I dunno, it sounds like the haunted cheers of dead fans with a synth drop that's often constant. Pop music wouldn't fit since, well, it's not scary.
neither is trickster, thats kinda the point
take something not scary and make it scary

Jack Baker w voicelines got me prayin

Dwight went from the town's punching bag to a metaphysical eldritch world through unknown means overseen by a higher deity hellbent on his complete and utter destruction while simultaneously feeding on his fears, anxieties, and inhibitions as he makes desperate struggles to survive the unsurvivable.
Dwight also isn't very good at sports and can't handle alcohol

"The animations are realistic (No 360s or moonwalking)"
Moonwalking is realistic though.
i can't moonwalk and if i can't do it it's not realistic
-
Jason Voorhees is my favorite slasher icon due to us sharing a birthday
However if they were to add him, I'd be very worried, due to the very high chance they could add him, a survivor everyone wants and a map everyone wants, and they could all be unbalanced, awful, not viable, etc.
I hope if they do acquire his license he's at least good.
-
i'm just tryna do my objective what ya'll want
-
We can keep going
Hide or Die - 200 bps for entering a locker (activates 5 time per match)
Surprise! - 2000 bp for catching a survivor in a locker
:0

eat people my dude

Suit cosmetic for Dwight
Shirtless cosmetic for Dwight
-
give him better chase music that's more reminiscent of pop music and less reminiscent of scripted chase scene in RE 6

doubt they would use DBD for Ethan's face reveal.

Problem is it cannot be Ethan because his face has not been shown. Capcom is doing that for a reason so it won't be Ethan Winters.
they already revealed his face though, we know what he looks like
-
People are rude to each other both in game and outside of it.
Then they stop playing the game because they don't want play bully victim simulator or genjockey simulator for another round.
-
SWF to Nurse or Spirit: play someone else trash loser
SWF to every other killer in the game: zzz git gud loser play someone better
-
I honestly think it'll be Ethan and Jack Baker. Mostly due to their stories being told, Capcom is more likely to license them instead of one of their flagship characters or villains
-
I honestly hope they get some form of overhaul, like the survivors are visibly damaged and torn up and the killers have bits and giblets hanging off of their bodies and weapons.
the word "Prestige" implies that it shows progress through hardship, yet they just kind of look like they slipped in a puddle of blood and couldn't get up without falling over again
-
Lightweight - no one expects it and most killers don't realize you're running it.
Quick and Quiet - on its own it can absolutely screw over a killer's tracking
Alert - imo a better tracking perk than OoO
Balanced Landing - since the nerf not used as much but certainly still good
-
He's not, really.
Trickster is the weakest killer in the game and he has 60 throwable knives basekit. So killers with more of one thing aren't really OP, just skilled or lucky
-
Just don't get sent to a map with bad totem spawns 4head go to The Game... wait, no that maps bad too.
All the maps with good totem spawns have god awful pallet spawns.
Its a lose lose
-
If they bought cosmetics for a specific killer it means they're at least somewhat dedicated to that killer.
I can't speak for the rest of the killer roster but I assume they're at least competent with the killer they love enough to spend money on
-
Dwight, Dwight and Dwight
but no Dweards, Dweards are not Dwights they are Dweardos
-
I didn't notice and have no opinion, I was too busy being chased by Pyramid Head and having a nerdgasm to notice
-
Broken keys op
-
I think he should get neither and they should bring back old Freddy at 125% movement speed with a heavily lowered teleport cooldown.
It sounds bad and it probably is but come on does that not sound terrifying to you
-
Depends on how its used and against who, when used to gain distance it can be considered op.
Unless you're at a short loop with a ranged killer.
If you use it to dodge a hit, then thats the intended purpose.
Unless the killer waits it out.
It has its moments but I wouldn't really consider it "OP" more of just "Meta"

