No problemo, hope it works out for you!

No, and please don't make another account to change your name... you can't change your name yourself... and having multiple accounts on the forums is bannable...
I can @MandyTalk @Rizzo90 and @Gcarrara for you so they can contact you personally through PMs and ask what you'd like your new name to be!
So do please wait for their response, it won't happen instantly of course.

Focus on the window, most if not ALL Survivors will not use the "god pallet" because they're afraid they can't use it effectively... or they won't waste it for another Survivor that can!
Or, they do know how to use it but won't until they know they'll get hit in a long loop. But, if general gameplay they won't drop it in the first 5 seconds of the chase... unless they're just playing... not the greatest...
Anyways, you should focus on the window and how Survivors loop around it. For one, a Survivor will usually loop around the other doorway into the shack and vault the window... and continue this loop or go around the other sides of the shack to confuse and extend the loop...
For you, if you're following from behind than you can easily figure out how to maneuver this window for an easy down or hit.
In this basic diagram of the shack, you can see that most Survivors will come from the top doorway at the lop left hand side... than loop at the window and either go around to the bottom and loop through the window again... or have a better chance of extending the loop by going from the top and continuing the basic window loop...
For you, you'll want to basically mind-game this doorway... Since most Survivors do this (If not all...) They rely on the red light you emit to know where you're going to go within the shack... what you want to do is if you know they'll vault the window... than you should face the doorway while moonwalking from the top to the right hand side corner and meet them on the other side for a hit...
Sometimes you'll get around the corner faster enough and hit them... other times they'll have a bit of room left to use the pallet... but most of the time if this is at the beginning of mid through the match.. they won't use the pallet at all 100% they won't...
So you shouldn't "respect" the pallet and should always go for the hit... even if it looks like they'll drop it... it gets the pallet out of the game if they do... and if they don't it's a free hit.
note
Some Survivors will fake the vault and know this mind-game... for you... you'll want to pier into the room to see if they're looking behind them... if they're not while vaulting the window than 9 times outta 10 they're going to vault it... if they look behind them while they're right next to the window than they're most likely going to fake the vault...
An easy way to tell is if the Survivor has an item in their hand and it vanishes while they're "sliding" towards the window (If they're at an angle they'll slide towards it to vault.) When a Survivor vaults, their item vanishes from their hand and depending on if they're at and angle they'll "magnetize" to the window and vault it... knowing this is a good way to know if they'll vault the window OR they're faking it out despite not looking behind them or not...
If they don't have an item than you use your basic judgement with the tips above...
One more thing
Some Survivors will vault from the inside of the shack and than loop around the entire shack from either side of the window... you should also be aware of this by keeping your eyes on them at all times...
If they vault from outside it's an easy hit... and you'll 9 times out of 10 hit them despite them fully vaulting the window by simply swinging at the window near the end of their mid-vault or slow vault...
tl;dr
... just uh... idk how to shorten this...
Just focus on mind-gaming the window, if they vault from outside its a guaranteed hit... (depends how close you're.)
If they vault from inside keep your eyes on them while moon-walking to the other side (Outside.) of the window and hit them... this will display your red light to them... and they'll think you're coming into the shack when you're not...
Don't be afraid to swing at the god pallet... most Survivors will NEVER waste the god pallet even if they know they'll get hit... if a Survivor wastes the pallet within the first 5 seconds of the loop or mid-way in the match than... they're either not good at that loop or they're playing in a ... not great way...
You can easily tell a "Survivors skill" because of this... since most Survivors will NOT EVER waste the pallet unless they've looped around the shack for a good chunk of time...
But that's not a 100% way to determine a survivors skill...
-
No, in fact a lot of Low-Tier Killers are mained by very good Killer mains that can utilize them... despite those Killers being the lowest on the tier... or even THE lowest on the tier list in-general.
It's all up to what you interpret as "Top-Tier" or Mid-Tier or whatever... The reason people categorize Killers in a tier list... is because they're referring to the GENERAL player-base that faces them... to some Survivors The Nurse can be easy to go against... or the same case is with the Spirit... but these tier lists are talking about the average player that faces these Killers... or "Casuals" if you will.
For me, I use every Killer (Except Nurse and Spirit because I don't want a crutch to rely on.) and I utilize them to the fullest that I can... despite their limitations... I'm not a god at the game, but my average games are usually 3ks with these low tier Killers like Pig or Wraith... That's average for all my Killers btw, i'll get a 4k every now and then... or even a lot... it depends honestly on the Survivors you're facing and the Killer you're using... Like if you use Spirit and you know how to use basic M1 Killers than you'll most likely 4k...
If you use Pig on a SWFs or Coordinated team... than you'll have a good challenge and you won't just steam roll the match... because the Survivors know what they're doing...
Most of the time you won't get these teams sadly, and it's just one or two good Survivors on the team... but it all really depends on your teams coordination that makes a "good team" vs a bad team.
(This is at Red Ranks Rank 1 btw... but like I said this isn't bragging or anything.)
But enough of all that... the point is, if you think Clown is a good Killer and you can use them to the fullest while keeping a pretty good average ratio of Kills... than MORE POWER TO YA! Red Ranks and ranks in-general could use more Clowns anyways... it's mostly drowned out by Spirit (In Red Ranks at least...) So the variety is welcomed!

