You got more points than all the survivors. Why you complaining? I bet you pipped too
You clearly don't play killer if you think they pipped.. they barely black pipped at best.

I know it sounds like I'm whining, but how is this actually fair? How am I supposed to improve when I get stomped on as killer all of the time. I could either wait in lobby as a survivor for 10 mins to find a game that goes terrible, or instantly find a game as killer against red rank/rank 1 survivors? I genuinely would like some advice in how to improve, other than just "get good" as I've played this game for 3 years and this has always happened to me
A Rank 6 Spirit should be able to beat that team unless they were a 4-man SWF that wanted to win and not goof off. Killer Ranks don't align with Survivor Ranks.
Also, Brutal and STBFL on Spirit? Those have no synergy and should not be used on her. You basically only gave yourself 2 perks.

After this next update you've successfully ruined the game. Seriously if you're a killer who's whining about ANYTHING right now its cause you're a sweaty try hard who feels like your feeble attempts at a 4K should be rewarded. Good luck trying to get any challenging games after the update. Views have gone down on twitch. DBD main streamers are changing to other games. Like you can hit me around the tree what more could you want? 99% of you slug the last two to prevent hatch. I'm just confused. Honestly.
Are you being for real? I can't tell with all the fake posts being made.

No I want to fix it. I don't want to play the game exploited, so I am asking what can I do to fix it.
The stretch resolution IS the exploit... to fix it, undo what you did to exploit the FOV with a stretched resolution.

I watch red rank survivors. I was talking about his argument to Peanits where he was “being strategic” in hooking the Jane despite getting infectious fright on both people who were down. Which negated his stated reason for eating the ds.
I brought up rank because despite the large numbers of boosted red ranks it still gives a good idea of the overall quality of the match and as always would show any busted ranking to the forums.
He’s likely rank 8 and still doesn’t realize who to pick up or not. Clearly, he made a mistake by trying to pick up the last person he hooked. DS isn’t really an issue as it’s easily worked around. But it does punish killers who are too efficient by making them have to wait. It’s a slow down mechanic not an anti tunneling mechanic. It’s to slow the hooks down “just a little bit.”

Its fine. In this upcoming patch, the use to be bare minimum (8 pallets) on the map is now gonna the normal, because the devs don't play their game and understand balance...
So glad youre spreading the rumour they are changing pallets which they’ve already said numerous times isn’t happening. They’re changed a single pallet in a single room on a single map. That’s it.

Would be nice to improve matchmaking to compete with equal skilled players .Either that or your game is too killer sided.
It’s not bait. Go look at killer stats and how often red rank killers win. It’s 75% of their games.

Hello Guys This is honestly my Opinion. That why I want to discuss it. Recently I play killer until my rank is red. Here is my opinion. I basically hate SWF party with Discord running at background. They have a lot of Information especially with Perk Triple O ( Object Of Obsession ) , Head on save locker, Gen rush ( prove thyself ). Already Unbalance for killer and the worse one after that they mock me when game ended in game chat.
And then , I just play survivor and meet match management near the setting below to allow DLC killer or not, perk , etc ( you can check or un-check that)
I hope killer receive same things like survivor having match management ( allow party survivor or not )
If u ask me How long I play this game. I just play couple hundred of hours play this game before this game change to hatch game. ( 2 players run the game end as draw and before last standing perk become left behind perk )
What are you going on about? The Match Management screen shows up is a bug and does not allow you to affect anything in regular gameplay.

Because killers needed buffing in high ranks?
and it isn’t just killers who get what they want; other changes have been made to killer such as the ruin change which they didn’t want.
After looking at the stats released by BHVR regarding red rank killers, they win 75% of their games on average, with any killer. There’s no way killers can get 3-4Ks in 75% of their games at red ranks and then say killers need a buff in red ranks.
I was thinking killers were under powered until I saw the stats.

I can confirm that this does not happen every single time a team is 3-gen'd on a map. In fact, I can assure you that it doesn't even happen that frequently. LOL
It can and does happen more frequently than everyone is saying, especially when it’s any form of SWF. When I bring Plunderers I can get a Pink or Purple key almost every match.

