Try Thana, Rundying, and Blood Echo. Words cannot describe how annoying this build is.

I personally don't play spirit almost at all and when I do, it depends on the survivors how well I do. Generally, I miss a lot of phase walks and get juked by good survivors pretty often so I wanted to know how do the poeople who keep saying how them playing spirit, is ez win every match, do with her.
Do you actually almost never miss a phase walk or never get juked. Every chase ends seconds after you land the first hit. Always on point each time as phase walking is supposed to be extremely easy to land.
I can understand some of it while using stridor on an injured survivor but a lot of the time, survivor just heal and then you have to correctly predict them without sounds which I find pretty challenging vs good opponent who excels at mindgames, at least from my POV without experience.
There are things you can do while a Spirit is phasing.
What's important to know is she's completely reliant on sound. You can do tricks like crouching at a pallet to muffle your groans so that she thinks you're further than you really are, making her keep going and lose track of you and wasting her power duration. There are so scratch mark jukes, double vaults, etc. Of course, that's assuming you know she's phasing...
Most survivors, however, don't do this. Many hold W and hope for the best, meaning death. It's also worth mentioning that some add-ons (a.k.a Amulet + MDR) make the speed/duration so long that it honestly doesn't matter what you do.
I wouldn't call Spirit easy, per se. However, she is a killer many don't play particularly well against, mostly because it's impossible to tell what she's doing, something I'm not even going to try to defend.
-
That's how they are by design, hence the chapter name "Darkness Among Us."
Similar size, a few similar animations (namely Frenzy Vault and Fast Vault)-- They're the counterparts of the original 4 survivors.
-
Whispers is like Spine Chill. There's no counter, only ways you can trick it.
If you're in the endgame against a killer with Whispers.... sometimes, you just gotta accept the loss.
-
It's... literally in progress. As in, mentioned multiple times in dev streams. They're redoing his first person animations just to raise his camera.
-
Post-Rework, you can move Clown to maybe above Pig but that's about it. Could never figure out where to put Plague/Demo, so I gave them their own tier.

Well, this is mine, IN MY POINT OF VIEW. who is stronger and how I handle the killer.
..... You've never faced a good Nurse, have you?

I mean, Undying is getting nerfed next update and Freddy is looking to also be nerfed SoonTM.
-
Old Frank's Mixtape....
Just kidding. But honestly, I want Legion to have his speed add-ons back. If not that, then the 3 sec fatigue base.

I have no complains on "SLUGGING" per se. it encourages slugging, YES. Thats why i am suggesting to nerf the BBQ & Chili's Aura Reading on "DOWNED" survivors because it makes it easy for killer to find the slugged survivor. KILLER can slug all they want, but it makes it more easier for them to slug and hook because of the amount of information the perk has.
YES, you dont need to guard anybody, because you are obliged not to because KILLER will lose instantly.
You're not giving any arguments as to why any of this is bad. You're just saying:"it encourages slugging" as if it's something unhealthy for the game.
-
.... and?
Slugging is something killers do by necessity. And it's only if you're 40m away from another hooked survivor, meaning your teammates have plenty of time to save you. If they're dead then the game's already over.
I honestly do not understand people that ask for a bbq nerf. I mean, we have Soul Guard and Unbreakable that also overlap in functionality but no one complains about them.

Yeah thats the video im talking about, i can see the bar, but it wasnt going down. They test how long it takes for the deep wound to put them into the dying state but the bar doesnt actually go down as shes going into dying.
I think you don't understand something.
Killers only see the DW bar to know the status effect is applied. They do NOT see the bar decrease; blame Old Legion for that change.
Survivors always see the bar and see it go down (unless they're running or mending which pauses the timer)
-
It's right beneath a survivor's name. You can see it in Otz's ptb video where he demonstrates Legion's DW add-ons after the change.
-
How to counter him? Easy, really. Just drop every pallet against him and make friends with windows.
The goal here is making it take as long as possible to get a down while your teammates are doing gens. By the time he downs you, 2-3 gens have popped while he only has 1 hook.
Point is, play safe. If you're in the open, you're dead.
-
I hope you mean hooked because otherwise, the perk is pretty bad.

I'm not sure if anyone was even paying attention to the fact that you can now run Devour Hope or Huntress' Lullaby with Undying while keeping all of the tokens. People keep complaining that Undying was a nerf, but they're ignoring the fact that while they nerfed one aspect of it, they buffed another.
True, but the current killer meta is regression and Ruin is a regression perk, so they pretty much did nerf it in the eyes of the community.

