Even though most people will go with the Nurse, I feel the Huntress is the worst starting killer. The Nurse is at least forgiving in the sense that she has an auto-charging power and actually benefits from auto-aim, surprisingly. Huntress doesn't have this. As The Huntress you have to know when it's best forfeit or continue a chase. Ending the chase to reload on hatchets not only ends the chase but removes your bloodlust and gives the survivor more distance.

The only reason this argument is a thing is because Ruin was overused. It wasn't even a good perk per say, but every killer ran it. Now that the most used killer perk is being "reworked", people are making a big deal. If Ruin wasn't a popular perk then people simply wouldn't care.

Devs never had sided with with either side ever.
The devs always side with survivors. It might not be directly, but it's easy to tell. Especially when most of the devs are survivor mains.

Every chapter a free perk is added to each side - In addition to the 3 survivor perks and 3 killer perks each side gets with the DLC each chapter I would like an addition of 1 perk to each side each chapter. This would be of course more ideal after all the bad perks currently in the game are reworked.
Additional base kit mechanics for survivor and killer - Whether it becomes a new objective for survivors or other ways to interact with survivors as the killer I feel as though a new mechanic would refresh this game here and there. End Game Collapse was an excellent addition to the game and is exactly the type of thing I'd want more of in this game.
The ability to save loadouts per character - This suggestion speaks for itself. I know enough of you have played this game enough to have multiple perk builds on your favorite characters. Being able to change that with the click of one button would be nothing short of a much needed quality of life change for all players.
Overhaul of existing features - Some features in the game feel like they're in need of a refresh such as black locks. I'd argue that for survivors the addition of chest with loot you can only get in these chest using a key. Once open the killer would also get a bonus for killing anyone who held the item in the chest. I could suggest a lot more but everyone likely has an idea of what this game could use.
Map reworks and other cool stuff - A lot of maps have been getting a lot of reworks lately so this is a given and I'll trust BHVR handles this right. Although admittedly I'd love to see map specific features and mechanics that both sides can interact with. How would everyone feel about doors you push open for example? It could be a map hazard in terms of when pushed open both sides hear a creaking sound as the door slowly (or quickly if sprinting) is opened. It could also be a visual cue for the killer if they notice the door slowly shutting on its own.
Community Servers, Mod Support for community made cosmetics and custom maps - This community has a lot of talented artist and other talents and I could see that being utilized more by BHVR. Community cosmetics and other assets would be great and custom maps could bring a lot of endless content to this game. Community servers would be a must however for community maps in terms of testing.
A proper tutorial which is a sequence of scenarios for each side - In my opinion this would be the most important addition which is a more fleshed out tutorial. Each side should have a 5 part tutorial system cut up into chunks so each player can pick and choose specific mechanics they want to learn about instead of having if all shoved at them at once in such a rushed fashion. Each part of the tutorial should reward you 10 - 20k BP depending on the difficulty to replicate rewards in the main game. However since each side would have 5 parts it would give them a generous starting point so the new player experience isn't so rough and they can get perks. It also lets everyone try stuff at their own pace.
More incentives to purchase the battle pass - I'll be the first to say I don't care for cosmetics so the battle pass does nothing for me. However I'd go as far as to say owning the Battle Pass should give you other bonuses such as a small 10% BP bonus for the entire rift duration. Rainbow 6: Siege for example does something similar with renown (Rainbow 6: Siege currency for free stuff) and it would be a small way to encourage players in this game to cash in.
End of season rewards for ranks - Depending on your rank or pip count at the end of each season you should be awarded Bloodpoints, Battlepass Experience and Account Level Experience to give players an incentive to improve.
Not even sure if the devs are going to read all that. Very well done.

I used to run the perk a lot, I just never found use in it. It would always be charged I'd just never use it.

Why do you think he needs a speed nerf?
And have you ever played Billy?
I just believe that since he has the highest mobility and map pressure (because of his chainsaw dash), he shouldn't have a high speed. I think reducing his speed to match the Huntress would be fine.
Yes, I have played Billy, and I'm not a big fan of him.