BHVR saves your account progress and info on their own cloud servers now... in the past it was on your PC... but this isn't the case anymore.
Like some have said, the worst case scenario is some files will be corrupted... but you can easily just verify these files in the same image you've provided and those files will be restored.
-
Everything can be changed in the future... whether that's close from now or far is unknown...
As Boosted_Dwight has said, there are no future plans that have been announced by the dev team... so if there is anything that'll be changed with her soon... it's unknown.
But, there hasn't been an official announcement on this so it's unlikely.
-
Of course you shouldn't accept that, every player starts from the bottom... even the best were once the worst...
You'll eventually get to the top of the rankings my man, it takes some time and not everyone gets there at the same pace... but it'll happen if you keep at it... you'll notice as time goes on with your role that things... tend to play out the same...
And being on every map constantly will give you a fresh concept of what to do in a match... but it'll also help you learn each time you go back to those specific maps... you'll eventually know the spawn points of all the pallets, where to go, what're the worst pallets to use, etc...
(This is kind of off-topic but...) if you're having issues with tiles and basic map geometry... than i'll link you a video that should help you for sure! It goes over all map tiles that're basic to every map... and you'll learn a lot more about how to effective use pallets and windows within those loops and even some others!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6QYjInzLeM&t=10sPlease do watch this video, it'll help you out and teach you some things you may not of known!
Good luck!

We don't know how the new system will work at the moment...
For all we know the ranking system will still keep the same fundamentals... but they'll add on to it... so we'll see more than just those ranks...
Whether they retire the achievements because of this is unknown or not... since we don't 100% know what they'll even be doing yet. You'll sadly not get a 100% answer for this question i'm afraid... since like I said a few times now... that info on the new ranking system is unknown.
But, they've never retired achievements before (at least to my knowledge.) They've however changed them... Like when Freddy was reworked they changed some of his achievement requirements to match his current power...
So that's what they'll MOST LIKELY do if the ranking system throws away the 20, 15, 10, 5, 1, ranking system or whatever.