Are you going to ignore the buffs to clown and wraith?
No, I won't.
Clown is weird so I'd need to see how it works.
Wraith is nice but not enough. His add-on reliance hasn't been addressed, so they addressed 1 glaring issue while ignoring the rest.
Trapper was more of a simplification than a buff but still nice for Trapper mains out there. Now, if they made brown bag base....
Edit: somehow misread "you" as "we." I'm an idiot
-
Not much, really. I personally would prefer Ruin to get a change instead.
However, I would definitely change the aura reading to only trigger while actively cleansing a totem.

Disagree with Myers being higher than Legion.
Myers has a terrible early game thanks to T1 and spends most of the game as a powerless M1 killer with a small TR. His main power is to temporarily make survivors play super safe for a minute, otherwise they're a one-shot. Once the minute is up, powerless m1 killer.
Legion lacks the bad early game, has a good detection tool with killer Instinct and their power guarantees a first hit, basically making everyone a one-shot throughout the game.
Myers does have some nice add-ons, but outside of the broken Tombstone, the main issue of having to work hard for a power that isn't that great remains.
-
Guess I should clarify a few things.
B-/C+ tier - This was a tier I made because Plague and Demo were the killers I had a very difficult time placing. Plague is strong, but her power is very inconsistent due to it largely relying on the survivors. Demo is also pretty strong but he's also pretty average, unfortunately; he's not bad but nothing that really makes him excel either (although Demo who's mastered their shred is a scary beast).
SS tier - If you face these killers, pray they haven't mastered them. If they have, accept your death. A good Nurse and Spirit (especially with add-ons in the latter's case) are borderline impossible to beat.
Freddy - He's the easiest killer in the game, no doubt. He's not the strongest—nowhere near the level of Nurse or Spirit, or even a good Hag imo. The thing is, he chews through bad teams, and because he's so easy, it's not hard for even beginners to reach the "max" potential of Freddy.
PH - This one I'm somewhat iffy on. However, considering he can hit through almost every wall, I believe a PH (when mastered) has the potential to be on S tier level. And that's just his chase potential, ignoring DS-Unbreakable is just the cherry on top.
Twins - with them, I've taken 2 playstyles into account. The camping strategy largely relies on deploying Vic before hooking, which I consider an exploit, so I didn't take it into much consideration. Despite this, I couldn't ignore the possibility of camping a Devour totem or just having Vic outside the 16m radius. The slugging strategy I've seen backfire horribly by a team of WGLFs or Unbreakables. It's pretty hit or miss with them; it's that lack of consistency that I have them so low.
Add-ons - Add-ons were taken into consideration... mostly. I excluded ones that I consider fundamentally broken (i.e Iri-Head and Pinky Finger)

I was talking about the bug where you could hear her phasing. You could pin point exactly where she was with the bug
Are you referring to the one where you could hear her breathing while phasing? If so, trust me.... she's still very strong with that.
-
You start the game injured and are permanently broken
You're 50% quieter
You can pick yourself off the ground
You don't leave blood trails
-
No?
BBQ is an easy perk to fool and/or hide from. While its tracking is useful, it could be substituted easily for Thrilling Tremors, for example. Of course, then you have the extra BP in a VERY grind-heavy game with a useful (if counterable) in-game effect, you get the most picked perk in the game.

I just think it would be a QOL on both side, legion would be less annoying to deal with as survivors and legion could catch a survivor quickly after ending FF, i think it could be worth a try on a ptb
Sorry but... this is pretty much a nerf. DW is pretty much an essential part of Legion's kit, even if the fatigue is reduced to compensate.
-
@Klakky it's fake.
-
I guess I can give my own thoughts on how I would personally change Freddy
Passive sleep - Reworked to only begin when within Freddy's Terror Radius. Decreased time from 60 secs to 45 sec.
Dream World - No longer applies the Oblivious Status effect (lullaby will still replace the default TR but will still be treated in-game as such)
Snares - now incurs a cooldown of 1.5 secs, during which Freddy is slowed to 3.8m/s OR Snares will no longer "recycle" and instead will disappear over time, meaning if a Freddy were to spam all 8 snares, he would have to wait for the oldest to disappear before placing another.
Swing Chains/Jump Rope/Outdoor Rope - Reworked to now decrease the time of passive sleep by 5/10/15 secs
-
All I can say is that the devs are aware of the positive feedback and are taking it into consideration if they ever tweak her power again.
Personally? Look, I like Spirit—I like her a lot, both as and against her. But this bug needs to come back as a feature. It's okay to have a killer's power rely on mind games rather than playing around some gimmick at a loop. It is not alright for a killer to have a complete lack of transparency and devolve into a guessing game instead of making any reads based on limited info.

