as well, (if they don't want to or wouldn't do it normally).
I mean even currently, matchmaking is atrocious and it takes me forever just to get into a lobby. (both sides, sometimes)
I am also bummed thinking you can't even earn the Halloween skins during Halloween realistically. -- Depending on the tiers, which I guess are unknown at the moment, so hopefully this isn't an issue, but who knows.
This is such a bummer. I can only hope it's better than I think, but ... sigh

They can already do that by clicking your name on the endgame screen. OP is talking about being able to invite randoms you just played with to a SWF match without having to send friend requests first.
Not a bad idea actually. I like it.
-
I mean. tbh I don't think PC is so awesome either, but I can't really compare. Like it doesn't seem to work if you play killer, but survivor it seems to work most of the time, I guess.

Then you should be able to unlock them be grinding. This, this is more than a grind 100+ hrs on top of the difficulty is not a "grind" it's unreasonable for an average player.
When you pay for a water park they don't gate off the biggest slide until 10 minutes before closing time. They don't tie bricks to your ankles to prevent you from reaching all the rides before closing.
lmao. True that.

Those are both master challenges. So they have to be done in a single trial.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/755761#Comment_755761
Lol, 100+ hrs on top of BS hard challenges is not a "bit" of a grind. I'd rather they remove the auric cells from track if that's why they made it impossible to complete. I don't want my cells back. I want to be able to get what I paid for.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/755775#Comment_755775
It's not about the money. I want what I pay for. Nowhere have I complained about the money. Remove the auric cells from the track if that is the reason they made it BS impossible to complete.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/755792#Comment_755792
We get it. You are bad ass. Move along.
It's not about the money. I want what I pay for.
But isn't that the thing, you aren't actually paying for cosmetics. You are paying for the ability to unlock them from grinding for them? (Unless you also unlock tiers with auric cells as well).
And don't get me wrong I think it's crap to make it potentially- unobtainable especially for many, even just some. Like it seems ridiculous right now.
Also using NOED and blood warden... sure that's a great combo. And seems like an EZ way to do the mission.. but what if survivors realize killers are doing this and trying to unlock their challenges? And just run the hell out before you get a hook in. Etc. I know some people are very skilled in this game and it is very obtainable, but I think the point of these is to try to make the majority have a chance at completing them. Not just for a few. Hopefully they find a balance to this and resolve it.
I am also concerned with how people are going to be playing/and or possibly throwing games when the rift comes out just to try to complete the challenges.
-
I also struggle with feeling like killers shouldn't be able to see the names of survivors because it encourages bad sportsmanship (especially if you've escaped against a killer before).
Completely agree. After the match, okay, not before or during.
I also agree to giving out more safety pips, for things not in your control. And honestly... You saved your entire team and distracted the killer for the whole match.... That is SKILL. Oh but you didn't SPREAD your points during the match... so what? Being able to loop the killer the entire game... if anyone should pip for skill, it was that person (you). I mean what'd they others do? Hold M1, hit space periodically. Hold W and shift. Do it again?
I think the matchmaking system isn't that great to really show a persons skill level off. I don't see it being "fair" in some games either. But that's just me.

