I have been playing a lot of Wraith lately to see how well his buff affects him, I have to say that I am definitely not disappointed.
I can actually sneak around without being seen while cloaked. I can literally walk up to 8 meters close to survivors before they can even notice me. I only got to go against one decent Wraith player (with less than decent teammates so I didn't see much of that Wraith), but he was able to sneak up on me on the farm map in an open area. He used a tree to close the gap with almost no warning which was clever.
That being said, he still needs work done. He is still just an m1 killer in a chase and his cloak still needs purple windstorm base kit, for starters.
"But why does he need purple windstorm base kit, wouldn't it be too strong especially with the other windstorm addons?" - He needs purple windstorm because it feels just right and is not incredibly powerful, even a Wraith with a green and purple windstorm addon is not overwhelming. Purple windstorm allows Wraith to keep up with survivors and really thrive off of his hit and run playstyle. However, it is important to note that the windstorm only helps him getting around the map, switching targets, and starting chases with survivors, he is better at getting the jump on survivors but not necessarily getting hits which allows him to be looped quite easily.
His addons are another issue, there are some that have powerful effects but are just weak and really don't have a use. Take the addons that make him kick things and vault much faster for example, what is the point of that if you can only do it when you are cloaked? How about buffing his addon that blinds survivors for 60 seconds to at least 90 seconds? Other than a select few, they just aren't strong at all.
As I said, he is still pretty weak in a chase since he has nothing but his stick little legs to help him.
I'll have you know his smol lil stick legs are adorable and perfect as is the rest of him >:(

Disclaimer: This is just for shits and giggles so please don't take it too seriously lol.
Trapper:
Nothing satisfies you more than chasing a survivor and having them run into one of your well placed traps and nothing pains you more than having a survivor step in one of your traps all the way across the map knowing full well you won't be able to get to them before they escape.
Wraith:
Your favorite addons to run are probably windstorm and you hate wide open maps where survivors can see you coming easily while in stealth. You've also said "bing bong" out loud at least once while cloaking/uncloaking.
Hillbilly:
You are extremely devoted to the killer to still main him even after his nerfs and you think his kit is the most perfectly balanced in the game. You're also likely good at landing some sick chainsaw flicks.
Nurse:
You wish they would fix her god damn bugs already! Seriously bhvr what is taking so long?!? You enjoy the fact that you were able to learn how to play the strongest/hardest killer in the game and you kinda take pride in it. You also either are or have been addicted to shadowborn at some point.
Myers:
You're (obviously) a big Halloween fan and you think he's the best stealth killer in the game despite what others may tell you. You also regularly like to play spooky Myers builds.
Hag:
You pretty much hardcore main this killer meaning you don't really like playing anyone else. Also you get a good chuckle when a survivor tries to blind you at a pallet.
Doctor:
You still sometimes have trouble timing your shock therapy at pallets no matter how many hours you put into him and half the reason you main him is because he can find blendettes so easily.
Huntress:
You love throwing hatches. When you think of playing Dbd the first thing you think of is you throwing hatchets. Chances are you've landed at least one cross map hatchet in your career.
Leatherface:
You're (obviously) a big Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan and contrary to popular belief you actually don't like camping nearly as much as people think you do. You love when a survivor tries to counter you with lockers.
Freddy:
You're either a big Nightmare on Elm Street fan or you just love how strong of a killer he is. Or both. You kinda miss old Freddy (if you were around at the time) despite how others said he was bad. Swing chains and jump rope are your best friends.
Pig:
You're either a big Saw fan or you just enjoy her kit and you think she's very underrated (and I'd agree with you). You love her stun noises and you enjoy the occasional snoot boop. Combat straps are your best friend.
Clown:
You definitely don't have a fear of clowns. You're one of the 7 clown mains in the entire playerbase. You adore his laugh. You enjoy winning games with who people reguard as the weakest killer in the game.
Spirit:
You know survivors hate you but you don't care. You think stand still mindgames never get old. Speed addons are a staple in your builds.
Legion:
You love them despite how everyone says how much they suck
(Specifically)
Frank- He's the leader and you dig that.
Joe- You just like his skins the most.
Julie- You're a simp
Susie- You're a simp
Plague:
You wanted to be a Huntress main, but you can't aim. You love getting med kits in your lobbies. You can't help but vomit on everything as the match ends.
Ghostface:
You're either a big Scream fan or you think he's the best stealth killer in the game (and I'd agree with you). Or both. You love his animations. More specifically his wipe and mori. You sympathize with his stun sigh. You're also likely a big memelord.
Demogorgon:
You're (obviously) a big Stranger Things fan. Half of the reason you main him is because you know survivors love you. Rat liver is your best friend.
Oni:
You absolutely love his design and think it's the best in the game. Everything from his power to his aesthetic. Infectious Fright is your best friend. You also likely enjoy playing Spirit as well.
Deathslinger:
You know the survivors hate you, but you don't care. You main him because he's probably the closest thing to a killer with a gun Dbd will get. Warden's keys are your best friend.
Pyramid Head: You're most likely a big Silent Hill fan or you just like how good of a killer he is. Or both. You love going for those prediction POTD hits and always try to go for them if the opportunity arises. You also think his chase music is a banger.
Blight: At first you thought he was a horrible killer but then you realized you just needed to git gud. So you did. Dead hard is your mortal enemy. You've run ruin/undying at least once.
Twins: Lol there's no such thing as Twins mains. If there are I'd assume nothing pisses them off more than being kicked as Victor.
Pyramid Head and Wraith main (and simp), can confirm.

