Pink: you can start killing after you hooked each survivor that is in the trial at least once
Green: after you hooked a person twice can be morried
Yellow: tbf, make this base kit, if you're the last one, let's be honest, you're gonna die anyway, might as well have the animation

No. Do you know how much it sucks as survivor to be left behind?
You can have 3 survivors, 1 gen to go. Gens fairly spread out. Easily doable. But one coward keys out without waiting for anyone else and that really hurts the other two survivors. Solo sucks for this.
They either need to do the gens themselves or more often than not the killer closes the hatch and gets NOED (they always have NOED) and one or both of the remaining survivors are going down to it.
Keys need a total rework rather than a single survivor limitation. They screw other survivors not just killers.
The same way it sucks for 3 to escape when you did your best against fairly good players that managed to get 4 gens done and there is 1 that guy that got sacrificed. It does suck to get the stuff robbed off of your face.
Tbf, if one jerk wants to escape he will do it anyway leaving the other or others behind.

Bloody hell so many wusses here. Every serious game has DC penalties for a reason. You commit to play. Nobody cares about your feelings: "oh god, it's a huntress with iri and mori", "those survivors were bullying me". Blah blah.
Yes. I dc'ed. I rage quit and I took my penalty that I deserved.
And the argument that: "they can do whatever they want with the game" is also bollocks.
Rules are rules. When you paid for it you should have expected consequences.
Grow the ######### up.

Something like that, yeah. If not focusing survivors wasn't a certain way to lose a game, many killers would reconsider their choices and strategies, but as of now, focusing your attention on one of the survivors and hooking him as often as possible is the smartest thing you can do.
I've done that and I was called tryhard -_-
Some people...
-
As an iridescent add-on could do, but not base kit as it would be very unfair
-
Honestly atm whenever I see survivors like that if Im not bothered to try hard I just go into the basement and nut
-
People still want spirit to be nerfed? Jeez, you already got her once, go focus on someone else
-
The same reason why keys exist, to ######### one's day

Look, I am a killer main, when I play survivor with my pals I suck quite badly especially at looping. My play style is either pimp meg with nice shown belly or blendette. I am a stealth player, I learnt it from Painreliever.

It's not a common thing to see since only really skilled survivors can pull this off consistantly. Basically somebody jumps in a locker and someone waits and gets a flashlight save (aiming + timing is pretty hard and doesn't work on every locker). If somebody knows the right angle and timing they can get a save almost every single time and the killer can't do much about it really since the locker grab animation is long and the survivor can get into position easily.
However, there are sometimes two lockers next to each other and this is where it gets extremely broken. Two survivors can jump into these lockers and once somebody gets grabbed the other one can always get a save. The killer can't do anything about it except using lightborn.
Thank you for the explanation. I had it done against me 😭

The Ruin-Rework resulted in more variety instead of Ruin + PGTW + BBQ + Perk X.
Variety? Yeah, cough cough Adrenaline + DH + BT + DS or Unbreakable

For some reason I always called Legion the romanian version of "Log" which is Bustean

Tombstone, really? If you have Myers I want you to try Judith's Tombstone + Tuft Of Hair a few games and see how effective it is. Honestly it's more effective to not run any addons since you have full movement speed and reaching EW3 doesn't take draining 3 and a half survivors of Stalker Juice. (Which in a real match and not a hypothetical vacuum, is EXTREMELY hard to do since murphy's law will be you can't find that last survivor, or you can't find the obsession to get PYWF stacks so you can move at a normal movement speed unless you bring Nemesis or something to get a new obsession, but that's 2 perk slots banked now.)
You can also avoid being tombstoned by hiding in a locker.
IMHO the only "BS" tombstone combo is Tombstone Piece + J Myers Memorial for fast stalking or Judith's Journal and Nemesis for fast stalking on the obsession you can switch. I say it's a cheesy combo because Tombstone Piece has no movement speed reduction and with a stalking addon you can hit EW3 relatively fast.
Iri heads, Insta-saw Infectious Billy, and a tunneling Pyramid Head suck to play against but Tombstone Myers, as threatening as he is on paper, is arguably enjoyable to play against because if the killer wants to use tombstone he's not going to be tunneling anyone out of the game super quick + there's a sense of urgency of if you're going to finish the gens and get out before he hits EW3 and finds everyone.
you sure you left this comment in the right thread mate?
-
I'd say a better change would be for no mither to start the game fully healed and when you get a hit to get broken. This way the killer won't know that you have it from the beginning.

