Aftercare. I've gotten so much value seeing where my teammates are being chased or which gen they are doing.
Also in endgame its valuable for the people to see my aura if im opening an exit gate or if im running to them to take a protection hit.

if you get the axe in the back, then you just go square one and run away yourself.
you are given about 10 seconds of running in a straight line to make it to anything.
and even if you get grabbed, then you have successfully prevented a tunnel out and did a delayed trade.
it's a non issue. you are complaining about a mediocre 2 tap killer just because he does it in a fancy way. and unlike a lot of other 2 tap killers he doesnt get to do it again immediately on the other survivor, he only gets to do it once on one target.
Why is it ok that this killer can teleport to hooks and have no slowdown?
Alien gets slowdown if they return to hooks where someone is hooked. Dredge cannot teleport to nearby lockers when someone is hooked. Single Larry slows down heavily if he tries to teleport back to hooks. Why is it ok for this killer to have no slowdown or cooldown? Is it because its FNAF?
i'm not saying there arent stronger killers than this bunnyman, all im saying is that there are few issues that could be fixed.

it's not much different than huntress and arguably worse because he doesnt get another hatchet for follow up.
it's not an issue, just bodyblock if he goes for that
Whoever bodyblocks gets the axe in the back and grabbed in 1 second. THIS is the problem with the killer. You cannot escape that grab because he becomes faster without the axe. This killers camping and tunneling abilities are too great. I see this happen WAY too much and honest im sick of seeing this overgrown bunnyman and them camping the hooks.
I think he should be slowed down like huntress and his doors needs to be further away from gens. When someone is hooked the doors nearby shouldn't work, like with dredge. He cannot teleport to nearby lockers.

Do not start to put words into my mouth. Unless "Words" is another name for a chocolate cake.
Nurse and Blight have made the debate for a long time now. People keep calling to nerf / action about them. I never said I was part of them.
I was stating a fact. Low-mobility killers like the Trapper, the Executioner, the Doctor, … lose a lot of time finding and chasing survivors because they… have low mobility. All that wasted time goes directly in survivors' pocket. This is even stronger in complex maps with different floors.
Everyone knows time is gold in the game (even is gold is not worth a damn in this place), so people tend to play killers that can greatly reduce this loss of time. Which lead to teleport / dash killers that can quickly rush to objectives and easily chase their target.
So Nurse, as Blight, as Animatronic, as Ghoul, … have the ability to apply way more pressure over survivors than other basic killers, because they have way less patrolling / chasing time, during which survivors are supposed to repair.
End of the fact.
That is true, but what would you do about it? Nerf all the fast killers to M1 speeds or boost the M1 and lower mobility killers to blight and ghoul levels?
I rather play the faster killers because playing on slow M1 killer on bigger maps is miserable.. and 4.4 killers are even worse.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Survivors can make progress in their game when the killer is not. Someone is chased, you can do gens. When he is patrolling near sides you are not, you can do gens.
The Ghoul completely prevents that, like any other TP / dash killers, because he can quickly go from a gen to another. Which is not that annoying during the first minutes, but as gens are being done, he has less and less places to cover. Until the moment you cannot do any gen if he is not in chase.
That is his strongest ability and, in a time when everyone is already mad at Blight and Nurse, that is just putting oil over fire.
So does this mean we should nerf every teleporting / dashing killers or is this just purely hate towards Ghoul?
Blight is stronger than ghoul and just as fast. Nurse is stronger than ghoul and doesnt care about walls or pallets. Unknown can teleport from one side of the map to another and has ranged injuring ability. Springtrap can teleport straight to gens or hide in a door next to a gen… should i go on?
let's just nerf every killer survivors have to do more than camp pallets against..
-
Don't like him, but i don't like FNAF at all.
I also think the camping and tunneling abilities this killer has are little too great.
Move the doors further from the gens.
Lower his speed when he is holding the axe up, like huntress.
Don't allow him to teleport near hooked survivor. Everytime i see them returning to hooks..Throwing axe to someones back and insta grab them, its boring and people call ghoul talentless?
-
Only problem that ghoul has is the bug which people call kidnap tech. Fix that and ghoul is fine.
I have no issues of looping them, its like trickster for me, you get ghoul on open map and you have no walls..i'm dead, its the same with trickster pretty much.
use walls and good loops and you are fine. Its just 1 free hit and after that he can't down you with the tentacle.
I would say the worst killer for me atm is springtrap. The fact that he can hold his stupid axe and just walk is annoying me, and the doors hugging gens.
-
Skull merchant didn't get nerfed because of the DCs. She got nerfed because behaviour realised her unhealthy playstyle and her extremely high killrate.
if behaviour starts nerfing killers due to DC rate then well.. i guess every killer is screwed, because i see dcs happen against pig and trapper too. Survivors DC against everyone and because of everything.
That being said i still haven't had anyone dc against me when i play ghoul… and i play her a lot.
-
Yeah. Been having this issue since yesterday. Would be nice to know whats causing this?
-
I feel like playing killer 1 mistake is more costly than on survivor. When i play survivor i can moonwalk, have fun with other survivors and still win pretty easily ( depending on killer of course and map ).
As a killer i have no time for goofy stuff, unless the survivors are clearly newish, when usually i do release my leg from the speed and let them experience the game before i kill them.
Also the toxicity. I feel like when i play killer i get it way more often than when i play survivor. Because of this ive started to play this game on anynomous mode. I got pretty tired of the horrible comments i got in my steam profile, didnt matter if i won or lost quite often someone had something extremely nasty to say.
-
First survivor main: Heavy mouth breathing sounds.
Second survivor main: Should have higher heels.
First killer main: WAH! Also family seems to have real pointy and flowy hairstyles.
Second killer main: Coffee is life.

