Note: certain information (such as movement speeds) is sourced from the wiki—the wikigg one. Vault speeds: From what I've seen and compared, these two are identical at 1 second (assuming Kaneki is enraged, as he should be in 90% of the match). Whether it's a window or a pallet, the vaults will take 1 second. This was notably NOT the case in the PTB, as Kaneki's pallet vault was 2 seconds in0 comments 201 views last activity

Inner Focus was changed to only proc when the killer did damage. This is because people were using it with Plot Twist to get more info than intended. Okay, this part is fair. Except, IIRC, Save the Best for Last was changed from the PTB when it got nerfed. In the PTB, the tokens were lost when the obsession took damage. HOWEVER, people were also abusing Plot Twist on the obsession force the ki5 comments 231 views last activity

The lack of DS in my games is a little astonishing to me. I do know there are perks such as OtR now, but I remember pre-6.1.0 where you couldn't go a single match without the perk. Especially with all the tunnelling complaints, I'm expecting to see it dominating again, but it's just... not. I do see it, but nowhere near as ubiquitous as before, not even having OtR in its stead a lot of the time69 comments 1,322 views last activity

I've had this debate go on since Dracula released, so I'll put it plainly: What is the official stance on Dracula Pounce (via Wolf form) being able to replicate Blight's old "Hug Tech" that allows him to slide off structures he'd typically bump into? I'm pretty sure it's "a bug that will be removed," much like Blight, but I want an official point of reference to close the debate, please.41 comments 1,031 views last activity

Samara, you are not Sadako Yamamura comes from the Ringu franchise (pronounced like "Ring"). This is NOT Samara Morgen from the American Remakes. One significant difference? Sadako died when she was 19. And we don't know if this is the Sadako from the films or the novels (yes, it was the novel first), the latter of which comes with a lot of weirdness. A lot. There is too much to list, so0 comments 803 views last activity

Purpose of Guards? This is a simple but genuine question. What is their point? I ask this because I feel the game is at odds with itself. Are they NOT meant to get hits by themselves? Why does the Knight's Daily require guards to get a hit? Not start a Hunt, not hit a survivor during a Hunt, but specifically by a guard. If they are, then why are they so, well, terrible at it? Get a window, v7 comments 171 views last activity

I'm unsure whether or not this is intended or not. When the Knight's power goes on cooldown (after the guard despawns for whatever reason), the duration is 10 seconds instead of the previous 4 seconds. If this is intended, it was NOT mentioned in the patch notes. Please adjust. If it was not, well... now you know.1 comments 82 views last activity

Before I say anything, I need to clarify: this is not a complaint that tunneling will be harder. Survivors thanking the DBD Gods that this perk is getting reverted, I get it. Really, I do. I run OtR religiously because Tunnelled sucks. I get it. My problem is just that, though. It's solely because of this perk. I didn't care for this perk much before, but my Lord, this perk is so annoying at times post-buff. "Oh, but OP, you can just slug!" I just went against 4 UBs with that perk. You know, the perk that prevents slugging. "Oh, it's a meme perk!" I don't care! It's hardly much of a meme anymore, and even if it was, it's still so annoying. "Just look at wall!" Yeah, that's really helpful w9 comments 321 views last activity

Merry Christmas (at the time time of writing), and with the Trickster's recent rework, what better way to celebrate than to detail the journey this Korean pop star has gone through during his stay in DBD? He's had quite an extensive history, so I'm going to skim over a few minor bits, such as his iteration on the PTB (as there were very few differences between him on PTB and his release version).2 comments 874 views last activity

No, it's not what you're thinking. I won't say it's embarrassing or poor sportsmanship or anything like that. I am an Aspie. That means I have Asperger's, now known as a High-Functioning form of Autism. One of the, let's say, "quirks" that can come with Autism is a sensitivity to certain stimuli. For example, some find being touched to be overstimulating which can cause distress, anxiety, or eve47 comments 1,492 views last activity

"With The Knight, damage Survivors a total of 5 times using a Guard." Guards are intentionally designed in such a way that they are NOT meant to get hits on their own, with the slight exception being Assassin whose increased speed can lead to free hits IF you catch survivors off guard. If you're chased by the knight and a guard, most of the time, the survivor will be hit by the knight himself.2 comments 41 views last activity

Motion Tracker The beeping you hear from the turret is its built-in motion tracker. You don't get to see a proper radar like the films but the beeping (or the light if you prefer/need visual cues) represents how close/far the Xeno is, even in the tunnels. If it starts beeping, then it's at least within a 41m range of the turret. The faster it beeps, the closer it is. Use this to avoid getting1 comments 101 views last activity