If you're on console than some consoles users are suffering from severe lag for both sides at the moment...
If you're not, than it probably has to either do with the motels connection to BHVRs servers (Since the connection relies on the connection TO BHVRs servers now... it isn't hosted by the Killer anymore... and the connection isn't linked to the Killer as the Survivor either... it all depends on the connection to the hosts servers now...)
Sometimes, the connection says it's green and "70 ping" when in reality it isn't... or the game tends to spike during a match as a result... this probably just has something to do with the internet itself...
On the off chance, it could also be caused by patch 3.3.2... since a few issues have risen after the patches release... But that's unlikely.
You'll probably not get a 100% answer on the issue here... but if you submit a ticket with the support team than you'll most likely have better odds there...
If you do go down that route, here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
Take what I said with a grain of salt since this could not be the reason behind this at all... but it could very well be as well... it's unknown since there are many factors to how the connection behaves in-game now...
-
This seems to be a common issue with PS4 and in-general consoles at the moment... It probably has something to do with Patch 3.3.2... or something a long those lines.
If you feel it's a personal issue with your internet or PS4 itself... you can submit a ticket with the support team so they can review this issue and give you a 100% answer on your issue... That's if you don't want to take my word for it, or if you're curious to know if it's a personal issue... and not just an issue for other console users...
Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
If you do decide to submit a ticket than good luck! I hope it goes well.

Use Detectives Hunch + Any Map for the best results with finding totems...
The map can easily mark down the auras of any totems nearby... even if you didn't look at them... if you walked past them it'll count as being marked down on the map... with Detectives Hunch you'll mark down most things nearby... and they'll be saved in your map.
Also, use Small Game if you want an even easier time finding totems... if you don't already with Detectives Hunch + Any map...

Now, here's where the rule gets tricky.
Holding the game hostage refers to a Killer or sometimes a Survivor... keeping you or another player in a specific small room or corner in which they can't escape from...
The Survivor doesn't move at all, and the Killer doesn't hit you with his weapon. It's less likely for a Survivor to pull this off since the Killer will just hit you both when he sees the crows and notifications... but if the Killer is on board with this for some reason and doesn't hit the Survivor off you... than it can technically be considered "Holding the Game Hostage"
Now, here's where the main part of the rule comes in. For the most part, this rule applies to Killers except for the rare circumstance above... which is highly unlikely to ever happen in-game.
Anyways, for a Killer to trap a Survivor in a corner or a small room and not moving until the Survivor is forced to DC... than that's holding the game hostage... If the Killer doesn't move from that spot for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or even 30 minutes... than that's holding the game hostage... regardless if the Survivor DCs or not.
Now, in your case, the Killer didn't move from the staircase what-so-ever... and in that time you had an option to activate the last generator and power the exit gates. If the Killer proceeded to move after that generator was activated, than that's not holding the game hostage... It's just bad sportsmanship which you can still report them for.
If he still didn't move for say... 5... 10... 15 minutes... but than downed you all and killed you... than that's holding the game hostage.
The reason the 1st part where he moves after the generator isn't holding the game hostage... is because he allowed you to do the generator and didn't stop it... that's his loss... than he moved because of NOED or his chainsaw for a free down or whatever... By doing so, he's only going to get one down most likely, and if he downs both of you than that's unlucky...
It's not holding the game hostage since he moved and the generator was done... which progressed the match... in any case, he was going to down one of you anyways upstairs... so by moving after the generator was done... basically fed you points and possible an escape.
I suppose you could report him for trolling or bad sportsmanship... but if he moved after the generator was done... than that's not holding the game hostage since he progress the match by downing one of you...
If he didn't and stood there for a decent length of time, than it IS taking the game hostage since he's wasting time for everyone... and not letting the game progress.
-
Well, as the add-on says... it only works when you're holding it.
I can vouch for that since I noticed a significant speed increase compared to the base speed when I was holding the Corrupt Purge...
But I don't really use Corrupt Purge a lot in-game since nobody heals enough for the add-ons to be useful... But, how do I know this is true? Well, I commonly use Incensed Ointment on Plague as well... and like Worship Tablet, that add-on also gives a significant speed boost when you're holding Vile Purge! But, it's only slightly compared to Worship Tablets "Moderate" speed boost when holding Corrupt Purge... So, by knowing this... the same thing applies to Worship Tablet since it's basically doing the same thing... but for Corrupt Purge, NOT Vile Purge.
-
DBD doesn't host any tournaments... at least not officially under BHVR themselves. The closest thing to an official "tournament" is on the official DBD discord... there, people host their own tournaments or contests... but that's about it.
As far as an official tournament... no... PS4 won't be seeing those any time soon... But who knows, maybe we'll get a tournament in the future... but it's unlikely because of how the game is structured.
I'll give you the Discord link if you're interested, I can promise if they've ever hosted tournaments on PS4 or in-general... but its worth a try!
Here's the DBD Discord link: https://discord.gg/deadbydaylight