An event should not be "sided" to begin with tho. :/
Like I get it, some of them have been Survivor-sided, but I dont really see that as a valid excuse, instead events should be pushed to be fun AND fair for both sides.
Hey i'm all for balance, but lets face the fact many of the past events and even 2v8 is very survivor sided.
I would love them to give us balanced events but it doesnt seem to be happening.

For the past 3 years almost every event has been killer sided. Last year's anniversary was so killer sided the kill rate stood at a whopping 73%. This data was released by Behaviour themselves. But keep gaslighting everyone. People aren't asking for a survivor sided event, people are just merely asking for balance, where both sides can have fun.
Sure sure..
-
Most events have been survivor sided, so lets let the killers have this 1 thing.
Yeah it sucks. I have gotten tunneled multiple times and i mean 5 gen tunneled multiple times. Yeah it sucks that we mostly see that build you meantioned on the killers, but it is the strongest gen defense build there is, cant blame them for using it.
Mostly my biggest issue is the 5 gen tunneling. I don't mind dying in a game if i get to play the game but im not sure if we have newer players or whats going on.

The problem we're going to see now are bad survivors artificially inflating MMR due to upcoming integrated features in Phase 2 QoL. We have yet to receive detailed information what the features are going to be but I read a leak somewhere that BHVR is going to add basekit Unbreakable and Tenacity to Chaos Shuffle that's arriving soon.
I can only assume that we're getting basekit Decisive Strike from Anti-Tunneling feature and I'm not sure about Anti-Camp. I guess we get basekit Unbreakable first then basekit Tenacity where it says 'Continued improvements' next to Anti-Slugging.
If this happens im taking a break. I'm so done with these tunneling posts when half of the survivor population doesn't even know what tunneling is. They yell tunneling when theres 1 gen left and killer wants to get a kill and has to hook you twice in a row.
They yell tunneling when they themselfs start bodyblocking you after getting unhooked.
They yell slugger when you down a survivor seeing theres someone next to them with a flashlight or just hovering and you go after that survivor having to slug this other person. They yell slugger while they play boil over, power struggle etc etc sabo builds.
i am so DONE seeing these topics, when half of you would yell tunneler and slugger when it's not actually tunneling and slugging. Can we just agree that when there is few gens left and killer needs to kill it is OK to actually maybe perhaps tunnel a person out to get some pressure. Some survivors actually are ok in this game and not every killer will "easymode" themselfs to victory..
- Also this wasnt towards you who i quoted on this post btw.. the first line was only for you. ❤️
SIGH…😰

If you use the bulk BP spending feature, you get the normal amount of cakes. That's what I've been doing on my P100's.
DIdn't work for me. I used another 2 mil with bulk BP spending and got 8 cakes. Same happens to killers btw.
-
It sucks cause i'd like to play on my P100 main characters and give cakes, but i dont wanna waste millions of bloodpoints for 6 cakes.

