It's still better than the last three maps.
-
Could be licensing, could be greed. We'll never know.

Can't lie, I was never big on either, but Stranger Things had MUCH better execution than Silent Hill did IMO. The map looked more aesthetically pleasing, the sound design of Demo was on point, his power was cool, and ofc S t e v e .
The Scoops Ahoy locker clip is engraved in my mind.
-
As the other two said, "it's a rip-off." The only change is the lobby animation, which certainly isn't worth $15.
-
They all look great, but Jack really nailed the hair and...the face. Yes, I will constantly be bringing it up.
-
PC has the advantage of precise movements and inputs because of having a mouse, while console only has the 360 advantage.
-
Prop Hunt in DBD? I'm all over it.
-
Christine The Killer Car. Or Big Daddy from Bioshock.
-
She's really good at closing off certain paths and loops. She's also good at camping, but not much else.
-
If you would've asked this question two years ago, I would've given a different answer.
-
I don't know.
Reveal - Stranger Things
First Impressions - Stranger Things
Map - Silent Hill
Survivor(s) - Stranger Things
Killer - Silent Hill
Perks - Stranger Things
Cosmetics - Stranger Things
Legacy - Silent Hill
Hype - Stranger Things
In-Game Popularity (over time) - Stranger Things
Silent Hill - 3
Stranger Things - 7
-
Aim dressing.
-
The only change should be to give survivors their exhaustion back after being rescued from a cage.

My friend didn't even get rank reset. She was rank 3 and now she's rank 4. She only got set back 1 rank for killer and survivor while she should've gone down to purple ranks.
There is a common visual glitch that shows the player not dropping in rank divisions.
-
I don't care for Cheryl, but it'll be nice to get a killer other than Doctor, Freddy, or Spirit for once. The elementary school also looks great.
-
Just for posting this, the devs will give Legion a five second stun.
-
Some perks are simply far to powerful to not have a cooldown, but perks like Premonition should lose the cooldown.
-
I don't know. Removing the notification could lead to lots of arguments about suspected hacking.
-
I would love a double rank reset for killer.
-
The bug isn't even that common, sometimes it's just difficult to hear them because of the map or game.
-
C, maybe low b-tier killer needs a nerf. Nice.

Freddy is still harder than Killers like Wraith, the only difference is that freddy doesn't have to guess loops after the first run, it's still better to not rely on having to run a loop once till the survivor runs into a trap so yes, there's alot of difference between a good and a bad freddy.
There's a large difference between good and players with any killer, but it doesn't change the fact that anyone can pick up Freddy and 4K on one of their first games as him. I used the splinters after he got reworked and I 4K 5-gen. Splinters leave you without any perks, offerings, or add-ons, meaning I was bare. That's how braindead of a killer he is.
-
Perks started getting bad with Spirit. All three of her perks essentially reward bad play.
Spirit Fury: Isn't bad on it's own, but when combined with Enduring, it becomes a braindead combo.
Haunted Grounds: You could be completely losing a a game, but if someone cleanses your hex totem, then it will just become a slug-fest.
Rancor: Not much needs to be said about this perk. It's NOED that effects 1 person and literally applies an ivory mori to them. A lot of people say that NOED and Rancor reward bad play, and you're right, but what you're forgetting is that it also punishes 1 survivor for doing their objective: surviving.
Perk changes:
Spirit Fury:
If combined with Enduring, Spirit Fury requires 2 extra charges before it is useable.
Haunted Grounds:
Only 1 hex totem spawns
Rancor:
The obsession does not become exposed, but rather is inflicted with several other status effects.

That’s not the actual perk. Actual perk is only broken for 30 seconds.
These are OP's versions of the perks.

Demo is too weak should be the point of this thread, instead it's "freddy is too strong for being one of the only viable killers in this game that doesn't take 100s of hours to play well as"
The post is meant to say that one killer is more powerful than the other when they both have the same abilities.
I would also like to point out that Freddy doesn't take any practice to play well.

The post is comparing Demo-who is a good killer that suffers from time constraints-to Freddy-who essentially has the same primary ability as Demo, but is marginals above him in terms of power.

Silky smooth Jake face...

Mr. Foster vs. Fleshpound. Make it happen, bEhaviour!
De we have a consensus on a map?
The map could be that steamboat from the second game. It would be completely original compared to the current maps DBD has to offer.

just save up your shards to buy non licensed characters instead of stupid skins for your survivors or killers.
If you play regularly then you can earn just enough shards or more to buy both characters on release when it's a non licensed chapter. This is what i have been doing the day they allowed you to do this and I own every non-licensed character just by not spending my shards on dumb skins.
so save your shards for characters you don't own that are related to the next archive instead of whining that you can't do the challenge because you misused your shards.
I spend my shards on perks and characters that I'll play as on a normal basis.