Using noed and still complain lmao
Imagine being that much of an ignorant entitled survivor. Noed is part of the game. Being matched up with people 2 divinions ahead of you isn't or perhaps shouldn't be.
Grow up

The devs stated that they don't want people to max out a character in the first day hence why they keep it at 1 million.

That ######### map as jumpscares?
What i heard is im always suiciding on that loud, obvious, confusing, indoor map 1000% of the time. It's bad enough with random crying bitches, random screaming, and the constantly scrapping, and cage rattling, and water dripping but now you want to add jumpscares...
Yeah no I'm out.
Jeez, can't seem to be able some atmospheric stuff. It is still a casual horror game, the map is really nice and the sounds really fit the theme
-
Played against him 5 times, 2 out of 5 I actually felt he is op. To me so far he seems balanced.

Agree

I hope it is. You're screwing over your team mates

I mean for each killer to have their own basement which could be featured in all maps, with the cut-off being the bottom of the stairs.
Each basement would be unique and represent each killer's personality and lore.
For example, Huntress could have all animal skins hanging on the walls etc.
Some of the licensed characters could have some really interesting features in their own basements.
It could be the Entity's way of producing a shrine of death intertwined with the killer.
Defo agree with that. And for some killers, instead of hooks they could have something reminiscent of a hook that works mechanically like a hook. For Doc an electric chair, inspired from @NinjaDette1, or for legion a trashed edgy teenager basement, idk, they could do it for all the killers but it would be a lot of work into it

It's really fun cause for nurse they only need to remove the blink charge and change 2 or 3 addons for her to be totally viable and not broken.

I don't listen to music while I'm playing killer, because you NEED your ears for killer, but for survivor not so much.
I once listened to music while playing survivor, you know, minding my own business at the gen BOOOOM COMES A TRAPPER and picks me up from the gen and I scream like hell. Traumas living here :))
-
dbd is one game where I just can't listen to music when playing either of the roles
-
No ######### way. Rip Hair Bow. Those literally made him much more viable. But if it's really a bug, how come it went unnoticed for ######### 4 YEARS?!?!!??!
-
Don't. I want to keep thinking that every good survivors are actually SWF.
Fr now, I would definitely agree with this so in this way it would show how the ranks logic worked.
-
Your comment about pallets being reduced made me not want to read afterwards. The only map where pallets were reduced is Nurse's map.
Oh, and complaining about overused perks, hmmm, seems familiar. Get over it and play the game.

Sloppy doesn't work anymore with Legion's power

Bruh, can people stop complaining AGAIN against bloody spirit? You got her nerfed, bugger off

Salt is certainly a factor here. He has an 18 meter range, Huntress has an almost unlimited range, as long as she can land the shot. Huntress projectiles are a guaranteed hit then down on the second hit, Deathslinger cannot down you with his gun, he has to reel you in and melee. Huntress hatchets have an immediate effect on survivors, Deathslingers spear needs more than a hit, you have to reel in survivors and ensure that there are no objects between you. Survivors can counter the reel in if an object is between them and him. Pallets counter him, they don't counter Huntress (all the time).
They both have strengths and weaknesses but you can't face a Deathslinger and treat him like he's Huntress, they are NOT the same killer. Just because they have ranged abilities does not mean they are the same, better or worse versions of each other. If we use this logic, Clown is a worse Huntress, but he's not, because he's nothing like her.
they never see the other perspective nor would accept it if presented.

