  • Yeah they do, still winning though.

Biggest issues I have with it is more my team, like how can this killer kick all these gens and still down my team in a few seconds...

Having a bad team definitely makes this perk worse and that's why it's a pain in solo Q as teammates are just random

Clearly you've never played world of tanks, or league of legends. There are communities far more toxic than dbd that have VC. Tbh I've found the dbd community pretty chill in comparison to most. I get a lot of Ggs and chill chats after games even when I've been smashing as killer. Hell i even had someone chatting to me after a rough game where i secured a 2k by facecamping with oni, they said they understood why I did it because they gen rushed so hard 🤣

Barely get ggs, especially as killer. Only game I find myself getting harassed and hate on a consistent basis and I dont even BM in anyway.

Though people usually send hate when they lose and I tend to win, though I get salty teammates very often even have some funny messages shared on the forums about it

  • Bring a medkit or do a gen injured.

You dont have to be healthy to progress the match...

Solo Q would be better if I could avoid people that DC, suicide or run selfcare. Even before the patch it was an awful perk that took ages and most people cant lead a chase longer than the time it takes to heal so if anything it just hurts us more

Luckily I barely see selfcare users, everyone does medkits or gens injured

  • Oh no, not a basic attack killer! How will we manage!

It's so unfair killers have weapons and perks

How do you figure that? It's not like dbd players only play dbd specifically. I'd wager that over 95% of dbd players have played other multiplayer games with voice chat.

I always find this particular argument against VC weird. Toxicity will ALWAYS be present in online gaming. It's an unpleasant but immutable fact. But VC is a standard feature in practically every multiplayer game. DBD is not a special case, the community if anything is less toxic than a lot of other games in my experience. And I have done a LOT of online gaming over the years.

DBD is just naturally more toxic and filled with people that complain alot.

You will get micro management, people screaming, moaning, crying, raging at the team, blaming people, etc.

I can play say halo infinite for months and bot come across someone talking **** ,sure it can happen in all games but DBD would be so common and I'd rather against it plus coms kills stealth which is a fun part of the game unless people wanna see less perks and killers used than already is

Killers aren't really fine, the game is unbalanced and heavily killer sided which is what devs want and this means that survivor DC's and hook suicides are inevitable. You can't just provide for one side and not expect the other side to be fed up at times. Take Wesker for example, his kill rate is 65% which is absurdly high and already hearing his terror radius with this information makes the round immediately less fun, combine this with a bad map and bad teammates and it makes the round miserable.

Games survivor sided actually, survivors have every tool possible to become the power role and are at the higher level, you also cant use the awful stats for so many reasons.

    OP calling us "entitled"

People work and study every single day. I haven't had a SINGLE break in 8 days.

You think we care what you think? In the little free time people have, we want to have fun

You are, you are queueing up for a game knows the possible outcomes and quitting over certain maps, killers, perks or even going down fast is entitled.

And you know what makes it worse, some of us do actually work and THEN HAVE TO DEAL WITH RAGE QUITTING ENTITLED PLAYERS when we ourselves are trying to have fun but oh no it's okay for you to ruin 3 people fun consistently without a better punishment... sure sounds entitled.

One thing that comes to mind would be that you can outright tell the game 'don't put me in matches with killer X', and have it a limited number (like a max of 5 or such).

The other part of this is something that has come up before: the game needs to start punishing scummy behavior (and reward good one). The mechanics to do so are there, several perks and abilities use them already.

It would be a ton of finetuning, though

So most players just mark the top 5 strongest killers making those killers wait ages for lobbies and basically kill chapters people have brought. Because you know well enough people will abuse it that way.

Even if it was 1 nurse players would majority be picked basically making her void in games (though I'd personally go trapper)

A better system would be nor able to verse the same killer multiple times in a row, that's something I can get behind.

Keep in mind MMR is about long term averages over strings of games. On average if you loop a killer all day you’ll escape more often than you don’t. MMR isn’t meant to address individual people being afk in specific matches, it’s meant to look at your averages over a lot of matches and get a ballpark bracket for the algorithm to pair you up,

That said I do think DbD suffers from not having a clearly defined win and loss condition for the match as a whole where it declares “You Win!” or “You Lose!” at the end. Instead it has all these weird scoring systems and metrics and the Entity telling you how it feels that day and this annoying semi-cooperative thing of “maybe the survivors win as a team but maybe not”. And while this MMR change is a step toward saying the survivors win or lose as a team the devs seem to be hedging their bets and saying “well they win or lose as a team but not really because it’s still all individual wins and losses.” I honestly think the game would have been better served as a whole if from the get go there was a crystal clear win/loss condition for the survivors as a group. It would have given them their objective MMR group win loss metric, plus it would also have helped mitigate some or the sandbagging and ragequitting and such from players who throw the game for everybody else simply because they got downed. It’s water under the bridge at this point though. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah see I'd like to believe that and I usually do often escape but after having 16games in a row with a DC/ragequit very early I dont think that's always the case lol.

