They need to bring the barrier back a little for not being able to leave the exit gate because all you have to do is hit them and they fall out and escape. If you don’t hit them then they’ll get rid of Victor and then escape. Seems really pointless to me.
I mean, I agree, but I'm talking about for future things that could also incapacitate survivors such as perks or add-ons

i've seen the hatch on badham in freddy's room, in the gen room, in the boiler room (where basement is) in the preschool, and you know it won't be in the other area above that basement. i've seen it in and around the killer shack, i've seen it in the middle of the street, at the ends of the street (3 places), in the 2 story house, in the two areas of the other house, i've seen it in the wooded area around the shack, I've even seen it in the playground area so it is placed in lots of places on those maps.
the game: can be anywhere in the basement area of the warehouse this is true.
I'm not saying a map can't be survivor sided or killer sided, but they aren't as bad as people make them out to be and that's my point.
That as a joke about how badham before the rework seemed to have hatch and ruin always spawn in Freddy's room...

hmmm 4 windows on the game? one in the control room above the bathroom leading to the drop down to the bathroom, one in the freezer room, two in the room in one corner and there are atleast 2 other windows in the downstairs area.
hatch being hard to find? well it's rarely covered by grass and can't be seen when it reveals itself before opening (if it doesn't stay hidden till the last survivor)
Every map has it's benefits for both sides, and every map has it's detractions for both sides! some are skewed but not as badly as anyone here keeps calling... honestly people should stop complaining about indoor vs outdoor maps.... i've seen survivors die in a 4k on lerys to a hillbilly, hell i got a 3k on a hillbilly when i barely knew how to play it! only missed 4k because of the hatch. there are lots of different things out there look for the good and not the bad and you'll have more fun. hell i have fun as killer on ORMOND!
Ah sorry I forgot about the Freezer room. That's 5. Maybe a 6th if a jungle gym spawns although those are rare and pallet gyms are much more common.
Hatch is hard to find usually due to it being able to spawn literally anywhere on the floor, whilst you compare it to maps like badham where apparnely it's only ever able to spawn in the basement of the preschool. Same with my ruin totem.
I'm not saying that they don't have their ups and downs. I'm not saying they're all 100% killer sided and survivors always lose. I'm not saying they're fun and engaging- I got Lerys like 5 times in a row as Freddy and it was boring as #########. I'm saying that they're not survivor sided, due to a multitude of factors, and things that work against the killer also work against the survivors.
Unlike maps such as Haddonfield or (current) Ormond which are so clearly survivor sided.

- The Game has the highest number of consistent god pallets of any map in DBD. The one room above the bathroom alone can be ran against most killers (aside from Huntress or Trapper, really) for up to 5 gens without taking a hit.
- The big middle room in Hawkins can be utilized to run a killer for MULTIPLE gens, sometimes without ever dropping the pallets that spawn in there. Hawkins overall has less SAFE pallets, but there are way more of them.
- Lery's is full of god windows and safe pallets.
- Midwich is garbage for both sides, but it's still survivor sided. Unless the killer closes hatch. Then RIP last survivor.
But yes, they are killer sided. Get good at the game. Learn to mind game.
Most Lerys pallets are unsafe with a couple safe/god scattered around. Most windows also aren't very safe and without lithe chsining tiles together is very difficult. It's definitely runable as survivor but as killer there's still things you can do.
The Game, yeah it's safe pallet heaven but also once those pallets are gone there's nothing. There are 4 windows on the entire map, 2 of which are at an l-t wall, one is above the bathroom, and one is by an exit gate. All of them aren't particularly safe. Furthemrore finding anything on that map, from gens to hooked people to totems to said safe pallets, is an absolute nightmare. It's not exactly an amazing map, and depending on the teams it can be survivor sided, though the vast majority of the time it's killer sided. Plus with builds like EndFury those pallets aren't staying up for very long.

Killers have no info and survivors have some of the easiest stealth of their lives, and on the Game they also have the easiest chases. I'm not saying survivors have no problems - the info thing cuts both ways, after all. But there's a reason I fear a Hawkins map offerring more than Haddonfield or Ormond.

Stealth, yeah, I get that, but also if they're hiding they're not doing gens, and Hawkins/The Game are pretty small so if they're immersed they'll hear your terror radius a lot and just not do gens.
Plus, like I said before, and so did you tbh, information cuts go both ways. Finding hatch on indoor maps is an absolute nightmare.
Also it depends on the killer; as Wraith or Doctor or Freddy a Hawkins offering basically guarantees my 4k, whilst as Nurse or Pyramid Head I'm far more likely to voluntarily use Ormond offerings because imo it's such a good map for them both. Haddonfield may perish swiftly :).

That's actually a pretty common bug rn. You can get blinds without being on the killer's screen. It's pissy but also it's dbd.
Though there definitely are people who use these aimbotd and they're honestly pathetic.

