Unless you are holding down m1 when you’re rescuing then you should be able to just run away
also, if the killer is facecamping, for the love of god just get BT or do gens, it is never worth saving when the killer is 3 feet away from you

where did you pull 36 from
…ok mightybear7, you win this round

Regardless of side i think one of these 4 things
"Is this person new to the game and just didn't read the perk description?"
"Is he going for Adept David?"
"Is he a absolute gigachad?"
"Is he a cheater?"
it's always one of these 4 things without fail

i have a feeling it might be down the the current climate, if you're living in the West it's Summer right now

You just answered your own question. 16 + 4
16 + 4 = 20, where the hell did you pull 36 from?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Survivors would be way more powerful, too much more powerful. Right now as a killer you have to prepare for and account for 16 perks and if they added a 5th one that would be 36 perks. ehhh NO.
what mathematical equation could you have possibly done where 16 + 4 = 36?
-
i get your frustrations but realistically speaking none of the multi-trial challenges are that hard, they're meant to just be things you can work on in the background
some of the single trial challenges though can bite my *** with a side of choke on it
-
holy hell Tony's back
-
oh my god they're giving hints that Slenderman is the next killer
for reals though i think that was just one of your teammates or the killer walking around
-
-Has Iri Head
-Has pretty much already won
-plays really badly
-complains about infinites that aren't actually infinites instead of being patient and waiting it out since he can afford to at that point
Do i have all of that correct or am i missing something?
-
Probably yes, UK lockdown's pretty much killed all of my productivity and i imagine many other people feel the same way
-
RPD is still disabled so i'm willing to bet very few people actually have this achievement
-
Check his post history, it's pretty obvious he's trying to dethrone Sluzzy and failing miserably
-
Trickster can actually get downs against smart survivors with his power
if you're SWFing against a trapper you pretty much win on the spot
-

Me find grass near loop.
Me put trap in grass
Me lure survivor into trap.
Me laugh at survivor.
me does this exact same thing
survivor sees the trap
survivor stops
survivor turns to me
i hit survivor
survivor goes in the opposite direction tea-bagging the entire ######### way

Because there are a lot of "idiots" available.
well i wish i had some of them show up in my matches, all of the survs i've had knew exactly where all of the traps were and were actively avoiding them, EVEN WALKING INTO ME INSTEAD OF THE TRAP JUST TO SPITE ME

For the health of game, BOTH need to be fixed.
that would require a complete overall in the entire community's and possibly all of mankind's way of thinking, and unless BHVR is hiding a mass brainwashing device that is never going to happen

I wanna see you explain how a killer like trickster is good compared to Slinger and Huntress
he's a much more obvious jojo reference, that makes him automatically better

Don’t forget they are lazy. And survivor sided. Additionally to being killer sided. That switches up depending on the topic.
i really do hate how much this community zigzags about which side the devs are on
like come on guys, they're trying their best here (mostly, some of the bugs that have stuck around for years and removing Spacebilly are inexcusable)

I play killer 50% of my time in DBD. And I hardly if ever use Spirit, and I have no desire to play Nurse, and I do not own Freddy. I do just fine in most of my matches against SWF. Do I get a 4K every time? No. But I certainly don’t do much more different than competent solo survivors. Which brings me to believe that it isn’t as big of a deal as some on here would like to believe it is.
My point is that you can have your own opinion, but when you start to parade a specific statement like “they balance around low rank solo survivors” you better have the data to back it up. Or else it’s just an opinion.
and once again data isn't bloody necessary when balance changes and statements from the devs' own mouths make it incredibly obvious that's what they balance the game around
if they didn't balance it around low level players then every killer would be capable of contending with a tournament squad and neither Ruin nor Billy would have seen the changes they received a while back, and guess what? We live in a world where Ruin was changed to no longer effect skill checks because "it was frustrating for new players", Hillbilly got a pointless overheat because "he was frustrating for new players" and only 3 maybe 6 killers in the roster are capable of dealing with let alone win against a tourney squad
Seriously with how much you care about data i'd swear you were one of the devs on a alt

Again, where is the data?
you don't need data when balance changes and basic knowledge of how the game works make it very obvious that the game is balanced around lower skill players
you want proof? See the changes to Ruin a few years back, the changes to Hillbilly a few years back, the changes to Nurse a few years back, etc

So I am guessing all those Trappers, Pigs, Onis, Wraiths that can face SWF mean nothing? They just lucked out on their wins, no skill was present. Ever. Gotcha.
🙄
notice the "most of the time" and not "all of the time"
if you're going to be condescending at least read the full comment

Where is the data that shows that the game is balanced around low rank solo survivors? I often hear this so I am genuinely intrigued.
The game isn't balanced around low rank solo survivors, because if it was playing killer would be a lot harder than it is now.
Killers don't need to be balanced around SWF because they already do well against SWF.
You don't even need data, just looking at some of the balance changes over the years paints a pretty obvious picture
also, that line about all killers being good against SWF is just straight up false, a good SWF will beat every killer that isn't Nurse, Spirit or Blight pretty much every time
-
i mean, i can understand fixing it since it was a bug
but at the same time i am willing to wager it actually made BHVR more money since people like mixing and matching cosmetics
-
at the very least Tony was coherent and capable of speaking English, all i'm seeing are the ravings of a madman
-
Red's and Purples for both sides have the most consistent amounts of toxicity
Greens spike on occasion but those cases are few and far between
-
Under normal circumstances I'd tell you to laugh it off
but DDOSing is a federal crime, go to the police, show the screenshots, at worst they'll say they'll look into it, at best they're going to arrest this clown

Not true. Again, facecamping gets you one kill MAX against even a semi decent team.
semi-competent you mean, decent would imply they can loop, which doesn't exactly play a factor if the killer spends the match staring into someone's soul until they die