Imo the strongest if used correctly is Sprint Burst.
For me, cause I am an idiot and a killer main I can never get Sprint Burst to work as I want plus I randomly sprint.
DH, don't work either, managed to hug more trees than save my life with it.
Lithe, never tried.
Head On is more for the laughs rather usefulness if you ask me.
For me the best one to use when I play survivor is BL.
-
The issue is that even though the Pink ones are more rare than the green ones, there are more green addons/offerings that can appear therefore making them actually more rare. There isn't enough pink stuff to make the moris more rare unless you decrease their chance to appear in the web

This perk is a complete design failure. Its unhealthy for all players. Killer players need to gitgud. Thats how it is. Its pathetic how most killers play this game. Theyre on the same Level like those baby survs in redranks that cant do anything helpful.
Instead of us "gittinggud" maybe do some bones so maybe you'll leave this entitlement at the door
-
No, it is not toxic but as a Legion main I require you to not do that. Why? Well, because I asked. (jk)
-
@DwightOP said:
Depends, if I feel they deserve it I will be. For example: Bubba facecamps with on 5 gens for no reasons. Oh hell you can bet your butt I'm going gen to tilt you for the rest of the match.
Another example: toxic swf wants to bully me while I played fair. I'm going to destroy you. I will make your match horrible, I will slug, I will camp, I will do anything possible to secure the 4k.
That's how I do it as well
-
Nurse's base kit was almost balanced, didn't need this cooldown. Her add-ons were the big issue. Omega blink and 5 blink nurse were not okay. Imo the base kit should get a buff to make her less stressful to play as.

So I'm not new to the game, been playing for like 1 1/2 year, I mainly play on PS4 and after the "leak" about cross progression came out, I've been binge playing on pc, been having a terrible MM as well, rainbow ranks BUT compared to PS4 no one so far has been toxic at all, some survivors have asked me stuff like " are you smurfing? Because you are not a rank 16 I can tell" I just answer " I come from console" people have told me in like 10 matches "you are a really great huntress" and damn it feels amazing not having "you tryhard piece of sh!t" "sweat more", I hope cross progression becomes a thing soon, I'm loving the pc dbd community so far
It really depends though, in the last days I had good games as killer with nice survivors, right now I intentionally dc'ed against some toxic asses with OoO and tea bagging and #########. Although, i fell like the pc community isn't that toxic as it is on console, that's what I gathered from what people say here and on reddit.
Bottom line, I'm glad you're having a good time sir

I have a friend who's been using the built in steam key mapper for his steam controller to spam the struggle phase
-
At leats as a band aid for moris is give the survivor that gets tunneled out a black pip
They could do something similar with the keys until they get changed
-
Killer main but when I'm playing survivor I'm always complimenting the killer if they did good or encourage them if they got destroyed. I try to be the survivor I want to play against
-
Short answer: no
Long answer: Not banable, but they could look into the idea of camping. I am a killer main but i rely on camping when I need it to secure objective or when I want to punish toxicity. I never camp a good survivor that just outplayed me, i've got big enough nuts to admit I was outplayed by a better player. Camping is a strat when used properly, but a very scummy thing when abused. There could be something done in order to punish the dickheads

Yes, rank is necessary somewhat.
It gives you a very rough indication of the expected skill you have to look forward to in your opponents and teammates.
If you see a Rank 20 Survivor and a Rank 1 Survivor side by side, you know they both are most likely to be different in skilll, gamesense, and how useful they are in a match.
It doesnt accurately judge Skill, just gives you a very rough estimate.
So far rank in my opinion rather than judging the skill is judging the time spent in the game which could corelate to better skill overall, but not much.
When the new MMR system will be introduced, like in CS:GO or LOL for example, where you rank up based on a lot of certain things you do then it's gonna be very beneficial. It should be a much more complex than the emblem system, yes that worked, but that was good when the game was new, now it should be a much more complex algorithm that should have it's values and parameters hidden to avoid exploiting.
The classic ranks and emblem shouldn't stay imo because it's gonna be very confusing, imo, have the ranks tied up to the MMR not the emblem system.
-
Imo the struggle should be in the other way around, your character struggles automatically and if you want to ######### for different reasons, give the hatch for example, there should be a button to do it rather than you smashing your controller

One of my friends plays a blendette. But she's one of these rare blendettes, who are actually useful during the game. She is not good at looking back during chases so she prefers the stealthy playstyle. And it works, even against red rank killers.
Usually when she starts to laugh in discord, we know the killer completely missed her by an inch.
Same, I'm a killer main but when I play survivor I play blendette as that fits my playstyle, more stealthy. But there is a difference between stealthy and useless for the team
