It's never necessary, unless you want the cosmetics. The increase in rarity on your web is negligible, if it even exists at all.
-
Badham's alternates, specifically 3 & above.
-
How much progress did you get in a single match?

just wait till i find that one of pinhead with a mowhawk
Oh I’ve seen them already. I rarely felt a sensation like that, to the point where I can’t even tell what it is I’m feeling when I look at them.
Disgraceful, is the word that comes to mind.

definitely worth the amazon rainforest
I have absolutely no attachment to the Hellraiser franchise and I still feel insulted.

I don't agree it's not part of the game, all the people who block I report them. if it was part of the game we could not report them
It is, though. They are taking hits to delay you hooking their teammate, to the point where they wriggle off. It’s really that simple and can be anticipated.
Your reports are only clogging up support. Bodyblocking reports are only valid when it completely shuts down the game (that is, unable to move) for one or more players for an extended period of time, or even indefinitely. EGC blocking is also fair game.
-
Not necessarily. It’s, in my opinion, a scummy thing to do in the name of efficiency, but it doesn’t signify “bad” players. It’s just that bad players do it as well, if for entirely different reasons.
-
I never even considered the possibility of there being a range limit. Huh.
-
Please, for the love of god, let the devs think she's fine too.
-
Nothing will ever beat the "Complete 4 gens with Dark Sense" challenge. That was atrocious, especially as a near-exclusive solo player.
-
Plague has been my killer heart’s saviour in these harsh times. If only by virtue of her eliminating CoH.
Also, prayer tablet is surprisingly good for what’s essentially a meme add-on.
-
I love her, to the point where she may just be my first main.
…Which makes me dread any and all coming patches.

Currently they need longer to answer because there are many many support tickets coming in.
a new support ticket won’t solve your problem. Mandy has assured every support ticket gets answered (if it’s not about another player report as they don’t answer those if they don’t need further info)
i am also waiting on a response from a support ticket from 14th Nov…
Nov 14th? Yikes.
Begs the question how many tickets they receive in a day for it to take that long.

Until Felix came out, I played Tapp almost exclusively. No idea why Tapp, though, I just liked him from the start. Felix is a simple matter of me having a bias towards blonde males. Tapp and Felix are the only survivors I have p-3’d and have all the perks on (sans Jonah’s).
As for killer, I tend to play almost anything except Nurse and Billy, typically guided by what the daily wants from me. As for mains, I am heavily inclined to start maining Artist. I haven’t really had a ‘main’ upto this point. The closest were maybe Doc or Nemesis.
If the name wasn’t obvious, I’m a guy. And ace, if that’s at all relevant.
-
I’m not even sure whether it even realises something is different.
-
Hell no. She’s the first killer I’m considering maining. I’m having unprecedented amounts of success with her, even if she struggles with the “w meta”.
Funnily, though, I have yet to actually face her as survivor. I’ve seen two clowns for crying out loud, but no artist.
-
So... We're going back in time now? How can chapter 23 have a PTB on November 8th, when chapter 22 released on the 30th of the same month?
Either that, or they take a full year to release another chapter. Either way, it's revolutionary.

Remember when DBD Mobile had this either on launch or near enough?
Yeah...
It’s so bizarre to me how they’ve implemented them in the tutorial, yet just cannot seem to get it done in the live game. I got tea-bagged by bot-jake for a heal for crying out loud, surely their behaviour is not the issue here.
Just strip them of all their perks if that’s what it takes. I really don’t think anybody that doesn’t condone disconnecting would mind.
-
Blessing a dull totem grants the same amount of BP as blessing a hex totem does.
Oh, the humanity!
In all seriousness, I’m still of the opinion snuffed boons should just break the totem. Make the survivors actually think about where they’re putting them.
-
There was a time where we had hope that DC’ers would be replaced by “husks” or bot players, who act as normal survivors for the purpose of stats, perks, the whole shebang.
-
And then there’s me, at the time gold III, who got it second try with a hatch escape.
Huh.
-
Well, there’s gameplay abuse, and there’s facecamping.
As much as I hate it with a burning passion, I must admit that they are technically not breaking any rules. They just use what they have at their disposal, which in effect just kills the game for at least 1 player. The survivor on the hook will die, therefore the game is not held hostage. It’s scummy for sure, but technically not ‘illegal’, for the lack of a better word.
-
DC’s get (or should get) banned automatically, so you’re actually clogging support with redundant tickets.

