Let’s start with progression. The bloodmarket is so good, you can buy what you want without having to efficiently spend to get perks and you have a better reason to get purple and red items/addons allowing you to use those more often.
Perks are even better, you play the character to level them up giving you experience with those perks and the need to kind of start from the bottom adding another level of progression and satisfaction.
Balance, all the controls are new but using them to their full potential is actually a skill like in every other game, like using the run long to be able to turn and hit as killer. And the best thing in any thing of DbD. You don’t have to hold the button to repair the gen, that is so welcome.
Not to mention the implementation of bots. Honestly the bots play better than most players I face. You can abuse the killer AI in some places, but you can’t 360 that guy like a breeze. Speaking of whic
Challenges, every day you get new Challenges with various rewards and a long weekly challenges with huge rewards and you are actually awarded shards and most importantly auric cells, so this is the first time you can get licensed characters by grinding. and I think the amount of time to get those cells is like 2 times the time of PC grinding for shards for 2 original characters. And with the rate of shard game, grinding for cosmetics especially the good ones is actually fesable while being able to... have a life.
Anyway, this is just me saying go drop any DbD you got on console/PC and play Mobile it is so much better.
The market and players and leveling is better. The execution of the game play is horrible and this game will die unless they enable full BT controller support.
i don’t think you’ve played much if you think mobile is overall better.

i just want to let everyone have debate here. One for the people needs a nerf why? Ok let me explain knowing the fact For The People isn’t the best perk why? Cause of the broken status effect. But knowing the fact that you could constantly use it. If you are at full health. But my idea is why not make it you can only use it once. Say for example you see a dying or injured survivor after you used the For the people perk on them. You can only use for the people once per match. What you all think?
No one would ever use it. It has a 90 second broken status. It’s hardly an issue.

Pretty sure gens don’t accelerate the traps. A single gen activated the trap and then it’s on a timer. That’s it.

You can run double BP perks on both killer or survivor. Killer in particular can farm BP hard, 80k+ a game if you perform well. BBQ + Survivor Pudding will let you get up to 96,000 BP a game. Sure, the grind is brutal if you don't have BBQ or WGLF, but WGLF is free, and many new killers level up bubba first specifically for BBQ.
first of all, most killers are not getting 20k base games let alone 32k base games. Second, they are talking about new players who are definitely not getting those scores.
and to get a single person to level 40 is around 1.6 million BP. So even if they do decent and run BBQ that’s 40 games as killer to get a single level 40 perk unlocked. FOURTY games..

We did it guys. We found the one who was hogging all the bad survivors and left the rank 10 killers with rank 1 survivors. Matchmaking solved, we can all go home now.
Most Rank 1 killers 4K lost of their matches. It’s interesting seeing the purple or green killers pretend to be red and lie about how difficult playing red rank killer is. If you managed to get to rank 4 and it now exponentially harder for you, it Means you’re not a red rank killer.m
BHVRs OWN stats say exactly what the OP is saying. red rank killers Destroy survivors on average.

Soo recently due to the presure on the internet lines
alot of people are losing connection in matches
so what if they add a timout system for at least 20 seconds
since internet comes back quickly
instead of kicking the player and giving them dc penalty..
Because the way they wrote the network code doesn’t allow for reconnects. The second it loses a single Packet of data it’s in a corrupt state.

Just watched Kings video on the new maps and I have but one thing to say. They're killing the maps. They're deleting a lot of pallets and replacing it making them look completely empty and unfair, I understand it's PTB but holy ######### I would be upset. No killer would ever lose nearly. This is sad fix it please! makes the game easy af for us killers...
Pretty sure they've already said that only changed a single pallet on a single map in a single location.

The combo it's OP (3 one shots). But the iridescent hatchet by itself is not a big deal, you avoid one and have a killer that can be looped endlessly.
The thing is that people don't know how to play against huntress and when one carry iri is GG
The addon change how you have to play, it's more about knowing when to release the hatchet and force you to mind game with it. But it's true that i would prefer another condition like only one hit if throw from X distance.
they've already said it's likely to be 32m, which is crazy long, but whatever. I don't know why they won't just do it already.

