Judith's deserves a change just as much as tombstone piece, because any addon where the killer can just remove you from the game without ever having to interact with you is bad design.

I disagree. He has to stalk 200% more and he loses speed when in tier 3. There are plenty of pallets to make it a nightmare for him, if survivors play properly he'll only get 1 kill.

  • @Icaurs said:

Why, what specific advantages do swf have?

Lmao are you kidding me? Comms, sabo, spreading out on gens because of comms, body blocking, synergizing perks with the whole team.

  • To anyone saying Judith's Tombstone needs a nerf, no it doesn't. Tombstone Piece does. Judith's Tombstone you have to use PWYF or your not killing anyone who knows how to play survivor.

Since we are getting legion and ghostface changes in this wednesday, and the twins is already confirmed to get some changes in the future, imo, myers had the most outdated mechanic in the game, he propably is the next target from BHVR to rework or buff, BHVR could do a addon pass like they did with legion and ghostface, and even buff his basekit

100% Myers should be the next killer to get reworked or buffed.

  • My last 2 nurse games as survivor.

    1. Did not miss a single blink. Evwry single blink was a hit. It was literally insane I think everyone died with one measly gen done. She didn't slug either.

    2. She was mediocre/bad and disconnected after 4 gens were completed. I believe she had 2 or 3 hooks.

  • The problem is so many the killers have nothing to deal with the pure BS that is the maps in this game. The maps are so unfair to most of the killer roster. I don't know why God pallets are a thing in this game or loops with no mindgame that the killer HAS TO break the pallet. Its stupid and negates the ability of the killer player to play the game. Feels so babyish towards survivor players.

  • @EntitySpawn said:

There is nothing wrong with noed.

The only thing that is bad about noed is it's way it boosts kill rates, same as rancor can.

I do feel alot of the hate towards NOED is the entitlement of Escaping, I'd be okay with a change as it wouldn't impact me.

If it stays how it is that's perfectly okay but I will say if you are a noed user YOU ARE HOLDING BACK KILLER BUFFS BY BOOSTING KILL RATES. But that the killer side of me talking and I avoid playing killer now

Tru3ta1ent calls Noed the "data killer." It makes matches look even when they were not. Killer got stomped all game then gets 1 or 2 kills because of noed at the end. Horrible for balancing.

  • Look at that map and then remember there's SBMM in this game. Now thats a complete joke lmao. The killer has no input in any of these loops but let's have SBMM.

  • @nostrada96ass said:

    as i know he 107% at tier1

    No he's 105%

  • @Piruluk said:

That would make any stealth killer overpowered.

And Spine Chill would be useless

No it would make it so survivors actually have to stay more vigilant and not have a perk tell them the killers coming. The stealth killers are m1 killers, you can't make them OP with anything.

  • @thrawn3054 said:

I've said before he should be 110% in tier 1. That and remove the tier 1 T-Rex arms.

The baby lunge is the absolute stupidest thing in the game. It's so dumb that you literally have to be grinding on the survivor to get a hit in tier 1. Horrible design.

  • It's awful right now. I'd say 1 or 2 in every 5 killer games I play is fun. The other 3 being against teams that own my life full of meta perks and tournament looping.

Play solo survivor and I escape maybe once in 10 games due to team mate incompetence or just overall failure to do gens as a team. The matchmaking is absoltley horrid.

  • Myers power needs updating WAY BEFORE Freddys.

  • @VegasRalphie said:

So, as a mid-tier player, I guess all my killer games will now be spent with me being sacrificed to high-end players so they can enjoy the game more? Killer is now unplayable for me. Part of it is SWF, yes. But the other part is that I am clearly getting matched up every game against survivor teams who know the maps better than I do and can exploit animations/other mechanics to completely dominate the game. In most matches, I am now lucky to get two kills, and I have to work my butt of to get that. I take this MMR rework was not for folks like me.

It's sweatier for me to. I hate this mmr crap they added to the game. It's trash.

  • Survivor teams like this ruin the game.

  • He has a decent kill rate, so he's ok. What a joke. Half the kills are probably instakills with tombstone piece which is completely busted when paired with his memorial stalk add on.

