Looks like between our BP, our kill numbers and our pips, it's still our vanity that matters the most.
"Honey, do I look good in this mask?"Hahahah. It's truer than I'd like to believe.

And think about those simpletons (Xbox and PS users): I think they have like, what, one button for everything?Er... simpleton here.
PS4. Hahaha.Every time I do it, I think "How the hell am I supposed to scare survivors when they see me embarrassing myself like this!?". Usually, I pause for a second or two, consider my options (like running off so they think I'm slugging) but end up slowly climbing back through to pick up the survivor... who is no doubt a little brat, laughing their arse off at me.
-
Hmm... been playing her a lot, and I don't agree that she needs buffing exactly. But I think @Yeet makes the important point - survivors should have less knowledge of what she's up to. Hopefully, the proposed audio changes happen soon (so survivors can't hear your phasing within 24m instead of 8m). I think I'd like to wait for that change and then see how things are.
If she still needs work then I'd prefer they consider things like making her more difficult for survivors to see her aura etc. before they start turning her into a regular hack n' slash killer who just runs around the map cutting people.
-
Different buttons for climbing through windows and picking up bodies would also be nice. It's f*cking humiliating when you mess up.

-
There's something in that idea. Not sure he really fits the tone, but I like.
And there's definitely some mileage in the sound-copying idea.
-
Pretty convinced none of the people terrified of rancor have actually played a killer with it.
Already I see OoOs are learning not to piss around at the Gates. I mostly just catch the odd one on their run to the doors (although they've mostly been dead by the time the Gates open anyway).
Stop panicking people - play some games and you'll see it's no big deal.
-
I think the DLC may have brought a few people back into the game who aren't so great. I've haven't seen as many camping/ tunneling killers and clueless survivors since it first went free on PSN+.
Unless you're suggesting that it's the Spirits who are tunneling. In which case, give people a chance to learn her.

Either way, I'm sure it'll settle back to "normal" soon. Whether normal is a good thing or not is a whole other debate.
-
Can't believe they nerfed her. I mean... I love the gal, but she is pretty useless compared to most of the other killers. Couldn't honestly tell you why I spend so much time playing her when almost anyone else would be a better choice.
Playing Amanda and Rin, unperked, is more fun than playing Huntress on PS4.
Be nice to know if they actually have some kind of plan for her.

Had a game today, where I got downed on my last hook, Pig puts a RBT on me, and just stayed nearby waiting for me to get picked up.You can do some cruel things with that RBT when you're a frustrated killer and feel like being mean. I'm generally a nice killer though, so I save those torture tactics for special occassions...
Like you're Jake. Or you laughed at me. Or you didn't leave when you had the chance, you dumb Claudette... mwahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
Er...
-
Going to agree with the people saying it's really not that strong a perk. However, it is fun so I ran it in most of games as Rin last night.
Didn't get to mori as many OOSes as you might think. Got a couple though, and they were satisfying.

-
In what way?
I only ever play Doc for the shock therapy daily. But when I've come across good Doctor players, they've ripped me and my 3 randoms to bits. Inexperienced Doc players, not too much of a concern.

Because the little kiddies (playing a PEGI 18-rated game where the objective of one side is to gruesomely kill the other, and the objective of the other side is to harass, bully, and then send abusive messages to the other) might learn a word they shouldn't?

The shrine has been updated and in place of the old perks we now have two new survivor perks and two new killer perks to choose from.
Hopefully this didn't clear anything up for you and I can continue my day knowing I caused no good in this world.Hahahah. Well played - I'm lucky you weren't the only to respond. Somehow, like stepping on a hex trap and getting slapped to the ground, I feel like I got what I deserved.

@Delfador said:
Why do the same perks show up over and over and over again? My guess is they deliberately make some less common than others so that people still have to play a variety of killers and buy characters etc.
-
Thanks guys, much appreciated.
-
Hahaha. Nice. Great to see the responses here - makes me feel more normal.
-
Depends on what happens with the shrine this week. If there's something I need, I'll be building up a different killer. If not, I'll put them all in Spirit.

Weird, considering they're technically all the same, just look different. No science, or even deep thought, behind this... but I think certain types of people are sometimes attracted to certain survivors/killers. And, to an extent, your character choice sometimes teaches you to play differently than you thought you might. By the time you've perked up enough to eradicate the differences between survivors, I think the "damage" is often already done.
Why is there always a Dwight in a locker when I go to pick up extra hatchets?* Why do Hags never give hatches (I have a video of the one and only nice-guy Hag I've ever seen since playing DbD)? And (of course) why does Jake always f**k up the rescue? God damn moron Parks.
I'm meaner as Amanda than I am Huntress, for some reason.
Edit: * In fact, why is Dwight in a locker so common that it's become a thing???
Edit 2: On the opposite side of the coin, I often find myself letting Fengs go or treating them too nicely. There's something about her little face that prevents me from slapping them around too much.

Heh. Not developed any kind of feelings towards Ace yet.
Sorry Ace mains (if there are any), but you're just too forgettable.