Naw, it's happened multiple times against him where I tried to drop a pallet or vault something in tier 3 madness and it doesn't work. I'm pretty sure it's intentional. It's bull$*!t to me. I DC on almost all doctors and gunslinger. Until they balance out those characters it's no fun for any survivor characters. Mindo you I play almost exclusively solo and that changes the balance of the game big time.
Did you just suggest that Deathslinger is OP and needs to be nerfed? Wow.. He's one of the worst killers at the moment, you realize this right? You've lost all credibility.

I already hear survivor mains typing away about how killers are wanting to much. First off, i am a survivor main too. Second off, the nerf would help balance the odds evenly. What if on self-care, it had tokens? Each level of self-care has an extra token, with the final level having 3 tokens. You consume a token every time you heal yourself. Sounds simple to me. Besides, 3 chances to heal yourself can be plenty in some cases.
you are the only killer to ever complain about self-care. Self-care might as well be a killer perk with how bad it is. This is a joke right?

What's the point off prestige if no one can see anyone's level anymore? Why not just keep leveling and keep our stuff now.
I realize you don't have to. However we all already have. Now it's basically a matter of your time and BP being wasted
The cosmetic. That’s it. P3 cosmetics are pretty neat. Especially if you don’t have anything else to spend your BP on.

Camping in this game (which is a legit strategy, specifically for new players, but more understandable to complain about) is when the Killer gets one hook, and won't leave it, forcing the other 3 to either potentially sacrifice themselves for the greater good of the "camped" teammate or the "camped" teammate stays put hanging in to ensure gens get done for the greater good of the "non-camped" teammates. Keep in mind when All gens are done, and the Killer only has 1 hook, its his/her only strategy.
Tunneling (which is the dumber of the 2 to whine about) to my understanding, is when the killer chases one survivor, to ensure they get downed and hooked. Many factors are at play on this one. Lets say the killer has been getting "God-Looped" "Clicky-Clicked" and "Pallet-Slammed" for 60% of the match (3 gens), Is that really "tunneling"? Sure, the Killer could move on to another Survivor, but whose to say it isn't an "SWF" match with Purples & Reds? After getting 1 hit on the first survivor the Killer is just supposed to move on, and potentially deal with the same issue on the next Survivor? You can really tell when it's a "SWF" as well, because after "Survivor #1" has used up 75% of the pallets on the map, another survivor comes along to body block, trying to waste the Killers hit knowing the Killer has a cooldown after using the hit, buying more time for "Survivor #1" to draw more distance between the chase. Even if its not "SWF" the killer has the thought in the back of his/her head saying if I go for "Survivor #2, 3, or 4" then whose to say that particular player isnt just as good, and "Survivor #1" gets the heal, now I'm back to square one, with 1-2 gens left, or worse all done. Another scenario is when the Killer finally does get "Survivor #1" and the hook gets Sabotaged right before the Killer gets the hook, now he has to continue chasing.
It was a rant, I will be the first to say, getting looped, slammed, sabotaged, gen rushed, and blinded is annoying, but I understand it is the Survivors only real way to prolong the game to ensure survival (the goal of survivors). However the Killer has more limitations, to gain bp, & potentially get a nice 2-4K, Chase, Down, and Hook Survivors.
Point being, How can a Survivor complain about "Camping" one match, then the next complain about "Tunneling", they are literally polar opposites. Should all Killers queue up, then just sit afk the whole match, to ensure neither happens? I play both roles, and always give a "GG" or "WP" after match, and very rarely as a Survivor run into a insulting Killer. However If I play Killer, I do the same in post game chat, and very rarely run into a wholesome Survivor, If I have a bad game "You're a trash killer" "EZ" "Can you Imagine __________", If I have a good game "Tunneler" "Camper", or BOTH! How? They are polar opposite strategies, you can only pick one. Sorry for the rant.
Your definition of tunneling is hilariously wrong. And probably why all survivors think they get tunneled.
Tunneled is when the killer ignores all the other possible objectives, including other survivors, to ensure they down one specific person. It’s why it is part of “Tunnel Vision.”
If you are downed after being unhooked you were not tunneled. If you are being protected by other survivors and the killer won’t hit those survivors, or they are doing a gen in the killers face and the killer ignores them to get the down, then you can say you were tunneled. It required the killer having an easier objective in their face and they ignore it. E.g. Tunnel Vision
being chased and downed is not being tunneled. That is literally the objective of the killer.