- Yes, this worked for me in the "three stabs in one frenzy" challenge on the previous level.
- Other survivors can help you cleanse them, there just need to be none remaining at the end. Hatch escapes should count - if they don't, that's a bug.
- The latter. You don't need to fully repair the generators, you just need to work on them for at least one second each.
Thank you.

@DelsKibara said:
It says stab Survivors 4 times in a single use of Feral Frenzy, I assume that means you need to apply Deep Wound on a Survivor 4 times, doesn't have to be 4 different survivors.
Teammates can help out, you just need to make sure all 5 totems are cleansed before escaping.
You can just run around the map and repair a generator for 1 second each, that's how I did it.
I don't know how to give a "question answered" badge or whatever, but thank you.
-
0. I don't own every perk, meaning I can't have all T3 perks.

I'm a little confused on the wording here. "In the meantime, it should compare the ranks of other players to the rank 2." By this do you mean find equally skilled survivors?
The other survivors in the swf should be compared to the rank 2 to find a killer suitable for everyone in the group to go against.
-
I feel the ranking of an SWF should start with the highest rank player in the group. If the highest is a rank 2, then the game will start searching for rank 2 killers. In the meantime, it should compare the ranks of the other players to the rank 2. This way, you wouldn't be getting any easy killers for the rank 2, but you wouldn't be getting any difficult killers for the lower ranking players.

Auto-aim is actually called Aim Dressing. It makes a hit that you shouldn't get look more convincing and vice versa. 😅
I believe the developers are planning to keep auto-aim, but change a few things that makes it so frustrating. Peanits mentioned in a different thread that they are planning to iron out some kinks in auto-aim, but that's really it, we're stuck with it. 🙂
I meant to say aim assist, but they all mean generally the same thing. It's just more of a thing to help survivors rather than killers, with it denying several hits that would've otherwise landed.
-
I meant aim assist.
-
Mrs. Foster running around as a survivor.
-
L4D maps would be really neat. Having The Sacrifice be split into 4 different maps like the acts would be fun.
-
This would be a terrible idea.
The best possible Legion buff would be to give the option to disable auto-aim.

Imagine locking a character's lore behind a challenge for another character that you have to invest in. Excellent move BHVR, as if there weren't enough people buying Kate already.
Isn't she the most purchased I guess "item" in the game other than Nea's Harajuku Graffiti outfit?

This whole OP is a lie anyway you don't have to buy Kate in any way to do the Dwight Challenge. There is a Prologue/Starting point and Dwight is the very first Challenge before Kate's
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/XHVHNFC8QQEH/20200528-155337.jpg
If you hover over Kate's icon and the survivor master challenge in the top left, you will see that both of the challenges unlock lore pieces for Dwight.

You dont have to purchase her. You EARN her with shards. Since ya know, you cant buy shards.
"You don't have to purchase her".
Purchase options:
9000 shards
$5
Free options:
None
Currency is currency. Though it can be earned, you are still spending it.

@Tricks said:
Kate isnt a premium survivor. you can buy her with shards
What I'm trying to get across is a free character's lore shouldn't be locked behind a character who must be purchased through some form.

@Yung_Slug said:
The tome has 3 starting points. You can pick Dwight's challenge from the start.
Two of his lore pieces are locked behind challenges involving Kate and Boil Over.

Ok ngl, I forgot you could purchase original characters with the shards, my fault. But you can still do the grind for her. And also, Kate is from the Chapter, "Curtain Call." "Lullaby For The Dark," has The Huntress and David King. From my knowledge as a console player, I was able to obtain them for free on the playstation store.
I mean that Lullaby For The Dark is completely free, whereas the rest of the dlc isn't.

you made a choice to not progress, yet you come here crying about there being a pay wall, when there is none other than the one you created in your mind. your choice, now you have a choice of what you do with your choice you already made. please continue trying to rationalize it when you are the one that needs the reassurance you are right, as others here have said much the same as I. keep replying I will keep stating the obvious.
I clearly made the choice not to progress as shown by the image displaying my 13,100 shards that I shouldn't have to spend on a character to unlock something for a different, free character.

@LegionMain343 said:
Progression wall. Kate is not a license, and you can't purchase Iridescent Shards
If the character is part of a dlc that is not free (i.e. Lullaby For The Dark), it's a paywall.