I think most if not all people can agree that blight was one of the best desgined killers added to the game, very strong but also fair for the survivors and highly entertaining for both sides. Infact, he might actually be seen in tournaments occasionally and break up the usual nurse/spirit games he's got that much potential.
The devs have said though that in everymid chapter they plan to adress the chapter released before the latest one, which is fair enough and probably a good thing. However I really hope that they leave blight where he is (maybe fix a few bugs but that goes for alot of killers) as i would be highly dissapointed if he is nerfed yet killers like spirit and freddy remain in their current form.
Blight only needs a few tweaks
- Raise his POV
- Adjust his turnrate (primarily for consoles who can't flick like their PC peers)
- Make his tophat base
-
@Mandy said:
Using FF they're moving at 5.2m/s - base speed is 4.6m/s, so they do move quite a bit faster than base.
Legion is definitely noticeably faster. The issue is that it's not much faster. He can easily get one stab in, but when it comes to chaining stabs, there's a problem; once you're spotted, survivors will quickly scatter and can easily outrun Legion just going in a straight line until Frenzy runs out.
It's telling that Legion's best add-ons are duration. It's those 1-2.5 extra seconds that make all the difference because his base speed is just too slow despite lasting a pretty long time compared to other killers' powers. Adjusting Legion's speed to be even slightly faster such as 5.4m would go a long way to make things much better for Legion without being too absurd for survivors that it's impossible to escape.

Yeah, I agree 100%. They only really need minor improvements (mostly QOL). The fatigue should definitely be shorter.
I've suggested this idea before, but as a Legion main, what would you think of fatigue being reduced by 0.5 secs for every successful Frenzy stab to a max of 2 secs (assuming the cooldown add-ons are reworked to compensate)?

@Almo said:
Legion's performance is average. It's right in the middle of all the Killers at all ranks including among the very best players.
This guy's a Legion main; I'm pretty sure checking his YouTube content and Twitch channel can help you learn better how to play Legion. :)
I think the reason people constantly complain about Legion is that there are several things making him very unpleasant to play, both as and against.
As survivor, his power is as interactive as watching paint dry. You're getting hit, and then hold M1 for 12 seconds, not even getting skillchecks. It's boring and uninteractive, made worse by the lack of agency due to a generous timer. Once you're injured, he's just a generic killer with no fun gimmicks/power to play around.
As Legion, he's not nearly fast enough to catch up to people running in a straight line despite a surprisingly lenient 10 second duration (compared to Spirit's 5 or Bubba's 6-ish). He also eats a MASSIVE 4 sec cooldown, no matter how well he plays, meaning there is a severe lack of reward for good plays despite having a power with no lethality. Finally, his add-ons are terrible. Detection isn't that great since you can't capitalize on the information, Frank's Mixtape is literally a meme (I assume its purpose is to punish greeding the mend timer but Legion cannot see the mend timer, making these types of plays infeasible) as is Stab Wounds Study, and his cooldown add-ons are pathetically weak despite their rather high rarity especially compared to duration (widely regarded as his best family of add-ons).

Lightweight is very underwhelming perk and very few people run it. In order to make it a decent perk, it needs to be reworked. The current perk is this : Scratch marks stay visible 1/2/3 seconds fewer than normal.
My rework idea would be: Scratch marks and blood trails are considerably less discernible and stay visible for 2/3/4 seconds fewer than normal. You leave no blood trails while crouching or walking while injured.
Scratch marks and blood trails would be a deep dark red almost brown and would be less likely to attract the killer's attention from afar. At tier three, the time for scratch marks and blood trails to disappear would be halved and when paired with Iron will and urban evasion it could be quite useful to be able to hide your blood trails while injured. What do you think of this rework?
This rework would be a massive middle finger to colorblind people who already can't see scratch marks very well.
-
The issue is the reveal mechanic is very poorly coded.
You need to see 25% of Ghosty's model but only within the "reveal zone" of the survivor's camera. The issue? It's determined by your *canera* meaning ANY hitbox, including your own, can cover Ghosty's enough and cancel the reveal. Most of the "reveal zone" is at the center of your camera, where your model will be covering most of it.

