  • I forget who made it but someone made a cool version of the Demogorgon, basically the Demo could make 3 Gates and both the Survivor and Demo could go through them, the Upside-down put debuffs on the Survivors and the Demo could hook people in the Upside-down forcing Survivors to go througha gate to save them. I hope we get something like that. They also had the larva which basically did what it does in the show but hitting someone with the larva in them put them into the Upside-down.

  • Yeah the perk really doesn't do much, it was good on OG Freddy before his rework. I have never gotten any opportunity from this perk and losing the stacks at the end is just a waste of time imo. Some people have said that maybe it should hide the Red Stain after getting several stacks while in a chase for a few seconds like activate it? That would be cool but make Beast of Prey useless even though it pretty much is.

  • My favorite character is El/Eleven but there is no way she can be in this game.

A lot of people want Hopper and I can see why but a lot of people are thinking it's either Nancy or Steve, I'm hoping Nancy personally.

Well that really sucks geuss i was just up against complete noobs then

Yeah, M&A just cancelled out Furtive Chase.

I would agree with this, but it makes some perks worthless and some perks broken. NOED would be a broken s***-show considering survivors already ignore unlit totems most times and Adrenaline wouldn't actually do much but give people an extra hit while they hunt for randomly generated switches.

Well Adrenaline already gives them an extra hit while they make their way to wherever they're going, Exit or not. Ideally you would want Adrenaline to get you to the Exit and hope it's already open but that's a hope and strat that may not work 100% of the time. Now it would give them an extra hit and they should use it to hide and then find the Switch.

People already complain about NOED and they have no reason to, it's their fault 100% counter or not. But I can see the possibilities yeah, this change makes the end game a more stealthy approach rather than a rush.

That's pretty much RIP Hex Perks.

Well the map won't show any totems unless they find the totem first or do a Gen, so that's at least 1 Gen before it might get destroyed. And if someone is prioritizing the Gen to get rid of the Ruin then that's more time Ruin is having effect.

When I first started playing Tapp I brought in a map to use with this perk and it all revolved if I could finish the Gen but that didn't always happen, sometimes I did half of it then got chased and then someone else finished it. It won't be a guaranteed totem destroyer.

But I still don't like the idea, if Tapp has a map showing where everything is then that's not a hunch.

  • Having 2 Survivors for the next Chapter is pretty cool imo, as long as we get a Killer with them as well lol

They won't release a chapter without a Killer, don't worry and even if we do get 2 Survivors which I hope we do then that's ok. It's not like both Survivors will be released with 1 epic game changing perk each...

They've literally said what Ghost-Face is like when he's not in costume

He's the Spider-Man 3 Symbiote influenced Peter Parker

This is canon to DBD in some way I know it

I love Ghostface even more lol

That would look really bad, saying "oh yeah, next chapter is a actual chapter like everyone wants but actually no, we played you".

I'm just playing around, there is no way they would release a Survivor only chapter, Killers would riot because they'll have to wait another 3 months before getting new content.

You remember that Demogorgon thread you posted in? I really hope we get something like that, I would be so happy because it's so beautiful. Hooking a Survivor in the Upside-down and the others would have to cross over to save them, sweet.

  • I despise this add-on, it makes the Snares weaker but gives him more BP, it's complete crap.

Wraith has one but he is still ''invisible'' so he is still effective.

Trapper can still trap with padded jaws so it's ok.

    Speed Limiter can still down

But Freddy's Snares are now worse than Clown's base bottles so they ain't stopping anyone from doing anything.

  • Gonna have a screaming black suited Spider-Ghost!!!

  • I love NOED, I use it as a ''SUPRISE, BITCHES!!!'' mechanic, *whispers sometimes i let them get the last Gen on purpose ;) sshh.

  • Really good artwork :) I love it, the style is funny but still tries to be serious.

  • So you want the current Legion to be EVEN WORSE than OG Legion? Also I didn't know it was 5 hits because I don't hate myself to waste that much time using a power that designed not to work. Then buff the tape itself? So keep the ability it has on the tape but buff it? If that's right then that's the OG Legion. Why would you want to make Legion's FF worse? Also, no reason to call people names, I'm just having a polite conversation over here. If I misunderstood something just explain it to me so we can have a better talk about it like normal people.

What I actuality meant too say was when a pallet is thrown down he could activate his power and bust right threw the pallet, sorry for not being clear.