Survivor toxic: flashlights; t-bagging; playing P3 Claudette
Killer toxic: anything mori involved; Rancor; NOED; tunneling; camping; playing Leatherface; sitting in a corner by the hook as Pig or GhostFace.
-
I would have to go with either "The Last Breath", Halloween, Ash vs Evil Dead, or Darkness Among Us.
The Last Breath introduced arguably the most famous survivor as well as essentially creating No0b3 and giving us Nurse (even though every survivor main hates her)
Halloween was the first licensed chapter and provided us with the second most popular horror icon (below Jason), and gave us Horror's most popular "final girl" as well as giving all great perks other than "Sole Survivor."
Ash is just my favorite survivor. That's about all. Rip his perks though.
Darkness Among Us while having a bad killer and survivor, gave us great perks and the most aesthetically pleasing and interesting map to date imo. (Just fix the scratch mark problem.)
-
I can see from the survivor's perspective as this being "tunneling", but you did all you could.
-
Such as with the recently introduced "hook-tech", this is merely a problem with the game's collision detection. It will probably be patched-out somewhere down the road, but it's unlikely to be anytime soon.
-
Humans are humans and react in different ways. It's just something that we have to deal with.
-
The thing with this is that the devs want perks that more pertain to the lore and backstory of the survivor. Laurie was always Michael's target and she always knew when he was around. Simply deleting a perk isn't a good idea, but for it to be abused for it's toxicity is annoying.
-
Games don't particularly "fly" for me, but they are incredibly easy.
-
It is actually just a mere problem with the game's collision detection. While it isn't bannable, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets patched out somewhere down the road.
Thank you AaronPlaysTV/Ayrun for such amazingness.
-
This would be a welcome addition no doubt. But if it ever exists then it won't be seen until way down the road.
-
Less cosmetics
Less killer nerfs because of biased survivor opinions
Ranking overhaul
Bug fixes even if it means temporarily shutting-down servers; dedicated servers to be removed or heavily looked at.
For the devs to be fair to the killers and stop siding with survivors.
-
It would be survivor and it doesn't really need any explaining. Killers are always getting nerfed or "reworked" as the devs like to call it. Survivors haven't gotten a true nerf since MoM, unless you want to count dedicated servers which is a huge but accidental nerf.
-
Billy just needs a speed nerf. So I have no idea why people are complaining about him.

That's the point. To bring attention to the issues that Hex: Ruin's 'rework' (nerf nuke) creates. That's why we have these forums - to discuss ideas and provide feeback for the devs to work with. If we all stopped talking about how Freddy was nerfed because of how rank 20s complained about him, do you think the devs would've ever buffed him? No, probably not. Because if the community is not talking about it, then the devs can assume that the community has no interest in it. Even if people are already talking about something, it is better to add another voice to the pile.
Even if the matter is discussed the change will still go through. Ruin wasn't an incredible perk to begin with, and just complaining about it won't do you any good. To get any change you'll have to wait for survivor mains to complain about the game being "too ez". All changes are based off of survivor opinions after all.
By 'attention', I mean the forum creators want attention.
-
Huntress, Ghost Face, Legion, Demogorgon, and I'll occassionaly play Leatherface.
-
The ability for Wraith to sneak around is great for new players to get used to the maps as well as giving them a slight stealth advantage to sneak up on oblivious survivors.
-
I feel that this will be a bit too obvious with people picking Wraith as the best starting killer and Nurse or Huntress as the worst, but I can't make a survivor based one and leave the killers hanging.
-
I can't really make a decision. The Ruin rework was just whatever. Nobody asked for it but it happened. The worst part about the change is the toxic killer mains tbh.

"Adam's are just toxic and boring No0b3 wannabes".
No0b doesn't even play him XD.
Also if 26 cosmetics + default + prestige is enough for Adam then how can you explain EVERY other original survivor?
I never said No0b3 played Adam. But all the toxic tryhards used him. Then he died. If nobody plays a character then there's no point in releasing new cosmetic items for he/she.