I dunno I preferred the emblem system it just needed tweaks. At least that way I was always award for my personal contribution even in a dead game that I was never gonna win from the get go and I knew I was rewarded most of the time for how I played.

Let's not forget that matchmaking is not working that well either. It is like a wheel of fortune at this point.

Yeah most definitely especially as a solo Q player. One game get a team with a brain, next game they cant even hit basic skillchecks lol

  • Far to many people to reply to so apologies for that.

But if you support DCing or giving up you are also a problem, it's not a balance, matchmaking or even fun issue. Theres 0 way you can tell all that within the first min of a game and these entitlement players are dcing because something isnt instantly going their way.

I dont see killers DCings over every map, certain items, perks or even items unlike I'm seeing my survivor team do.

Every other game bans people that constantly leave far more severely and a DC often doesnt matter as much in a shooter because its 1 less person to boost the enemy K/D. DBD is a 4v1 as soon as it's a 3v1 early on it's a lost cause.

And it's quite clear these people are DCing and not issues, i have even messaged some and they say why. And stop saying "we cant ban people what if it's an internet issue" well your internet issues wont persist constantly and if you know you are having issues DONT PLAY.

I shouldn't of played 16 survivor games in a row with a DC/suicide because of stupid entitlement like they didnt like the map, killer or went down fast.

  • @zumer said:

it won't solve the problem. so that people don't dc it is necessary for matchmaking to work not only for the killer but also for the survivors. if the killer loses, they give him weak survivors. if the survivor loses, then they don’t give him a weak killer.

What are you on about? I'm lost what any of that has to do with entitled players giving up over silly things and ruining every game?

Matchmaking wont matter if you never get an actual game to play, cant win a 3v1 straight of the bat or even a 2v1

I really don´t know. All i know is, that the amount of people doing exactly this has been really high since 6.1.0 and there doesn´t seem to be a logic explanation. As my teammates suicide for absolute 0 reason. Like when we are about to win. Or when the killer is at the other end of the map and someone is already coming for the rescue.

Yeah I dont get it, that's like the game I had verse legion where we had 1 gen left and legion had 3hooks and someone kills themselves on first hook... like why? Lol

Because the game is getting to the point where people are never satisfied unless their winning, and so when they feel something is hopeless (like for example an early hook/ lots of hooks early) they want to go next.

its not good, but its understandable.

But they only have themselves to blame for early hits and down and it certainly doesnt give them a reason to ruin so many games...

But it's okay I'm playing killer now, dont usually as I'm a survivor main but everyone is dcing verse me as well and I go for hooks so I dunno

  • Be disabled and never used again like old ones.

Big reason I try my best not to hoard too many, wouldn't be bad I'd they was reusable every year but they arent...

  • I'm on 100% of games today has had this so...

I dunno I'm getting fed up of this garbage, I just want to play a normal game but I cant and the game just keeps punishing me for it.

  • Too fast and not long enough.

You could probably just play, if played 9 games and every game has had a DC so clearly it's not tthat impactful

The challenge I am sure was bugged was the one that required escaping. Not sure if they fixed it.

It seems to be alot of challenges, sometimes swapping challenges/resetting the game fixes it but definitely shouldn't have to do that

Mostly it's just rng and luck tbh not much skill

  • @Bot_Salvo88 said:

There's a bug with challenges where you have to select a different challenge and then go back to the previous one in order to make it work. It's not tied to the survivors from what I know.

In the past they were tied to certain maps. Some challenges didn't work on newer maps but now they all should work except the challenge to hide in a locker after "x" seconds of being in chase. That doesn't work since forever now. It's been acknowledged months ago and it's still broken.

Strange, I got that locker one awhile ago so that must be newish.

But i was doing the repair gens with a toolbox (I'm behind on challenges lol) but i tried so many things and nothing worked but swapping characters tried like 6different things before swapping too.

Then my next challenge 0 progress as rebecca so i have swapped character to test again

  • While I cant see how you play, I would imagine you arent quite understanding all her counters and how best to play against her.