What Kuro said above, the next Tome won't release until November 13th (The same day the event ends as well...)
If you're curious about Tome lll and Tome Vls release days, you can find them in the "News" section in the main menu in the game itself... Once you're at the main menu and you clicked on the "News" section below, than you'll have to scroll down through the patch notes and find the section on "The Archives." In that section it'll tell you all about the dates for the next 3 tomes.

It was, but not to this extent. Dedicated servers, as anyone with a brain expected, exacerbated the situation despite devs telling us it would improve things.
Yes, to this extent even before Dedicated Servers came out.
I know it's easy to say Dedicated Servers is causing this... but it's much more than DS's when it comes to the lunges in this game. They're all by default the same, and no matter what people think... that's 100% how it is...
Some people perceive the lunge to be "broken" or "too long" because their hitbox had to be extended to accomplish this feat... that's why Freddy's always looks odd... Same with Hag... but the lunge has always been able to go behind the pallet to hit you on the other side... even if you stun the Killer.
Also, another note. It also has to do with 3rd person vs 1st person... so to the Killer the attack hit, but to the Survivors that's not the case.
-
Probably.

Get dedicated servered!
This was pretty common, even before Dedicated Servers came out.
-
The lunge in this game is always wonky when it comes to pallet drop hits...
This isn't surprising and I've had it happen to me a fair bit of times while playing Survivor... post patch 3.3.1 and before that also...
I don't think its her lunge per say... I think it's just the issue with how the lunge works at pallets in-general.

Thanks a lot for the info! I'm in not in a massive rush but glad to hear it's going to jump right up with the other platforms. I wonder if that means the release of Nightmare and Cannibal as well.
Well, the reason cannibal and Nightmare are not in the switch version could be caused by many things... licensing issues for one is the main issue...
And maybe Nintendo doesn't want them there anyways...
But it's good to hope for the future! I mean, Bill came to the other consoles so why not Freddy and Bubba?

Status Update on the Nintendo Switch
We are still working on getting the update ready for the Nintendo Switch. In testing, we discovered some platform specific issues that prevented us from releasing the mid-chapter at the same time as other platforms. We are currently testing a potential build and hope to release it as soon as we are confident with its performance. The Switch will jump straight to version 3.2.2 when the update goes live.

To put your suspicions to rest, I compiled this short video to confirm the answer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGTQ_ao-gMc&feature=youtu.beBasically, I had my friend sit around the corner as the Pig and crouch two times to see if the Terror Radius would fade out or not...
The answer is, YES! It still fades out into 0 Terror Radius... The Undetectable Status effect doesn't kick in until the end of the crouching animation... so they snuck the status effect into her crouch without taking away from that mechanic!
What that means is, the status effect doesn't come in until she's basically at the end of crouching... than it turns on. Before, she would crouch and than the Terror Radius would turn off after a few seconds... as you can see in the video this still happens... (It seems to be faster though but that's debatable.)
This should 100% answer your question! (We did this without the crouching add-ons btw... if you use the crouching add-ons than the status effect will turn on a lot quicker because the crouching animation is quicker...)