I'm going to post this probably every day. CHANGE HOW EASY IT IS TO RANK UP IN THIS GAME.
I am still new to this game barely 3 months in and I'm red rank survivor already. I am now getting absolutely stomped in almost every game.
I am not enjoying my self and at this point I'd even take a refund of this game. For the love of Pete do SOMETHING to address this.
They are creating a MMR system and getting rid of ranks. I wish it was sooner rather than later but BHVR is never really fast with anything.
The algorithms for MMR calculations are pretty easy in itself. The hard pet is deciding what is considered a loss or win. MMR will be useless if it used the same pip system under the covers.
It should be simple:
Its a team game. You win as a team or lose as a team. Like every other team game there is.
2 escape - 2 kill = draw
3-4 - escape = survivors win
3-4 dead = killer win
Done. That’s it. no other game tries to take into account all these small details. Imagine if CS:GO tried to determine how many head shots you got to determine if you win. Or League of Legends deciding how many shots you dodged to determine if you win. It’s insane.

https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/388/ET7DDZGPN8HU.jpg
It's not funny, I want to get a true challenge every game..
No idea why you would DC. You can win that game. And if you don’t win, take the opportunity to learn from you mistakes and try to apply it the next game. Most Red Rank survivors are potato’s. And you were legión where most survivors spend all their time healing instead of doing gens.
i suspect you still rank up. You just want all your games to be super easy. At the very least you would have black pipped this game and not lost any progress. And that is the fundamental problem with this game. It’s too easy to black pip.

@EvilJoshy said:
If you did most of the work then you should get blood points and a pip. That's a win for you. People constantly tell killers "You don't need to 4k to win" well you don't need to escape to win either.

@EvilJoshy said:
Uhhhhh how about the other 3 survivors finish the gens and get out? That killer doesn't get any bloodpoints or ranks up.
Face camping is not a problem. Only the weak killers do it and the newbie survivors fall for it. Have you seen a popular streamer face camp someone unless they pissed them off?
I think you're not understanding the issue. There is a game called Identity V that is a mobile rip off of DBD. It's fairly popular. In that game, face camping is the norm. All the people who played that game are now trying this one. They literally think it's what they're supposed to do. BHVR screwed the pooch on this one by not recognizing this would happen.
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
A good solution would have been while you are carrying someone aura's are shown in your terror radius
Helps against sabotage without exposing survivors on the other side of the map
And on the plus side if it was popular enough would stop those survivors rushing in and unhooking you 5 seconds after you got hooked
Would have had neat synergy with agitation too
Why would you want survivors to stop unhooking within 5 seconds of someone being hooked? That's great. You should WANT that.. it means they sat there doing nothing. Then they just made it easy for you to down them both.

It was perfect as it was in the PTB, not overpowered. 11/10? Are you kidding? It's just information! It doesn't even affect survivors' gameplay! Is BBQ an 11/10 perk then?
It allowed you to essentially see everyone on the entire map while you had someone on your shoulders. And you're saying that's not OP? The others are right. It was OP and then instead of making it viable, they just shot it in the head. It's a useless perk now, again.

Yes, of course there is:
- Do gens
- Bring Borrowed Time
- Bring Borrowed Time and DS
- Bring Borrowed Time and Kindred
- Bring Borrowed Time in a Bottle.
- Get the killers attention while someone else saves the hooked person.
Edit: I see I already replied to this post and someone decided to reply again with 'oh so there's no counter' lol..