EXACTLY! I hate dailies for this very reason. I'm guaranteed to never get a match on the side I need.
It's like there's hidden code that senses your fun levels and changes your matchmaking anytime you feel like you might enjoy yourself
lol agreed! Glad you feel better too :)
-
Ya, same it'll both switch on me too. Usually its always faster on the one I don't want to play tho.... LOL ;_;
-
At least you got games,,,, i suppose.... takes forever for me :x
yay matchmaking...
It all sucks :(
-
@Kilmeran That is a very good point. I definitely see this as a real possibility.
@SpaceCoconut Thanks for doing the math.
And that is with completing the ENTIRE rift challenges, some people are unsure they can even do all the master rift challenges....
-
@PrincessPoop You realize. That they could offer the cosmetics for free? Or even cheaper than they do now, right? They are the ones that set the prices to $10 a set to begin with ...
Also, if you want to keep the prices the same, they could offer people who want to GRIND or do not have the money, a chance at obtaining it as well, by playing the game and earning, lets say shards. In order to buy and purchase things, somethings they ALREADY do this with, some not. I assumed it was due to time, they lower the prices later on etc. (Which seems fine, don't get me wrong.)
I'm just throwing this out there. They can alter and change anything they'd like too to make it more reasonable and fair etc.. Them making a "sale" or discount, thing... to me it just screams money grab, not "Oh, look how generous they are!".... ehhhh.. I mean.. I agree with @Pulsar... it leaves a bad taste. Hopefully they are not trying to "money grab" and stuff. I'll wait and see, before I judge like that. But it doesn't look that good, especially when you start considering how it doesn't look likely to be beatable or even slightly obtainable for everybody.
Disclaimer: I am not saying you are not allowed to make purchases, I am not saying they can't offer extra stuff that you have to pay for as they have been doing... That's not what I am saying.. Hopefully what I am saying makes sense, and I am solely and respectfully trying to express my views which may or may not disagree with yours. Thank you.
-
Geez.
You make so much sense, and your posts have so much information.
Thank you! :)
It's several reasons including this, that make it seem like this is just a money grab.
-
-Get 2 Sacrifices during the End Game Collapse using NOED (in one trial)
-Get 3 Sacrifices during the End Game Collapse using NOED (in one trial)
^- Does anyone know if this needs to be in the SAME match or over multiple matches? I know the "master" ones sometimes need to be in the same challenge. Trying to understand it better.
If you pay money for it, it should be achievable. I agree. @Theoretical_Heart
The thought occurred to me when looking at this thread,,, I really hope the dev's did not design these challenges to be "hard" so as you go thru them you panic and buy more auric cells to progress through the tiers... negating the "cell return"... I think for the most part, I'll just have to wait and see what exactly is they do about certain things... I guess.. As I still have a lot of unanswered questions about it all.
-
I don't know. If anything it just seems a bit of an "OFF topic" type of post. I also take naming and shaming to be more you are insulting/accusing them of exploit etc.... like not positive things basically.
-
@Endstille yeah, I got you. Certain things are questionable. I am also worried about the future, that's mostly what I am thinking about. I'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt. I am taking a wait and see approach.

You're not going to tell anyone how to spend their money. You're just going to be condescending and minimize those people who do want to spend money on this game by saying "If you want to donate, just donate money." I'm not donating money, I am purchasing items that I feel make my game experience more enjoyable. If you want to have a debate you should at least come up with an argument that doesn't require you to twist the words of others.
@Lost_in_the_Fog said:

Also, no one is saying they are afraid BHVR is going to run out of money (twisting words again). You are also making up arbitrary rules. In your world you can't pay for a game up front and continue to support them in the future? Why not? If you don't want to that's fine. Maybe you aren't telling people how to spend their money but you are implying that those who choose to spend it are beneath you.
Wut...
First of all. I thought we were having a civil discussion. I was genuinely trying to see it from your perspective. I was not trying to talk down or be condescending to you or anyone even in the slightest.
You seemed to be implying that DBD should have some funding... or something.. Which clearly got misinterpreted from what I was suggesting then. Which simply put I do not understand the view point that DBD needs extra money, and we should just give it to them...
You said, "wanting to give financial support" <- This just ... Idk. doesn't make sense to me. If I misunderstood you, you could have just clarified that, instead of going off saying all this other stuff. I am a pretty reasonable person...
If they make cosmetics that you have to purchase and you choose to buy. Go right ahead...
If they are doing shady business practices... I have an issue.
You are accusing me of twisting your words, yet you are actually twisting mine. And not only that, you accuse me of twisting it more than once "again".
Also, no one is saying they are afraid BHVR is going to run out of money (twisting words again).
^--- I am not saying you or anyone in this thread, I didn't point anyone out specifically) but there are people that are saying such things. And that is what I seriously don't understand because I have been seeing it very often about talks the game will be ending etc etc. Now I did say "People" I only meant some people. I could of spoken better. But to say no one, is also incorrect.
You are also making up arbitrary rules.
^- Huhh??
In your world you can't pay for a game up front and continue to support them in the future?
^- Completely incorrect
Why not?
^- IDK you tell me you said it?
If you don't want to that's fine.
^- Thanks
Maybe you aren't telling people how to spend their money but you are implying that those who choose to spend it are beneath you.
^-- What ?????? I don't know where you got all this.
My entire post... was asking you about what you were saying, as I've already said, which clearly got misinterpreted...
I then stated that when you give a company money it is a "risk" in that you do not know how they will spend it, and assuming it is going all to the game, isn't exactly accurate.
I then said, free to play games MAKE SENSE with having extra things, you pay for as ways for them to make profit. As for DBD or PAID games, them having DLC's already having to purchase the game, those are already profit, as well as the cosmetics they have already had over the years... All that is profit. I'm saying they are making quite a bit of profit... That was my point.
Then I asked if you felt that every game should have every single avenue of making profit, like would that be okay if DBD suddenly had lootboxes and all that stuff... And I said.. these things are just to question, IN my opinion. Which maybe this was offensive to you .... idek... Sorry if it was.. I was asking it more to try to get an understanding of why you feel the way you do, was it regarding this game only, or more. Or what types of games etc... I was legit just trying to understand you viewpoint. But don't even worry about it. It's all good.
Then I said I will question where this could continue to go... along with what I already stated above.
*stares blankly*