While killer is a miserable experience to play at rank one there's one thing I despise more than that. SOLO SURVIVOR.
I have 3000+ hours in this game (killer and survivor player 50/50) and the amount of STUPID survivors at rank 1 is unbelievable.
This just happened to me: One survivor gets grabbed off a totem with thrill of the hunt against a pig, where you have plenty of time to react when she stands up and you know she sees that you cleanse a totem. Then they dc before you can unhook them because yeah its the killer fault you play badly and YOU entitled piece of ... DC because of that. Second guy gets downed immediately, kills themselves on the hook. Then there's me who jukes the killer for legit 5 mins because the killer decides to tryhard. I wonder what the last guy is doing all this time, I mean he could have finished the last 4 gens by that time. I get hooked, last guy does nothing, I see him in a corner crouching waiting for me to die so he can get hatch.
I derank for that.
That's just one of many examples of how BAD solo survivor is. Without SWF and a competent team (well I don't demand survivors that are PRO players that know everything in this game and play perfectly, at least a team that's not STUPID) makes things so much better, so much more chill, etc. Just having survivors that don't DC immediately, unhook you in front of the killer or do other stupid ######### makes this game a lot better. Just NORMAL survivors that try to win and play well for their team.
I don't know why the devs don't take hours played in this game for their matchmaking. I don't want to get matched up with other survivors with 130 hours in this game at rank 1, with their rank 18 SWF friend and another guy who does nothing because he is scared of the terror radius. Also, finally don't punish me if other survivors DC which makes me lose ranks as a survivor (killer too!).
I realize it’s frowned upon but I just started deranking from rank 1 survivor. While I realize my survivor teammates won’t be better but at least it won’t be against Rank 1 killers. I don’t feel bad either because I STILL end up with the most points in my games.

The best part is when you downed her you got infectious on both of them. The only thing wrong with this is the victimhood mentality of someone who made a mistake despite having every other possible play available. You did this, the perk only helped reinforce that you ######### up and instead of admitting that you 100% could have played that better you are seeking to blame anything but yourself.
On a side note, I'd love to see the ranks as the video tells me you and these survivors aren't high up there with good game sense.
You clearly don’t watch red rank survivors. 90% of them are potato’s that do things lile this every single game.
The issue here is that killers are either REALLY good or really bad. It will be interesting when MMR comes along. I suspect it will be quite telling.

I picked her up to hook her further away, so I can then see the aura of the other two survivors on the ground with BBQ, it was strategic. What I didn't count on, was being punished for taking advantage of their mistakes by staying too close to the hook.
I understand your POV, however, I really have to disagree in seeing the logic of why someone in my position should be punished for capitalizing on THEIR mistakes.
Clearly you should have let them all bleed out just to be sure. Try that next time, I suspect they’ll all die. And you’ll never be hit by DS. Peanits answer clearly doesn’t answer what you asked. You’re punished because you’re not abiding by the 60 second window where you can’t pick a survivor back up. So, like I said, just let them all bleed out next time. There’s truth that you should have realized they had DS, or a good chance at having it. DS is not anti-tunnel. It’s a nice little timeout for survivors to sit slugged for 60 seconds and think about the poor choices they’ve made in their life
it’s a valid strategy

This is not from a killers standpoint but for both sides. swf isnt really the problem on it's own. Discord and console party chats is the problem that needs to be addressed. The devs need to take a stance on this and make it where you cant que in game or start a game in lobby while a third party voice chat is active. They need to give solos a ingame party chat if it was intended for survivors to have it. So at least survivors are nerfed fairly for all then nerfing all of them because of swf party chats.
If communication for survivors wasn't intended. then they need start adding into the game a blocker for party chats for console and have pc flag discord so they cant start lobbies or games while its active. Mainly because those are considered exploits that should be bannable. For anyone who doesn't understand. The act of using third party software to give yourself a unfair advantage that the developers didn't intend is a exploit. That frankly needs to be bannable.
But let's be real no dev will do this. They will hide. because they want to shill money from us as long as they can with shoddy design games they create. Why else do you see so many bugs that takes weeks or been a year and still not fixed. But I rather vent this frustration thenhold onto it.
No dev would do this because they’re not silly. Steam has team voice built right in. You want them to ban the use of Steam? Or their cell phones?
edit: take a look at this: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/106566/ these stats show that killer is out performing and that most people who complain about playing killer are just bad.
there are some specific game play mechanics and perks that are bullshitty for survivors but in general killers are wrecking survivors.