He never does that for me
Just stands right in my face. -

I main killer as you know ps4 has terrible lag on survivors half the time but I only camp as huntress and never for long if people just swarm meh hook blatantly trying to lure I play along run back and face smack next guyHuntress is a tough gig, man. I know. And I don't think a little "patrolling" is the end of the world with her - she's slow enough etc. that survivors still rescue people with a bit of skill. But I find too many survivors think "Aha, a Huntress! She's easy, let's all descend upon the hook". Then followed by "Y U NO LEAVE HOOK!?!"
A camping Freddy on the other hand... time to reevaluate your character selection. Thankfully, they seem a little rarer.

But shout out to everyone on this topic that doesn’t camp/tunnel as Killer. We all LOVE a long fun game, despite if we live or die ❤️Well said.
Hopefully, you'll run into me one day with my Pig face on, and I can restore your faith in Piggies.

-
Hahahaha.

Meg. Started with her because she was quick, added urban evasion and she became super fun.
By the time I had other characters perked up to fit my playing style, I'd become too attached to Meg to choose anyone else over her.

(please not this can ONLY happen on PS4) Killers DC WAY more once they learn that closing app Warsaw’s the survivors progress from the last 20 minutes, deletes all offerings and items brought, causes de-pip; and the cherry on top of potential account file deletion. With how spiteful the PS4 killers are, it’s no wonder they indulge in such disgusting activity as jeopardizing hundreds of hours of progress of 4 strangers cuz they feel hurt.Note for PS4 survivors: try not to be a dick to your killer. If he doesn't burn you, he may be in a foul mood and do this to the next group who he suspects are starting to grief him.
Edit: And killers, stop being a dick to survivors. As a 50/50, I see the arseholes on both sides, all the damn time, and I'm really not surprised people carry bad feelings into their next games and misbehave.
-
Though, with my Meg cap on, a well-played Pig is a terrifying thing to go against. So some of you Piggies have definitely got your act together. Teach me.

@Michiko said:
Idk why, but Pigs on console tend to camp and tunnel more than any other Killer on console.. why? I'm curious. I feel like Pig is meant to make the game a little longer but I may be wrong.Try playing her without great perks from other killers.
She's more fun to play (IMO) than the other killers, but a mid-rank killer is not an easy life choice.I play Amanda fairly often. Got matched recently against some survivors who were way above my poor Pig's ability. Did an ok job, didn't camp, didn't tunnel, and really didn't mind losing. They beat me, fair and square. But what do I get at the end? 10 mins of survivors holding the game hostage. Have this happen often enough, and the temptation to start treating survivors like ######### becomes overwhelming.
Anyway, I'm mostly just posting to say that I'm surprised that you find Pigs camp more than others. I'm on PS4, and tend to find Myers and Huntress players to be pretty bad for camping. Though as a Huntress killer, I can totally understand why they end up resorting to it.
(Not a killer main btw. I'm 50/50)

I def agree that if the killer is still nearby the hooked person should get a new action if someone tried to unhook them, "kick in the face" and action that stuns the unhook farmer letting the killer nab them. So, I'm running Borrowed Time 3, Sprint Burst etc. and have the option of dashing in and rescuing you (giving you a chance of escape that you didn't previously have) but now I can't risk it because you might panic and kick me in the face? Then we're both dead.
I agree with the sentiment - it's annoying as hell when you're unhooked in front of the killer - but this just makes it harder to rescue you.
-
Amanda just wants to be loved. But sometimes she forgets this and you have to do something strange to get her attention and stop her from just slashing you.
Had a great match a few nights ago. Took some careful maneuvering to befriend a Pig, and then watched in horror as another survivor decided to taunt her. Thankfully, it all worked out in the end and everyone went home happy. Aside from the two "survivors" who had already died on the hook...

@Hellrossa said:
Why that? :ohnoes:Just that everyone seems to hate Megs, and survivors hate Pigs.
Don't worry about it.
It's cool.(Sorry for late reply).
-
Pretty sure the Entity is only capable of three words - "noooooo", "yyssss", and "mmmggghh" (or something).
Unless the next level of Huntress perk unlocks "Dwight is in the cupboard".

Meg and Piggy mostly.God, I bet you're popular!
Good on you though. -
Play both - pretty much a 50/50 split. I prefer survivor (simply because a lot of playing a killer seems to be running around doing nothing) but once it gets past 20:30, it becomes really difficult to find survivor games on PS4... so I switch.
I think both sides are relatively well-balanced against each other. Individual characters/perks may need tweaking but, overall, I''m ok with it. I've noticed that in the mid-ranks, before you're fully perked, you really are rewarded for so-called "toxic" behaviour like camping though. Mostly because survivors make it worthwhile when they swarm the hook, but also because running off to find someone else gets really boring.
FYI Stop unhooking people directly in front of the killer (camping or not). Unless you run borrowed time. It's a gift when you do it and I'm playing killer, but annoying AF when I'm the poor sap on the hook that you decide to farm for rescue BP only to leave me to a certain death.
-
Seems to be a tricky one to balance - against lower-skilled, non-SWF players, Freddy just cleans house and is horrific to fight. Against higher-level players, he seems to struggle.
-
Up until recently, this was my favourite part about playing a killer. When I get to do something fun, like dropping someone at the exit gates or hatch, it makes my day. Especially if I feel a survivor was unjustly hindered by a teammate or was really, really unlucky.
I didn't even mind a little fun and games at the gates - if you're crouching and taunting me from the gates then I just consider it a loss. You already beat me, so I'd play a bit and get the odd strike in, but never kill.
However, most of that joy and sense of fair play has been driven out of me now.