Most artists play her bad and/or the weakest way to play her as setup. Though I do see alot of people get hit long range or fall for obvious plays which really shouldn't be the case

  • @HoodedWildKard said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3249498#Comment_3249498

I feel like that also depends a lot on your mmr. Climbing solo q for newer players is extremely difficult because bad teammates mean you get killed, keeping your mmr poor. Even one substandard survivor on a team can throw the game. I have two regular swf teammates and we find our 4th more often than not is actively detrimental to us.

Oh definitely, this is a reason I was against mmr and constantly say the data means nothing.

The game isnt balanced for the better players to have a fun game and newer players are stuck with bad players even if they get better. Would of been much better to keep newer players separate for so long then let them dive into a more mixed game that isnt so set on mmr.

Apparently my solo survivor is quite the opposite experience for most players as alot of games can be quite easy or just end up winning if the killer doesnt play in certain ways most survivors dont like. I'll still get the complete unwinnable games because of bad matchmaking though and I have no idea how I can be put with 3 survivors that just do nothing all game lol.

But from my experience as solo survivor (and killer on the rare occasion) survivors seem to be good and usually the advantage

You'll be surprised how often people arent doing gens, don't understand counters or perks and will often give up. No doubt nurse is strong but she is beatable it just requires your team to play and have an understanding and it's pretty smooth sailing as not all nurses are gods.

You're more likely to run into a swf you could never beat than a nurse especially the higher mmr you go.

Yeah I doubt that. Even in high mmr most player's are not very good. What's more likely, one good killer player on nurse or 4 good survivor players? imo I the good nurse player is way more likely. In rregards to the unbeatable 4 mans I guess it also depends what killer you are playing and what build you are running. If you are playing m1 killer's even with full gen kick build I guess even decent 4 mans would be impossible. I also think a lot of the swf's people think are good are just running really, really busted builds and not actually good in chase.

Doesnt need to be a swf, just a decent team and I'm honestly not sure why so many people say there arent many good survivors when there are mainly because it's not tthat difficult.

I play solo constantly, while I may not personally escape every game (though I escape way more than I die) I see plenty of good survivors just most people only remember the bad teammates and I focus on that too.

I'll have many games where the team I'm on stomp the killer and forget about it because not much happened but I'll soon remember the team that did nothing all game while I did long chases.

My point was as long as survivors have understanding and can actually loop/do gens then they have a good chance at winning against most killers even nurse at the same level, not all nurses are that amazing just alot of survivors are worse

Edit: look at Scourage:pain, some survivors are still oblivious to letting go just before the hook, it's not difficult at all people are just lazy... and if you're lazy you will likely lose

  • Congrats! Keep at it soon you'll be beating them more often!

  • @Canas said:

Take a look at these survivor builds. They were done with repairing all gens in five minutes or so.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/9QJ2OXN2E7BT/are-you-kidding-me.png

It's abundantly clear that survivors still have access to gamebreaking builds which invalidate any hope the killer could have at fullfilling his own objective. Now stack these odds with an extremely survivor sided map (Ormond) and voice comms/SWF and the game becomes entirely unwinnable.

Hey a 5min game with all that stuff is pretty slow so it could be worse...

Edit: you had dead lock, that's what saved you some time. This is why I use gen defense though because a efficient team doesnt need all that for a 5min game without gen defense

  • Yes it does? It's on all my builds...

When injured you can do everything faster even vaults which can help in chases.

If you are smart you 99 heal then you get resilience on gens then just finish yourself off with a medkit if the killer pushes you off (you dont need coms you can just run at the last second and itll force stop another player healing you)

It's a beast of a perk for so many situations, maybe you're thinking of a different perk or just not understanding how impactful and useful it is

  • @Peanits said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3246146#Comment_3246146

Not quite, I would say. Years ago when something like this was added, the game was totally different. Instablinds were still a thing and blind angles were even wider. Getting into position in time was almost a non-factor since you could get there last second and still get the blind. It also queued stuns for the entire duration, not just a 0.25 second window.

Compare that to now, you need to be in position fairly quickly or you absolutely will not have enough time to get the save. This doesn't give you more time to get into position, it only makes the timing a little less frame perfect. For folks that already know the timing, it makes practically no difference: they would have gotten the save with or without it.

Okay well that's good to hear, I'll look forward to testing out the changes when we are able to.