I've started maining The Pig recently and I've discovered it to be much harder to kill survivors because when they leave the trap doesn't go off and i think that is stupid. Like if you leave you have a big bear trap on your face which doesn't make sense so it should kill you once you leave. And it doesn't really slow down the process of gens, the game just carries on as is. But during the end game sequence it gives more of a struggle and more on there plate to do. It would hold off the last gen and make the survivors plan more and think of there actions. What do you think?
It does kill you, if it's activated. Putting bear traps on after all gens are completed is only for the points. I believe they can also escape via Hatch without it killing them. Survivors cannot leave via the Exit Gate if their trap is activated.
The best way to beat Pig is to just do gens, and when your bear trap activates, go get it off, then go back to doing gens. Waiting to finish gens until someone has their trap off is how Pig wins.

He says sounds are broken, but Tru has discovered something that REALLY helped me. A lot of Headsets, and Sound Cards have software which enables Surround Sound. When Surround Sound is enabled, it messes with the sounds of survivors. i.e. you can't hear them. Make sure to disable all audio enhancements and it very well may fix your problem. It did for me.
I have a wireless headset and it had surround sound enabled by default.

I just think nobody should be forced to stay in a match if they are not having fun. However if you are losing that's not an okay reason to leave. It's just that a lot of the time you can get into games where people are being huge pieces of sh** and you'd just rather leave and search for a new game. If that's too big of a thing to ask for then don't have an absurd amount of time banned. For example maybe 15 mins if you leave but it doesn't get any higher than that.
Can you imagine what would happen if there was no penalty, at all, for DC'ing? You would then start complaining about never being able to finish a game. If you can't make it through an 8 minutes game, perhaps it IS time to go back to another game.,

And I guess that you agree with op that it is rather easy?
So what are your suggestions for making it harder as OP has requested. I guess we could make gennys take 60 seconds, that could make it harder for them.
I envy you guys that 4k at red ranks all the time, and go too ez! You must think survivor is a joke, because imo that is much easier than killer at red ranks.
Well you guys seem to be in the minority that find killer at high ranks , the ez mode. Guess I'll keep trying to get good.
I never said nor suggested that it's easy. I'm suggesting that this game is probably the most balanced it has ever been (IMO of course). It is incredibly stressful to play killer. Here is what I suggest:
- Don't focus on the number of gens that pop. Don't even pay attention to them popping.
- Patrol gens not people.
- Don't let survivors drag you away from a more important target.
- Pick a location perk: BBQ, Thrilling, Discordance
- Pick a gen slow down perk: Pop, Thrilling, Corrupted
- Don't let survivors tilt you. This is so important. I suspect this is what loses the game for many killers.
- Don't worry about flashlights. Survivors with flashlights typically play poorly. Learn to face walls when picking up or checking your surroundings.
- Recognize that there is likely at least one survivor near the person you just hooked. If you have time, quickly check the area, and then head to a gen that you think is being worked on. Works well with BBQ.
- Pressure the unhook. Go back to the hook. If you can, down the person that was just unhooked and leave them. Try to down the person that unhooked them.
- Abandon chases against really good loopers, especially if they are near a great loop. If a survivor just looped me, I got a hit, and they threw a pallet and made good distance, I will abandon the surivor after breaking the pallet. They will either self-care, or make another survivor heal them. Both of these are great for you.
- Don't always kick the gen. If there is a choice between hitting a survivor or kicking a gen, hit the survivor.
Most, if not almost all, of the games I 3-4k in, are done after the first 2-3 gens pop instantly. I have worked on just not caring about those gens. If they pop, they pop. If they don't, then they will soon enough. Teams fall apart after you've started hooking 1 or 2 people. My rule of thumb is that if I can hook 1 or 2 people before the 3rd gen pops, I can 4k them.
If you are serious about getting better at killer, do not use NOED. Personally, what I've done is play killer with NO perks and NO addons. This made me realize I was relying on my perks and addons way too much and wasn't doing what killers need to do: pressure the gens and hooks.
Perks you should not underestimate:
- BBQ
- Nurses
- Sloppy Butcher
- Thrilling
- Corrupted
- STBFL (Demo, Deathslinger)
- Monitor and Abuse (But not on Doctor)
If you are getting destroyed by loopers and pallets, then level up Spirit Fury and Enduring. After breaking two pallets you can eat the 3rd pallet and get an almost guaranteed hit.
I hope this helps in some way.
-
The blood points are slightly too small for it to maintain a great amount of interest. I have to say I enjoyed the game quite a bit more with the 1.5x blood rush than I ever have. It had a good pace to it and felt like I could put in some effort and get the perks and blood webs I wanted. Personally I wish they'd keep it permanently. But I suspect they have stats that shows the 1.5x hurts the addon to balance ratio.

