I have been trying to hit survivors all day with PH and guess what the result is? nobody gets hit by ROJ when they have full freedom of movement.
Not everyone has survivors that are missing half their brain.
Interesting how I can hit people consistently. Do all of my survivors just lack braincells? Every single one I've ever faced?

Dude, #########. I'm so sorry......
So the short story, Cheers had cancer, it went south, he caught it too late. Me and him began talking because of it and we started dating on the 17th of August. He was amazing, best boyfriend I could've asked for, everything and more. He deserved the world. Yesterday I learned he'd passed away on 13th. Thanks to coronavirus, I couldn't go visit him to hold his hand and promise him I loved him.
And I don't want to ever forget a single thing he said or did. He's still one of the best people I know.

He was truly one of the best people I knew, in fact I know. I love him so much, still, and I miss everything about him. Every single thing.
He was one of the only people who could make survivor genuinely fun, and I didn't even need to voice call for it.
He didn't deserve this. Nobody does. He deserved the best and was shat on by life over and over.
I hope he'll be remembered; in fact no, I'll make sure of it. For as long as I'm on this forum I'll make sure he won't be forgotten.
And if anyone is going through some #########, remember, you're not alone. People can, and will support you. Don't do anything stupid.
Please quote that advice against me if I need it.

sorry, i shouldve been more clear. the "fun wacky #########" i mentioned is using your ability for more than just zone zone, lose/lose, then they die. because if thats all you're good at, and that's the only thing you can do as him, you're a bad pyramid head.
good players should be able to fully-utilise all aspects of a character's kit, and not rely on one single part of it. for example, if you can consistently predict correctly and hit through-the-wall shots on survivors with lots of distance, whilst at the same time being able to efficiently shut down loops, you're a good pyramid head imo and that commands my respect. if you can only shut down loops because of haha sword in ground haha i win no matter what you do, that's not a good pyramid head.
again though, thats completely my own opinion.

I'm bumping this thread just once for this. In case anyone wasn't aware (which they probably aren't because they're not like me and check his profile 24/7), then Cheers died on 13th September. In his sleep, so it was painless. He'll be missed. So missed, and remembered.

honestly i dont think itll be that big of an issue? like for people who use his power to zone zone zone then yeah theyll be hit hard but for the ~2 pyramid head's out there who use for skill-based shooting and prediction theyve only been made stronger. im fine with these changes until i see the exact numbers or gameplay footage, at which point my opinion my change.

Yep, I absolutely love it. I try my best to be wholesome and ensure everyone has a good time, which in turn makes my time better knowing they had fun. Its a win win scenario.

Honestly imo yes it is. Having an obsession is very, very important and I always hope my team have a perk. If they don't, then I try my best to bodyblock and make myself as easy of a target as possible so I take aggro and I get tunneled over them.
Because unfortunately, every single game thusfar without an obsession where I've been a survivor, I've been tunneled. So if I'm going to be, then I might as well give them a reason to.

I mean, gotta give OP credit tho. They came up with a set of new items, plus add-ons, and mechanics, that don't seem insanely broken like you'd expect a gun to be.

From my previous experience playing on 4G I'd honestly not use that much; I think over 2 matches it was about 350mb? Which, including booting and loading times and a discord call too, kinda impressed. Also, I was able to play DBD Mobile and never go over my data cap (10GB) whilst using about half of that on Youtube.
EDIT: You can always check your hotspot's data consumption rate if you're curious.

The number of weeks is irrelevant. It's the number of patches that matters. The hill was fixed in literally the next patch. Nurse was bugged for MULTIPLE patches. Hook bug existed for 2 patches. Most detrimental Killer bugs persist for multiple patches, most detrimental Survivor bugs are patched out in 1-2 patches. Most beneficial Killer bugs are patched out within 1-2 patches. Most beneficial Survivor bugs persist for MULTIPLE patches. Look how long it took them to fix the damn audio.
It's also easier to fix general survivor bugs (ie, hill bug) than it is to fix general killer bugs (ie, hook bug). With survivors, you fix it on one character and it's fixed on 22 others (21, depending on the current state of Ash). WIth survivors, you fix it on one character and you both have to ensure it's fixed on 20 others, and if it isn't you then have to fix it on the 20 others.
Of course the devs would fix the easy-to-fix bugs first.