Of course. Every killer has their specific fanbase. And I've stated multiple times that I see no fault in enjoying a killer for what they are.
But I must state again that liking how a killer is currently does not excuse the design problems that they have.
I'm glad we both agree that Legion in their current state isn't okay. And I must repeat myself again that the point of my post was never to spur the devs to radically change Legion like I had envisioned. I made this post for the sake of expressing an idea that I wanted to explore.
Completely fair. You don't have to like my changes at all.
The reason I bring up Legion having a fanbase is because when coming up with ideas on reworking a killer, it's important to not completely alienate them.
Look at freddy. There are Old Freddy Mains who literally had their killer removed. Better for the game or not, it's something the devs got a lot of flack for and not something they want repeated again.
Comparatively, we have Doctor and Bubba. Bubba is largely the same with mechanical changes that made him an absolute beast. Doctor's mechanics were heavily simplified so that he was much easier to control, allowing his full potential to be reached. These changes made the killer better, *but* was still very familiar for veterans of their previous form.
Your idea is a drastic rework that would risk repeating Freddy. I urge you to take these factors into consideration when suggesting changes to an existing killer.
-
@Cirocband said:
I agree, Killers should lose points for camping the hooks.
They do....
-
@SirCracken I think you misunderstand the nature of @Sonzaishinai's arguement.
Like it or not, Legion in their current state has a fanbase. This could be for a variety of reasons; Liking having to only outplay a survivor once to down them instead of twice, the usefulness of using killer instinct to track, or even just finding it enjoyable to chain as many stabs as possible.
Is Legion okay in their current state? Not really. They're not very fun to go against since a particularly evil Legion can just stab you repeatedly just for the sake of slowing the game to a crawl and holding M1 with 0 interaction (or skill checks) is mind-numbingly dull. At the same time, having a non-lethal power have a brutal 4-second stun and punished so heavily for mistakes for so little reward is just absurd.
Do I like your changes? Not really. It's a completely different killer, and while I'm sure that's something you put a lot of thought into, it's not something I would enjoy, personally.

Hi all!
I am a returning player with 470h in the game. I've been playing the game on and off since it's release and recently started yet again. I was a killer main for a long time and have started actively playing survivor around 380h into the game. I have watched guides, read through forum posts and gained enough knowledge of the game to consistently make it to purple ranks.
But now to the main question I would like to ask:
######### am I supposed to do against a decent Spirit?
In low ranks she was always manageable, as basically everyone messed up her power or just couldn't chase that well in general. Now it couldn't be further from that. Every single spirit I face seems to exactly know where I am, what I am doing and it feels like there is nothing I can do as a casual player.
If I try to camp a pallet, she approaches from behind or can hit me through it before I can react. If I try to loop, I end up running in circles by myself with no clue where she is supposed to be. If I hide, she can easily hear my moans or just follow my blood should I decide to take iron will.
Over the games I have played while stuck in ranks 8-6 most of them felt fair, as in I had a chance to escape or make it far into the game if I played well and was playing with other survivors on my skill level. Sadly I cannot say that about games against spirits. The majority of games against her are extremely frustrating as I don't see any way to do gens and not get caught in 20 second long chases. The only way I managed escape or survive more than 5 minutes is hiding in a corner doing nothing and basically waiting for the other 3 survivors to die and escape by hatch.
This also doesn't seem to be only me as basically all survivors in my games that get found are downed in incredibly short time spans and suicide or disconnect way more often than in any other matchups.
If anyone has reliable advice against her I'd appreciate it very much! I don't want to be the survivor that quits on sight of a killer he doesn't like but by now playing against spirit is just a waste of time for me...
TL;DR: I am a bad player that can't manage to play againt Spirit, wanted to rant a bit, and need advice
Spirit is... tricky. She's very not transparent to survivors, so a lot is guessing which can obviously lead to you dying.
Now, some perks can help give you an edge. Iron Will will silence you when injured, and if she has Stridor, you're at least muffled (and nearly inaudible if crouching). If you have Spine Chill, you'll always know if she's looking at you, even if phasing.
But let's say you don't have these. If you see a Spirit suddenly stand still as you're running away, try dashing towards a building or tree or ANYTHING to break LoS in case she's tricking you. If she still hasn't moved, walk or double back because by then, she's going to be on your tail.
If you're at a tile, one trick is to drop a pallet and then just hold W away, maybe with some double backs or weird movements thrown in. Remember, before she can use her ears to track you down, she has to rely on scratch marks and visual cues (ex: grass moving) so be on constant alert of what you're doing and where you're going.
I need to make this clear: While I don't dislike Spirit, even I can admit that the sheer lack of transparency is pretty ridiculous. Because of it, nothing I or anyone else can tell you is 100% a good counter. What I've done is given you some common jukes to help fool her, but in the end, if she sees it coming, you're boned.
-
THAT is.... way too much for an add-on. That's basically a complete rework.