it's technically not functioning properly regardless since it says to "kill" by any means necessary. The keyword kill is different than the keyword sacrifice. there is a clear distinction here set by the game itself...accordingly, Having it properly set to "kill " would not negate the "by any means necessary" part, since there are multiple ways to "kill" survivors
put them into dying state and have them bleed out
mori them (there are 3 options for this, kill the last survivor, kill the last 2 survivors you hooked, and kill all survivors you hooked.)
Certain perks that allow you to kill the survivors after meeting conditions.
The fact the game is recognizing a sacrifice as a kill or a dc as a kill, isn't technically the way it should be functioning at all according to the games keywords. Under normal circumstances, a dcing survivor does not count as a sacrifice or a kill (you lose points for them doing this) so why it is functioning this way is beyond me. I think the way it is currently set up is actually harder than just going in there with a perk or a irridiscent mori anyway since doing this is typically a lot easier than just getting merciless and sacrificing anyone.
On the other hand, the way it works right now, all you have to do is join with a mori and everyone will just dc instantly completing the challenge...
sooo..might want to fix that ? although i think they just did in the patch.
It's most likely a mistake on BHVRs part when making this challenge... I guess they forgot to not add DC "deaths" as points towards the challenge...
It's kind of like... not the hardest challenge anyways considering all you have to do is 4k... and if you're the worst Killer in the game you'll still eventually get a 4k one of these matches...
But still, I don't know why it's counting DCings... i'll @Peanits so he's aware of this issue, otherwise idk.
-
It could happen, but the possibility is unlikely... we've never had a Killer from another game before... (We've had a character from another game, but that's from valve themselves...) And that could be because it'll clash with the two studios on the license, the killer, etc... so that's probably why we've never had something like that...
It's honestly unknown if we'll ever get those two as an option, but it could happen!
-
Your PC is probably clashing with patch 3.3.1 for some reason (If that wasn't obvious already...)
Perhaps it has something to do with your settings, or your PC is just having issues at the moment... Whatever the cause maybe, I can't give you an exact answer myself.
but...
I can link you to the support team, if anyone knows about issues like these it's them! So please click the link i'm going to provide, submit a ticket in detail about your issue, wait patiently, and discuss the issue with them afterwards!
Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
The support team maybe busy... so don't be discouraged if they don't answer your question right away! Good luck!

I found what Peanits was saying in regards to the removal of the harvester tech in the PTB and since its still removed... it still qualifies now.
Quote from a post called "Harvester Tech has been completely removed in the PTB"
As you can see, the change wasn't an intentional change in the PTB or the final product... it wasn't really something on their mind (Since the whole... Halloween push back with The Archives happened) so that could explain why it wasn't fixed.
-
I don't know what Hinoutoumei is saying but... they've said in someones post on this exact issue that the harvester tech wasn't an intentional fix... it was more so accidental.
If I find the exact comment they said i'll make another comment with it, otherwise you'll have to just take my word for it... the removal of that tech wasn't intentional at all... and you still can sometimes do it but its just extremely hard.
-
There is no minimum number of games to max the rifts tier lists, and no you don't have to complete every tome to max it out.
You'll eventually get to tier 70 within the 65 days left that're provided... (Of course if you play casually or just semi-regularly... The Rift rewards the consistency.
Also, the reason I say there is no minimum number of games is because i'm going off of how all players play and how some matches end longer or shorter... its entirely unknown who would be done with The Rift because of this...
If it's 800 EXP perk map, and you average idk... 300 EXP a match? that's... 3 ish matches to get 1 shard, and it's about 15 or 10 to get one tier depending on where you're on that tier? And we don't even know if the higher tiers require more shards... which i'm assuming they do.
So... yeah... I wouldn't think too much into this.

@FireHazard Thanks, I think you are right. I hadn't used him since the last double-bloodpoint event (and he was fine then). I only picked him for his ability to generate bloodpoints so well. I had to switch to Wraith instead.
Even when frame-rates were at their worst, they were never this bad.
Probably just some optimization errors or something along those lines.
I'm sure they'll get it fixed soon... in the mean time you should file it as a bug report if anything... since it is kind of game breaking when you use him specifically or maybe even facing him?