As long as it's not to easy that's fine, the last thing I want is for them to be to easy for all players. I'd rather them be a skill thing considering how impactful they are than a "i was just in position so i get an easy save" sorta ordeal.

Loving all the other changes though

  • @Mandy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3246169#Comment_3246169

It's not as easy as in "you can't miss" - it's definitely slightly more forgiving than before, which makes up for the inability to adjust your timing with the flashlight after the cooldown was added, but it's still missable (this should be a proper word!). If you go to early or too late, you're still not going to get the save.

I assume you're on about where players would click to adjust the timing? If so the player can just hold the beam down and quickly swipe out and back in to adjust it without the need to make them easier to blind.

Well hopefully it's not too easy, I'll definitely be giving it a big test when the patch is out!

(Btw can we change accuracy addons to change the flashlight colour? The accuracy is very outdated and I want a green flashlight beam please!)

Sabo is also incredibly rewarding vs. the extremely popular scourge hooks.

True, though Scourages arent all that strong imo and only good when its pain/deadmans but even that has the easy counter of letting go before the hook.

I just like the idea of doing something more rare and skillful as it's more rewarding than just being efficient on gens/chases

  • @Laluzi said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3246146#Comment_3246146

The thing is, if someone can blind you early, they could have blinded you later anyway.

It's easier to get a blind, but the counterplay is exactly the same - you play cautious when you think someone might blind you and you face a wall, fake the pickup, or flip directions in order to either safely pick up or lure the flashlight user out.

It's more the concern of it being easier so you cant really miss, I dont like the idea of as long as you're infront the blinds easy.

Getting a save and stopping a hook is HUGE, especially if people can loop which is why I liked the risk reward sorta thing.

As long as it's not really easy then that's fine, just dont wanna repeat of very old DBD lol

I'm sorry teammates lead killer to you often ! I'm guilty on that one to be honest, I generally don't know where anyone is and when chased I flail around more than anything. I do try to lead killer away or get downed on purpose if I noticed I led the killer to a teammate, so that they have time to get to safety. I still feel guilty afterwards haha.

Sounds like you are a great teammate ! And you're right, we don't see many flashlight saves these days... At least in low and middle mmr, which is where I yo-yo.

Anyway. I wish you great games on this double bp weekend :)

Dont worry about it, I'm happy to get the killers attention or take a hit for you all I ask is jump on my gen when I'm chased away lol, hate seeing my 95% gen regress all the way.

Though iv moved into sabo saves currently because the joy of seeing a killer drop the survivor and start to hint me down gives me the "oh s**t, they want me now" then I'll quote scary movie "ruuuunnn bi**h, ruuun"

But good luck to you too! I cant play though I'm busy all weekends but I dont need the BP but thanks!

  • @Peanits said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3246120#Comment_3246120

    You're a legend.

To expand on that: Not really. Higher skilled folks who already have the timing down won't notice much of a difference- they've already mastered the timing. The bigger challenge at that point is getting into position in time to get a save. If the killer knows how to play around flashlights, that becomes more difficult since they can face a wall or turn the other way.

If your get into position early, nothing changes. You could have waited the extra 0.25 seconds out and gotten the blind even without it.

If you get there late, you still do not get the blind.

More than anything, it makes them easier to learn and feel better to use. This more of less compensates for the inability to adjust your timing after the cooldown was added.

So the 0.25 is added to the beginning on when you normally would have to start the blind?

Wouldn't this cause some issues we have had so many years ago where you could get a blind before the killer could move and then the killer auto drops ?

I know it wont be as bad as it's only 0.25 and not like the old times where at any point in the animation you could be stunned and itd count but its definitely a worry

  • @HugTheHag said:

I honestly understand the reactions of your teammates to be honest. The few times I've had a flashlight and not been either tunneled for it or been at the other side of the map during a pickup, I couldn't get it quite right.

From what I understand, the timing is just a bit more lenient in terms of the right frame to start blinding, but not very a very noticeable change from the killer's perspective. Late blinds will still be late and therefore avoidable, and early blinds still won't free the survivors. It's just a couple more frames, so the timing still has to be a bit precise, just not frame perfect.

Well I often fall into the position of my teammate leading the killer to the gen I'm on so I dont need to go far lol, or I usually on transition between gens and see the down, definitely no point in following people to get one but it is nice to get saves on people as I never see others do it in my games tbh

I dunno that worries me, I never thought they was all that difficult unless it was a new killer with a weird new animation. I guess it makes bad servers easy to blind on now

You'd ban people who... aren't even breaking ToS and are using functioning game mechanics? So people are no longer allowed to try their luck at escaping hook, or heaven forbid they be bad at skill checks? I guess we could say goodbye to half of the casual noobs that play in your hypothetical world here.