I did bulk BP spending on Springtrap for 3 prestige levels... It seems like results drastically vary.
Is your springtrap p100? Problem seems to be with P100 characters.
-
I spend 2 million bloodpoints on Ada and got 17 cakes… this has to be a joke right? I spent 3 million on Sable who isn't P100 and she got almost 100.
Please fix.
-
No she's not unplayable, didnt say she was, but everyone who mains her or plays her enough knows she relies on hearing. Her being 110 well her normal chase is kinda butts, you need phasing.
Also why play someone who gets hindered when you can play someone like Kaneki who doesnt right :)
-
@TimberGoingDown said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3951502#Comment_3951502
Oh, yeah. I'll probably just use Kaneki now. I won't be bringing any BP offerings, though, since I'll be buying them for Spirit, and I can't use Spirit, which means fewer BP for everyone involved. And I won't be playing nice or farming. I think I'll go out of my way to make the experience as miserable for survivors as I can. If I can't have fun, neither can they.
I have 3 mains i play mostly so im good playing Rize and some Dracula but it is frustrating that spirit gets kinda screwed with these things. Like people are saying she's not unplayable but why play a character that has things hindering her performance when you can choose someone that doesnt rely on hearing.
-
I'll just play Rize then.. Sucks indeed not being able to play your main properly.

I think that the only killers that make sense being 110% on a gameplay perspective are Hag and Spirit. Hag because she doesn't need to chase in the first chase, and Spirit because her power is a universally good antiloop. Deathslinger, Huntress, and Chucky should not be slower, specially since they don't have any map pressure in the first place and their chase powers aren't that crazy in the first place. I guess Chucky made some sense when he has Scamper, but since they removed that his chase doesn't justify the slower movement speed anymore.
I guess if they buffed these killers in other ways the 5% reduces movement speed wouldn't be that terrible, since I suppose that if they had as good of a chase and macro as Artist or Blight they would be viable regardless, but as it stands it feels like an unnecessary hindrance.
Disagree on the spirit. Her addons got heavy nerfed and she isnt as strong as everyone makes her out to be. Dracula can do what she can do without being 110. Her cooldowns got nerfed too. Actually Dracula can do more than she can without being 110. Spirits biggest enemy is pallets and Dracula can shoot over those.
Also now behaviour is releasing more and more quiet survivors and maps have a lot of extra sounds..and dont even get me talking about lery's map and the sounds the middle does. Sounds being all over the place in this game anyways doesn't help spirit one bit atm.
-
I haven't had any issues. I haven't gotten crows once yet, maybe because i don't hide much.
I don't try to kill myself on first hook and ruin the game for 3 others so not being able to do that hasn't bothered me.
I don't really see many " face camping " killers, and wiggling shouldnt give you easy escape from the killers grasp. Oh i remember the days when survivors sent killers to old RPD with their boil over builds. It was fun slugging them up in the library.
My escape rate from 73 matches is almost 50% and with another character from 28 matches its 53% so i really don't see the issue. These rates i got from their official tracker. Wish the site would update more often.
-
It seems our oversized bunnyman has few bugs that are quite bad. Yesterday i got hit by one that wasnt even facing me.. yes his butt was towards me and his axe flew to my forehead.
I'm guessing he is throwing bumerangs.
-
It was getting a bit tiredsome to be sent to maps survivors knew they could win more easily. It was happening almost every match.
It got so bad i had to actually stop offering cakes and streamers and use wards to not being sent to badham.
Just remove map offers at this point and rework mirror Myers so he can still be played without map offers. I enjoy going against mirror Myers and i feel bad that they got kinda screwed over by this.
-
Only problems i have with springtrap is the fact that the doors are hugging the gens and the camping possibilities he has with the instant pull of axe from the back move.
I can loop the killer just fine but the fact that he teleports right next to a gen is tiredsome and you can't react to it most of the times in time. He will get a free hit.
Ive been camped multiple times by springtraps and when someone comes to save they hit the axe on them and just YOINK them. This is especially effective in basement stairs.
Other than that im just tired of seeing them in every game.
-
Huntress. I just feel so slow playing her and missing a hatchet feels horrible. Used to main her for a long time but i just got frustrated.
-
Skullmerchant and Single Larry (singularity).
I just don't like anything about skullmerchant never did never will, and single larrys tunneling + camping with the blobs and them being everywhere gets me annoyed.