@Dzeikor said:
It seems like no matter what you do gens will still be done way faster than the killer can catch survivors. It takes less than a minute for survivors to complete a generator almost all the time especially if they spawn next to one which happens very often and usually together. In that amount of time a killer can down 1 survivor at best if you're lucky and in order to kill a survivor you need to hook it 3 times,That means you have to chase 3 times just for a survivor, that if you commit to only chasing them.By the time at least 1 survivor is dead there's a high chance 3 or more generators to be already done and by that point there's not much you can do,maybe get 1 more kill but no more.
That is completely false. If there are 1-2 gens left and you've killed a survivor already, it's almost an easy 4k at that point. You underestimate how screwed the team is when it's a 3v1.

If it's to stop the first hit, then you've likely screwed your team over, and all will proceed according to plan. You get hooked.

I just want to know why this was implemented? Like what problem does this solve? A double standard that killers didn't get to keep theirs? Well, the amount of addons survivors have and have to grind for to even keep up with killers is ridiculous. Not only that, but the Bloodwebs also spawn items, things killers don't even need to grind for.
@Chatkovski said:
I agree.
- Killers lose 2 addons per game.
- If we consider that the survivors have a 1/2 probability of escaping, they lose on average 2.5 items/addons.
The fact that survivors can obtain items in play is not an acceptable compensation. There are only three chests, and it's totally random. If we compare to killers, this is equivalent to their powers. The killers choose the killer they will play. For me, this compensates for the depletion of the items.
And to make the situation a little worse, I remind you that if the survivors ignore the killer they will be playing against, the killer always sees the items brought by the survivors into the lobby.
I fully accept that the addons are always consumed, for everyone. But I want free items, in one rarity.
- this guarantees that survivors always start a game with at least one item.
- survivors will no longer have to hesitate to use a rarer item, afraid of losing it.
- this frees up space in the bloodwebs in favor of addons.
Are you all high? Items give you major advantages in the game. That is why they are a resource and shouldn't be infinite.
Addons are meant to be consumables. It's not complicated.

@Fibijean said:
It's intentional. I believe the idea behind it is both thematic and practical consistency. Basically, being in Madness Tier III is supposed to stop you from being able to do basically anything, and they decided that mending shouldn't be an exception to that.
The best way to prevent it from being a problem is to sprint until you're sure you're not being chased, and then start Snapping Out Of It the moment you stop sprinting. Assuming you don't fail the skill checks (which you shouldn't, they're pretty easy to hit), that should still leave you with enough time to mend afterwards.
Pretty sure you don't even need "plenty of time" right? The mending bar stops decreasing the moment you begin to mend I thought. So you only need half a second to start the mending process and then you're good.

Being slugged for a 4k is boring because who wants to be on the ground for 2 minutes while your teammate plays like an immersed P3 Claudette.
I've DCd before when this happens because I want to get into another match and I'm sure everyone else does too, so might as well speed it up.
Also, I really can't stand killers who slug me next to hatch. Just kill me on hook, close hatch, and patrol the exit gates, it's not hard.
DC penalty was made specifically for people like you.

Sorry but what? I can down 2 other survivors in that time, and if by magic I happen to down the survivor that got unhooked I get punished for it?
And why can survivors have an invisibility perk? By your logic I can waste 4 minutes in a match by leaving survivors alone
I can't get over the fact you're saying invisibility instead of invincibility. It's also crazy for you to suggest they're invincible considering how many survivors complain about being slugged because of DS and have to sit there doing nothing for a minute..

Seriously just make it completely random.
Will shorten queue times and I think the element of the unknown will be interesting.
Rank is abstract anyhow – an excellent player who has not played for 3 months will have dropped right down.
What’s the worst that could happen? In the worst scenario a noob killer gets trounced by a group of top-tier survivors? – that happens anyhow.
The idea that rank is abstract is nonsense. As a general rule Rank 1 Survivors are significantly better than Green Rank Survivors. The major problem is when people try to equate Survivor and Killer Ranks. Green Rank killers can 4K Red Rank survivors. That's how the game is balanced.

This is not ok at all. It is in no way fair or fun. Matchmaking needs to be based off of the highest ranked survivor, not the lowest in a swf group. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
You should not have lost this. So either those Green and Yellow are not really Green and Yellow or you got tilted. The Rank 13 and 19 are easily killable with Deathslinger, regardless of how weak he is as a killer. This one is on you mate. I can understand the frustration at being ranked against two red ranks as a Rank 14 killer. But I assure you, with practice, you'll be able to 4k these types of teams.