Still responding though, so clearly you want something from me. And you have no power in your thread. In fact, you own nothing here <3
If you can't handle conversations then maybe you just want confirmation bias. That's cute I guess
Correct, I'm responding for entertainment. And you're also correct, I have no power here, but I can indeed ask nicely.
If I just wanted confirmation bias then I'd be ignoring every other response here. But I'm not. I'm upvoting them and reading them on the off-chance I actually play Pig in the future. If I just wanted confirmation bias I'd ask my close friends who share the exact same opinion as me, but I didn't- I took the question to a public forum.
Though this is entertaining, this is the last of my time I'll give you. I have better things to do than respond to someone as oblivious and hypocritical as you.
Again, have a good day. I hope I never see you in the Fog. :)

So how about instead of being sensitive... you just actually reply to someone breaking down a response to your question to pig players. Then maybe something positive can come from this exchange. If you want to be weird in the first half, let's go! But at least have something to say about the breakdown or explanation.
You see, of course I could do that if I cared to have an exchange with someone as condescending as you, but unfortunately I'd rather take no answer than get one from you. Have a good day, and kindly remove yourself from my thread.

Whenever someone mentions spirit not having counterplay, they always refer to the god spirit player who always hears everything and always 4ks. And when the spirit doesn't 4k it is because "they suck". What I want to know is where is this 4k every game spirit player? Most of the time I watch a survivor streamer play against a Spirit, it just happens to be the "bad spirit" and never the fabled "god spirit".
Please take any of my red rank solo games and you'll see exactly where they are

Do you know if your trap was the last one she had? That is the only thing I could think of that might of caused it but even that doesn't make sense to me.

GF/Pig Main. Don't boop my snoot.
Starting your post the way you did... just is way too salty lol. There are a lot of pig players. And we play pig knowing she is massively inconsistent and bottom tier. Your comment about the streamer... weird. Word of advice... check your attitude before posting on public forums. It doesn't translate well.
I'll go ahead and say a lot of times I leave people with the hat running around... but I will also tunnel you. I will get you immediately on second hook, and slug you every time you are in my pathing or use you late game to keep people off gens or coming back for you. If survivors are "body blocking me"... I get annoyed. And I will hit them and continue to come for you cause clearly they will keep wasting their time (to heal and to save you). Much better for me
A bad pig will KILL a hat wearer... a good pig will use you for mind games or stall power. It's all we have. Given most get their trap off by second attempt.
I can get you to second hook, slug you, chase everyone else, and control the game just fine. I don't do it all the time, but sometimes against a really good team who THROW THEIR GAME to protect others... is when it needs to be done.
You may not like my answer, and I don't care either way because it won't change how I play. 7/10 times you will get a fair game given I am not being trolling... but other times I just want to play a different way. One you may HATE but one that is totally legitimate.
If I'm being perfectly honest, if I cared about what other people thought of my attitude half of my comments on these forums wouldn't exist. However, I don't, and subsequently can conduct myself in whatever way I see fit.

I’d like to know too. Jk, actually most Pigs I encounter don’t do this. It was just the one that I met today that tunneled me off hook even though no one has a RBT on them and I do and there was no good reason to. I just concluded they probably weren’t very good at the game.

Why would anyone spend what is basically a "long chase time" to get a survivor killed after finding him in the very rare "managed got down him once, trap him, and the trap got activated but not yet removed or deactivated" stage?
GEEEE I WONDER WHY!! I CANNOT FOR THE LOVE OF ME FIND THE ANSWER?!
Why would ANYONE try to make the best of a pretty rare situation tied to an otherwise very mediocre part of the kit of a very mediocre killer?!
It's a sadly a mystery that we'll probably never be able to solve.
Edit: I used to be Pig Main, because I love the idea of a stealthy killer, but as many of us, I just hard swapped to the superior in any way Ghost Face. Nowadays, the only thing that makes the pig worth playing is to get thos headpop, and unless you are willing to totally throw the match, headpops are extremely hard to intentionally get.
Here's a pro tip for you survivor, if you see that the pig is trying to get your head pop, just rush to the boxes and ignore her, she'll have to stop you from using thos boxes, which means downing you, which mean no headpoping.
Yeah I honestly can't find the answer because putting yourself in that "pretty rare situation" is throwing the game and making it unfun for as many people involved as there can be lol.

