Freddy, Pig, and Ghostface, formerly Legion as well <3
I'm playing HoD right now but when I come back I want to git gud as Trapper and Billy. The Trapper has always fascinated me, he's such a beastial looking Killer, raw savageness, and his ability is simple yet effective, it rewards smart outplays. The only reason I haven't played him as much before is that I was trying to unlock every teachable and by the time I was done I burned out and only wanted to play Killers I was already good at and had fun with rather than struggle all over again trying to learn someone else who barely had any perks.
-
When I first played Pig and saw that Make Your Choice ''Exposed'' Survivors I was very confused because I thought it meant Auras. When someone told me that it meant they were a 1 hit down I was pissed off because I was like ''how was I supposed to know that? I can't even find the person who made the save''.
-
@anarchy753 Well if enough people bring it up in their Q&A or maybe if I magically tag @Peanits or another mod lol maybe they'll see this and change it.
-
They look like they tried to keep his invisibility aspect but it's basically nonexistent now
-
@anarchy753 Ok so it's not just me then, if anything they should give her back her speed with this add-on but not have it stack with the Waterlogged Shoe, or just take that away. I think this is the only Killer that has an alternate form for her ability that gives her no benefits.
Wraith can still not be seen kind of and confuses Survivors, Trapper can still trap and Freddy gets arguably more powerful lol
-
Gen rush is a problem but it has to do with the strength of Killers, if the Killers can't spread enough pressure around the map then Survivors are able to do Gens without any fear and that's when 2 -3 Gens get done in one chase. This is why a lot of Killers use Ruin because it is a small form a pressure that's passive. If Survivors had other things to do along with Gens or if the general strength of Killers were increased this problem would go down.
Loops are kind of being redone but I think only on the licensed maps, I think a Dev said they want to eventually address all the loops in the game and make them similar to the ones on the new Badham but I might be wrong.
Also, Hybridpanda on Twitch and Youtube is a Killer main, he does play some Survivor but mostly Killer. Monto is a Killer main too because he doesn't like playing solo Survivor.
-
@LordGlint Oooh that would be a good buff, less reload time per bottle.
-
I was originally going to make the thread about changing his ability do this instead of it being an add-on but decided it would change him too much. We would lose the Clown we have in favor of a Freddy type Clown which is not the way to go.
His biggest problem is map pressure and that despite being an anti looper pallets are still a problem for him. He's good 1v1 but not 1v4 and his base power is the problem. He has nothing in his kit to help him spread out the pressure and that was some of the inspiration which produced the add-on.
-
Yeah you'll find those kinds of people every now and then, thankfully you got out, sometimes I don't when that happens.
-
I wish I saw this first so I could post it here instead of making a separate thread lol I made a Clown add-on or maybe it can be an ability change all together. I agree, there IS away of changing Killer abilities and making them stronger without changing them completely, add-ons are one way to do it but it doesn't have to be.
Here's a link to my thread with a Clown change I mentioned.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/80728/clown-add-on-buff#latest
-
Clown is awesome but yeah Infectious Fright isn't actually good on him, he can't capitalize on it very well.
-
I love Ghostface <3 I got him to P3 since that is his stealthiest outfit...for some reason. I love being sneaky and he fits my style perfectly, it is so satisfying to find someone alone on a Gen and Expose them and then watch them freak out trying to figure out where I did it from.
But I do have complaints. They didn't need to add in those extra 4 meters on both sides, it was not necessary and no one needed it, we only needed practice but the Devs did it anyway.
Ghostface can be revealed behind walls with someone on the otherside, if this particular thing was fixed then I actually don't have anything to complain about. Besides what I said above this particular thing really hurts Ghostface, everyone says it's lag so maybe the Dedicated Servers will fix it if that's the case but if it isn't lag then it needs to be fixed. It's not fair that Ghostface needs to peak behind a wall to see you but Survivors can turn their camera so they can see you on the otherside of a wall when you didn't even know someone was close by.