IMO the pig is ridiculously op.
Most of the killers have 1 or 2 abilities some being more powerful than others. Huntress has 1 pretty bad ability so she rarely gets used in higher levels where as killers like nurse and trapper are still used with their 1 because it is a powerful ability.
So why does the pig have 3 all of which are what i'd consider powerful abilities. The no terror radius thing is hard as it is, but then she also has a charge attack that is nearly impossible to dodge ( i was on the opposite side of a 3 meter loop, she charged at me did a hairpin U turn around it and caught me before i could get to the pallet.) which makes it more powerful than the stalk abilities of ghost/shape because it is like being instantly exposed but you make injured sounds too and only takes a few seconds to charge up. But then on top of all that it can put a trap on your head that takes 2 seconds but sends you into a frenzy running around the map trying to get it off, wasting a few minutes each time and potentially taking you out of the game instantly.
I run around about rank 2 survivor and I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a pig lose to 5 gens, thankfully you don't see a heap of them because it isn't one of the free killers but it almost feels like a P2W thing with how powerful it is.
I even thought maybe its just me and there is someone that is good at dodging the attacks but then I googled it and the only thing i could find was a low rank messing with another low rank.
It's just you. I've gonna go bit by bit.
- Did you just say Huntress has a weak power? And is rarely used? She is literally the most played killer in the game at red ranks according to the dev's own stats.
- Trapper's power is... very far from being powerful. I mean, once you know the trap spots, you're good. If you have Small Game, Detective's Hunch, a map, or just good eyes, then Trapper is an M1 killer with no power.
- Pig's powers are far from powerful. Her stealth is mediocre as her TR is 32m, so she can't use Whispers to detect a survivor and crouch without using Monitor. You can't patrol because you move at 90% speed, so you need to choose a good time to crouch.
- Her Ambush is probably her best tool. It's also easy to counter. Either A) Pre-drop the pallet or B) run away when she crouches.
- The Trap is an annoyance at best. Just 99 gens and you're good to go. If she has Ruin then fine, you might have to run around for a bit. Here's the issue; it's complete RNG. You might get it on your last attempt or your first. The Pig has 0 input on this, which is why this power is so infuriating for Pig players.
- Even if the Trap is active, you have 2 minutes and 30 secs. That's enough time to get the trap off. The only time the thing ever really kills you is if the Pig is running Tampered Timer and Crate of Gears and harasses you a few times. Even then, it's complete RNG in its effectiveness. Doubly so as a gen needs to pop before the trap is even active, meaning your teammates would be the ones screwing you over there.
-
Are we really doing this? "Small PP" build is referred to as such because it can be used offensively by survivors with 0 means of counterplay; there's no big manipulation going on and it's kinda worrisome that it's bothering you to this level.
Yes, slugging and tunneling to some extent are how killers in high ranks win games as this allows them to keep survivors off of gens and maintain map pressure. DS means they can't tunnel, and Unbreakable means they can't be slugged, and thus there is nothing a killer can do until DS expires. By then, you can get done three-quarters of a gen, and if ran by a team, that's 240 seconds of the team being invulnerable.
That's why it's hated—there are no feasible means for the killer to keep the survivors off gens/prevent them from playing offensively and play around these defensive perks. If you want to run it, then fine—do it. It's a common build, after all. There's no need to make a big deal out of everything.
Furthermore, I don't like the tone this has. Your post has this subtext of "Screw killers! Run this build they hate!"
I know this fanbase is pretty divided, that comes with any asymmetrical game, but it's another to actively encouragement resentment from one side to another. It's a game; we're here to have fun, make low-quality memes, and totally-not-erotic fan art—if a game is causing you frustration, take a break. It sounds like you've had some rough games and desperately need it.