@MissBehavingX said:
Fixing issues shouldn't mean increasing the volume, just fixing what caused them not to work properly. I don't think the audio needed to be increased, now it's way too easy for killers to hear them even inside lockers. Before you really had to pay attention to realize someone was hiding, when I played killer today I heard them inside lockers super easy
It be how it do, I agree the sounds are a bit too loud... but I think the intentions was to help with tracking Survivors with sounds... since before they sometimes bugged out.
Of course though, increasing the sound won't really fix the issue (Which is why they fixed the bug in-general.) but I suppose its to help people with... not the greatest hearing.
-
They fixed the sounds in one of the recent patches... since before some of the sounds were bugged and you couldn't hear Survivors or other things in a match... (Sometimes.)
Now they increased the volume and fixed these bugs. It's kind of loud yes, but it was definitely to help with those issues in the past with audio bugging out...
-
It's as the challenge describes... you kick the same generator twice before it's finished... it doesn't matter how long you take or anything.
As long as you kick the same generator twice before it's finished it'll count towards the challenge and you'll be done! If the issue still persists after you've obviously done what the challenge asks... than I advice you go to the support team about this since it may be bugged.
Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
First, make sure you have the challenge selected... than you need to be 100% sure that you've kicked the same generator twice, kick it three times or four times if you can. Go try this out in a match and kick a generator twice.. fast or slow... as long as you do it before it's completed it'll count... (I suggest bringing Pop Goes the Weasel to make this challenge 10x easier... so you'll be able to kick a generator twice with ease.)
If it doesn't finish the challenge after you've done so... than click the link and submit a ticket about your issue so they can fix it!
-
This comment was edited to fit the correct answer
Basically, the video below will show you that the fade out still exists!
So the answer to this question is... the Terror Radius still fades out into 0 Terror Radius like before.
-
Yes since you cleanse totems 3%/6%/9% faster with Resilience... but the "counter" isn't that much due to the fact that each token on Thrill of the Hunt reduces cleansing speed by 4%/5%/6% for each token that's left...
So... with Tier lll Thrill of the Hunt with 5 tokens on the field... Tier lll resilience would only be shaving off 9% of that 30% cleansing speed reduction... making it only 21% instead of the default 30% with 5 tokens active.
And despite it being a counter, it's not really worth using since you have to be injured to get that cleansing speed increase... which when on a hex totem or totem in-general is... a bad idea...

If you or anyone has ideas for the Survivor side of things that'd be awesome.
@Boosted_Dwight or @Elk might.
I'd like to give them a chance to give their opinions on that side, since I main Killer but play both sides... So I could do the same for Survivor... but why not let someone else get an idea in?
They main Survivor (As far as I'm aware.)
-
Uh... Trapper could have NOED, Wraith can have Unrelenting (Cause the picture for it is literally his weapon.), Nurse can have Whispers because it's associated with noise and breathing (Kind of like... you know... her powers point to work off of "Breaths" or something.), Billy can have Sloppy butcher because he's a butcher... (He slaughters cows, not as like a meat packer but for his own "pleasure")
LeatherFace can have Monstrous Shrine for... obvious reasons, Huntress can have Deerstalker cause shes... a hunter, and whatever is left in base-kit can be chosen by you... or you can use copies of the same perk for some Killers idk.
Hope this helps. I think?
-
If you completed both Tomes completely (I'm assuming you did both completely or exactly the same) than you should have the same amount of serums for both accounts.
Please contact support about this issue, The Rift must of neglected to give you a few serums... so please do submit a ticket on this.
Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
Like I said, if you did do both of them the exact same way but got a different amount of serums than submit the ticket... if you did both of them in a completely different way with less or more challenges completed... than don't submit a ticket.
That just means you have less challenges completed on one account.
-
A roll back is exactly what it is as explained... a roll back...
Like, stalking as Myers and going into Tier lll and instantly being pushed back into Tier ll... that's a roll back!
Having your movement speed capped at the movement speed you had when carrying someone to the hook... than it lingers for the entire match until you hook someone again, that's a roll back! (This happened to be actually... was horrible.)
Vaulting a window and being teleported back to the other said, that's a roll back!
That's what I mean by roll backs caused by Dedicated Servers. (Most of these examples and other known issues have been fixed) Some issues still exist but they're less often now... the point is this happens... and that's what I mean by a "roll back."