Mmmm... we have Legion, a group of humans.
Nobody wants a Pennywise chapter?!?! #########? XDDDDD... Man, you are on another dimension.
If we're gonna do that then Trapper, Huntress, GF, and others shouldn't be in the game.
-
I believe people are still making Ruin forums for attention.
-
Adam's are just toxic and boring No0b3 wannabes. Besides, 26 cosmetic items + basic outfit + prestige outfit + the stuff you get for buying the whole pack is definitely enough.
-
Imagine running Self-Care. Rank 10 survs.
-
If maps become better and have less obstructions and obstacles then Huntress would be the best killer in the game, but as of now I see her as top 4 with GF, Spirit, and Nurse being above her.
-
I really don't want Chucky or Pennywise to be in the game.
-
I'd say Huntress, GF, and Micheal aren't. The rest are though.
-
Attention seeker.
-
I'm a survivor main and I hate the Ruin changes simply because hitting great skill-checks is no longer rewarding. I guess we'll be seeing Lullaby more often though.
-
Prove Thyself is ready from the get-go and the easiest to us. It also provides the most bp.
-
If I'm being completely honest here, Hag needs a buff. Maybe nerf Devour in a way but buff Hag as a whole.
-
Even with the nerf I feel that Balanced Landing is still Nea's best perk.
-
I'd like to see a chapter with a Xenomorph killer and Ellen or Amanda Ripley as a survivor.
-
@Rockatanskyrenzo said:
Let's be honest... do you really see a Marvel villain chapter?
There's a lot of characters more appealing to put in this game than those on this poll (without negative criticism).
To name a few... Harry Warden, Candyman, Jason, The Strangers, Pennywise, Manhunt chapter, Terminator, Silent Hill, The Evil Within, The Purge Chapter. A lot of!
Having a basic human for a killer (Purge) would be extremely boring. And nobody wants a Pennywise chapter smh.

Seems like OP is playing the mobile version, where I suppose David/Huntress might not free. But yeah I'm pretty sure Jake would be free even on mobile...
I think Huntress would be a little difficult on mobile.
-
I'd love to see a shrug emote for normal use. I also wouldn't mind a ######### you emote that you could use on hook for camping killers or farmers.
-
I would have to say Steve and Nancy as they are essentially always available when a friend is in need. Everyone else would be very anxious (like Dwight and Ace) as they don't want to be betrayed.
-
I feel that ivory mori tunneling one specific survivor that was you giving you the hardest time to be toxic.
-
I typically have the most problems with Ace and Steve mains.
No idea why Claudette was voted for. Every P3 Claudette is a garbage player that relies on their team dying so they can get hatch.
-
First of all, Jake and David are free.
Second, Yui's last name is Kimura.
Third, my first purchased survivor was Ash.
-
This perk is the exact opposite of what should be done: time management. To many people rely on this perk and wasting a whole minute to Self-Care in a corner can easily cost you the game.
-
Nah. These people are petty attention seekers.
-
Stalking is broken as it doesn't even add stalk progress on a survivor around 45% of the time. Detection is broken which is annoying on both sides.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
First of all, why leaving David out? If you go by that Logic, you would leave Nea out as well, since she is also a DLC-Character.
@Topic:
Jake for me.
Calm Spirit is highly Situational.
Iron Will, while being one of the best Perks in the game, only really shows its value when used by experienced Survivors.
And Sabotage is something that will most likely harm the team instead of being useful. It sounds really cool to sabotage the Hooks, and I guess, people who are new will waste their time doing that. At least this was the case when I started.
I actually talked about it with other people, but I left out David because he is required to be downloaded. Most people play the game when they get it and check the shop afterwards, not vice-versa. Unless you're one of those people that gets a game, plays 3 minutes of it, and quits leaving the first story achievement or trophy to only be 87.43% completion rate.
-
I really just have a problem precisely landing my blinks.