Presumably there is also a hack that allows a player to see what’s been loaded into the match via the game files (or something like that). They see something they don’t like? They can trick the game into thinking they DC’d during the loading screens, avoiding the DC penalty.
This has happened in MANY of my matches for nearly a month now.
To be fair, it definitely is a bug because its happened to me. I've been disconnected and suffered a penalty, and then my buddy im playing with says "no the match is starting" and gets dced in a couple mins. It's not like I want to dc, it just happens. It's really annoying lol.

Ok, seems like you got unlucky then. Survivors dont know in the Loading Screen that you are playing Deathslinger, so highly unlikely that they DC because of that. And when you dont burn a Mori, those are most likely actual crashes which happen. So yeah, unlucky, but nothing intentional.

Why would I play as a killer I don't find fun to play as or against when I could play Nurse or Pyramid Head or Freddy or Wraith tho? At least then I'd have some fun.
Also Poe's law applies when it isn't obvious something is satire. I think by atting the devs and asking them to tell people dcs have decreased it made it pretty obvious it was satire.

Yeah possible the first one I walked all the way across the map and there were three of them I shot one real them to the window hit him walked around the window while reloading hit him again reloading knock him down walked away to let the team heal cuz they were just standing there looking at and then the game ended second one I found a Jake shot him at a pallet hit him he ran away I shot him at a vault game ended
Yeah that seems like the thing me and @Aven_Fallen@Aven_Fallen described, where it takes the game a second to realise oh ######### someone dced and then it cancels in a bit.

People don't care about the dc penalty against Deathslinger, because they can't loop him. They'll rather take the penalty than change their stale tactic for a single match.

Also do correct me if I'm wrong, but considering how the OP is saying that "people are disconnecting and causing the game to end." they're actually referring to the bug that causes one person to disconnect from host while loading, and then the game cancels with an error 500 (Player disconnected from the game while loading) between 30 seconds to 3 minutes later. Not people just DCing because of Slinger, but because this game is perfect.

Also adding to this I've seen not_Queen and Peanits both stream quite a bit too. Queen I'm not sure about but Peanits is a rank 1 Huntress main.

The problem with uncapping FPS is if uncapped it causes bugs and inconsistencies. At least it used to, I don't know if it still does.

Here's why I hate him:
-I just want to stealth. That's not possible vs Doctor without lockers.
-Reverse skill checks are annoying to deal with when I'm trying to do literally anything else. Even having a conversation with my siblings but a check comes up and it screws me over.
-Madness is annoying. I hate the screaming so much.
-Most doctors just shock spam. Over and over at the loop without making progress. Sure, I keep looping, but again I hate the screaming.
-The VFX give me headaches.
-Most doctors I face are either console (why do that to your already ######### FPS I don't know) or from Russia, and so their hits really, really, really shouldn't connect and yet they do and it makes me sad.
So yeah that's why I hate the Doctor :)

Also, MYC on Plague? Make people one-shot on a killer who's power either doesn't work with exposed (Corrupt) or makes them one-shot forever (Vile)? Bruh this entire game sounds like a ######### show

As survivor red because I get the best teammates possible.
Not good, but the best possible.
As killer, green ranks. I don't feel too bad for the survivors because sometimes it hits the endgame screen and I see purple or red but I don't have to sweat at all and I can just foruc on ensuring everyone has a fun game.
Shane I haven't been in green ranks since literally the start of lockdown when I began playing enough to hit rank 1 consistently (before that I'd be able to hit 5 in my free time, and I'd be playing a lot more survivor).

Lerys I'd pretty much blocked out of my memory as its been (thankfully) a long time since I'd played that map. If Midwich had clear indications of generators you'd be seeing a lot less complaints about that map by survivors.
And Pyramid and Deathslinger are cancer on any map so I don't know what you're getting at there.
That final point was me saying that it's only Nurse and Huntress that are neutered on Lerys and Hawkins (and kinda The Game) and the other ranged killers are still fine on them.

Hawkins and Midwich most definitely are. The Game is until the good pallets have been dropped then its probably the most killer sided map in the game.
Heck, there's that one room on Hawkins with 2 pallets around a long shelving unit that outside of meta killers can easily be looped for upwards of a minute or even 2.
I just don't find them fun. As either killer or survivor tbh. ALso finding gens on Midwich makes me want to die.

The Game and Lery's are heavily survivor sided. The amount of safe pallets that can spawn on The Game makes Ormond a deadzone and when I get Lery's as a survivor it's looping paradise.
Midwich can go either way and Hawkins is killer sided.
Midwich is awful for both sides, The Game you can make arguments for either way, Lery's is killer sided, and so is Hawkins. As Huntress and Nurse I admit you're ######### (except Midwich Nurse which, yes uwu), but even other ranged killers like Pyramid Head and Deathslinger excell on that map (Pyramid Head because he's just very strong indoors and Slinger because he's the best ######### stealth killer in the game).

The devs have said that they aren't going p2w. That's why you can't buy shards or Bloodpoints yet, that'd make them so much money yet they don't do it. They've said they're not doing it and honestly I believe em. So far all in-game purchases except for DLC, and even some DLC, have been cosmetics only. They provide no benefit to gameplay.