-
My thing, sometimes, is slug the first Survivor but hook the second. This creates pressure and also means only 2 two people are left and 1 is healing and the other is saving. Infectious Fright makes this strategy work and is actually beautiful on Plague, I was surprised to see a Killer with a perk that compliments their own abilities. This particular perk shines on specific Killers like Myers, Plague, possibly Leatherface, anyone with an instadown basically but can still be used by every Killer. Unlike Iron Maiden which specifically helps only 2 Killers and is complete ######### on everyone else because they can't use that information or it's effects to benefit them in any way.

No dude, totems are meant to be destroyed. Thats literally their only purpose, what else can a survivor do with a totem.
@foochill1 It's hard to explain but bear with me. Totems are basically an extra ability for Killers but they can be so powerful and oppressive that the Devs decided that Survivors need a way to get rid of that ability, bam totem. So the ability is not MEANT to be destroyed like the Burning Man who is built to be burned down but meant to have a COUNTER which is the ability to destroy the totem.
You're not SUPPOSED to destroy the totem, it isn't required it is a choice. Totems exist so they CAN BE DESTROYED, there is a difference between meant to be destroyed like a Jenga tower and able to be destroyed like a Lego tower.
-
Dead Hard
With Dead Hard I know that no matter what happens I will always have the ability to drag a chase on for a long time. If the Killer is just demolishing my team because they suck then I can loop and run that Killer around for a good while with Dead Hard.
I can always find a Med-Kit or a team mate to heal me, maybe if they aren't complete #########. I can do Gens without a toolbox, and sometimes I can make an unsafe save with Dead Hard to possibly not get downed at the hook.
This was a tough choice between this and Urban Evasion, I love that perk because I love being sneaky but once I get into a chase I don't feel as confident without Dead Hard.

I played Nurse before, I had my Devour Hope and Thrill of The Hunt spawn within blink distance from each other. They couldn't touch my totem to save their lives because I would right there instantly. :)
@NMCKE That is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen 🤣 That match must have been glorious.
Now Fox, I understand your argument after looking the whole thread over. Your argument is solely that despite that you could have used his strategy against him and won the game, that it was still ''impossible'' to do destroy the totem. I get that, but it was Trapper, even it was Devour it was still Trapper and it is OK to not be able to destroy the totem. Totems are not meant to be destroyed, they are ABLE to be destroyed and allow the Survivors relief from it but destroying it is not mandatory nor is it always necessary. Survivors CHOOSE to do totems and even though a situation can come up where it can be impossible it doesn't matter, it honestly does not matter in the grand scheme of the match because you can still win regardless. If you and your entire team die because you wanted to destroy a totem then that's your fault for falling into the Killer's trap.
Now if you were not allowed to Exit the game and the Devs made it where you can't leave unless all Hex totems were destroyed, THEN you would be right. You would be right because Survivors wouldn't be able to choose to do the totem, it would be mandatory.
-
Incredibly unlikely to happen, yes.
-
This is not a problem in my opinion.
Like you said, do the Gens. A really good strat would have been to keep him next to his totem by disarming one and running off or sneaking off. And when he would go, disarm it again so he would come back making it easier for the other Survivors to do the Gens since his pressure is really low.
Really that whole match could have turned into your benefit with the right strat and attitude towards his strat. He had a good defense and because it was good and annoying your team it got everyone(I'm assuming) killed. Really your team made that totem spot good, it was only a good totem because you guys made it good, when a team focuses on a totem instead of a Gen then they lose.
-
It's a beautiful map but it does need a lot of work, it's huge and disorganized.
When I saw we were getting a Japanese themed map I immediately thought of an indoor mansion map with gardens, statues, torn open doors, and weapon displays. But we mostly got a giant garden with a tiny house, I really hope we get an indoor version.
-
This particular thing with SWF won't be a huge deal. SWF is still unfair for Killers and this won't make them stronger. TBH comms is the only thing about SWF that makes them powerful and there is no way to get rid of that. They can be coordinated on voice chat and that's an edge that the Devs cannot get rid of.
The only real way to combat SWF is to make the Killers stronger. All Killers are good at 1v1 but not all of them are good at 1v4 and the Devs said they have to take certain steps before balancing the Killers to their level. It just can't get here fast enough because the more bad Killers they choose make the worse the game gets.