You are a really bad killer if you rely on it. It's about as simple as that. I put on NOED when im playing wasted or something, because that's the only time I go into games expecting to lose.
It's especially bad with Mori's, because you can take a horrible chase, get run for 3-4 gens to get your mori off, and then still get another 2 kills purely off the back of a skilless perk.
There's a reason killers like Otzdarva and Tru3talent think its ######### and a crutch.
"Better do all 5 totems against that Ebony Mori Spirit who killed someone with 4 gens left to go". Lmao, yeah right.
People that are generally bad at killer end up using NOED unless its for some meme build or challenge. But so what? NOED isn't that big of a problem.

Ok then.
Rank 1 survivor here with proof:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/609/O4JG0UMI37R4.png
This mid chapter patch removed arguably the biggest problem in the game besides Freddy.
The last few patches prior have been survivor sided, especially with Hex Ruin, only three months before this patch.
Also many killers still have the bug where their first lunge is shorter, but when we had that doc bug with decisive strike, fixed within a day.
The game is still survivor sided with infinites gone, but this is the first killer buff in a while.
The game is only survivor sided in that a team of really good survivors that want to win, can't lose. But that is rarely the case. Most red rank survivors are horrible at this game or play to goof around.

- Maybe Killers could sabo generators. Besides kicking them. They could shut one down for a certain amount of time or make it so if they interact with a certain one they get injured. Idk just something like that.
Red Rank Killers still win the majority of their games, by a large margin. Hell, even the All Killer category across all ranks, the killer gets 2k or more in the majority of their games. This is probably why BHVR ignores all the complaints by Killer and gen speed.
The game seems pretty balanced right now and will be even better after the infinites are fixed.

I just tried it and the controls will definitely take some getting use to but as survivor I have never been able to lose a Trapper so easy and it seemed like he kept swinging just a little too early. He hooked a couple survivors but everyone escaped. It's not bad so far but I haven't tried killer yet. Hopefully it's not as bad since I don't know if SWF bully teams will be a thing on the mobile version.
It really depends. The controls are a bit rough but that is to be expected. They controls are actually better than I expected them to be. That doesn't make them perfect. I just 4k'ed as the Trapper. The issue though is they were able to finish all the gens quite quickly. I can't imagine how much harder it will be to play killer after all the survivors learn how to play better. The game just came out and survivors can already complete all the gens.
The great thing about the Trapper is that it's not as easy to see his traps when you're trying to run around with the mobile controls. I suspect Trapper will end up being the best killer for a while.

I've tried to main spirit for the past month, and imo, she is hard to master. Because you can't see the survivors or their auras while phasing, you need to rely on audio and small details of, for example, grass whilst predicting where the survivor will go.
Though, recently when I played a normal spirit game, I won a really close match with a swf (1 gen left and it was a 16 minute game) and the survivors kept abusing the endgame chat because, and I quote:
"Stop playing such a skilless character and go play a normal killer, you rank 6 boosted ape cun*"
It seems like on the survivor's perspective, spirit is just a free win once you start playing her, not even try to practice. All her add-ons are "op" and her power is "completely broken and needs a rework". I'll be honest, these survivors could lose against any killer because they were ######### around instead of doing their objective and such, so I don't understand, should I not rely on their mistakes and win? Should I just let them leave?
So, my question is, for you, as a player, do you think that spirit is completely skilless? Please let me know down below.
Cheers!
If you are good with her, you should be winning 80-90% of your games. She's just a harder killer to master, but once you do, the reward is really high. The nurse has the same issue, but her difficulty to master is much higher. Stop listening to what survivors who never play killer think.