I've had a couple games tonight where I've been hiding WAY out of the way in weird spots and the killer has bee-lined right toward me, and they haven't been using chili or any other perks that would have told them where I was. I know there's a lot of anti-cheat software on the game, but is it possible that these players have a hack that's showing them where survivors are?
Don't underestimate how good killers can be at predicting where you are at. I can remember seeing someone when I go to hook someone else, and then calculate the only places they could possibly be hiding if I don't see scratch marks.
It's quite unlikely they were cheating, and if it's a wall hack there is no way for you to prove it from your perspective. They've had to have recorded it from theirs.

So at least we can bring in a better Killer, add on
As a Trapper main, for me those coil add on makes disarm trap slower are the most useless. Many time I use double coil add on just to get rid of them. And vs a hard core SWF with 3 head on.
Last time they showed stats on SWF.. it's something like 75% of games are some form of a SWF.. So just assume it's likely not an all Solo team, and your problem is solved.

First a couple things, I do run Inner Strength quite a bit especially with Detective or a Map so I consider it better than SC for me, and I almost never run SC anymore unless I'm doing a meme build. But are they really that different? People who run Self-care are ridiculed and Inner Strength is considered by many to be almost meta if not quite top tier.
Self-care takes 32 seconds, barring Sloppy/Thana/etc and can be done unlimited times wherever you are.
Inner Strength takes 10 seconds to cleanse a totem and 10 seconds to heal, so 20 seconds total it's got the edge there clearly. However the way the time is split makes it a bit harder to quantify. It's only 10 seconds to heal when you actually get to that point so you can prep a lot of the work. But there is some additional time to travel and find a totem or locker.
The other thing that makes it harder to compare is sometimes cleansing totems is so important you would do it even without Inner Strength so it's just a bonus, for example any Hex ruin or when you are protecting against NOED. However the likelihood of other people running it means you may only find 1 totem therefore only use it once all game.
TLDR I think Inner Strength is better than Self-care, but is it that far and that clear cut to everyone else?
Self Care is incredibly bad because of the Opportunity Cost.. You're not doing anything at all for that entire time.
Doing a gen injured is better.
Saving someone is better.
Healing someone else is better.
Imagine this situation:
Someone is on the hook. Two are injured. And the 4th is on a gen.
Should you both Self Care? Or should one of you heal the other, so the healed person can make the save. Then the injured person finishes the gen with the 4th. And the 4th heals you. If you play like this, you'll be Rank 1. That's all it requires.
People lose because they go hide in the corner of the map self-caring. And they win because their team carried them hard.
Self Care is bad because the Opportunity Cost is really high.

I’ve played this game with some of my friends since the beginning (2016), when it was really fun. But we all stopped after a year, when this game become “only for the killer’s fun”. I thought this couldn’t evolve worse, but here we are 3 years later when as a survivor you literally have no chance against a killer, nor fun playing.
I’ve returned to this game a week ago and the first new thing I see are more killer buffs??
Ok, I get it, you want the killer to be able to catch every survivor even if it is “experimented”, but how about the rest of us, not red ranks or anything?! We literally spawn near the killer every damn match, and you plan to make the maps even smaller... Besides that, there are hooks everywhere so no chance of wiggle off if you aren’t swf... And the killer can now close the hatch?! What should I do if I am the only one remained, he closes the hatch and the time is running out? Just die, isn’t it lovely? Should I bring a key on every match? Or try to open the door? I’ve tried and it’s near impossible when the killer is Demogorgon, Billy, Huntress, Spirit etc. Not to say that killer mains are salty and thirsty af.
I’ve played this game many hours in the past and never abused an infinite, swf gen rush or any of the things you try to prevent. I am not “God” at playing survivor, that’s why I’ve never had a red rank, yet I try my best to just enjoy playing but it has become impossible to even “learn” to play again.
I think I’ve played killer for 2-3 times in my life and even so I can make a 4 men...
You guys just make this game less fun for every new player or survivor main. But who cares about them, right?
Note: Sorry for possible mistakes, my mother language isn’t english.
Get your killer rank to purple then come back here.. Of course you can 4k as a Brown rank Killer..
10% smaller on SOME maps it not that much smaller. All they did was get rid of some infinite/god loops.