  • @Sluzzy said:

He is strong enough. His killrates are some of the highest. Any buffs to him would make him actually busted.

A 1-shot killer that practically jumps through windows doesn't need any buffs. A killer with that kind of power needs a very slow buildup.

A killer that can't counter pallets needs to have a very slow start. Yeah ok lmao.

This. Tier 1 is irrelevant. You never stay in that state for more 50 seconds unless you have no idea what you're doing.

While this is true 1 to 1 1/2 gens will be done in that 50 seconds that you waste stalking to get out of tier 1. This is the problem and why the mechanic is out dated.

Usually your first tier 3 proc is 1 insta down, 2 if you are lucky. There are to many pallets around and loops. Even with infectious fright its hard to get more then 1 insta down sometimes. I'm talking base myers no addons.

Nah. Bloodlust is there as well as Play With Your Food. You really don't need 8 but if you are a good chaser you can do it. The thing is once you have those 8 no one is getting away from you. Just ignore your obsession and keep on pressuring. Don't pursue a survivor for a minute. At least not early in the game. Concentrate on pressuring the gens and getting the stacks. You don't have to secure the downs while farming the stacks. Get a hit and move to the next gen unless securing the down is easy.

I don't think you get bloodlust in tier 1.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/320088/devs-why-does-myers-start-at-105-speed-with-no-lunge

He starts in Tier 1 slow speed with no lunge because he has no terror radius. In this part of the game you should be racking up Save The Best For Last stacks. Once you hit 8 you move to tier 2 where you gain the speed and increased lunge. Once you have people on death hooks you move to tier 3 for the coup de grace.

The game will be over if you stay in tier 1 trying to get 8 stacks of STBFL. All 5 gens will be done. 1 good survivor can loop a tier 1 Myers around a rock for a minute.

  • @Marc_123 said:

I always thought it is because you have no terror radius in tier 1. Also he has his perks.

You can play some funny games staying only in tier 1. But doesn´t work with decent survs.

If you stay in tier 1 on any map that's not indoors, have fun lmao

  • Everyone seems to agree this killers power is outdated and buffs/changes are needed.

  • All these suggestions are awesome. Bhvr you in here???

  • Both Red Forest maps, The Game, Badham all versions, RPD, The 4 football field length Eryie of Crows.

  • He should immediately tier up from tier 1 to tier 2 if he lands a hit on a survivor while in tier 1.

I'd make him 110% movement speed with a regular lunge in tier 1.

    Tier 2 stays as is.

Tier 3 needs some sort of movement speed buff or make it so he can deal with pallets and breakable walls quicker. I always thought it would be cool if he could walk through breakable walls while in tier 3. It would be lore accurate as well as he's walked through doors in the movies.

  • @Midori_21 said:

I'm confused as to why Myers doesn't move any faster in tier 3.

Yeah yet another thing. Should be 117-120% movement speed when in tier 3.

It's been said basically forever that in some phrasing or another, "totem spawns are being worked on and improved".

However it's hard to have faith when we are just getting a map rework released and there's literally a totem spawn sitting in the middle of the street...

This has basically repeated for all the other map reworks as well, generally speaking.

It's a losing battle. I don't understand what the issue is.

There are so many good spots that hexes can be hidden yet like you said they put them right in the middle of the street. It's like they purposely want it to be EZ mode for survivors, it's a joke.

Looks like she does slow down (slower than Demo charging a shred). I have the harder time getting a sneaky first hit as her than other stealth Killers thanks to that awesome lullaby of hers (stealth killer btw).

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/T761O9BZRYDF/image.png

She feels powerless the entire game is my main problem with her. I never felt like her power mattered at all in any of my games as her besides them not being able to body block a tunnel.

Survivors have better chase tools than most stealth killers by just having E. I put her as the 3rd best stealth killer not because she is good, but because GF and Myers are so exceptionally bad.

The fact that she has a lullaby is a joke. Let's give the survivors time to run to there safe loops.

  • @Tsulan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2907302#Comment_2907302

So how long do your chases last then? 20 seconds? Because with 2 gens left. Everything that takes even slightly longer, could mean a completed gen.