A hard drive is cheap, though, and if you have a PC for gaming you definitely need at least a 1 Tb drive or there's just no point as you'll keep having to uninstall and reinstall games constantly.
Honestly yeah I agree to this completely. When I got my new PC in June, my dad kept telling me to get 500GB but honestly 1TB is basically the minimum.
@hangm_nn You can buy 250GB Internal SSDs from Amazon for about £36 last I checked, or about $46. I'd suggest saving up for one of those- the SSD currently in mine is £118 off of Amazon on sale ($150) or £170 ($217) off, which is naturally a lot of money to be spending, but if you have it at hand you honestly won't need to upgrade storage for a long time. If not, I'd say your best bet is to do a bit of research into the best brands of SSD and try getting one of those.
Though, in my honest opinion, go for an SSD not a HDD because otherwise DBD will run very, very slowly after a bit (and that's no fun).

Can confirm I haven't had to worry about ds/unbreakable for a long time unless the survivor just avoids torment which gives me easy downs since I leave it between pallets and around loops.
At least as ph. As other killers I'm terrified of a 59 second stun even when I know its been 4 minutes.

Honestly kinda the same. I was dictionary defintion ToxicEntitledSurvivorMain:tm:, and I don't even mean that unironically I was literally the poster child of it all. Clicking, tbagging, yet going down in 0.2 seconds and blaming everything but myself (I died to old leatherface on old blood lodge and thought it was because there weren't enough pallets lmfao). Then, after about 3 months of nothing but survivor I tried out killer. I liked it but I was awful as Wraith and kept getting bullied. Then I bought Freddy and somehow did better as him, so I got him to P3 50 then levelled hag for Ruin, etc etc, became a Freddy main for the next 2 years. Very, very slowly I started playing less survivor, and more killer, until eventually I was doing an even 50/50 split. Then, after like another 2 years it suddenly changed. Solo survivor became just unbearable, I was getting frustrated with everyone and everything, not even killer was fun. This was about July this year, I think. So I took my first, official break. No dbd for 4 days and I returned a changed man. I'd play almost exclusively killer, survivor wasn't fun except when I was playing with one of three people. One of my really really close friends, Th3RealDemon., my now boyfriend @Cheers (btw he's amazing i love him), or another of my really really close friends MyersManiac. They were the only things that could make survivor fun. Then, Demon started playing less, and if you don't know what's going on with Cheers right now then check out his profile. Myers is currently stuck in Northern Ireland without their computer, so I can't really play with them either. So it's solo, or SWF with people I'm not the biggest fan of because they don't voice call and mucking around there is half the fun (except @hahadrillgobrrr, banned but he's pretty funny to play with and against) or killer, and I chose the option with the least amount of stress.
Ta-daa, here I am; a newly reformed Toxic Entitled Survivor Main, now a hardcore Pyramid Head and Nurse main who needs to stop playing the game and actually do some college work!

To be fair those pallets arent exactly amazing and if they drop both, you do something amazing like breaking it. They have to camp the pallets because otherwise the killer can moonwalk and get an easy hit/down.

That doesn't change the fact that this shouldn't happen to begin with. It's not as bad but it is nearly there. "Fail at looping 1 pallet? don't worry, you have 3 more directly in front of you all within 10 meters of eachother" "BALANCE"
Thing is, those pallets are all unsafe and bloodlustable. Even if someone were to loop all 4 tiles perfectly in complete combination, falling for 0 of the 50/50s, youd still catch them because they're all unsafe and you'd get bloodlust 3 eventually. The whole issue of double pallets were two safe pallets that would lead into another part of the structure (hence, the double pallet example I showed).