Good thing you don't have any say over how punishment is doled out in this game lol.

You mean ban people that are entitled and are happy enough to ruin 4 other players games because it didnt go exactly how they wanted?

    Yes.

And damn right it's a good thing, I dont support players ruining other fun because they wanted to throw a children's tantrum because they got outplayed or even up versing a killer or map they dont like.... like ffs people quit verse legion, kinda stupid.

Lol so u get mas because they wasted ur time and in response u waste even more time? Letting them bleed out wastes ur time as much as theirs. U should just get ur kills and move on as quickly as possible if ur time and resources are as valuable as u make them appear to be

Not really, if I end the game fast I'm just sitting in a lobby yet again.

Leaving them slugged just wastes their time, I can still chill and play with the other 3.

If I could actually have my choice if just ban the entitled children so they cant play. It's kinda pathetic giving up in games because you got out played once. Only game I can play where I regularly see my team give up instantly because of their own mistakes

  • Does anyone think a system that would class doing 5 gens,20min chase and die on first hook as a terrible player and lower their mmr good?

Definitely plenty of changes they can make, they have spoke about changes they're "looking at" like mmr decay over time or some team based mmr but not actual update on those

  • @Sharpefern said:

People playing survivors, does anyone else rush for a save when they see a first hooked survivor doing a triple pull to try and die? Like if I can get to them before second stage, great, but I at least want to get to them before they die so they are forced to either play, wait, or dc.

Killers- if you see someone do this do you kill them or make them play/dc. I am now beginning to think the best thing I can do with these players if they refuse to play is slug them. It gives other survivors a chance to get altruism/benevolence points and forces a makeshift dc penalty. (this of course is if its an early give up. If there are two survivors left or something like that I mercy kill). The only think I cant stand tho is if they let themselves get to crow stage, the explosions are so annoying.

If I'm killer I'll slug them till they bleed out.

Dont waste my time ruining a game I had to wait for, used addons in and taking up my time. You wanna be petty I'll show you petty, either DC and get the ban or deal with having to wait.

I'm honestly so sick of my team giving up for no reason, like you went down fast because you was an idiot so you're gonna throw the game? Legit seen my first billy in months to have the game over in 2mins because people gave up straight away... LIKE WHY!

  • Thankyou, I have asked multiple times and never got that response lol.

Though this means alot of games are void even if survivors win, glad they arent actually included. Now if only we could not count games people give up and throw... thatd be interesting to see

  • You're telling me DBD isnt the most optimised game? Hmm...

This is why I love my next gen, dont get this rubbish at all. Admittedly I shouldn't need the next gen for it but it was a nice bonus as I was getting it anyway

  • Not that different tbh, alot of survivors just suicide on hook anyway which are counted...

And honestly I still havent heard the devs say the whole game is void after a DC, they just keep saying the DC is void so as far as we know the other 3 could be counted.

Needing maps or not that's a joke of a map, running windows with open handed and there was next to no pallets, just the odd LT or complete dead zone.... like what's the point, zero gameplay at all and god forbid you verse an instadown or mobility killer on it

I can do it with some, going to the narrow side of a wall. And mindgaming them, erratic changes of direction. But a really good nurse with years of experience is well above my current skill level. And on console i can only do so much on controller, it's very hard to 360 a killer on console. I won't learn anything by getting downed as quickly as every body else in the match was. Especially if i get limited to one chase by facecamping.

Well you arent expected to beat a killer way above your skill and if that nurse really was way higher in skill you wont lose much mmr so that game won't do much to you.

I play on console and honestly drop trying to 360, focus on loops, mindgames and misdirection. 360s will work on new killers or people who have a very low sensitivity, it's more of just a gimmick people throw in when they're versing far weaker killers than they should be not to mention you'll lose distance if it doesnt work and theres better things to focus on

If it were any other killer, i may agree that it could be my teammates fault, but the truth is i also cant loop nurse for more than 20sec. It is not a situation of me looping for a certain amount time and my team doing nothing.

The problem is, i play alone dbd, most my friends left with 6.1.0 so i cant form a coordinated swf to be prepared against a possible nurse match up so my games are usually a gamble. Should i get a killer i can loop and have a chance of winning, or i get nurse.

From what i heard about DCs, i think the whole match does not count in terms of stats, because if one DCs early in any games the other three are likely to die almost certainly.

