send yourself to a indoor map and run the addon that gives you aura reading when you're invigorated, it's super easy to do that way
-
there's a nice Jake shirt on the free track, which is good enough for me

Same as the survivors breathing room funny enough
Gee almost as if the Trickster changes did nothing but make him even more annoying to face and infinitely worse to play or something

Eh it's not that big of a deal tbh.
If you hit 30 of those 44 knives you have 5 healthstates on top of now much better main event which at the very least is another healthstate.
You need to be more accurate yes but that isn't a bad thing
Doesn’t change that over 25% of the amount of breathing room you had went out the ######### window

4 is concidert a unlucky number in korea. Kinda like western countries concider 13 to be unlucky
The Chinese character for the word “death” is pronounced “sah”. This is the same sound as the Korean “four.”
So it's seen as a death number.
So specifically 44 knives is actually pretty dope flavour wise
Flavour wise it's cool
Gameplay wise it's dumb and only serves to make Trickster less lethal

No.
He's not overpowered.
But he is extremely unhealthy in the EXACT same way that Old Legion was.
he is also not even remotely fun to play anymore due to having almost no breathing room for knives and the laceration being gone almost instantly

- They wanted to make Trickster less spamable. 60 knives is just unnecessary if you're using your knives economically, especially with the lower knife requirement to injure survivors.
- Laceration lasting for so long was unnecessary in the first place. If you're chasing for so long that the laceration meter begins to activate, you're doing something wrong and probably already lost the game.
- Main Event having a longer activation window is still an improvement over what it used to be. We take what we can get when it comes to BHVR (They were probably worried about it being possibly unfair if you could just hang onto it indefinitely until you found them in an area with no natural cover to be honest).
1.Trickster being spammable was what made him fun for me, plus, no one in their right mind uses the knives economically, because that took forever and was super boring
2.Laceration going away almost instantly is not a ######### improvement over it taking a while, all it does is make a already weak killer even weaker
EDIT: just realised this, the changes didn't even fix the issue of him being unfun to face, if anything they made him even less fun to face because if you're in a tight corridor or in the open you are dead even faster then before, all they did was make him less fun to face and outright miserable to play
-
you aren't the only one, i haven't been the angry at DBD in forever, they not only didn't fix the issues survivors had with them, they just made him absolutely miserable to play
-
@GeneralV said:
What happened was that they turned an annoying killer into an even more annoying killer.
And one that isn't even fun to play anymore, i was genuinely sad and angry the first and only game i played
-
Spirit got nerfed by a bug
https://youtu.be/LDU_Txk06tMMost boring and unfun killer to face in the entire game is going to be played less

"Reduced Nemesis zombie network usage", what does that actually mean?
from what i can gather it just means that the zombies take up less network space, i.e, causes less strain on the server which leads to a smoother experience
-
jokes on you, i have a "buff Trickster" post ready to go the very second the update happens
-
i have been waiting for my survivor main to get lore for forever, so yeah i'm pretty excited
-
- Identify a set of gens at the start of the match and place down portals next to them, this way you will be able to protect a 3 gen for a good chunk of the match
- Shred lets you break pallets faster then normal, so it's always worth charging it rather then pressing space bar
- Faking shred doesn't effect you if you only press the button rather then holding it, use this to make survivors think you'll shred and run away from windows
- Shred can launch you insanely far if used from a elevated surface, use this to close the distance on survivors
- Don't go for a shred if you're out in the open, going for the m1 is a lot safer
- identify when a survivor locks on to the vaulting animation, then charge shred and knock em down
-
i prefer chasing and tracking
to quote every single Octane player i have ever met, "Can't stop Won't stop!"
-
i think so, if the game is running at 10 FPS while your console/computer's fan sounds like a jet turbine then i think DCing for the sake of your system's health is perfectly justified
that being said, there are also a lot of people who DC just because "i don't feel like playing on this map" or "i don't feel like facing this killer" or "i got hit through a pallet that was already down" etc, etc, etc
-
i saw the name Cynthia and immediately got gen 5 war flashbacks
-
if they have something i care about then sure, otherwise, i don't really care that much
-
believe it or not, i don't trust yellow gens, whenever i see one i expect Trail of Torment until i see otherwise
-
Stone Ocean is getting animated soon so i would love to see Father Pucci get in
this would be hype as hell
-
it's a buff IF that PTB key change comes to live servers
otherwise, i prefer deleting items over making everything but keys useless
-
probably yes, the only maps that need reworks are Haddonfield, Red Forest and the Swamp, so it's likely we'll get a new map this year
-
having to sit through a 15 minute match, which consisted of the first 3 gens getting done within the first 3, then the last 2 hiding for the next 12, the last one escaping with a key
it was really frigging tedious to sit through

Way too many killers play like they’re in a competitive tournament.
way too many people in general, not just killers

i was playing deathslinger on RCPD once, and one cheeky Leon was on the balconies in the main room and thought he was safe
he didn't know he could be shot through the gaps in the railings
-
how is it a problem when exactly zero people use it on a routine basis? it's useful and very good but i see no one use it for some frigging reason
-
Micheal and Ghostface still spook me on occasion
usually my response to seeing them is "oh it's Michael/Ghostface"
however if i get grabbed i go "OH ######### IT'S MICHAEL/GHOSTFACE GOD DAMN IT"
-
give her power a tell and indication when she's phasing, easy as that

Lerys and RCPD for Demo are really fun

Gen rushing depends on a lot more factors though, usually perks youre running, survivor spawns, their coordination, your strategy, etc.
Also tbagging or clicking dont do anything in reality, just annoyance, unlike tunneling or camping.
actually clicking and teabagging do do something
they help the killer, because the survivor is trying to be a annoyance instead of running away

(real talk I'd check out Look-See on their YouTube channel. They have a playlist with a bunch of their monster shorts but iirc the Birch is streamed exclusively on Facebook)
the fact that your twitter name is "Moo Moo King" simultaneously doesn't surprise me and fills me with extreme amounts of joy
-
The Scrin aren't horror movie monsters but you'd have a great deal of difficulty convincing me this...
Wouldn't fit in DBD
-
Gutting Nurse is not the same as making Nurse balanced
-
The only things that would come of this is the Trapper finishing setting up all his traps faster and both him and the survivors get to play the video game sooner, so all I see are net positives
-
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 10000 times
SWF is not the problem, 3rd party communication software is the problem, the game was made with the intention that the survivors would not know everything that is going on at all times, it was never the intention that you wouldn’t be able to play with your friends, it was however intended that you wouldn’t be able to communicate
you want a scapegoat? Blame Discord, not the SWF system
-
Mad Grit works with Starstruck, so if you fancy roleplaying as a lawnmower you can do that

I feel as though the Stridor change could very well be a placeholder effect, just to combat the sheer number of Spirits that run it.
This, the devs probably have a few changes in mind but while they’re still brainstorming on how not to make Spirit a Hillbilly 2.0 they have this to stop people’s biggest complaint with Spirit

Still the best one I’ve ever seen
I would ask for context, but it’s funnier without context
-
just run at them, by the time the speed is over you're still running faster then they are, so when it ends you can just stab them
-
i'd do what you suggested, cooldowns, one you leave the cloak you cannot use it again for a few seconds, 30 seems like a bit too much though so i'd just do 20 or 25

Deathslinger has a terror radius?
16 metres with M&A
doesn't mean much since if you can hear it he can shoot you, but it is there

So Deathslinger but actually without a terror radius
sounds very fun

There is already a penalty for DDosing
it's called 10 years in prison and a fine of 500,000 US Dollars
