I mean i play killer mostly but damn nurse freaking goes all "you are already dead" when im survivorIt's true that it's not easy, and I agreed that she could use some changes. However, it's not impossible, even when I play nurse I've had good survivors juke me, hide from me, and more. It's a matter of who plays better, it cuts out some second chances and allows a good player to actually play well. Survivors complain like it's over when you face a nurse. You can hide, juke and more to get away and heal. You can still gen rush, use DS, DH is a huge counter since it punishes her hard. You can still pallet and flashlight save, instant heal, all before ever being hooked. Then once you are you still need to be hooked multiple times unless the killer camps which all killers could do, but then you gen rush and get out. She's not different than other killers besides the fact that she punishes looping which she was designed to do. The game has shifted away from stealth and into goofing off, and even the game designers themselves said that you need to play stealth and are supposed to play that way. It's the ones that choose not to that get destroyed by the nurse and rightfully so. Now does that make it right to ruin other peoples games because you've made that choice not to change your playestyle to fight a nurse? That's what this discussion is for.

She's just like every other killer in the game, has her own weaknesses, has been nerfed more times than any other killer in the game. To knowingly ruin the match for everyone else because YOU can't play right against a specific killer isn't fair, don't play the game at all then. This isn't just a case of it being your choice, once you hit that ready button you are choosing to play the match.

That wouldn't work imo, unless the cafting area for the parts were totally random like no specific spawn locations. Because if they had any system killers can learn where they spawn and patrol those areas specifically in the first few minutes and get a 4k a lot easier or hold the game hostage by doing the objective of guarding.JanTheMan said:Survivors should have to, at least install one part to start working on a gen. -

Basically 4% chance to get a free second chance. Some people will fight until they are blue in the face that this is "fine/balanced" but just imagine the hate that would pour into the forums if killers had a 4% chance to instantly put someone into phase 2 when hooked for the first time.Interresting proposal...4% chance to skip a hook.
Is it always 4% or does it goes up if 2 or more people are on the hook?

On consoles, when people are toxic, they have to DM you, so they can't get punished by BHVR for poor sportsmanship. It would contain the toxicity, and keep it in context. This really needs to be added. That's why you report them to Microsoft/Sony (depending on the platform) and never respond to them in any way. Microsoft in particular is usually quicker with the ban hammer.
It'd still be nicer for everyone to keep it in context. There's a lot taken out if you just read chat logs from console dms

Syringes are ultra rare and killers are supposed to be okay with that being used since its "hard to get".

And you know what? they don't see that there is a deeply fundamental flaw with that way of thinking and they never will because they simply don't have the mental facility to be able to see other peoples perspectives, it's all really quite sad.
Because lets be honest right here and now if you say "then the killers a crappy killer" that can apply just as much as to people and ruin on this event. Just saying, you can't say its one side who ruins the fun when it can be both

Though why the hell dc? Are they(survivors that get downed once or twice)... That desperate to have a 45 point match?(other then crashes)
Possibly, if they put out an event that forces grinding, it will definitely make people frustrated and quit games where things look like wasted time. Might also be just that, people who don't play much come back to grind the event, and just abuse the lack of dc punishment.
Guessing the current state of the game also triggers more dc's than usual, there are so many bugs that cheapen matches, hits clips through walls and objects, vaulting is messy, etc.. etc..

It would have to be ether Frank or Joe, since i imagine these two are the most Athletic.(unless julie was a Gymnastic Club gal) i think Joe would be it and he would have the 24m TR not since he is less intense then Frank, but Frank is the Mastermind, thus have a more imposing presence and Joe was thw first to take the knife in the backstory. Yes, this exactly. This is what I feel they should have gone with, then make changes as needed. I saw someone suggest to have the other members hide in corners near Survivors and such. Maybe have some sort of alert system. Seriously, anything is good.
I do want them to keep vaulting though. That's a cool unique mechanic.

3 man games aren't fun since the game is balanced around 4...
Who cares about their fun? If it bothers them so much then there is the "Leave Match" option right there. If they don't want to be in the game then they are free to leave. Not like it won't be counted against them anyways considering the devs don't do anything about dc'ing. Fun in this game is something that does not exist. You don't care about the others persons fun. Because when a survivor dvs the killer is robbed of the bloodpoints AND emblem points that would allow them to pip besides it's clearly intended as a middle finger to the killer when they DC during the animation when the game calculates it once the animation is finished just like with the sacrifice animation, it only counts once it finishes.
The killer actually gets a quitter bonus from the dc, but you wouldn't know that because you probably DC when you see a 3 man game.

Isn't fun for the killer. Some people enjoy competition...
Like i said, i don't care about either sides fun. 3 man survivor team? Good for me, ez points. i'm on the 3 man team, fine by me. Gather as many points as i can, and if possible, loop the killer. Simple as that.
Good thing we don't balance things around what you think, since you don't care about either side's fun. Imagine if the devs followed this logic.
At the end of the day, three-man games aren't how it should be.The survivor side will just get stomped if the killer knows what he's doing, and the killer will barely have a game. And even if the devs don't do enough about DCing, the other survivors will end up losing points, items, offerings, and time. More needs to be done against people who DC.
To an extent, I think we should care about the other side's fun. Not to the point where we get guilt tripped into playing by made-up rules or anything, but when there's an issue that impacts the game a lot, like DCing without punishment or imbalance, we should care enough to try and fix it.
No, not gonna happen. You have one side that complains if something is done with the other side, and you have another side that uses "Sweaty" add-ons just to get the 4k. Get over it, it's not something to be complaining about.