I can't exactly fix your issue as I have no knowledge on where to even start with this specific error...
My best advice to give you is to go to the support team about this and submit a ticket with your issue... if anyone knows about issues like these, it's the support team!
Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
Good luck with your issue!

Don't be discouraged! That version of DBD is still quite new, and due to the licensing issues with some Killers... you won't be receiving them any time soon!
As for the event and Archives, the Switch version has a lot less data in the game itself... and it's most likely being worked on to add that into the Switch version for the future! You might not get the event but you'll eventually get The Archives when they figure that out.
(Note, this is speculation though... and official statement has not yet been said. So please take what I said with a grain of salt.)

DCs are not really kills, and despite the challenge saying "By any means necessary' having three people or two DC will not get the challenge done.
For some reason if you kill 3 Survivors with a mori or sacrifice and the 4th DCs... it still counts and the challenge is finished. Perhaps that's a fail safe for the challenge but... someone had that exact thing happen to them so...
Just play matches regularly and you'll eventually get a 4k... if you want to speed things up than you can just mori them all in the match since it says in the challenge "By any means necessary"

Your answer is already... answered, but the next Tome (Tome ll) won't open until November 13th (FYI.)
If you want all the Tome dates for the next 3 upcoming tomes you can find them in the news section in the main menu (In the game itself) and scroll down to the part about the archives among the patch notes!

They're just for decoration... that's about it. They don't have any bonuses, powers, negative effects, or anything like that... it's just like a skin... but for hooks! It doesn't do anything for the overall character or game itself.
You keep all the charms you unlock and you can mix and match them in the customization tab where you would change your skins normally. They're quite cute and give a sort of "atmosphere" to the hook about who the Killer is....
Ok, maybe not really that but... it's more so for the style!

Well, we've established where and why the PS4 has its limitations, but to be specific about the Killer itself and why he's more laggy is a bit different.
For once, Doctor usually has a lot of visual effects that don't work well on consoles for... obvious reasons since they tend to drop the already not that stable FPS (As of the patches atm, the console versions are fine with FPS... kinda.)
Anyways, that could attribute to the frames loss but the power could also be an issue as well... the AOE effect of his shock must hit the hardware pretty hard when it happens... and it seems both those issues with the visuals and the power are not ... optimized very well.... at least on console because console has had a history of FPS drops and bad optimization.
So, this kind of makes sense to why this happens...

It's based on your connection to the servers itself... So for example I get green pink because I live pretty close to Canada while being in the US!
Canada is where their servers are based (Unless i'm mistaken) and it by default now works off of that connection for both sides... It no longer works off of the Killers connection as a whole.
It's not really lying at all actually, the servers sometimes roll back or delay because they're not completely polished yet... it's less about connection and more so the servers themselves... the connection is correct it's just the servers not really responding too well to it.

The system was changed so now if you're a Killer or Survivor you search for an open lobby to inhabit together... before the Killer would open the lobby and Survivors would join that lobby... But now both sides have to join a lobby... that's how Survivors are able to be in a lobby together with no Killer present... the lobby is currently looking for a Killer to join that lobby.
With low ranks like rank 18... it takes awhile to find a match due to hardly anyone being in that rank, and since it's late into rank reset that issue becomes more apparent. Once rank reset occurs you'll see a bit more players in that rank again... so the queue times will slightly improve... but that's about it.
Grey and Yellow ranks always take a long time due to that issue, so until you hit Green ranks this issue won't really change.