I wanna ask veteran killers how where you find motivation to play next match when you see games are so unfair? Thank you for your answers. I like a game so far, but will feel free to move to another one, if matchmaking will be not fixed....
Once I accepted that I sucked as killer I started doing the following:
Played with no perks and no addons
Picked a killer I wanted to learn
Start each game fresh and untilted by the last one.
Create a process of pressure gen, chase, down, pressure gen / unhook. Repeat. Don’t get emotional. Just make it a process. If you lose oh well. Time to try again next game. Don’t stay in end game. Don’t chat. Click continue. And queue up.
once you do this over and over you’ll start to win more and more games. Before you know it you’ll start winning against red ranks.
most red rank survivors are pretty boosted and bad. Most SWFs play really stupidly once you hook someone. Take advantage of it.
Dont play with “honor.” If they’re around the hook waiting for you to leave, make them pay for it by staying near the hook and trying to down them.
If they want to rush the unhook with BT wait it out. You can grab them while they try to unhook.
Know when to drop someone you’re carrying to down someone else. Also know when they might have DS or their wiggle bar has reset.
Know how to pick up survivors without getting hit with a flashlight.
Let them blind you at pallets. It wastes their time and you can still hear them.
Most importantly, don’t get upset. Just move on and do it again.

Iridescent head reduces hatchet count by 4
Iridescent head only insta-downs if the hatchet hits from further than 24m away(works with her Tr and her achievement)
Theyve pretty much said it’ll be like Deathslingers. 32m required range. And I can’t imagine they’ll keep the reduction of hatchets. It would be useless if it reduced by 4 and has range requirement.
32m min for instadown and all 5 hatchets would be fine.

He absolutely needed a rework from his old self, but why did they give so much to him?
Let's have a look:
1) He has a mechanic that puts survivors to sleep without any effort by him. This mechanic can disorientate survivors and allow for Freddy to use his anti-loop tools without even hitting them.
2) He has anti-loop powers that can shut down loops very easily.
3) He has a powerful mobility tool that can allow him to easily pressure survivors.
4) The sleep state can act as a stall mechanic for survivors who need to find others or their correspond table to release them from the dream world.
So he has strong anti-loop, mobility, stall potential and a mechanic that acts as a pseudo-monitor and abuse perk. Why does he have so much? Other killers only have one or two of these powers but Freddy has all three and doesn't work for them as hard.
You forgot to mention that he makes BT saves next to impossible.

I don’t wanna have to deal with triple pallets as Pig more than I want to deal with (Infectious Fright) Oni with one pallet on the map.
It’s not removing a strong window and wording it that way tells me you don’t play killer or have never made it out of yellow ranks. Those were not strong windows. They’re infinite/god loops. Survivors can run to them with no skill and ensure They survive, running around and around forever. That should have never been in the game to begin with.

Not always the full 4 minutes but at least a few minutes while the killer searches high and low for the other player.
Fact is I did nothing wrong. I’ve had the game ruined for me as a player and customer too. So why am I then expected to sit there staring at the ground? Why am I punished for what other people did?
It’s ridiculous and shows that it really is all about killer fun. Better developers don’t do this.
That doesn’t even make sense. You’re not punished. You’re slugged. Which is a game mechanic. If you want to counter it, bring Unbreakable. Or get better at not getting downed.
you think killers enjoy having to slug to ensure a 4K? It’s the hatch mechanics that cause this. Killers don’t enjoy having to leave someone on the ground either. Because it’s easy for them to be picked back up by someone else.

the new patch will make "looping" pretty much not a thing anymore.
the fact that now every map will have in the future just 5 pallets and will be very small i think its time to play immersed again. the time is over with playing aggresiv as survivor!
first we make sure we have a claudette with a dark outfit we call them "blendettes" this is very important for hiding in bushes, bushes are known as claudettes natural habitat. also when you make it even harder for the killer you're free to use a mcmillian offering its the darkest map.
our first perk will be urban invasion a very important perk for the new meta. everytime we hear the heartbeat we will urban in the corner and blend with enviorment and let the killer search for us for 2 minutes and waste time.
BUT because killers can hear the breathing of survivor from a mile away we need to equip Spine chill so we are prepared for the killer.
and the last 2 perks i suggest is using self care with iron will. because we will always go in the corner and self care for 60 seconds and iron will helps to not make noises.
i hope the devs also make sure to change the boldness emblem so we actually get points for sneaking around the map for 5 minutes without getting caught!
and the last thing is we wait till the devs decide to punish and nerf immersed gameplay.
good luck
Do you often just throw random words and numbers together? None of what you’ve said is true. None.