Freddy has had the highest kill rate in both all ranks and red ranks since his rework over a year ago. Higher than both Nurse and Spirit, and higher than the second best by a statistically significant margin. He is getting nerfed soon. He wouldn't be on the chopping block if he wasn't S tier. He is hands down the killer with the most tools in his kit, hands down the best map pressure in the game due to his ability to teleport clear across the map (Nurse, Billy, Oni, Spirit, Blight... none of them can get across the map as fast as Freddy... 3 seconds and he is 90m away using Pop on a gen IMMEDIATELY after a hook). He also has very strong chase potential with snares. Mechanically and statistically he is one of the strongest killers in the game. If you seriously think Freddy is not S tier then you never actually played against a competent Freddy. You are as likely to beat a top tier Freddy as you are a top tier Nurse or Spirit, as in slim to none.
Myers has a one shot, which means he can actually threaten you. Legion cannot threaten you with his power, he just gets a free health state is all. Plus Myers has add-ons where he can insta-kill you, and he is very stealth oriented which means he is more likely to get that second hit than Legion.
Plague and Legion are functionally very similar. They both are meant to force survivors to play the game injured. But that's not a very strong thing especially when they can't really capitalize on that. Being injured is kinda meaningless against them. Plague has Corrupt Purge which IS a serious threat to injured survivors, but it has a lot of limits and survivors ultimately control how much she can get.
Oni doesn't have access to his power at all times. He is like Billy + Myers. He has to both build his power and use it at the right time. There's not necessarily ever a wrong time to chainsaw someone if you can. There is definitely a wrong time to use your Oni stick on someone, and you lose your power if you decide to take a hook. Billy never has to deal with being without a power except in those very rare instances where he overheats but then only for 15 seconds.
Freddy having the highest kill rate is representative of him being the easiest killer in the game, not the best. Otherwise, the Nurse is in desperate need of a buff. Countering a Freddy means staying up by any means possible, and at that point, he's an M1 killer with no power besides occasional teleports. Even with passive sleep, it'll take so long that gens will be popping in the distance against a good team. Compare that to Nurse and Spirit who pretty much ignore the survivors' skill and are borderline unbeatable in the right hands.
Myers has a TERRIBLE early game where he cannot apply pressure at all and is at the survivors' mercy to be able to stalk enough to get out of T1. But let's say you do that, you get T3 which makes everyone a one-shot. Compare that to Legion whose power guarantees the first hit and discourages healing meaning... everyone's a one-shot. Unlike Myers, Legion always has access to his power at the start of the game and can apply DW to keep survivors mending briefly before chasing one survivor. Now, yes, add-ons like Tombstone change things... but considering how absolutely unjustifiably broken they are, I ask if you're considering the same for other killers such as Iri-head, Pinky Finger, Black Incense, Iri-King, etc.
True, but Plague always has access to one fountain or more with add-ons. That's a lot more than what Legion has. At the very least, she's a higher killer than Legion.
Part of being a good Oni is learning to manage your power. If you get the ball rolling, you'll always have access to it. The determining factor is the early game; if Oni gets the first hit and makes a single good use of his power, it's almost impossible to recover from and he'll always have his power ready.

Some of these I really disagree with.
Freddy isn't S tier. Bullshit? Yea, but he's nowhere near on the same level as Nurse and Spirit. He is a solo-queue destroyer and chews through bad teams though.
I honestly cannot accept Legion is worse than Myers. I'm sorry but there isn't really a way to justify it in my eyes unless you're relying on BS add-ons like Tombstone (in which case, Huntress is S-tier).
Putting Plague on the same tier as Legion is rather harsh. I mean, she's an inconsistent killer but she is, overall, a better killer than Legion.
I dunno if I'd put Oni below Billy. I mean, if Oni can get the first hit, then he can play the rest of the game as a better Billy as long as he doesn't make a massive blunder. At the very least they should be on the same tier, imo.

Blight's FOV (field of view) is the same as everyone else's. It's the camera's position that's different.
Err... I don't want to assume anything, but I don't think you read the post. That, or you really wanted to clarify that. I can't tell.

Would love to but I'm hard at hearing lol it's why I added the "decent hearing" part. Especially now with the departments involving hearing being closed due to the pandemic.
Oh #########, I hope things get better for you soon, mate.

Spirit was the first killer I ever bought. She was my favourite killer, and still would be if not for one thing. I really, really like playing Spirit. Or I would, if not for the fact that she's so damn easy.
Seriously, if all else fails, if you're like me and don't really use sound, if you struggle with tracking for whatever reason... You can just 50/50 every loop.
That's one aspect I will concede needs to be looked at. She's far too opaque and it makes those scenarios guessing games for survivors, something that's just flat-out unfair.

I mean, Blight's pick-up animation literally has him grabbing the survivors by their derriere, so....