Comparison to Old Dead Hard Original Dead Hard was reworked because of "Dead Hard for Distance," where a player could Dead Hard on command to gain distance in a loop with no counterplay. Made For This with its 3% haste is effectively identical as it affects the killer's ability to catch up, and there is no counterplay to that. It's the same problem repackaged. If you down the survivor carrying the box and stand still for a few seconds (including while picking the survivor up), the game seems to believe you are camping the box and respawns it without starting a chain hunt. https://youtu.be/C_YhL5e_AJs This can be exploited by survivors still by jumping in a locker with the box, forcing a pick-up that causes the chain hunt to rese3 comments 41 views last activity

When inside a locker as Dredge, you can press M1 to break the lock. Interestingly, you even get a brief cooldown that immediately stops you from exiting/teleporting elsewhere (meaning the counterplay to Dredge still works). I want official word on if this is a bug or not. If it is, this is the smoothest, most deliberate feeling bug I've ever experienced.7 comments 201 views last activity

Platform: PS4 I don't have much to say, honestly. Blight randomly bugged out and I didn't have a power the entire match. It was like this from the start of the match to the end. No idea what the cause was. https://youtu.be/cjWbeZ9uaLY0 comments 21 views last activity

Sadako has received a substantial rework and is going through that adjustment period where she goes on massacres until the survivors adapt. Before we begin... I know 90% of you will ignore this, but no one can say I didn't try. You can think whatever you want. You can even think this perk is the pinnacle of design. I will disagree with it until the day I die, but you are entitled to have an opinion even if it's contrary to mine. As of 7.0.0, when the perk Jolt triggers on a generator, any survivor on that generator now screams. I just want it cleared up if this was an undocumented buff (which has happened before) or if this was a completely unintended bug that'll be patched out.4 comments 261 views last activity

Blight has been a hot topic lately and we all know why. Strong power, strong add-ons, fun to play so he's also common to face, etc. One Nerf suggestion is upping his recharge because "10 seconds is too fast!" On the surface, they're correct. 10 seconds is insanely fast. However, there's something people don't understand: his cooldown is not actually 10 seconds. It's 10 seconds + his fatigue. When playing against the Wraith using the Iri add-on that silences his bell, it also silences the 40m "whoosh" sound effect that plays when he cloaks/uncloaks. When using Make Your Choice on Dredge and teleporting away from the hook, the perk will not light up until you arrive at the locker, effectively creating a large window for survivors to get the rescue before MYC can activate. Curious, the same does NOT apply to Demogorgon which leads me to believe this behavior may not be intended. This also applies to other perks such as Devour Hope.0 comments 21 views last activity

Sometimes when downing the survivor carrying the Lament Configuration, rather than starting a chain hunt after 10 seconds, the box will merely respawn and reset the chain hunt timer. However, the initial chains/screams that come from Cenobite solving the box still occur. Consistency: Unreliable. I've had personal experiences where things proceeded as usual, and others where this bug occurred. E0 comments 31 views last activity

So, Visual Terror Radius is finally here. Great accessibility feature. I have 0 qualms with its existence. However, I'm a bit confused by some choices. Okay, so Sadako, a stealth killer, is revealed by the VTR. This is because she has a 24m lullaby which really calls to question what's the point if it's the same as her TR, but whatever. Fine. It's a lullaby so it's revealed. But, why isn't Vi9 comments 281 views last activity

Engravings I consider myself a calm and reasonable person. At the very least, I do my best to give constructive and informative feedback. Then, there are times like this when I simply have a word to say: No. Okay, to inform why I think this nerf is misguided, I believe it's important to understand the utility of Engravings and why they're (almost certainly) his most picked add-ons. Circle of Healing Let's start this off with Mikaela's problem child. This is pretty much the exact nerf I asked for ages ago, so I can't say much without being biased. You know the drill. New CoH nerf means I make another post comparing the perk to its previous iterations. CoH will remain at 50% but will only apply to Altruistic Heals. Something I realized when comparing the Artist to other range killers. Plague - Her range is more or less capped at 12 ~ 13m, so she'll always hear the "splat" sound effect when injuring survivors. Deathslinger - He literally pulls you into an M1. Nothing else is needed. Trickster - Whenever you injure a survivor with your knives, there's a screeching chord and glass breaking that plays. How long is a heal? On the surface, you might say a heal is 16 seconds. Indeed, a heal does, in fact, require 16 charges and is done at a rate of 1c/s. However, healing typically requires the help of another survivor. So 16 seconds for both would be 32 seconds. So in actuality, a heal is more accurately defined as being 32 seconds, the same as pre-nerf Self-Care, which was the reason it was0 comments 51 views last activity

Correct me at any point if I state something wrong here. The killswitch exists so that when something breaks, which is inevitable given how big this game is, the feature can be disabled so that the bug does not ruin games.