I´m really curious, since the people that argue, that killers should forget about the first 3 gens, because the "real game" starts at 1-2 gens left. Usually forget to mention, that with 1-2 gen left, the chances are higher that multiple survivors hug the same gen. Which heavily reduces the time to repair the gen and also reduces drastically the amount of time the killer has for a chase.

3 genning can help, but going against decent survivors, a gen 3 won´t happen most likely and even if it happend. With 4 survivors alive, a 3 gen won´t save the killer.

Corrupt isn´t at good as most people claim. It just changes which gens get done first. More often than not, i´ve seen 1-2 hooks before the timer went out, but also 2 gens done (same match). So it barely increases the time before the first gen pops.

Just as an example on regard of the gen slowdown perks. The streamer i watched last night, was exceptionally good with Huntress. He could do impressive skill shots and was able to down survivors really quickly (depending on which tile he caught them). Yet he played without gen slowdown and got barely 3 or 4 hooks before the gates were powered. He played with endgame build and managed to get his kills basically because the survivors he played against, wouldn´t cut their loses and intended to get everyone out.

In other words, gens went by to fast and his matches could have ended in a 1k if the survivors just wanted to escape.

I stopped focusing on how many kills a killer gets, but instead i care more about actual hooks and when they happen. When most hooks happen after the gates are powered, then something is far off. Don´t you think?

I once posted killer mmrs should be based on amount of hooks they get before all 5 gens are completed. At endgame its basically garbage time where the survivors usually feed the killer hooks via trades and stuff.

  • This is why I run Corrupt 9 out of 10 killer games. When I don't run it I except 2-3 gens will possibly pop before my first hook. Its dumb but its the sad reality of this game playing killer.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2903710#Comment_2903710

Myers T3 is good, but he's not hard to loop. Many maps still have pretty safe tiles where faster vaulting and longer lunge won't help you avoid eating pallets.

You also can't forget Myers has one of the worst starts in the entire game and it takes time for him to get to T3 and good survivors will make you work for that T3.

His start is bad but people exaggerate how bad it is. I often catch survivors off guard and out of position at the beginning because of undetectable and bam tier 2.

I can name at least 5 killers worse then Myers. By the way Myers needs a buff, not saying he's strong but 95% of the killer roster needs a buff lol

  • @Thusly_Boned said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2903710#Comment_2903710

Let me first say I love Myers. Some of my most satisfying experiences as killer have been with Myers.

But Myers can absolutely be easily bullied, I've seen it numerous times. His power is lethal in bursts, but very situational, and good surv teams can make him deplete all his stalking without going down much, at which point he's pretty useless. One hit down is powerful, provided you can actually hit with it. He's has extremely poor map pressure ability, and can only gain mobility by trading his stealth. He's situationally powerful, but generally weak.

I think Myers is in need of an overhaul, and really want to see him buffed.

I get kills much more consistently with Sadako than I ever have with Myers. Not many of the fun snowball 4Ks that I sometimes get with Michael, but on average, more kills.

By no means am I saying Myers is strong, he does need a buff and change to how he works but so many people say he's ######### and they don't play him right. I see streamers pop tier 3 when they are still 10-12 meters behind a survivor and waste there entire tier 3 without getting a down because the survivor reached some safe loops.

Maybe I just suck with Sadako but I whiff with her more then any other killer perhaps because of how short she is and the demanifesting doesn't seem to fool any survivors I play against they always know where I am.

  • @darkcloudlink said:

I just introduced the game to a friend the other day, and we’ve played about 10 matches, all of which my friend was tunneled out of the game every single time. And I don’t mean the kind of strategic tunneling. I mean the kind of tunneling where we have 5 gens left, the killer face camps the hook and completely ignores everyone else. I brought Borrowed Time, I tried body blocking, and by the 9th match, I even tried the annoying “clickly clicky look at me” flashlight strat, and nothing worked. (Mind you, we went against 2 Leatherfaces, a Hillbilly, 3 Sadakos, a Myers, 2 Wraiths and an Artist, all of which are a bit difficult to effectively body block with 1 teammate)

After the 4th match, I got him Laurie for DS, but he can’t hit the skill check to save his life. Hell, I have 2,000 hours in the game and I still miss the skill check a decent amount. Why do we have such a small skill check when DS is literally the only (self) anti tunnel perk? Shouldn’t it be a little easier to pull off, especially for newer players getting tunneled? Why not make the skill check success zone bigger like with madness skill checks or struggle skill checks? And the condition of deactivating if you miss it? That seems a bit unnecessary. The perk just feels purposefully designed to negatively affect newer players who get tunneled a lot. They find the one perk to help, only to have it waste a perk slot because they can’t pull it off.