Just 360 and dodge the killer 50 times with your mad skillz, stop hiding behind pallets coward! /s
There are only 5 gens to do. Even if the killer gets TWO hooks per gen, you still escape. What are you talking about? I can’t tell if you’re serious.
Are you the type who stops doing a gen as soon as you hear a heart beat? So no gens get done? If a team just does gens and doesn’t crouch in the corner of the map, it’s not possible to lose.
You sound too concerned about getting hooked that the fear makes it so you don’t actually do anything. That’s called being a potato in red ranks.

Nobody was complaining about the removal of infinites. We were complaining about the lack of pallets that exist now and the sheer amount of dead zones there are.
So you’re upset over not being able to hold W and throw pallet after pallet?

Survivors don't have more options than just pallets for most of their survability so you tell me what they're supposed to do if there's nothing else.
You can’t be serious.. DS, BT, Unbreakable, Adrenaline, Syptic Bottle, etc. They have a ton for survivability. You can also go around many of these loops more than once before throwing a pallet.
the issue is that things have been way too easy for survivors for over a year. The second they might require 1% more skill they lose their minds.
In terms of game balance, if you’re escaping 50% of the time and dying the other 50% then everyone is fine. It sounds like survivors want to escape every time or else it’s not “balanced.”
My GF started playing 2-3 months ago. She’s red ranked survivor. She doesn’t even know how to loop killers and just holds W. She escapes more than half her games.
You have no idea what you’re talking about.

I am on the PTB right now, and all i can say is: Is this a little late april fools joke?? It has to be, right?
First game i play: Gas Heaven
There is 1 (ONE) single pallet on the whole middle of the map! One!
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/230/4H3MVCDIRVWD.jpg
The rest of it is a deadzone with absolutly nothing but here and there some trash!
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/101/KAWZ4X5O95AK.jpg
1 Pallet in the garage
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/235/17S8ZEX379VI.jpg
1 more pallet between killershack and deadzone
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/673/KZ4WVS1QIRA6.jpg
4 Jungle Gyms with 1 pallet each
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/384/6O5O0ZJKTNHG.jpg
And the Killer shack pallet.
8 pallets on the whole map. Are we good? I mean, ARE WE GOOD? I honestly have to ask without sarkasm. Have you forgot to add the pallets in those silly big deadzones and the silly big middle of the map (2 gens by the way... 1 pallet... )
This is even worse then i have expected, and i thought it will be aweful.
2Nd Game: Gas Heaven again
This time i count 7 pallets! And most of them are even weaker then before.
3rd Game: Thompson House
I am already really frustrated, so i stopped counting pallets but it looks like more or less the same ammount. All i can say at this point is that the map looks really really aweful, even worse then the old thompson house. It feels squeezed, not well designed at all.
I might try out a few more games after a break, but if this goes on like Thompson and Gas Heaven.. ahhm well... good luck with your next game devs. At least you know how you killed it.
Are you seriously upset they’re requiring survivors to have a little more skill than to run pallet to pallet throwing it mindlessly? Hopefully this will get rid of the potato survivors in red ranks.