You can do it I promise! Its definitely tricky to learn but possible, iv been a solo survivor for so many years now but you can run nurse for a decent amount of time when you learn.

Obviously you cant do it easily or every chase and if you could itd be to easy and shed be so very weak, shes just a killer that is most different to counter so it's much harder to adept.

And I'm not sure, I'll wait to hear from a dev before I believe that just because it's such a impactful thing

But I believe in you getting better and kicking nurse behind from one solo to another!

Tbh she was more annoyed at the nurse for playing so cheaply when they clearly were extremely good at blink hits. She encouraged me to leave her on hook while nurse was camping, which was the entire time she was on hook, to play stealthy and was pretty pleased that I escaped.

Lotta people here who'd apparently be happy to run at a killer and get killed if it was obvious the killer was out of their skill range. Rather than counter them with different tactics.

You didnt counter her though you didnt win and your whole team lost, you didnt even counter her power in chase etc.

I'm not saying you cant hide at certain points to avoid detection as it's quite strong against nurse but just hiding doesnt do anything at all.

Personally I'd rather just play, it's more fun and I get more points and I can only get better if I keep trying though theres not much more for me to learn after running nurses for so many years now but they're definitely beatable.

But you can counter camping through pushing gens and trading just before next stage and this will usually give a win to 1-3 survivors, even easier with certain perks.

My advice, just play and try to have fun and learn new stuff in the process. Everyone can seem good if you arent use to countering them so keep that in mind

i dont know, i truly hate getting matched against nurse, but i would still play the game normally unhooking and everything.

I still have hope that someone of my random teammates can actually loop her for more than 15-20 sec because i cant.

i dont know how nurse can possibly have that 52% kill rate, every single game i have played against nurse in the past 4-5 month have always ended with 4k (Mainly because i play SoloQ only and for some reason every single nurse player i get has like 3k-4k hours minimum and plays like they were in dbd World Cup).

The only explanation i can think of that low of kill rate if because people can get so frustrated playing against her that they DC and make that matches not count in the total stats.

Well the stats are awful anyway, no doubt if it was hooks shed be higher up in them even if you include all mmrs. But the fact is, and this goes for alot of killers especially in solo Q there are just teammates that hinder you.

As for the DCs I'm pretty sure a DC doesnt make the whole game void. As far as I know only the DC player is void, so they dont count while the other 3 will. Obviously cant be 100% but every time I ask a dev I dont get a reply and the only reply I do get is "DCs are void and dont count as a kill" which isnt really helpful understanding the other players

Sure, and let's make the killer have to drop chase and be out of chase for 5 seconds before they can see event auras

How about you run blastmine, headon or even that perk that blinds the killer?

Oh that's right no one is using perks to make the event harder, they're just using perks they want to.

  • Damn can you imagine being your friend...

I'd hate to choose to play with someone and they act so childish and entitled and when I'm actually playing the game you decide to not even try...

Like if I'm getting camped do gens...

It's funny though, so many people give up verse nurse and dont try yet she still has a low kill rate, imagine if we PLAYED THE GAME

  • Doesnt really matter, not like it's a common situation at all so it's just another silly defense to DC and probably one used to remove DC penalties all together.

  • Just stay on the gen and finish it and then you'll see a portal... you dont have to leave as soon as you hot 15.

And imagine being so entitled you are moaning and killers using perks calling them griefing.

They are allowed to use what perks they like and it's a good perk for so many reasons, people arent using it for that reason. It's like saying all blastmine, headon players are griefing as it takes points away from the killer... but thatd be entitled and just stupid...

I had a match yesterady where a Myers and Yui took my game hostage. I should not get some degrading label just because I didn't want to go AFK for 2 hours until the match auto-ended.

Ah yes let's use uncommon instances to hinder punishing players that do DC.

Seriously dont act like that's common at all nor that a system that tracks consistent DCs wouldn't see that as a rare situation...

So fast? I thought this took a week or so.

    That explains a LOT.

Well from my knowledge every passing day takes your ban timer down one mark.

So let's say the ban times are 5m, 10m, 15m etc. If you DC you get a 5min ban and if you DC again youd get a 10min ban but if theres 24hrs between the 2 DCs the player will be hit with two 5min bans and not a 5m then 10m.

This means its basically possible to DC each day and only get 5mins without it actually increasing. It's why ban timers are set on weeks usually to really punish those people who DC

  • Yeah I'm not scrolling through pages of bug reports...
