Think about what you are asking here, a DC means you just get whatever objective from the archive or daily you were trying to get?
So if a killer DC's they are like Santa and just give the survivors everything they were trying for in 1 game?
I find too many people dcing when someone is doing an escape challenge or the rancor challenge is a good example, so yes, I think they should count.

Spine Chill is not underrated anymore, tons of people have started using it in my experience and I see people here call it good, if we’re talking underrated then let’s talk about diversion or distortion.

Does PS4 not have dedicated servers yet? Cause if it does, then as long as they got onto a server, they're at the top of the queue and all you've done is waste your own time.
It does have dedicated servers.

I think it’s fine as is.

That's really neat so you have only two killers left until you are done and yea I also have the same problem think it's the completionist in me, but I can't stop doing the prestige on all my killers all the way, it's definitely a waste of blood points. Though it makes me feel good after I finish them, I only have pig and clown left, but I think I should start saving up for the next killer.
I’ve decided to not prestige killers anymore but admittedly I do like prestiging survivors, I hope you complete your goal soon! :)

Not related to the post, but how many killers do you have left to level up or do you have all of them lvl 50 already.
My LF, Doc, Huntress and legion are at 50, Trapper, Wraith, Clown and Nurse are close. I mostly play Doc and clown rn. I’m currently attempting to upgrade my killers and put proper builds on all of them, I had a lot of killers at 50 but for some reason I decided to prestige them, lol.

Demo is actually pretty good if played right.

I’d like to contest as I’m a rank one killer.

Jake and David

Dcs should count in my opinion.
-
Feng
-
Infectious and corrupt are pretty equal for me but corrupt is more consistent.

Lucky break needs tweaks, no mither needs a bp boost and rework boil over. The rest are underrated.

I’d use it on Huntress.

I’m not quite sure what exactly you’re asking with these options, regardless, I like playing killer.

I love both as survivor and hate both as killer.

Bunny Feng, Unicorn Jumpsuit Feng, Disco Feng and Neon Roller Skate Feng.

The only reason to play clown is Mr.Puddles.

Play normally.

Aside from flashlight saves, when else would you use them? It’s not toxic to use an item.

Yes I am.

Have you done the challenges?

Thanks @Yamaoka
My most reliably consistent Clown build is Distressing, Coulrophobia, Blood Hound, Sloppy Butcher. I sometimes interchange Distressing with Bamboozle.
I’m a big believer that Clown is best used as a rush down killer. I.e. gen pressure by proxy because regular direct gen pressure never goes particularly well with Clown even with relevant perks.
Frequently engaging in, and ending chases fast is Clown’s greatest advantage. My build compliments this by either making healing difficult, or discouraging healing all together, thus making ending future chases with injured survivors even faster.
Edit: I’d like to add that even if survivors do engage in frequently healing they’re going to waste a TON of time doing so. This helps with stall.
Thank you :)

How did you get that already? Did you pay to tier up?
No, I just play too much.

How is that bragging?
@topic: I'm no Clown main (well, in fact I still play exclusively Bubba) but since Clown can slow down survivors fairly easily you could try Spirit Fury even without Enduring as they can't build a whole lot of distance depending on your addons. Just an idea. Maybe combined with something "unimpressive" like Brutal Strength. Obviously something for gen defense like Pop Goes The Escape and Thrilling Tremors. Brutal Strength synergizes with Pop, the Clown's bottles and Spirit Fury and Pop synergizes with Thrilling (especially if you down a survivor trying to finish a gen aggressively next to you).
Perhaps @DudeDelicious has a good build for you considering he's one of the few certified Clown experts

K, but if for real, I believe an Endgame build would be good on the Clown.
BBQ + Remember Me + NOED + BloodWarden. If survivors are solo, NOED is still there and there are 3 of them left, they are DEAD.

The best things you can do for Clown are chase builds, or gen slowdown builds.
The most success I've had with him is the classic slug build.
Knockout, Sloppy, Thana and perhaps BBQ or another tracking perk.
Thanks

I was also asking for clown builds.

The play some other game? I dunno, being able to 4 man on comms and strategically plan your game while the killer is alone and have to try and stay sane while dealing with all of you is so tiring.
No, we’re gonna play dbd.

@HYthinger said:
The thing is.....the only possible way to derank as survivor is to absolutly anihilate the killer which i think is kinda bs. As killer u pretty much derank if u dont get a 4k (red ranks)
If you get tunneled then you can de-pip or if you are face camped.