Anyways, what’s all of your opinions on the DS skill check? And again, my suggestion is NOT to remove the skill check, just make it bigger to accommodate newer players / people who struggle hitting skill checks, and also to remove the condition that the perk deactivates if you miss it.

The skill check is not hard at all for me at least.

  • @Crowman said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2903634#Comment_2903634

And Sadako isn't just better than Trapper.

Myers and Pig are both worse than Sadako. As long as we're comparing base kit since Myers does have some pretty nutty addons that I expect to get changed in the future whenever the devs address Myers.

Another person underrating Myers one shot ability. Sadako has nothing that's as threatening as Myers tier 3. You can turn her tvs off, she has no anti loop which BTW Myers has an extended lunge in tier 3 which sometimes gets you a down that wouldn't have been. The condemned mechanic is a total joke, I've killed one survivor with condemned in the time since she's been released. I feel much more powerful when using Myers then I do Sadako, Sadako can be bullied easily while Myers cannot. You can also camp people to death at endgame with tier 3 99d.

  • Myers, make his stalk quicker when stalking from further away and make him be able to walk through breakable walls while in tier 3 or some type of brute force thing for tier 3.

  • This map actually needs a nerf where 10-12 pallets are removed so regular killers can compete. How the devs don't see this beyond me. Anti loop killers don't care about the pallets. Survivors are invinsible against m1 killers.

  • 7 second stun, 2 gens proceed to pop during the stun and you get blinded during the stun twice. Sounds fun lmao

  • @graveyard_7777 said:

Think about it...no camping the hook, no tunneling and no sweat 4k. What do you guys think?

Please stop saying they DH to god pallets every time. If killers know then just bait it out.

You're taking one match where DH outplayed you and you act like it's every match. Over exaggerating like always

It happens every single day I play this game at least once. I will chase an injured survivor they will dead hard to the other side of a God pallet. If they did not have dead hard they would not have reached that pallet and went down. What's the counterplay to this??? There is none, you have to break the pallet and watch them shift W to the next loop which destroys your pressure. There is no baiting this out, it's an insanely strong play that killers cannot do anything about, except NURSE.

  • @I_am_Negan said:

    Just bait it out

Half the time their so focused on when you're going to swing their not paying attention to what's in front of them they run in to walls, trees and things. Don't swing like a crazy person and you'll be all right.

Please stop saying bait it out. Killers know to bait it out, the problem is the distance it provides to God pallets.

  • @Thusly_Boned said:

Not even a tutorial necessarily (though that would be nice), just a sandbox mode where you can just get a feel for their power and develop a little muscle memory before going against live teams.

Even at 2K hours, there are still a few killers I have barely touched because I don't want to deal with getting a feel for them in live matches. And it's gonna be hard to learn much when you're getting rinsed in like 5 minutes.

As a survivor, it's always obvious when you are going against someone new to that killer, and I feel bad for them, especially if they are getting BM'ed/bullied by teammates.

I remember the first times I played Nurse and Blight (on console) against live teams.

Man it was pathetic. I just kept thinking about the survivors on there mics making fun of me lmao

  • @GannTM said:

Sadako is not the weakest killer at all. She gets slept on a lot.

I think she's @ss. M1 killer with a pointless condemned Mechanic. Her stealth isn't stealthy really at all. Survivors can see her coming for the most part.

I feel much more confident playing Myers then I do her, at least I have my insta downs when I need them.

  • I get the anxiety feeling as well. Sometimes I click "play as killer" and just leave the screen for 5-10 minutes just staring at it not knowing if I'm ready to deal with the BS.

Killer FOV is utter trash allowing all sorts of ridiculous survivor jukes. So I'm in agreement there.

  • The fact that even someone at bhvr is calling it the house of pain speaks volumes to how busted that building was.

1 … 7 8 9 10 11 … 13