Side-question: In short, what does the virus canonically do to you as a human?
Cause idk.
if you're unlucky, you die then come back as a zombie
if you're REALLY unlucky you get mutated into a freak of nature with some type of ridiculous ability (like X-Men but way more disgusting)
edit: WHILE STILL ALIVE AND FEELING BY THE WAY
-
probably going to either make a infection hit with the tentacle and zombies not give a speed boost OR make the tentacle and zombies infect and injure
but then again this is BHVR we're talking about so who knows

Perhaps you 2 should switch roles.
Just saying.
Btw, the stats could be explained by the ridiculous rift challenges. Where people hook bomb or have to hide in the killers shadow for 80 seconds, etc.
especially since about half the challenges across the tomes require you to make extremely stupid plays to get them done in any reasonable length of time (*coughHeroicCausecough*)
-
Normally i don't have that much of a issue navigating indoor maps (Lerys is my favourite and i can usually loop and navigate it no problem) but honestly RPD is even worse to move around then Hawkins, mainly due to the lighting and size (plus a larger second floor)

even without the perk, you just know somehow
i blame the perk for that feeling honestly, i never had that feeling for the most part, now i feel it EVERY SINGLE ######### GAME
-
it's ok, but it's main use just seems to be showing how broken survivor spawns can be
i am not kidding when i say most of my matches with the perk have made me go "They are all on gens, awesome"
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I wish I could understand how a patch can break a killer that's totally unrelated and didn't even get any changes.
You ever hear of Source Spaghetti?
It's like that. but with DBD
-
He's good but has a few problems, the main ones being infecting survivors giving a speed boost, zombies being jank and hitbox tomfoolery
aside from those he's pretty good
-
Congrats man!
-
the few times i have seen people get hit by zombies it's because they were at a loop and had to make a choice between getting downed by the zombie or downed by me
not sure how you get hit that often unless you just have incredibly bad luck with their movements
-
this is because infecting survivors with your tentacle gives you objective points, not deviousness points
so you can get some extra points over the cap, which is nice
-

Nemesis has no new skin.
I think it's because the devs are trying to licence X Gon Give It To Ya before they added a new skin for him
take a wild guess why

i saw it spawn on the second floor once
I am still questioning how or why that happened
-
i feel so bad for you console players, how you manage it is beyond me

The nerfs to Demo’s two add ons are a good thing, it’s literally all I’ve seen on every Demo since the change and he has other strong add ons that deserve a chance to shine.
Honestly was expecting Barb's Glasses and Black Heart to get nerfed, those 2 ran with SF/Enduring and either Bamboozle or Crowd Control essentially left survivors with no way of escaping chases alive
I'd much rather Demo be balanced and fun rather then Overpowered

That's about like Lucky Break, it's worthless and nobody uses it.
Survivor perks are always balanced for special cases but not killer perks. There is major double standards when Balanced Landing was nerfed because of a map or two but Tinkerer gets a free pass on Blight. Decisive Strike because a killer so happened to find a survivor healing, a 1 time use perk I might add. Well, what about Tinkerer on Bubba? I don't like be instasawed because I didn't have enough time to move.
BBQ and Tinkerer needs this treatment and get the nerf hammer, because they are too strong and game breaking on fast killers.
Tinkerer needing a nerf i agree with, BBQ is fine as is

they made the decision to ship it in that state

Broken of Kin says hi
I still have nightmares of the the desync and first MMR test
-
1.The game isn't even remotely close to balanced enough to justify it, 90% of the perks are completely redundant and only 3 maybe 6 of the killers are even remotely close to being able to handle a competitive match
2.SBMM kills off content creators, this is true for literally every single game this train-wreck of a system has been implemented in
3.Putting a system designed with competitive play in mind in a game that almost no one takes seriously is a stupid idea
4.if the tests are anything to go by then all MMR will be is one-sided curb-stomps, nobody but sick bullies want those

Studious Innovator: You read quite a bit and know how to observe, as such you know what you need to do, how to do it, and how to make it better
For each gen completed this perk gains a token, While working on a gen, you can press E to trigger a difficult skill check, completing this skill check awards 3/4/5% additional gen progress, missing it will not remove any progress but will cause a noise notification and reveals your aura to the killer for 30/25/20 seconds afterwards, if all gens are completed you can trigger this effect on the exit gates
"Ah, so that's what you're meant to do, now let me do it better"
Introvert: You prefer to be alone, it helps you focus
Completing objectives (gens, totems, etc) by yourself gives this perk gains a token, pressing E while this perk has a token will allow you to see the killers aura for 5/7/10 seconds
"Just let me work on this, I can handle it"
Puzzling Plans: Your plans make sense, usually only to you
Performing certain action (gens, totems, chests) will give this perk a token, pressing E while this perk when performing certain actions will activate certain effects
Idle: See the auras of all other survivors and nearby objects for 3/4/5 seconds
In front of a chest: Rummage through it again, the resulting item will be of a higher quality and come with 0/1/2 additional addons
Cleansing a totem: Display a counter that shows how many Dull and Hex totems remain on the map for 5/10/15 seconds
Being chased: gain a 5/10/15% additional vaulting speed for 10/15/20 seconds
In front of a broken wall: begin a 25/20/15 second long action that repairs the wall when it is complete
Opening a Exit Gate: See the aura of the killer for 5/10/15 seconds
"Going to be honest with you, I was lying when I said I had a complex plan that was prepared for any situation, I've been making it up on the spot entirely"
Here are mine

The first time i ever succeeded in doing a Demo portal bait, someone was going to go for a save in the basement, so i portaled to one on a hill right by it, the surv fell for it hook line and sinker
It's like bamboozling someone with Mirage in Apex, you may escape, that's fine, but i leave with your pride