The battlepass is great everyone complaining about it as if its mandatory or such a terrible idea. People always want more cosmetics and people want more reason to play the game and it gives both. It also gives you a full refund if you complete the battlepass on top of whatever the cosmetics would be worth from the shop. You buy it once and you never have to buy it again unless they raise the price of it or you dont complete enough to get your 1000 auric cells back.
I'm not saying or implying, or complaining that is mandatory. I definitely 100% question their tactics for sucking revenue out of their consumers.
You do not get a full refund, you have the option to obtain 1000 auric cells back upon hitting level 68, if that is even possible. The dev's aren't even sure if it's possible. It'll be a "test". It is more like a rebate/gift card.
There's nothing wrong with people wanting cosmetics, if they want to buy it fine. I just don't necessarily agree with how this company has decided to go about this entire thing, and I question their future approach as well.
EDIT: Also I find it questionable to make specific exclusive content, that is ONLY accessed thru a paywall....

No one (at least not me) is saying that every penny spent on Dead by Daylight goes back into Dead by Daylight. Of course their revenue is going to be spent in a variety of ways. But if the revenue stream dries up the game will not continue to be supported in the ways the community wants. People choosing to spend their money on battle pass and cosmetics is about them wanting to give financial support to a company/product that they like.
I feel like, if you wanted to just donate, then just donate? Because really, wouldn't that actually be better? With what you are saying I mean. They are spending money and resources designing, making sure the clothing fits and doesn't bug out etc That's alot of time and effort and money/labor. just on all the cosmetics and now charms too. Instead if the money was just donated, wouldn't that better fuel the ways the "community wants"? They could save on all of that.
People seem to be afraid that this company's money will dry up/disappear.... That can happen even if you throw MILLIONS at them (which they have, btw). If they misuse or misappropriate that money... it don't matter, how much you gave, it will still end up disappearing anyway. They have been making amazing profit.. I've not seen anything to suggest they need any extra handouts.. Regardless, you are still taking a risk.
Again, if this was a free to play game, I can understand all of this. You want to support something that is free and you have access to all the content, they are making $0 initial profit... but with DBD, you have to purchase it, you have to purchase the extra content not already packaged within the main game etc. They have several ways of revenue already in place...
Do you think every single game out there should be like that? Making cosmetics, freemiums, lootboxes, battlepasses, no more actually free games etc etc. How do all the other games stay afloat I wonder. Because they don't need to do all those things.(There are 1 time payment apps out there that have made millions of dollars itself from costing $1).. I mean these are just things to question.... imo.
I'm never going to tell anyone how to spend their own money, but I still don't necessarily agree with how they are going about it. I also question where this will end..