Yeah that would be terrifying lol

Have you ever used a chewed pen, downed someone then waited for their friends to come good snowball potential in that one granted pig coined it lol

I've tried but the bastard always crawls towards me to break me out before anyone gets there lol

As @SnakeSound222 said, I'm pretty sure the lawsuit going on affects all merchandise, no matter what. Also @HatCreature, the only other power I can think of atm is basically a destruction power where Jason for a limited time can simply walk through pallets or smash down vaults like nothing but that's basically it.

I didn't look at the thread because I don't like the idea of Jason being in this game but someone made a thread about Jason called The Mist or something, I don't know where people get that from. Giving Jason some sort of ultra destructive ability would prob be the best or appropriate thing, the phasing through pallets and windows for a short time is cool though.

Are you on ps4? If so i can show you some of the confirmed best spots to stalk from while guarding basement

I am on PS4, I'm also HatCreature on there. Just add me and we can check it out hopefully soon, I'mma bought to get off work and go to bed lol

  • I don't think either is better than the other.

I feel Michael has more potential for HUGE snowballs and massive power plays if done right.

Ghostface is more focused and though he can't can't snowball like Myers he can use his ability more often and potentially get more downs or at least the same amount of an average Michael but over the course of the match.

They're both stealthy but Scratched Mirror Myers is the stealthiest

I personally prefer Ghostface over Myers even though I love Michael, I just don't like how restrictive it feels with Michael to get his ability. I can get Stalk and down people fast as Ghost but with Michael I have to work hard and time it right and then utilize that time as well, if I can't find anyone in T3 then I wasted that ability and my potential later on in the match. Ghostface doesn't have those restrictions, he is a true stalker and assassin, even after he Exposes someone he is still in stealth, unlike Michael.

Not in the basement, outside the basement watching the entrance to, you avoid the aura perk (don't remember the name since I never run it) and have full control of anyone entering

So proxy camping, not actually camping but keeping a close eye on people coming in and then Stalk them. That sounds pretty hard because the angle you would need is pretty precise and not always there, you'd have to be at an angle to get enough Stalk on them going in and not be spotted while waiting. Of course you'd run in and then stalk from the stairs.

This sounds challenging but exciting to pull off, I need to try this. Basement Builds are what excite me the most in this game 🤣 I'm such a monster. I get flamed hard core sometimes but I laugh it off because they're ignorant.

  • So you want Frank's Mixtape as default for Legion, the Mixtape that takes DW progress away, you want to bring back the OG Legion lol no that's not happening.

All Legion needs is his original FF Speed and Duration then make an add-on for giving back their Vault speed in FF and then he's good as new. Yes his DW is crap but he still has the ability to keep everyone injured and do it very quickly which in itself is a good thing. They also need to change where they can't Heal, Repair Gens, or open the Exit while they have DW on.

  • The best answer was given by Snake up there.

But like Chiyo said, what would he even do? In the films Jason has been seen to have minor teleportation abilities in number 8 but other than that he has no real supernatural powers other than being invincible so Behavior would have to make something up from scratch.

If they did get the 2009 version he would basically be Trapper lol The only other thing I can think of would be having an arsenal of weapons that do different things. Machete for normal swings, a bow for long range(he used an axe in the film as well but Huntress has that covered), and maybe the axe for instant pallet breaks? Not much to do with 2009 Jason other than be a skin for Trapper.

  • BT actually DID get a buff, it used to not go down in a chase, NOW it doesn't go down in the Terror Radius.

If you buff this perk too much it becomes overpowered and unfair on the Killer side; to some that may not seem important but those kinds of people get slugged the entire game because they deserve it.

I'd have to say any of my mains; wraith, Freddy, or GF

Wraith: the OG stealth killer his power and addons honestly in my opinion makes him one of the most versatile killers from yoinking people off gens with the silent build or speeding across the map like an invisible billy, keeping people on their toes with the bone clapper, or my personal favourite the hunter jus add an all seeing to a windstorm and no survivor can escape your ever watchful eyes (also he is probably the only killer you can easily go surv watching without malicious intent with).

Freddy: I fell in love with him pre-rework in my opinion id love to see a killer bring those dynamics back, but he is now more versatile and admittedly has been given more gen pressure (though I kinda loved the original debuff adding in a class photo and paintbrush with M&A created an unstoppable monster to be reckoned with but that's long gone R.I.P all seeing ninja freddy)

Ghost face: fits my perfect idea of an assassin (lmao Michael is too noticeable and piggy can't stalk someone from half the map away to insta-down from close range) his ability to crouch and go mostly unnoticed before ruining the lives of those he touches (my two favorite builds are the basement devil-face and the distance stalker that avoids all chances of being broken, admittedly the former is reserved for SWFs)

You mentioned GF being strong in the Basement and I was like WHAT?! But then you said SWF and I was like, I've been there.