You added an entire second paragraph. You can check your original post because I quoted it when I responded to you in this message:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3940976#Comment_3940976
You are adding a tired and disproven killer talking point that survivors give up because of non-game related, immature reasons. This is simply just not true for the majority of cases. If you would have had that in your post originally, I would have talked about it. But in editing afterwards, my response will now be taken out of context. Thankfully, I noticed.
I have survivors giving up EVERY single day for stupid reasons. I mostly play survivor now and people give up when they are found first or the killer doesnt please them. Its constant and it hurts us as a team and we end up losing because someone starts raging at 5 gens and gives up.
I've also lately had plenty of trolls. They load into the game and drop every single pallet or just stand doing nothing following the killer being a menace.
I added it into my post because it happens almost daily if not daily. I don't see anything wrong with adding something into a post i forgot to put there afterwards.
Anyways i'm not going to keep talking about this. If you play killer as much as you say good for you, if your matches are always easy and you always get 1k at least again good for you. I personally don't believe that is true. This forum is filled with survivor mains who only see the game from survivor side and are extremely hostile in their answers and extremely biased without seeing the other sides point of views at all. You came across as someone like that in your post thats why i answered.
The downvotes of every killer supportive message is prove of this.

What you choose to believe and what the facts are are two different things lol. Killers are awarded at least 1 pity kill if they know how to play the game. If you are getting 1 or 2 hooks before endgame that's a skill issue, or you're playing pig/myers/onryo. Every killer B tier and above can get at least 1 kill for free, that's how the majority of the community feel.
Having a one off game every 1 in 20 matches isn’t killer "struggling" to keep up with survivor, it's one match where the killer had a one off game.
Just because I'm pointing out killer bias, which is the topic of this thread and my criticism, doesn't mean I also don't acknowledge the issues with killer. I dislike how certain killers require slowdown while others don't need to run it. But at that point, it's a core issue with the game design and less of a killer problem.
Lets just agree to disagree.. Hope your games go well and enjoy the incoming anniversary event.

I am iri 1 killer and survivor every month. I can call out the hypocrisy of killer only mains while also playing killer.
Yet you are purely biased on survivor side. Hmm.. i play both sides as well, and i can see issues on BOTH sides. Killers arent awarded a pity 1 kill per match eather. I have matches where i get 1-2 hooks sometimes and so does many other killers out there. Even killers with thousands of hours struggle in some matches.
It is easier to get 4k though if someone ragequits on first hook just because the colour of the grass was wrong. Or DCs and gives me a bot. So yeah i do think the kills on hooks are counted in kill rates and they are making them look a bit better than they actually are.

Every killer main forgets that bhvr disables almost every second chance perk in end game, guaranteeing at least 1 kill out of pity. Every map has become smaller, thus lowering the need for gen regression, yet they bring 4 anyway. Almost every decent tile with a window has now been replaced with a garbage replacement of two pallets next to a tree. I'd consider that killer hand holding.
Every time I see a killer main complain about "the UI is hand holding" or "base kit BT is hand holding" I can't help but laugh. The UI was added to bridge the gap between swf and solo queue. That way perks can be balanced in a way where it doesn't feel like SWF has a massive advantage over solo queue (have killers already forgotten that whole line of criticism?). Base kit BT I laugh even more because any killer who genuinely complains about it has never once seriously played survivor for anything other than tome challenges.
Tell me you don't play killer without telling me you don't play killer… Sigh i hate this absolute one sided way of thinking.
-
I dont like FNAF or anything related to it, but i am looking forward to the bulk bloodpoint spending and the go next preventation. The hook suiciding is getting out of control and im glad its finally getting looked at.
I'll be playing my spirit and Rize while everyone else is playing springtrap i guess 😂
-
I wish the toxicity stayed only in the game but i've had many survivors take it on my steam profile even. I'm saying survivors since i havent had 1 killer type nasty stuff on my steam profile.
It sucks that i have to play on anon or make my steam profile so people can't write comments because people can't stop being jerks. I usually only comment positive things on peoples profiles. To give them a +rep or a <3 for being an awesome teammate or survivor to go against, or being a wholesome killer or just giving us a great match.

