Trust me, I understand. I used to play old Freddy a lot as well. The difference is that old Freddy was hated by a few people, while nobody wanted Billy nerfed - not even the devs. I'd love to see old Freddy back as well; I just think Billy's change was even more unfair.

And I understand your point, my friend. Both changes were unnecessary and unfair and we deserve our killers back.

I've seen the backlash. Most people still think Freddy is boring to play as and against. If this is not enough proof that something has to be done than I don't know what is.
It is about time we get our old killer back. We deserve it!

Well, that was quick. You know, it took me a VERY long time to decide which survivor I was going to main.
It was weird, actually. Played my first few matches with Claudette, then played a little bit of Dwight, then Quentin, then Tapp, then Laurie, then back to Claudette. And this lasted for months, until I settled with Claudette... But nowadays I've changed back to Quentin :)
I don't know why I've made such a mess with survivors, because the same didn't happen with killer. I started with Freddy, and he still is my main.

Some actually argue Freddy is one of the best now so that gives me hope! Thanks I like that advice.
That actually gives me sadness and despair, because by making him stronger they removed his fun. I would literally do anything to get my old killer back. However, it is unlikely that a similar situation will happen with Trickster.

You and I are not so different.
My favourite killer was, is, and always will be Old Freddy. When I first started playing, he was regarded by many as the "worst killer" in the game. But I never believed such claims. I knew he had some hidden potential, I knew he couldn't possible be as weak as most people said he was.
Turns out I was right. Not saying he was top Tier, because he wasn't, but he was extremely underrated. And it is disheartening to think that some people didn't notice that before it was too late.

I first started playing DBD during the last Winter Solstice event, back in 2018. That menu music alone was enough to send shivers down my spine. Played a few matches as survivor before switching to killer and playing Old Freddy all day long.
If my first impression of the game could be described in one word, it would be "perfection". Because that was what made me fall in love with this game, the reason why DBD was and still is my all-time favourite.
Nowadays, things have changed a little bit. That creepy ambience we used to have is basically gone, my favourite killer is technically gone, and this list goes on. However, that doesn't mean I am not having fun, because I definitely am.

Well... I could be completely wrong. As I've said, it is based in my experience and I've seen very few optimal Twins. Most of them were easily defeated, in one instance in particular I saw Twins lose a match without getting a single hook. But who knows? Maybe they are much much better than I think they are.
And welcome to my world, btw. For a very long time I saw my favourite killer in F Tier, even though he clearly wasn't.

I know they are capable of doing that, but it is not something I actually see. I've seen Twins lose a match without getting a single hook.
The recent nerf to Victor just makes it worse, imo.

I can relate to that, or at least I try my best to. Unlike you, I don't see the need to max out a character, unless said character is my main (Freddy, for example). I can get tilted when playing, but it takes A LOT to tilt me. And as for cosmetics, I buy some of them, but I would much rather earn them during an event or something.

You play Freddy, right? You can use Ruin and Tinkerer together, and that alone will help you a lot. BBQ and Pop is also a very good combo, especially if your chases are quick.
Thanatophobia and Dying Light are not bad options, either. You can also take an unexpected path and go with Devour Hope.
Gen rush is way more sinister than what it once was, but there are some things you can do.

I hadn't played Wraith on a regular basis since late 2019, but decided to give him a shot recently and things felt so much better. I think he is in a really good spot right now.

Technically, both. Freddy has been my main ever since I first started playing DBD, prior to his rework. One of the countless reasons why I decided to main him back in the day was how unique his power was when compared to the rest of the killer roster.
I haven't dropped him after the rework because of my pre-existing love for the character, which includes his appearance.

I was surprised to see Legion and Trickster in the A tier! Is it post-game chat or BM during the game which put them there for you? My experience with most Legions and Tricksters have been that they are the most ready to show mercy and let someone go. It's so funny how different all of our experiences are!
For Trickster, it is mostly BM. But then again, I haven't faced that many Tricksters, and some of those were console players, so there is that.
For Legion, it is both and much more, even exploit abuse back in the day (Infinite Mending Legion might ring a bell).
And yeah, it is very interesting to see how different our experiences are. Such as Demo, for example. While regarded as a "good boi" by most of the community, I have seen plenty of toxic ones.

Anyone that's been playing since day one would know how awful this would be for the game, and just because you say "I've been playing since x" doesn't mean your opinion or ideas are immediately more valid or good for the game.
Indeed, not to mention that a day one player wouldn't claim that using Calm Spirit is the only way to win against Doctor.