I’m being a drama queen anyway.
Now I’m taking a break from Clown and focusing on Doc again I’m wiping the floor with a flood of sorry Rank 1 survivors.
He seems to be pretty good at that so far.
-
@BulletsNonstop said:
it’s too easy to find survivors and ring them up. I’m not even getting my 2nd hook struggle sometimes it just auto kills. Not sure if it’s a bug. Killers are fast if they got rid of pallet looping there has to be ways of stunning killers repeatedly to get them off your tail. Why play if you’re inevitably going to get caught and can’t shake them via an effective enough stun or loops?
None of us want loops removed, we want them to be less safe because a lot of them actually are just too safe.

From what I remember and please correct me if I am wrong but:
Doctor from what I remember is above average when it comes to pipping as he can only get m1 hits(The hit survivors with primary emblem) and can both get into chases while ending them quickly by stunning survivors at pallets with his power(For the chaser emblem).
Effectively the emblem system is baised towards tracking/Basic attackers killers due to 2 emblem rewarding you for both of those while one effectively punishes you for using "instant downs"(Either grabs/exposed/broken).
Legion breaks it as him hitting people with his power is actually weighted so his hit and runs don't count as lost chases and as normal hits(Even though they don't count as normal hits for perks).
I’m not 100% sure on the legion part but you’re correct about Doc being above average at pipping, I however have also made R1 with several other killers (hag and trapper are some examples).
-
Map design is my only problem really, some maps have too many strong loops or main buildings that can last three gens easily every chase. Main building should be less safe and loops that prove to be too strong should rightfully be nerfed.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
...except for any killer below purple being constantly matched against red. That makes anything higher than safety pipping challenging AF!
Matchmaking being bugged on either side would obviously hurt your potential, that isn’t a problem with the ranking system necessarily though but more so a matchmaking issue.

Because killer's pips depends on the killer:
Its near impossible to rank up as the plague with using her power even with perfect games.
While with legion you can rank up by doing effectively anything with 0 kills.
Killer's ranks are not weighted properly so that statement is entirely dependent on the killer your using.
I play Doctor.
@McLightning said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1066269#Comment_1066269
That sounds like a personal problem, and doesn't refute what I said. You have to accomplish significantly more to pip, in red ranks, as killer, than you do survivor.
So you’re basically saying that people finding killer harder to pip as is just their personal problem then? Obviously that isn’t what you said but I can very easily apply the same logic to “killer being harder to pip on”.
-
@McLightning said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1066255#Comment_1066255
Good for you, so am I. That doesn't stop the fact that it is considerably easier to pip as a survivor than it is as killer when you hit red ranks.
Then why do I de-pip as survivor more than killer?
-
@McLightning said:
At start, no, neither side is. But when you get to red ranks, the requirements to pip are actually quite a bit different between killer and survivor in terms of difficulty.
I’m sitting at R1 on both sides, it isn’t difficult.

The power of chase perks depends on the environment/map. Sometimes it's better to reach a strong zone or leave a weak zone than to simply increase your loop count by 1 or get to the pallet/window just barely out of reach. With a lot of strong loops in circulation right now, I would say Dead Hard is comparatively weak. Then again, it's also based very much on preference and many are divided on whether or not BL is the best exhaustion perk in the game still.
Everybody has their opinions about exhaustion perks so we can agree to disagree.

Love playing against:
1) Spirit
2) Huntress
3) Nurse
Hate playing against:
1) Pig
2) Peppa Pig
3) Still piggy
Love playing with:
1) Doctor (his rework made him pretty darn fun.)
2) Legion
3) Wraith
Hate playing with:
1) Oni
2) Demodoggo
3) Freddy

It is the second weakest in literal distance you can acquire, which is important for extending chases in a lot of environments. It is very versatile though, unlike other "meta" perks.
But dead hard quite often makes the difference of reaching that pallet/window.

How is it the second weakest?

What a shame that I'm still sitting on over 100 Gateaus on my Clown because his bugs with his bottle have still persisted for over 6 months and some of them ever since his release and have never gotten fixed.
They fixed his bottles making a permanent hissing sound though. So I guess he's all better and good as new, now. *shrug*
I haven’t noticed that often when I play clown, sole survivor however currently does nothing and has done nothing for awhile. Don’t know why you’re trying to have a competition though.