Being unable to comfortably burn bloodpoint offerings because the moment I take off my Sacrificial Ward I get immediately sent to Azarov/The Game/Eyrie/RPD by survivors.
I feel this. Sacrificial ward is must need nowdays unless you want to go to survivors favorite bouncycastle.
Auto Aim. I feel like its gotten worse. In 2v8 i keep getting + 10 wood and + 10 stone all the time even though im directly aiming to the survivor…makes me look at the sky in frustration.
-
I personally don't like hard tunneling which is concentrating on 1 person until they are dead, but tunneling is such a broad term nowdays i feel like survivors yell tunneler no matter what now.
There are also times when i do "tunnel" .
- You get unhooked but you start bodyblocking me with your off the record, DS and DH. I will tunnel your butt back to the hook. Run away from me instead to me.
- Im running out of time and i need to put pressure back to the survivors.
- Survivors are just nasty.. ( this can mean anything).
- I can't find anyone else but you are out in the open doing gen or healing after being unhooked and i happen to find you.
I agree if you always heavy tunnel from 5 gens you do hinder your ability to learn, but i am so tired of hearing about tunneling and camping nowdays when theres so many perks and helps against that.
As long as maps are big, survivors spawn straight to gens, theres perks and toolboxes that help gens go by faster and strong loops and weaker killers, tunneling will always happen.
I know im going to get a lot of downvotes for this post…im already fully aware forum is quite hateful anything killer positive, but i do play more survivor nowdays, but i can see things from both sides. Im not heavily biased on eather side.
-
This has been happening me a lot. I had to queue an hour yesterday due to getting DCed again around 30 minute mark.
-
Its more survivor sided. I've noticed i have harder time if theres many guides. Gens go so fast killers can't keep up, + all those god pallet loops.
Its a fun gamemode though so im still having fun playing killer even if i lose.
-
Ok these abandon scenarious are really unfair for the killer.
If survivors aren't doing anything but hiding in corners or in lockers why is it a loss for the killer? That seems really messed up and backwards.
If killer manages to do their job and actually win the game, but survivors are unhappy and can't wait and DC, its a draw? Again really messed up.
Haste stacking… I don't want to be gloom and doom thinker but the new perk Duty of Care + Hope in endgame. Goodluck catching anyone killers. I for sure will be running these 2 perks together.

Managing gen speeds isn't just about perks in the modern state of the game, a lot of it comes from having good fundamentals and being able to spread pressure effectively.
One of the things I notice a lot of killers struggle with is downtime between chases, IE, a lot of time spent either looking for a survivor or trying to kick gens or something. Maybe that's something you could look at?
I don't kick gens. Don't have time for that. Mostly i get destroyed by survivors being really good at looping.
-
I took a 3 month break from the game and came back few weeks back. I don't really play killer in the new bloodmoon event because i dont hate myself enough to do that, but i've also noticed that generators go pretty fast in normal mode.
I don't play with 4 gen defenses so maybe its my fault, but i just find it boring. I normally have 1-2 gen defense and 1 chase and 1 aura or 2 aura perks. I just simply can't keep up with game speed anymore.
Sadly if survivors are even semi decent in this game playing for 12 hooks is not possible anymore. You can do that against survivors that arent good at looping and are lost in the sauce sure but good or decent survivors will destroy you.
I'm not sure how they will balance this.
Also i try to play as fair as possible in my games. Sadly survivors tend to tunnel themselfs by bodyblocking me when im trying to go after someone who unhooked.