I had a decent SWF team almost demolish me as GF but the Basement saved my ass.

They are actually mostly in a pretty good spot, they are one of my favorite killers currently. The main thing that needs to be fixed is their button addons, and thats coming sooner or later.

They feel too slow, I want their Vault speed to come back and their original FF Speed as well, they can bring back the original Duration to compensate which is not a huge deal. One user suggested to bring back their Vault speed in an add-on which I feel is still fair.

  • @Catbucket True, they weren't balanced at all. They're balanced now but some changes they made were too harsh.

  • I got the game because of Freddy but he's my favorite slasher not my favorite Killer in the game.

Before the huge nerf I would say The Legion is my favorite <3

Everything about them is beautiful(except the nerf), they're just a group of friends who traveled down a dark path but it was together, they're a real group who stick together. True, Susie was a bit less into it than the others and maybe she stayed out of peer pressure but she was still one of them at the start and still felt that bond. They're the best of friends I have always wanted.

Design wise I felt the OG Legion was designed perfectly for the character they represented, OG Legion truly felt like someone having an adrenaline rush and overcome with a bloodlust. You can hear them panting as they run, the swings their blade, and the rage when they lose. You can FEEL that speed when they jump over pallets after the Survivor, nothing got in their way, even if someone escaped you still felt like a winner because of the experience; beautiful. Sure they did need the nerf but the nerf was too hard, that's my stance on that.

The Legion we have now is not the Legion they were and are on some crippling medication right now so they aren't up to par. I hope the Devs ease up on them and let them shine soon because The Legion is the best group in this game, they got spunk and style and deserve a come back.

  • What if we got Father's Glasses as a Purple and turn Prayer Beads into an Ultra? It's obviously a lot more powerful and coveted.

Also I would love to use Father's Glasses a lot more often ;)

  • I laugh if the occasion calls for it, like I down someone and their buddy tries to flashlight save but fails, so they DC. That's funny for me but realistically I have a strong distaste for it, it's shows privilege and anyone on this ######### planet who believes that they are privileged to anything is disgusting and a lowlife piece of ######### who doesn't deserve the tears they shed when they can't get a discount on the cheapest room in the entire town.

People who DC because they are salty are bad people.

People who DC for a legit reason, like having to go to work, that's fine but it's not like anyone can tell the difference.

  • Self-Care takes 16 seconds to heal, I think Mangled makes it 20.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Coulrophobia is good in this build. Whether they persist on pushing through healing within your TR, or keep on the move to get out of your TR, it still helps makes survivors waste a lot more time.

I'll have to try that out, sounds fun :) I've been using Devour Hope to give them something extra to worry about LMAO 🤣

  • It feels incredibly painful to have a perk taken away from you lol Survivors and Killers get this. It would combat D-Strike, Adrenaline, Self-Care, everything; and it would suck. I can't say it's a good idea or a bad idea but I will say that if it came into the game I wouldn't complain.

The bright side of this perk though is that it would incentivize Sabotaging Hooks because Survivors would want to get these out of the way ASAP. This also gives Hangman's Trick a viable build :) So this perk does have benefits for both sides.

  • No problem :) Glad you liked it, I'm pretty sure most people graze over my posts because I explain too much lol

  • @NoShinyPony I respect that, and will continue to believe my theory until it is disproven lol

I see it more of as a preference than a die hard struggle for [insert number of totems] ''OMG, where are the last 3 TOTEMS!!??'' No one knows where they are but they exist.

''WE HAVE 1 TOTEM LEFT GUYS'' The number is insignificant since the existence of said totem is the cause of their problem.

I'm not raggin, I'm just explaining why I can't see it. It wouldn't be a problem for me basically.

  • So if you use Sloppy you are increasing the time it takes to heal them up from Dying which won't be very much because it will be pretty full when they get there. Sloppy will only help with healing them afterwards. Thana is good to slow down the entire team while someone is slugged so they will prioritize getting him up over Gens.

My build for this technique is on Freddy since he can do it the best but you can do it on Amanda Piggy too.

Thana, Knockout, Sloppy, Free Perk---basically what I said above with Thana but it is now empowered by Knockout so the entire team has a debuff but they can't find their buddy either making it even harder to do Gens and then healing him takes even slower with the addition of Sloppy. This works best on Freddy because of his add-ons that make things even slower in the Dream World.