No one stated that the update is the "ruin of the game". You obviously cant comprehend criticism of how they did what they did.
You're ignoring copious amounts of post that have said this exact thing.. that this patch will ruin the game. All because God Loops are being changed. Not only that, a stupid rumor that they are changing pallets was started so people freaked out.
While Killers seem to win more than 50% of their games across all ranks, and around 75% of their red rank games, survivors can win every single game if they just did generators. Even if the killer kept hooking over and over, survivors can finish all gens quite quickly. So this is a mix of survivors being too afraid to do gens and killers having a ton of power.
Based on stats, killers are obviously powerful. There's a post of a Rank 12 Killer that was matched against all Red Ranks complaining.. the crazy part is that they 3k'ed them.. and theyre still complaining. I play killer more than survivor and I started to realize how powerful the role is.

I doubt they will do it, but it makes sense considering BBQ. During the Blood Rush I've been using both of these perks + borrowed time to ensure I get the stacks.

Ye killer hitting you from a mile away won't happen after the ptb luckily, dunno what do you mean his chainsaw is broken. I haven't had any consistent dedi server problems with the chainsaw while playing billy/playing against him.
Where in the Patch Notes did you see them talk about fixing the Lag hits?

No he hasn't. because you go right back in the queue to continue playing the game. All the killer did was end a match early. Youd on't stop playing the game until you actually stop playing the game.
You go back into a 5-20 minute queue of waiting. You have a very myopic perspective of how people enjoy this game. If you cannot make it through an entire 5-10 minute game without disconnecting, then you shouldn't be queue'ing up to play to begin with.

So i dont have to deal with this /bad word/
You 3K'ed them and you are complaining? Get out of here, that is incredibly silly. You are the definition of Entitled Killer.

I tested out the PTB yesterday for the first time. Just one match. Well, engine.ini modifications aren't working anymore. To be specific, the lines to disable the forced AA and forced V-sync.
I mean, fair enough IF we had the option to turn it off in the ingame settings. But we don't. In fact, the ingame settings are still as spartantic as it was since day 1.
No real resolution settings, no true fullscreen mode, no shadow options, no AA settings, no advanced sound settings, no vsync options, no colour blind settings, no FOV settings (only to the degree which stays balanced), just NOTHING.
Thank you bhvr. Why I played only one game in PTB? The forced AA made the whole game blurry af (which hurts my eyes) plus it dips down my fps even more which hurts my brain to play on low FPS. GG I guess, 11/10 consumer friendly product.
I will never understand people who think the FOV should be adjustable... It makes no sense.

There is nothing in this game worse than being facecamped. Literally NOTHING! "Just do gens!" Okay you're still forcing one player to depip and lose all fun in the game and thats the problem! There's no counter for it and its ridiculous like seriously make it bannable I just wanna have fun in this game and this is the third time today I've gotten face camped on first hook when there is 3+ gens still remaining :/
There is a counter for it. It's called Borrowed Time and DS. There are numerous videos of people being saved from Face Camping. The only killer that can easily prevent survivors from being saved is Bubba.. And it's not that common to have a game with a bubba that is also face camping off first hook.

So you're telling me that if I'm having internet issues and I disconnect from seven games in the space of an evening (which has happened to me once before, because after the first two or three times it happened I tried several different solutions in between games until I found one that worked)... I could be banned from rejoining the queue for an entire week?
Something is very wrong here.
Yes, something is wrong. Your internet. You cannot try to play an online game and continue to screw over 4 other people because you have poor internet. Disconnecting from 7 games in a span of a few hours is crazy and you shouldn't be playing until your internet is fixed.

Like godamn 3 matches and I am allready facing toxic red rank swf
I thought the rank reset was supossed to mix a bunch and help me get the adept achievements
Not put me against red ranks?
Rank Reset is 100% useless... think about it. Everyone just gets knocked down a tier. You were ALWAYS going to face Red Ranks.. they all would have just been purple. Because the purples are now green, and greens yellow. Rank Reset changes nothing in terms of Match Making or the people you go against.