@HatCreature I'm willing to bet the Badham rework ate Ghost Face's map.
We got 4 new arranged versions of badham with texture/loop changes too soon after for that to not be the case.
@Bbbrian2013 I can accept that
-
I already burned/criticized them for not making a map. I of course don't know the details they made with funworld with the mask but they were allowed to make their own character to go with it so what really happened with the map?
Were there negotiations for a map or was it just never talked about and only made a deal for bright cosmetics?
I'm not saying that mall would have been the perfect map but an indoor map is where Ghostface thrives.
-
I love Pig :) <3 I got her to P3 she's one of my top 3 Killers
-
Either Elk or your idea would be awesome, Moris are special even though some people don't like them, but who cares about them.
I think all Amanda players would love for Pig to get this Mori :D we just plop a ######### RBT on their head and it goes off.
-
It's not the 2v8 that we crave but it's probably the only one we could get in this game.
Beautiful and brilliant concept, a new game mode in the guise of a new Killer/Killers. It is very creative and gives each Killer 2 Survivors but also switches those Survivors after every hit which is genius. By switching from 1 Killer to the next it means that they can't get oppressed by 1 and can only be downed by the other, skill is very important from both sides and not just a free for all, which everyone wants.
I would most definitely be playing Seraphine mostly as she suits my preferred play style, she's elegant, lethal, and mysterious, simply gorgeous. Also, I love that you made them French, beautiful people, I love checking them in at work(I work at a motel).
-
Ok that's cool, so when he latches onto you you're moving forward and you decide where you're going. That def makes it harder to get the skill check lol I really like that, I can see people struggling and be like ''######### I only have 1 more chance to get this skill check'' and then they go down because they missed it <3
Overall this is a cool Chucky, I haven't seen the remake yet but I really want to so I was actually happy to see that your idea was based off that film and not the original. I love the original of course but this was refreshing. For instance you followed the remake so you have a 2nd Buddi doll help with all the animations for hooking. Whenever someone complained that Chucky was too short for these actions I was thinking of the original and always said they can have the specter of his human form Charles, appear in Chucky's place and hook Survivors or kick Gens.

The extra basement would only have 2/3/4 hooks per tier.
Ah I see, the 2nd Basement would be less powerful as the 1st until tier 3. That's probably one of the better tiers i've seen lately actually, it provides an incredible power, like a 2nd Basement, but that 2nd is inferior to the 1st until tier 3; love it.
-
Lets Play sounds like an Obsession based Nurse's Calling? It's a bit odd and hard to read, I apologize.
So when Chucky latches onto a Survivor the Survivor has to do a skill check to get him off, that's not really a hard thing to accomplish. The Survivor really just has to stand still and wait for them then do it. If they run around it would be a lot harder so they just won't run or get to a pallet and waste it.
I had a similar idea but mine was with an average sized Killer, my idea was if we had a Killer who could jump long distances but since he was a tall he could jump over small loops and pallets. Chucky's leap wouldn let him go far but he wouldn't be tall enough to go over small loops or walls so maybe that would be a better idea for him? He could literally just jump several meters forward with a lunge attack, it's not as interesting as your idea though I will admit.
I do love your other two perks though, they seem powerful yet not too powerful. Friends Till The End is the Killer version of Leader and Prove Thyself which is really cool. It forces Survivors to spread out and not group up or they'll be punished but at the same time that Survivor can't see Auras so he can't even help his friends. Pairing this with Furtive Chase could make this more powerful.
-
@Bbbrian2013 Ah ok, glad I'm wrong. I'm really excited for Haddonfield, not sure what they can do with it but it's one of my favorite looking maps, it's just really nice to look at, the urban setting cool.
I want another indoor map
-
Here's hoping the next Killer has 2 perks that's actually useful instead of maybe 1
Also I don't think we're getting a new map, I believe they said they were focusing on making variations to licensed maps this year instead of adding in more new maps. I guess they can do both but that seems like a lot of work.
-
@ShrekIsHot Ah thanks, I kind of figured that would happen but I wasn't sure. I don't have Object unlocked yet.
-
Perhaps he could be similar to Plague since his whole shtick is bees.