"You are supposed to have a fair chance of winning".
SWF, cheaters, DDoS kids, maps rigged against the killer, meta-shmeta perks, CoH... there is nothing fair.
Then try to reason with killer. Hope they aren't toxic SWF member taking a break while their friends still not online.
Nobody said those are okay either.
One thing at a time.
-
I think y’all never really noticed how prevalent this is. With flashlights:
Wraith gets stunned out of his cloak.
Nurse cannot blink.
Michael cannot stalk.
Hag’s traps get destroyed.
Spirit’s husk gets destroyed, knocking her out of phasing.
Legion gets knocked out of frenzy.
Ghostface can’t stalk. (Not that he would be able to anyhow.)
Nemesis’ zombies get stunned.
Artist’s crows get destroyed.
-
Oh no.
Oh no.

Don't be a dick then? The "what are we talking about" at the end of my post made it clear I was joking around. You came at aggressive with your reply.
Ngl, I completely misinterpreted that, that's on me. As I said, it's hard to tell when someone's serious on these forums, which is something I struggle with in general.
Still not a reason to call me an idiot, though. I'm just someone on the spectrum, is all. I'll leave it at that.

It was a joke. It was obvious it was a joke. You're not too bright are you?
"It was a joke" would have sufficed too, you know.
We all know how these forums are, or any forum for that matter. No need to resort to ad hominems because someone missed out on a joke that could very well have been a serious statement.
-
Had someonelike that a few days ago as well. I heard Bill (the hacker) land next to me when I got healed from down to full, whilst I couldn't see him. Guessing they just turn themselves invisible and teleport straight to you to pick you up.
-
Oh wow. Haven’t seen fog like this in ages, even if the colour kinda clashes with the setting.

Do it. I'll get you killed out of spite. What are we talking about?
You’re already doing that already, might as well farm your ass.
-
Simple matter of quantity. If you have all teachables unlocked, there’s a hefty chance you get a ‘bad’ perk before you find what you’re looking for.
You’re just unlucky.

They teased swamp on twitter a couple weeks back, I thought. So that might be coming up this mid-chapter.
They did? That would fall out of the pattern. They typically only tease the visual overhauls with concept art and WIP images, but I don't recall seeing anything like that.
-
Double the size by stacking it on top of another floor, and then have them connected with 2 staircases on opposite sides of the map, one of which blocked by breakable walls.
-
Coup de Grâce should have had this sort of thing.
-
I think a direct hit cannot be dodged by crouching, though maybe the swarming?
-
It's highly dependent on the killer you're facing. It's useless against instadowns, but madly strong against Nemesis specifically.
-
Loving the killer, which I really didn't expect. Though, I have yet to actually face her as survivor. The map, particularly its gen spread is a tad too much.
-
It being tied to Emblems is really strange and unfair, especially when the survivor equivalent is just to escape, even through hatch.
It really should just be a 4k, with moris included.
-
I’ve definitely noticed some rubberbanding as well. For some reason, there are these slight spikes in ping every so often.
EU West, by the by.
-
It's because y'all keep calling it rift instead of tome. Nobody knows its actual name anymore and now it has begun ceasing to exist.
-
Huh. It worked just fine for me when I faced her.
-
@scenekiller said:
It’s aesthetically beautiful but WAY too massive for no real reason. Slower killers are definitely going to struggle.
If I recall correctly, it's about the same size as Father Campbell's. It's just that the building is not in the middle of the map, so that it seems bigger from one side.
-
Fun fact: we could very easily tell that they weren't done by Pinhead's actor, Doug Bradley. He's a Brit, and doesn't pronounce the /r/ in apart. The voice-actor that did DbD Pinhead does pronounce the /r/.
-
Rebuild the game from the ground up.
Include Emblem scores into the MMR assessment at the end of the match.
Stop the content cycle and just focus on the game's health. We have enough killers for the time being.

its free for one week but its been confirmed once you claim it, you have it forever. its being handed out. possibly testing moving it to f2p has been the speculation.
Well yes, but that would how it works on any platform. If you own it on steam, you have it forever...on steam.
Unless you're referring to some kind of sharing mechanism I'm unaware of?
-
Free for one week.

1) it could be fixed with better spawns. Sadly by a new map, they still didn't learn how to create totem spawns... Noone is able to change my mind that totem should be in a spot that is visible from more than 4 meters.
2) It should be same as boon. When it comes under effect, you will get icon, but you don't know which.
About 2, that’s actually the case. When a survivor gets in range of a boon totem, it says what perk(s) you’ve just entered the range of. It comes with a “Blessed” status effect, much like how hexes come with a “Cursed” status effect. In that regard, they are the same, just not in the way you described.
-
I’m curious to see what Killer people hold as the benchmark for what defines a “balanced” killer.
Not sure if all options would fit in a poll, though.
-
Is it not every alternate attack that can down?
