It’s survivor sided, but by accident.

The devs have ensured that for casual survivors or new survivors that for most areas of all maps that there is ALWAYS an escape option or pallet.

Unfortunately though experienced survivors know how to milk every single pallet, vault, structure for all they’re worth

That's simply because they know what they're doing. The matches wouldn't be as lackluster if the killer was the same.

I don't believe this is true one bit. The game leans towards survivors heavily. I can assure you this because of:

    • maps that are heavily survivor sided (which is most of them)

    • insta heals and keys

    • anti tunnel and camp perks

Any good survivor team will destroy a wraith everytime.

Every map is killer sided except Laurie's map.

Maps are literally just a tracking tool.

Keys act as a second chance to get the hatch if it was being camped or if you want a multi-escape.

Insta-heals and anti-tunnel/camp perks need to stay. Camping and tunneling just proves you're a terrible killer and can't get kills.

Wraith is kinda just ######### by default. D-tier.

  • I think a good way to combat this would be a new survivor perk. I'm thinking something like "Rowdy". It's literally the exact opposite of Iron Grasp.

  • Literally any licensed character that isn't Alien.

  • The game isn't survivor sided at all. It's the matter of the skill level of the survivors vs the skill level of the killer.

  • Personally, I would like to see the rumored Pheonix become the next killer.

    T1000 from Terminator 2

He can take the form of any (or maybe just the most recent?) survivor he touches / hits and can form his arm into a blade when striking. He can return to his normal appearance and break into an extra fast sprint while in this form. Idk, maybe something else to make him stronger.

Brad Fiedel's chase music plays during... chases ofc.

I think the Terminator would be a great green-low purple rank killer. It requires survivors to always know what their teammates look like. It would be a good "keep you on your toes" killer.

Lets balance the game first:) But for me I would like it to be jason:) Also maybe a alien like humanoid thing? But I will really like jason to get added cause I never got to play Friday the 13 game:(

With all the lawsuits and court stuff, I doubt Jason will be added to DBD

  • The Demogorgon was never going to be a high tier killer as soon as it's playstyle was revealed in the ptb. It's more of a green-purple rank killer.

  • As it stands now, NOED is entirely unbalanced in the Killer's favor. They get a movement speed boost and permanent Insta-down attacks if the totem is never found. NOED has recently been popping up in every survivor match I play, along with an ebony mori. This combination makes it impossible for survivors to escape if they find themselves in a chase unless they're one sneaky Nea or Claudette, or if they happen across the hatch. The perk is even appearing in high rank games I'm in such as a Freddy I went against yesterday with top tier NOED and an Ivory Mori. He was rank 7. Games like this show that certain perks are completely unbalanced and that killers don't want to have a fun time playing and learn how to mindgame survivors. Instead they want the game to be on a sort of easy mode. I personally see this as a pathetic attempt at a win.

As it stands right now, NOED doesn't need a buff or nerf; it needs a complete rework.

I think they should buff "Small Game" with a totem counter OR Rework "NOED" like "When the gates are powered, all dull totems get lighted and the gates can be opened, when all totems are cleansed.".

I think that would be a very bad feature to implement as there are already a lot of totem placements that are nearly impossible to spot without Small Game. Requiring all totems to be cleansed to open the exit gates would be an unfair killer advantage that the devs would take one look at and instantly deny. They have c-c-cosmetics to release.

The decrease to the size of Survivor hitboxes.

The survivor hitboxes need to be small to make hits register in a more fair manner as most "hits" don't even connect the killer's weapon and the survivor.

  • A lot of these reworks are great. The only ones that I would see as unbalanced or unfair would be Coulraphobia, Knock Out, and Third Seal.

Coulraphobia would make healing nearly impossible without an insta-heal.

Knock Out would make insta-healing during a chase literally pointless.

Third Seal would be practically broken if it caused the exhasuted status effect as Dead-Hard, Sprint Burst, and Lithe would be unusable until the hex is destroyed which sometimes never happens. The only usable exhaustion perks would be Balanced Landing for the reduced stun and Adrenaline as it completely ignores exhaustion.

  • Since the edit system is dogshit, I'm writing a new message.

I personally find this as a great perk beginning perk for new survivors or a good filler after a prestige. The counter is also a very smart idea as if the killer has NOED, the survivors will have no idea how many totems need cleansed because they only get a cue when a hex is cleansed. In higher ranks though this would be nearly useless. I would see it as a rare, tier 3 for beginners.

I meant to say the counter is a great idea as if the killer has NOED (mainly Trappers), the survivor(s) will know him many totems need cleansed before the perk deactivates. It is especially nice as the survivors only recieve a cue when a hex is cleansed, not dull totems which will help if not playing in an SWF group because survivors won't be communicating saying "I'm cleansing a totem" or anything like that.

This is gonna be very confusing for many people to read

The survivors run away from me when they should just go stand by the hook and wait for me to pass judgement on their pathetic existence.

That is the biggest issue. Unfortunately, instead of running towards me or allowing me to grab them out of a locker, they book it. Maybe they should read the Killer's Rule Book For Survivors. That does exist...right?

I agree this is why they need causal mode and try hard mode. I think both models should have a rank system but if I'm playing killer just trying to chill and have a fun time I want casual gameplay where people won't be trying so hard and getting mad, or teabagging. If I'm practicing my nurse and wanna go try hard then I would play on the try hard mode. The only problem is I dont know if dbd has enough people on at one time to be able to do this.

I think casual and ranked modes would be a very smart idea. The only issue is that most people would play casual leaving ranked lobbies dead.