But regardless of what direction they go with him, Candyman would be a beautiful addition to this game, just look at him, he's dapper.
-
But what would the tiers be? Would you still have the same effects but it also makes 2 Basements?
This would be cool on Basement builds because certain maps are impossible to play that way, like Yamoaka, Azarov's, and any map where the two buildings are too far from each other.
-
We're Going To Live Forever, Borrowed Time, Dead Hard, and Self-Care
If I don't use WGTLF I switch it with D-Strike.
That's my main build, I want to be able help to my team but I also want to be self sufficient and not rely on them.
If I just stopped caring about my team like they do with me 90% of the time this would be my main build
Urban Evasion, Stake Out, Dead Hard, and Self Care----I like to be sneaky, no I don't use Claudette; I use Nea.
-
Survivor---Nea and Tapp, I want to main Ash as well but until they fix MoM I can't allow myself to.
Killer---Freddy, Pig, and Ghostface
I have Prestiged to 3 all 3 of those Killers as well as Spirit and Legion but Legion was nerfed and I do love Spirit but she isn't a main right now as I am focusing on the other 3 for perks.
-
No, this means that if one Killer gets Gen rushed then the other Killer has 8 Survivors and that's not fair since those Survivors also get a temp immunity, more unbalanced than the average 2v8 idea.
-
I thank the Dves for making the game and continuing to make the game, it has def been one of my favorite games I've played in a long time. I care about it a lot, I've made friends because of it, it really helps with fueling my imagination for my books, and it's nice to have a game where I can play as a psychopath and murder people. Playing as the bad guy has always been something that is lacking in video games unless they make a watered down version of it like ''he's bad BUT HE'S STILL GEWD''.
I just hope that some of the stranger decisions they've been making LIKE with Legion and Ghostface stop very soon, like they get past this pattern they're doing with ridiculous balance decisions. That's really my only hope that I have for this game as everything else seems to be on it's way to getting fixed eventually.
Please Devs, stop making weird decisions to give stealth Killers very loud noises when we can already see them since all their cosmetics are very colorful.
Please stop making ''fast'' Killers really slow
Please stop making Killers with a weakness that is also their strength, it is very strange and illogical. I mean, if they were invisible and we could hear them then that would make sense. Yes I know this design was rolled back eventually but it was still something they decided to put into the character, it was intended for full release until it got bashed by the community.
-
When I play Legion I feel very slow when I use my power and I struggle to catch Survivors which is odd because I feel fast when I'm walking. The add-ons are bleh except for 2 of them, you NEED Duration and cool down but before the rework you needed Duration anyway. I don't enjoy playing Legion anymore, they're not the same, they're slow and struggle catch people, it doesn't even feel fun to tag Survivors anymore because my power isn't threatening. I love them but I don't enjoy being them anymore and that's ######### up because if they were real we'd be sick friends.
As a Survivor I am not afraid of them, I feel comfortable looping them and know that when they use their power I get a free escape every time and wonder why they're even using it. I can loop them like crazy and they're not intimidating to me anymore. OG Legion with 110% movement speed with NOED was scarier than the 115% with NOED, because they were slower and always used their power it was very scary to see a Legion member just walk up to you at the end game. ''What are they doing, why isn't she using her power, OH #########!'' But now that they are reworked you know their power is useless and if they walk up to you to hit you then they either have NOED or they're being smart and know not to use their power or you'll get away.
Legion CAN be fixed, they didn't need the huge nerf they got, sure they needed some fixing but they went too far with it. Legion should feel like an adrenaline fueled teen who's anxious but filled with a hot and heavy bloodlust to kill, they feel like they're superior and no one can stop them. We should feel that same way when we play them <3
-
I take long breaks from this game. It comes to a point that I look at this game, the community, and the devs decisions and I get so stressed, annoyed, and angry. When that happens I walk away and find something else but eventually make my way back because this game is fun and it looks like that ''hey maybe this time the game is going to go in a better healthier direction''. It doesn't usually go that way but still.
Right now I'm playing Hide or Die mostly but still playing and learning from other players on how to get better. I honestly want to see this game become something even better than it is but it may never happen, who knows it might.