Amanda can make this even stronger with her Blindness add-on, the person on the floor can't crawl to help if he can't see them ;)

  • @Freudentrauma I was gearing this more towards totems in general, there are 5 total and I think it would be misleading if the symbol changed to broken if 4 Dull totems were destroyed but number 5 wasn't because it was SURPRISE!!! Devour Hope.

I love the idea of an offering to make more totems, it would have to be secret. In this case, I think if it was a thing the symbol would then break at 5 so Survivors think they got all 5 and this adds to the illusion that the Secret offering gives. ''Oh yay the symbol changed to broken so we got all the totems. Wait what? NOED?! But we got em all! Wait...he didn't Mori anyone...the Secret Offering was for a TOTEM!!!'' In this way it would bring back the old games where NOED was still a surprise and had an advantage over Survivors of being a secret which since it would be an offering would be fair.

  • @NoShinyPony But the actual number itself isn't important.

Lets say that the symbol is up and the last Gen goes off, bam NOED. Someone finds the totem and breaks it and then then the symbol snaps saying all totems are destroyed. Having a the number 1 saying 1 totem left would not have helped that team in any way since they already knew that there were totems left. Sure there could be speculation from all Solo players but if they want those totems gone then they need to search for them and they KNOW they're still up.

That's my reasoning why the SWF would have no real advantage over Solos with this idea since the number itself is not important. Whether it's 2 or all 5, everyone knows there is still at least 1 and 1 is all NOED needs.

  • Sloppy Butcher, Nurse's Calling, Hex: Ruin, and BBQ

Discordance, Surveillance, Huntress Lullaby, and Overcharge

Basically my philosophy is that Pig has a built in 2nd Objective with her traps so adding more Objectives like Totems, healing, and Gen progression it really divides their focus.

A really fun build is using Amanda's Secret on Lery's using Discordance, Surveillance, BBQ, and Ruin, lots of Gen grabs because of the walls obstructing their vision.

  • Pretty difficult as I play both sides

Survivor---Meg, red heads are my type lol

Killer---Susie, without that mask she is gorgeous, just pure cute hotness

Rin Yamoaka, if she's this hot dead can you imagine what she looked like alive? Her hair must have been a silk blanket of desire.

  • Something I remembered after reading this, Myers's Tombstone add-on that allows us to instantly kill Survivors, before I used it I legit thought it gave him a 2nd Mori animation where he used his sister's tombstone to kill the Survivor; I was disappointed.

Maybe one day all Killers could get a 2nd Mori but probably not.

  • @thesuicidefox I love the Haddonfield tiles, I adore the colors and the houses, the urban setting feels really good. I don't know if they can use the same types of tiles from licensed maps on normal maps but I would love another town map with houses, it just feel more real maybe. All the maps we have are these middle of nowhere maps that you wouldn't see very often in real life, factories, meat packing plant, the inside of estates and junk yards these are all places that exist but they're out there not for the general populace so they feel foreign. I want more maps that we can relate with.

  • @thesuicidefox I would prefer a new map in these realms tbh, I would rather have a completely new map with the same tile set rather than 1 map with several variations but Behavior said that wasn't possible or at least difficult to get permission to do.

  • @thedevalex said:

I'm honestly glad that there's 5 variations of the same map. When you learn a map completely it gets pretty repetitive and boring to play on. Variation adds excitement, and uncertainty is a good thing.

I agree with this statement, because it's the same map but with 5 variations it gives the map more variety and confuses everyone. Survivor not being able to learn the layout is good for the Killer and vice versa, uncertainty is an advantage to both sides.

Also think about this for a moment, all the licensed maps are going to get this treatment, maybe not 5 each but more variations of those maps. This means we may not be getting the Corn maps as often <3

  • @GH0ST3D I agree the add-on is fine I just think it needs to be a Rare since it's worse than the other Purple, it's weird to have two purples that do the same thing but one is significantly worse.

  • They said it was a good idea but I have not seen any confirmation it was actually implemented yet.

Still an amazing idea and an actual real use for Luck pouches and that 1 perk because only people who suicide or have no choice even attempt to unhook themselves.

  • 32 or 48, those are way too big for Survivors, it should be smaller. Revealing should be used in a small area to stop Ghostface from marking your or your buddy nearby, not for getting him out of stealth from cross map.

  • I wonder if Vigil will be the new meta if Vigil allowed recovery while running with Exhaustion. My bet is it will, I know Megs used to be able to infinitely kite the Killer with Sprint Burst before they changed it.

  • Okay so I watched season 1 and the attention to detail in this is beautiful, if we do get this in the game I will be really disappointed if it's not something like this. The potential of this Killer is huge and my expectations are sadly really high lol