I guess this won't change anything, but at least I'll make it clear.I'm TIRED seeing how this game goes absolutely in the wrong way, patch after patch. There is a BIG problem into the game, ONLY one, source of every other problems that you don't want to solve... or don't want to... the gen rush. But... no, instead correct gen rush, and you know there are a lot of ways to do it, many of them said infinite times on this forum, You are patch after patch transforming the game in a sort of... joke. The map changes of this patch are a shame. Yes, A SHAME. You're killing the game for both sides, survs and killers. Today's game is "rishing gens vs broken killers", now in ######### maps... 6 pallets on torment creek, 7 pallets on thompsons's house... Not weird if survs only want to rush, and that's the point, it was neccesary because gens fly away in a breath, and killers can't afford a chase for more than 20 seconds. Solution? Get out pallets, get out windows, get out everything. But don't worry, survs will manage to rush gens faster, and then one year later chases will be a straight line with another smart patch... What a funny game!. My killer matches (rank 1, if you ask) still being same as always, 5 minutes rush except I feel lucky and survs want to play with half brain, and practically suicide themselves. I love trapper, but it's impossible to play as, at least in a "fair way", and as I NEVER camp or tunnel (not funny for anyone), I'm forced to play hillbilly or spirit, and yet I have to slug a bit if I want a decent match... I'm sure you're afraid to make a game where reach rank 1 is about to skill, you're afraid of survs must prove true skill playing, instead push a button as fast as they can... and you're afraid killers wouldn't want to play if they need more than 20 seconds to catch someone thanks to a broken power or the lack of pallets.
So, as a rank 1 surv and killer, I will say this:
Devs, change your mind and take steps to put an end to the "gen rush mechanic", making a better game. And build decent maps, not deserts, let the outcome of the games be defined by the ability of survivors and assassins, and not how fast is pushed a button, or how broken is a killer, or how much he camps. Stop thinking make the game easy is better, and let's start to give value to skill, for survs and killers. The killers frustration is (should be) the game time, it shouldn't be play vs a good surv who know how to play on pallets and structures!
Stop gen rush!
Stop broken killers!
Stop empty maps!
(sorry, I'm not a english native speaker)
You’re upset they got rid of exploit windows? How exactly are using infinite’s skillful? This patch will require more skill now not less.. The infinite’s are the equivalent of your misplaced “running in a straight line.”

I see the patch notes are nerfing survivors so much. They keep saying “A good player can loop the killer in certain spots.” Can I just emphasize GOOD players? What about the new players? What about players who aren’t like the Pro players? Its harder for players like us, the non-pro players, to escape. Several of my friends agree the game is TOO killer oriented from killer being able to close hatch the moment it opens to Doc being able to take away everything the survivors can do. I can understand the closing of the hatch, but making it where it can’t be closed as soon as it opens or making it a perk with the same effect would make it easier for survivors. And about the Doc. He is way to OP. It’s impossible to escape since his shocks stun you so you can’t vault, and it makes it where you can’t use items at max madness 3. It’s ridiculous. His Static Blast ability is insanely OP as well. You can be right outside is terror radius and still be affected by it. A friend of mine mains Doc and agrees that he needs a nerf. The game has become too killer oriented. I personally think it should also be looked at from the non-pro player perspective, rather than just the pro. I don’t know who will agree or disagree, but it’s just my thought on the game. It’s a great game, I just think it needs to be looked over and adjusted. And to anyone who mentions rank, it doesn’t matter what your rank is. Someone could be rank 20 and be a god at a killer. Anyways, I hope anyone who reads has a great day.
All the changed they’ve made in these past years have been for the casual low rank survivors.

It definitely needs looking into but it only exists so killers can have their power trips fulfilled so I can't see it being changed. For example in Resident Evil if someone disconnects you can then leave the game because these developers are actually good and understand that you shouldn't make everyone else stay in a ruined game due to one baby. The first person to quit still gets a penalty.
However in DBD when 2 quit these devs expect you to sit there slugged on the ground for 4 minutes while the killer sweats for his "hard earned" 4k. Yes they literally expect you to sit there bored as punishment even though you did nothing wrong. Such a decision could only be made by people who don't actually play their own game, well not as survivor anyway.
this happens to you enough that bleeding out takes 4 minutes while the other person is looping the killer? I don’t think so.
They are going to add bots for when people DC anyways. Not a great idea IMO but it’ll be something.

The way this feature work its pretty bad and dont work properly
Most of the times people get banned when the server goes down with me for example I got 48h ban becouse all the others ''locks'' where by the same cause
Do you realize how many times you had to DC in order to be locked out for 48 hours? It’s in the magnitude of 12+ times in a single 24 hour time span. If your internet is that bad then it’s time to fix it or play a different game.

How are we the power role? Everyone makes these claims that survivors are op.. survivors have the power role.. but not a single killer can back up their words.
It is up to survivors to make mistakes in order for the killer to win. If survivors don’t make a single mistake and only go down when it was impossible to not loop anymore while all other survivors are on gens, it is not possible for the killer to win. That’s just how the game is setup.
Its also why DBD tournaments are not about 4Ks or escaping. Because survivor teams can always escape. It’s about a point system of doing stuff.
These games are for survivors to lose not the killer to win.

You can say that all you want. It doesn’t change the definition of that word, which is “make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource).”
Denying reality will never change reality.