This i can only answer for myself, and the reason is most likely you're a red rank surv while I'm at best a 13-14ish killer, and the lovely matchmaking has yet to toss us in together.
Also I'm East Coast US, if that matters.
I think the east coast us part is what does it cause unfortuantely the game puts me with grey ranks all the time at red rank lmao.

@NotDBD said:
Hello!
From what I have managed to understand from others is normally there are people who do it to be mean. Looking at it from other perspective from what I have heard and observed.
It's usually dependant on the progress of the overall match. If it seems like the overall pressure is low, or the gens are being completely quickly then causing more damage to one survivor, or potentially removing one survivor from the game, can be a lot more impactful.
Now, this is obviously not talking about the people who use this method from the beginning and constantly, but just from what I have seen.
Out of curiosity though, if the generators are speeding by and with one survivor already not doing those generators, would it not therefore make more sense to take a second and possibly third survivor off of those generators, allowing you to swing pressure substantially more, than allowing the three others to roam free and finish the final couple quickly?

I mean if someone's going to tunnel that's not really Killer specific.
When I play Pig, If someone leads me right next to you while you're taking your Trap off, and you're still Injured, why not bop you. Especially if for some reason you decided to stay taking the trap off while I'm right next to you.
I know it's not killer specific but it just seems to be every single Pig player I come across happens to also tunnel hard enough to get railed by a train lol.

Did they bring a key?
I'll occasionally tunnel as a desperation play. AKA all 4 of you are still alive, there's 1 gen left, and I no longer have a defendable 3 gen.
Outside of that... I have no idea why someone would actively tunnel.
I did not bring an item into the match, I did not tbag, I wasn't the first found. I didn't last the longest in a chase, nor did I last the shortest. I wasn't out of position, either. There were 4 generators remaining.
That went down to 1 after they decided to tunnel me, as I was the only person with a happy beep beep remaining on my head.
This happens every time I face a Pig and I honestly don't get it.
-
ok so why do i never get you guys in my lobbies and instead i get [REDACTED] the twat who decides tunneling is the only option as Pig lmao?
-
@swearingtulip28 said:
If they're taking the helmet off RIGHT INFRONT OF ME then yeah i'll hit them down and go for the current person that I was chasing. Other than that I might pretend to chase them so that it'll be a little easier to get a head pop
I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about dropping a current chase when you're halfway across the map just to come back and go for mr Party Hat.
-
There's actually inconsistencies between who gets caught in the traps, by the way. Male survivors will vault far enough away that they don't get caught whilst the female survivors will get their lil legs trapped.
If you want to catch them 100% of the time, leave some space. It's part of the skill ceiling to trapper and honestly I'm fine with it being there.

Yes, yes, 100% yes.
Dead Dawg Saloon as Nurse is a god-send but as Pyramid Head it's a death sentence.
Hawkins as Wraith is beautiful but for Bubba it's a nightmare.
Shelter woods? Low mobility killers really struggle because it's so massive but imho it's one of Blight's best maps.
Badham, Haddonfield, Corn, and Swamp are just... well getting one of those maps is a yikes and a half.
So yes, yes it 100% well and truly does.

Music helps me remain less angry. Sure, I could get annoyed at dbd but How You Like That just started playing and whilst I'm being facecamped it means I don't need hands on my keyboard doing things so I can just vibe. In tears.
When I'm already angry I just punch things. The wall, the desk, the chair, a pillow I've had to have placed near me specifically for this issue because my family are worried for eveyrone's health, just punch something hard that won't hurt and it calms me down really quick.
Not the best but, it is what it is. Especially with 4.5.0 existing and 4.5.1 making the desync worse.

Always has been, probably always will be unless they reduce the amount of breakable walls.
Killers now have a lot of control in the map until generators in the first floor get done and the big doors start opening
#########
I literally haven't died on that map. Once. All you need to do is hold W and drop pallet after pallet and your team has more than enough time to do every gen and win. Almost every single pallet has to be broken and the breakable walls ######### over the killer too.
That map is genuinely now one of the more survivor sided maps in dbd.
-
@Trashmaster said:
I am fairly sure that I have seen more pallets right next to eachother, which probably isn't intentional. But the pallets in the game probably are, it's an extremely killer sided map now
The Game is killer sided now? I hope you mean survivor sided because a minimum of 25 god pallets is not killer sided.