I completely understand where you're coming from <3
-
I can totally see Dr. Phil chasing Survivors judging them and criticizing them as they t-bag and point, ''you're doing this for attention but the fact is I am only chasing you because I must, not because you're important''.

I don't think that camping a survivor, wasting two full minutes (or more if there's bt or ds), is remotely worth a 4% debuff, hell, it wasn't even worth it for dying light.
@YaiPa Exactly! Dying Light is ######### and no one uses it for this exact reason yet the Devs still wont change this perk.
-
Easy fix---bring back the old vault speed and FF speed then give us back the OG FF duration since it's redundant that we'll be using Duration add-ons anyway.
MY REWORK
Legion has 4 different members, every member you're not playing is hiding in a locker. When the match starts you have no TR or Red Stain and you're not wearing a mask, in this state you cannot attack and can only attack when you activate Legion. You put on your mask and can now use your FF which will mostly be the same but with minor differences such as NO DEEP WOUNDS. Your FF attack will injure but NEVER DOWN, when you attack with FF you see the Auras of other Survivors instead of blood swirls. Now I said earlier you have 4 members so when you're ready you can switch to another member and step out of a locker and once again have no TR or Stain and can't attack, each member starts this way and can only use it once.
Add-ons will be on hit with FF such as Mangled/hemorrhage, Blindness, Broken, Deep Wounds etc.
With this change Legion finally has synergy with Iron Maiden, when someone gets hit with FF Survivors know they can see Auras and will hide in lockers.
If Legion has NOED then they can switch to a member they haven't used yet and find Survivors near Exits then activate Legion and down them.
Legion can still Vault and do everything they can now with better add-ons that actually do something, they feel like an actual Legion with a 4v4 every match and even if you don't have Susie and Joey then you switch between Frank and Julie twice instead.
-
Yeah Pig or Spirit
For Pig use Discordance, Surveillance, Amanda's Secret on Lery's, sneak right up there and just grab them.
Spirit obviously use Prayer Beads.
If this trophy came out a long time ago I would have already had it lol
-
Killers can camp every Survivor to get that perma debuff, that's the only reason.
-
Gen rushing exists because Killers are not equipped to cause enough map pressure. That is why chasing 1 Survivor can cause 1 or 2 Gens to go off, the other Survivors are not pressured at all so they have complete freedom to do their Objective.
This game needs something to help equip the Killer to cause more havoc in the match and slow Gens, this is why Ruin is favored by most Killers.
In theory, Legion, Doctor, and Pig can tackle these problems and slow down the game but they each have their own major faults that still make them mid to low tier Killers.
I still believe having 2 other ways to open the Exits is what this game needs. Each match can randomly switch between repairing Gens and the other two options. It will create variety and the constant change can possibly keep Survivors on their toes as their strategy and their coordination could be dimmed.
-
@DBDbuildsYT I know right! XD What was I thinking LMAO! I really hope we get the glow in the dark green mask.
-
It is incredibly silly that a stealth Killer does not have any stealth outfits but this is my favorite one so far for him. I have a P3 GF so if I want to not be seen as much I wear that or the slicker but it would be nice to have 1 outfit that is made purely for stealth and not flash. I don't know, it can be still be flashy and stealthy it IS POSSIBLE.
I think I love this outfit so much because of Friday the 13th Jason Goes To Hell, the cover gives Jason a Chrome mask but he doesn't have one in the film and that really disappointed me so at least Ghostface has one now, so beautiful.
-
I also vote for Legion skins because these guys had crossbows, I mean we could get a Killer with a crossbow and since reload time is slow maybe they can have normal movement speed?
-

I hope we get a comprehensive report on what can be stacked and what is pointless to stack.
@DudeDelicious I hope so too because I'm not sure if Thana stacks with Swing Chains since the add-on says ''up to Tremendously''. I'm assuming they get both percentages anyway since they originate from different sources but I'm weary about it.
-
@DudeDelicious I refuse to play Plague unless I have that Uncommon Potion for Purge effectiveness, I can play with or without the movement speed add-on but I prefer it. Playing without the effectiveness add-ons feels like it takes too long to break them.
