Its up to the killer really. But there are unbeatable players with unbeatable builds. Iri head Zubat wins 100%
I think if the survivors are god tier then it wouldn’t be unbeatable.

I’m conflicted on dead hard and sprint burst, so I’ll vote for both.

I find it difficult to envision even bad killer players losing using Iridescent Head Huntress or Basement-Build Trapper for example.
I’ve escaped both of those a lot

I don't have any official stats, but I have my own.
I've been writing down my games by hand, about 25 of them.
DS appeared in all but one of them. Curiously, there wasn't a game where everyone had it.
Adrenaline appeared in only 6 games. I was super surprised.
Dead Hard was in 15.
Prove Thyself was in 20, but we all know that isn't normal, it's just because of the Ruin nerf.
What about self-care? I’ve heard it’s the most popular.

No he wouldn’t. He knows he’s Daddy. He would say “Come to Papa” while wearing that delicious hospital gown of his.
If he did say that... I’d have to comply... :P

Maybe your experience is different, but from my experience that would make you the exception, not the rule.
It is of course, good for stealth and everyone has a different experience. I usually find a decent mix of stealthy and aggressive survivors.

Just a nitpick, I have a gripe with the "aggressive play is meta" comment. Sure, maybe for content creators and stuff, but half (if not more) of the survivors I find in my red rank games are immersed Spine Chill/Urban Evasion gamers. Since that's probably the easiest way to rank up, I'd call that the "meta".
Just a nitpick, I run spine chill and I’m quite an aggressive survivor.
-
@FleshTorpedo said:
If you really want to get better, play the killer for awhile. Its the easiest way to learn their mechanics especially on killers with addons that can drastically change their gameplay.
That’s more helpful than “git gud”.

But their feedback won't solve his problem while "gittin' gud, while the guds gittin" will. 😉
It’d be easier to learn if people actually helped them, honestly, saying git gud instead of actually telling someone how to play against X makes me think you don’t know yourself.

Git gud, Is advice. Not particularly helpful advice, but still advice. But rather than call for nerfs they could learn the games/killer base mechanics.
They’re posting their feedback, which is still more helpful than saying “git gud”.
-
How is self-care frustrating to play against? It’s not a bad perk but at least survivors are healing.

ur answer make it easier reflexion for me
adrenaline, dead hard and ds need a nerf because it's used for a 80% survivors on red rank.
Show me some official stats saying those perks are used by 80% of red rank survivors.
-
Ruin was used by 45% of players and 80% of red rank players. Please show me your official stats on how much Dead hard is used.
-
Huntress is the most balanced killer in this game, you just need to pay attention to her.
-
Wraith and Bubba are pretty underrated.

It is because my two others teammate escape with a key so no EGC.
Then you need video evidence since that is reportable.

If other people were alive then the game could end, so it wasn’t holding the game hostage.

Personally, I find whispers to be good only on doctor, and even at tier 3, your wasting your time looking for one survivor just because your perk proc and thrilling tremors you waste half of the time picking up the survivor and hooking them, because the perk does not proc when hooking them, and of course the long cool down makes the perk worse.
I find whispers pretty nice on any killer.
-
Whispers and thrilling tremors are strong though.

3 ebony mori kills while insidious-camping resulting in emblem penalty and 1 DC = you obviously "won" BUT those were cheesy kills which is why the ranking system won't let you pip that way for your own safety as good survivors will destroy "cheesy strategies" any day of the week.
As for some survivors/their perks that you listed as sweaty:
- the person with Object of Obsession was obviously meme-ing. His first perk was No Mither. Might as well call it the "kill me - I'm over here - and injured" meme build.
- self care helps the killer more than it helps survivors. Many killer wins are the result of people self caring in a corner instead of working on gens while injured.
- and spine chill is just a beginner perk that's only useful against stealth killers and maybe Spirit to a small degree.
Also, the person with no mither is using iron will with it so they can counter Stridor.

Well it clearly didn't help them here. So I have to give this one to you.
They should BUFF Spine Chill, and Self Care.
Give Spine Chill the ability to see the Killer's aura, through the whole match. At 10,000m.
Give Self Care - instant heal. The same one they took from med-kits.
Hmmmm seems fair. 😉

Spine chill and self-care really aren’t that bad, of course playing injured is more efficient but at least this way I’m not wasting multiple peoples time.
-
He seems fine to me, not sure which tier though.
-
I play both sides at rank 1 but also play survivor more.

They aren’t playing completely optimal, they also usually end up getting hit because they don’t drop them early.

I don’t dodge so don’t worry.

nah, i agree. its most def a gimmicky meme build.
but like if you hook someone end game, the person that unhooks is now the obsession. insta down from rancor. remember me stacks will prevent the gates from opening fast (kinda), youll have a lot of info with the obsession swapping + rancor.
i feel like it would just be a fun build. the kind where you dont expect it to work, but IF IT DID THO... would be pretty sweet.
im just tired of running sweaty builds. kinda just wanna have fun
It sounds like it’d be fun if you get it to work

It’s interesting but I don’t think it’ll preform well. Won’t know until you try though.

The replies in here are disgusting. Its like nobody can bring up any kind of concern about a killer or their power without people raging and talking down to them for it. Its so biased.
I never had an issue with old Doc, never found him annoying but after facing new Doc all day even I have to admit that static blast can be quite annoying.
That’s not to say he needs a nerf or anything its too early to judge but I can see why someone may find it a little frustrating after playing against the Doc a lot and I’m not quite sure it meets the design intention of being less annoying.
People have also told the op how to counter it, which shows concern to ops problem.

DbD being a game is irrelevant to the ability to observe behavior.
You could observe the things you mentioned, but the difference between your examples and my statements are that my statements are backed by similar statements in the forums which can be searched for.
While anecdotal, they are concerns that are echoed throughout the forums and gives credence to the statement.
Playing as a Survivor is easy and many players agree.
And many players agree that killer is easy, your point? (I disagree with either being easy)

Biologists are human. They aren't any other animal, and yet they've studied other animals enough to make various statements about them.
I don't have to play survivor at various ranks to say that they're easy to play. I've been observing them for 3 years.
Their gameplay loop is very simple.
Do gens, hit skill checks. Is that easy? Yes.
If they're being chased, they run to safe places on the map. Primarily pallets. Is that easy? It depends on the skill of the opponent whether or not they can accomplish the task, but the task is easy in and of itself.
Dead by Daylight isn’t real life, I can observe killers or post a game where I double pipped as killer at red ranks and I’d be able to say it’s easy apparently. I could also observe hag players and say she needs nerfed even if I don’t play her often, see the problem?

@SpaceCoconut said:

Yes it does. Killer at Rank 20 is easy.
Survivor is easy at all ranks.
Killer is more difficult at higher ranks.
You don’t play at any rank over 15 as survivor, you aren’t really qualified to make that statement.