Imagine the cosmetic potential:
- white dress shirt
- beige coat
- (limbs optional)
Endless possibilities.
how can he repair gens with no hands
-
It's not hitboxes you're complaining about, it's the servers
DBD has dedicated servers, however often times when you get hit through something its because the killer's game shows you being closer than you actually are. I think its designed to favor killers due to them originally starting lobbies when it was P2P.
-
Nurse requires hours, days, weeks, months of perfecting your skill and figuring out tactical finesse while also understanding survivors on a gameplay level to make any sort of mindgame work. Nurse mains also have to deal with the slew of bugs she still has and can often lose entire matches because of an unfortunate bug.
Spirits, however, just need a single perk to become SS tier and can 4k without much effort. Can you hear well? You can 4k as Spirit.
They're both unbalanced due to their gameplay being direct counters to everything a Survivor can do to beat them, however Nurse requires some form of effort and a considerable amount of luck. While Spirit is obnoxiously easy to 4k with.
-
I do, still not good at the game though
-
hehe bonk
-
realism
Bill gets lung cancer from his chainsmoking and gets winded after 5 seconds
-
Clustered hook spawns were a bandaid fix for 99 sabo teams.
Now that sabo has been reworked the spawns have no purpose other than to be infuriating
-
Add all killers and survivors unlocked too, if someone wants to buy someone they should at least know what they're getting into
-
whack stick lmao i'm gonna start calling it that
-
I'd listen, lockers have good echo
-
They exist as concepts and as "effective strategies", doesn't mean we can't complain about them.
Old DS was changed despite being a part of the game, and new DS was nerfed despite being a part of the game.
Most Infinite Loops were changed (Backtracking because of breakable walls)
Old Ruin was changed.
These were all parts of the game that were changed because people complained about them, doesn't matter how effective they are. If there's an issue it has to be changed or at least addressed.
-
They have this rule against putting anything that isn't at least humanoid in the game, because of how the game is set up with windows and loops and such.
I think that rule is BS and they should add whatever lumpy eyeball teeth monsters they want into the game
-
with survivor Leon Redfield and map Spencer's Police Station's Underground Umbrella Lab
-
completely ignoring dwight smh
-
why would the devs add an FOV slider when you can just grind for shadowborn it's like the same thing except soooo much better and more convenient
-
Dwight's manager vest also has a similar graphical issue, but its more of the model's polygons being stretched rather than anything.
I don't understand how these stay for so long, you'd think they'd want to sell some of these
-
I like the idea of a killer whose power is directly related to survivor injury, even though Oni already does something similar.
My only real complaint is every perk except "be my vessel" they're all rather subpar and while I can see their uses they wouldn't really be used.
Otherwise, good job, lad
-
Despite the lawsuits, I think if they got the holy trinity of slasher icons in their game then there'd be no stopping them.
-
spirit mains be like:
"oops sowwy you shwouldn't have made so mwuch gwunting when u injuwed."
"jwust make nu noises and I can't fwind u"
this isn't a joke, this is stuff i've actually heard from a spirit main. without the owo language obviously.
she's not fun
-
Despise it as a survivor, it feels like the asylum has too many pallets and everything with a mile of it is a deadzone.
Then you get to the corners where t-walls, L-walls, and the shack are just sitting there.
It's also too big, Red forest sized, almost.
It just too big and too empty to be anywhere close to enjoyable.
And don't get me started on the totem spawns, they're out in the damn open.

While I agree that the bad manners are inexcusable from both sides I do want to say that it is an unfortunate part of any online competitive gaming. DbD also has a reputation for a lot of hostility.
It is really frustrating and it's hard to not feel wounded by people being nasty. I'm a Survivor main who has never tea bagged even once. Never. I refuse to bring keys (I think it is the equivalent of a Mori and is bad sportsmanship). I only bring flashlights for Rift challenges and even then if it says to blind a Killer 5 times I'll try to do that over 5 separate rounds so that I'm not just spamming one poor Killer. When the gate is open and I'm sure everyone is safe I leave, when I find the hatch I jump instantly, I never wait to make sure a Killer sees me. If the other 3 Survivors DC I will try to lead Killer to basement and I volunteer a hook so they get one full kill.
I like to think I'm a good sport and a fun Survivor to play against. And yet more often than not when I get a message it's calling me a b*tch, a c*nt, etc. And so I get that it really hurts!
But if you let it get to you too badly it will poison you from the game which is a shame since this is a fun game with some really wonderful community members. Hang in there, try to let the salt roll off of your, and remember that their emotional immaturity or their malice is not your problem.
Take care and happy gaming. <3
stop being wholesome of the forums how am i supposed to be angry if you say nice things
-
I can understand DCing in certain circumstances, like if the game you've been playing is awful and you're on the verge of punching either the screen or yourself.
I don't understand why it just... happens?
Like you'll be starting the game normally and then poof! the killer DCs and the 20 minutes you spent in matchmaking and loading in was for nothing.
-
@EvilJoshy said:
SWF has no right to complain about anything in this game. They were just salty they lost. Keep playing Oni.
"Show no mercy. For you shall receive none"
I didn't win, that's the issue.
I didn't kill any of them and they still complained about the game

You know that there's a button called "LEAVE" and you can press it so survivors won't trashtalk you
so I should DC anytime the game isn't in my favor
-
Or we could just bring both of the brothers.