I’m a huge fan of being the change you want to see. The above people have demonstrated a willingness to be that change while remaining their authentic selves. I see Dbd reflected in every single person listed and on this forum. These people will give you the best that they have to offer. Why not match that passion and be the change you want the dbd community to become? Why not? It can happen. They can help you get there.
I wanted to thank @For_The_People for being the first person from the forums that I’ve ever played Dbd with. He is a very sweet person who will give you his time of day in earnest if you need him to. He’s one of the prime examples of politeness in this community. Thank you for being a positive force in the community. 😊😊😊
Lastly I need to thank @solarjin1 . What can I say? When you meet a friend that gets you, you both just know it. Her courage to be funny and humorous is so infectious. She told me that the small pallet in rpd was the most op pallet. I was so naive of game knowledge that I believed her! LMAO! After that I realized that it was anything goes when it came to humor with her. I’m at my best when I can be silly. Solarjin1 is that friend who brings out the best in me. Thank you Solarjin1 for all the laughs and for the laughs to come 😂 I’m going to be collecting🤣🤣🤣
None of this would be possible if we didn’t have a phenomenal community team here to support us discussing this twisted hobby we all have. Thank you again to everyone at Bhvr for putting your hearts and souls (ha!) into everything that is Dbd.

Let’s just use blood instead 🩸😈🩸
Happy Holidays everyone, I hope everyone stays safe and has a wonderful New Years 😊🎉
Thank you for your kind world. I know my reply comes little late since ive been inactive playing other games and relaxing, but i hope you had an awesome christmas, and i hope everyone on this forum has the best news years as well.
Lets try to make the community a better place together, even if it takes time! We can better this game by bettering ourselfs.
Merry christmas everyone and Happy new years. I will hopefully see some of you in the fog <3

The sound bug that affects her AoT skin?
I mean her husk still moans while you phase out this happens in many cosmetic, and sounds sometimes come out completely wrong. I hear someone right infront of me just to find them 300 meters away, Survivors have no footstep sounds sometimes even without lightfooted. I dunno those are the issues ive noticed, ive seen many spirit mainers say they have some audio issues as well. Also the constant sounds in 2v8 aint doing any favors for a killer that has to hear things.
I've heard that one way to fix the sound issues that she has is to turn down your FOV…which sucks by itself already.

I haven’t played her to see but I did face a Spirit. She was with an AFK Nurse. Got a 1K. Probably would have been better if her teammate wasn’t dead weight.
I only played her yesterday and she's still plagued by sound issues and the hard counters with medic and scout are pretty effective against her. Some of the spirit mainers have already said she's horrible to play in 2v8.
-
I played 9 killer games yesterday. With the 15 minute queue times and games lasting only 5 minutes i got frustrated.
I played spirit in all 9 games since she's my main killer and im ok with her not the best not the worst. We lost 7 out of those 9 games. In 2 games i got partnered with a " weaker " killer meaning less experienced but other matches my partner was really good, and yet.. we lost. Why we played fair. Playing fair in this mode is not going to give you kills. Even potato survivors are escaping due to fast heals and extremely fast gens.
I played 2 survivor games. i escaped both of them, both of them were landslide wins for the survivor. I got bored since survivor didn't feel fun. It was too easy.
I'm not sure i'm going to play after ive gotten my tome done which is sad since i absolutely loved this mode last time. I love playing killer with someone else and not pull my hair out in 1v4 since. I love sharing the burden with someone else, but the buffs that survivors got went way too overboard and i don't wanna queue 15 minutes into a game and lose in 5. I also don't enjoy tunneling and slugging people. but i feel like thats what has to happen to get wins.

I had to stop after playing 9 games. The queue times arent worth the 5 minute games. I won only 2 games out of those 9. I played spirit in every match and i won with deathslinger and blight as a teammate. Even those 2 matches were very close ones and we were hooking constantly. I tried injuring people as much as i could but the healing is bit too fast as well i feel like.
I agree playing fairly in this mode as a killer..you'll just eat bags at exit gate.

I don’t think the gens can really tamper more with gen speeds with Hillbilly, Blight, and Spirit in the game. They’re top-tier killers alone and together a force to be reckoned with.
Spirit suffers in this mode quite a bit. Medic has ability to lose scratch marks and scout has built in iron will. Both counter her very well. So far i've not seen spirit perform as good as people think.

Gens be flying and they removed insta hooking so… Tunneling and bleeding will be more common now. I've played now 7 games and the gen speeds and the buffs survivors got are ridiculous.