Ah yes, the company that overworks their workers, barely pays them and gets ass licked by everyone?
Are you a whistleblower ? o.o
Edit: I'm just wondering how you know, I never heard of it personally.
-
@Endstille Yeah, I am starting to notice those same things as well. I see a lot of trolling too.
It's really nice to see the rare discussions and talking it out. Feels like I see the same argument, and it just gets repeated in another way... or the you just don't KNOW, "You haven't lived!"... and it gets personal. I don't know... There was another thread talking about how this game was "free"... lol.. and someone made a really great argument, and it completely changed my view, it was enlightening. My view was kind of similar to these guys, "Its all good!" But I was actually just ignorant. Plain and simple, there's no getting around that. I wasn't fully aware and basically mimicked like a parrot about things I didn't fully know, because the dev's even admit they don't even know everything. ( which who knows how accurate that is anymore).
I think trust is very important for a company to have with its customers. And for me.. I am now on the fence with these guys. Enough that I won't recommend or support them, until they gain that back from me, personally.
In any case I am not going to be all on board with how they are handling any of this, situation, and I've yet to see an argument to even support this practice being thrown in here, like it is, on top of all the other "stuff" they are doing...
Also, HOLY CRAP. You made an excellent point about MoM and ash. Everyone knew that perk was amazing etc. And they flocked to it and bought it, basically every game I had there were several ash's. But then oh, ya let's nerf it, to the extent you literally can't successfully use it once during a normal game, (I've watch a streamer go out of their way to activate it for hours on end). Oh, and no refunds if you only bought it for that etc, Of course they wouldn't offer to do that. Yea. You hit the nail on the head there. They could have not released it in that condition, they could have done several other ways to go about it, but chose not to.
And not even mentioning how they are marketing the "sale" aspect of the rift, which just makes me go -_- I mean seriously they came out with the price of cosmetics to start with, and now they are essentially saying those were so outrageously pricey, here's a DEAL for you. And when people go "well they could have made it more expensive!"... I just want to *facepalm*.... Just literally all of this is further fueling my distrust towards this company. *sigh*
I appreciate actual discussions because it saves me from being ignorant. I am glad I know NOW, instead of finding out later on, and getting hit with a "I told you so" because I missed the red flags.

Thrill of the hunt will stay active until it gets destroyed/cleansed, because it is also a hex totem. You won't have any idea which tote m is which, on the map either, if you use more than one. But you will get a notification when it is touched to help you go to it. Also if you are playing hag you can trap the spot as well, people will usually run near it, but that will only work maybe 1-2 times, before they crouch walk. Thrill does make it pretty slower to be cleansed, and if you go straight to it, I think you have enough time on any map to stop it.
The only thing is if someone is near the area and sees that you are trapping that spot, they might go check it out. Sometimes when you check on totems you giveaway the position of where it is. And survivors will go investigate.

Well that is crap :( Alright, that's it I dislike it too!

Ah. That indeed seems like a hate'able feature.
If you post on someone else's wall do you get notified of a response?

Thrill of the hunt - perk
A Hex rooting its power on hope. The false hope of Survivors fills you with excitement and strengthens your totems.
For each Dull Totem and Hex Totem remaining on the Map gain a Token.
Gain 10 % more Bloodpoints for actions in the Hunter Category for each Token.
Survivors' cleansing speed is reduced by 4/5/6 % for each Token.
Gain a notification when someone starts working on a Hex Totem.
I've never timed how long it takes to cleanse with or without thrill, I read someone say it's about 15 seconds, I think without? But not sure.

I hate using the wall system on forums, ask me anything you want to know
And before you ask, yes I am very tired
I mean what you mean. You said you hated using it.
I guess climbing walls can be tiring.

Hows the wall system even work?

People seem to be missing an important fact about what happens when you give someone else your money, especially with no specific contract. This company is not contractually obligated to continue Dead By Daylight just because you buy cosmetics, dlcs, anything else they throw at you to buy. You purchasing something, does not mean you are entitled to gain more content. Once the money goes to them, they spend it how they see fit, not on what you "hope" they spend it on... They could very well spend the money on another game etc. Or even a mansion.... It's theirs now... Not yours. And not dead by daylight's either.
I hope that's clear to people...
@Endstille Even with all your great points, people don't seem to want to listen...
Feels like I keep hearing, "WELL DBD IS GOING TO DIE IF WE DONT DO SOMETHING. CALL UPON THE CALVARY. Where's the charity donations hurry! We're talking bankruptcy potential here.... when they are in excess of millions... SHH we don't discuss those things..." erm.. okay. Sure.. Let's not question their incentives or motives, and the future of this game......
As far as the video is concerned, I am really disappointed no one seems to know anything in its entirety. It didn't make me go YAY let's support this now, either. Good, bad or ugly. For me it remains to be seen how this will turn out and I also agree, I think it didn't have a "critical thought". I was expecting more from what I heard on the forums. I was disappointed in it. :( And I don't see how it shows that the rift isn't a scam or cash grab. If the only excuse and reason for that is "You make your money back", No you don't. You make the auric cells back, MAYBE. it is essentially money you turned into a gift card, and also a rebate (which the video mentioned as well). They will bank on people not being able to finish and get their money and have to spend more each time.
I'm just pointing these things out. And I am not saying I agree one way or another about certain things. "We'll see" is more my stance on it. But the arguments and defense on it, just doesn't add up for me, personally.
