Like I said. She's still good. I personally just don't like playing her. And honestly I haven't seen one good nurse since the changes came online. I'm not denying there are good nurses... I just haven't seen any of them.
I have this friendt that mains nurse, and it took him about 5 kill your friends to get the timings again

By that logic all the noobs quit playing her and her kill rate should be going up not going down. Also omega is still in the game if you use the addons for it.
The good nurses still 4k, the killrate is low because people havent grasped the new timings

@PalletOrWhat said:

I won't deny that. I played nurse with range addons for a long time (not omega, but still). Then I switched to base nurse (no addons) and she was terrible at first against decent survivors. Then I got used to her. After a while I realised that she was a monster even without addons. Now she is just unfun af.
They wanted to change her just "slightly". This minor changes took everything from her lol. She is still good tho, but boring to play imo. That second cooldown (Fatique is a cooldown I think) is just too much.
She is still the best in the right hands

@Soultiller said:
According to @Almo her kill rate for all platforms all maps is now 43.9% which is a 3 to 4% drop for all platforms. Id be interested in seeing her kill rate on PC and in Red ranks has that also dropped or stayed the same. It would also be interested in her pick rate now vs pre addon/basekit rework.
So its time for people to learn her again instead of complaining on the forums

This is getting out of hand
6 matches in a row where survivors do everything they can to stop killers from completing my basement challenge
Hell I even had a survivor refusing to open the exit gates after I closed the hatch since "you killers don't deserve anything" and hide himself in a corner of the map
Then I have survivors dcing as soon as they realize what is happening
This challenge was the worst idea ever and I hope it never gets put into another rift
Damn survivors, wont just hook themselves for me

I wouldn’t say Ghostface and Myers aren’t viable. They’re able to do well in your basic average match.
Against a really good group only a few killers are going to do well.
Ghosty is able to do it. Dont forget Ayrun's 20k hours swf that lost to one on 96 wins
-
@johnmwarner said:
I'm kind of glad that Ghostface and Wraith are having a surge in play lately, the jump scare/suspense part of the game has always been the part I find most fun. Seeing Leatherface run over to me with a chainsaw and figuring out what loop to run to is interesting in an analytical way, but seeing a face peek around the corner and having to decide right at that moment where to go, that is fun for me.
Likewise on Killer, hitting someone out of stealth on Wraith or crouch on Pig is so fun even if I lose I enjoy the game.
I hate playing against them, I prefer more active killers billy and nurse
-
So this thread is to name perks that I feel need a buff/rework. If you guys have any ideas or feel like I forgot any perks, please post them on the comments. I would really appreciate some developer feedback on this thread.
Survivor Perks:
-Aftercare: this perk would be awesome for those Solo queuers like me, but it has a big downside: you lose all stacks if you are hooked. This to me is terrible because this perk already has to be stacked, and in matches you are the distraction this perk serves no purpose. If it stayed active when you were hooked, it would be a great pick for solo queuers and would not necessarily overshadow bond or empathy, since those perks dont need to be stacked.
-Solidarity: This perk is a cool concept, but not working when healing with a medkit is a big downside to me, since medkits are common items and have faster heal times, what would greatly improve this perk's use cases. Also, if the perk required just one heal but a 20 second one, it would be incredible.
-Sole Survivor: So this perk relies on your teamates dying, which by itself is a condition you never want to be in. In my opinion, this perk should have its current full effect when the first person dies, then hide your scratch marks when the seconds one dies and when you are alone in game you should be completely invisible to the killer when further than 24 meters (this number could be tweaked). With these buffs, I think Sole Survivor would be a great perk to use if you are solo queueing or just aren't confident in your teammates.
Killer Perks:
- Hex:The Third Seal: This is a perk that is very bad because it can be cleansed in a few seconds and blindness is not a scary perk. So my idea for this perk is to make in a regular perk that applies a timed blindness effect with every hit (maybe 60, 80 or 120 seconds.)

How about some good killer perks that are as powerful as DS and BT?
Oh you mean Ruin, Pop, BBQ?

@poyant said:
Btw those are abbreviations for perks. Yes, they have came out with some fun perks recently for new survivors but not many extremely useful perks IMO like the ones I listed above. I see they have gotten creative but man I’m looking for the next big perk that you may see people use every game. Think of adrenaline, borrowed time, spine chill, sprint burst, iron will, self care, unbreakable, lithe, urban evasion, well make it, etc. Any neat ideas? I’ve had a few. I would like to see a perk where as a survivor you are able to stun the killer similar to DS but while killer is carrying another survivor. That would probably be too OP or too difficult to obtain the perk to use it. Just an idea. I could list more but I’ll add them to discussion once I get some replies. Let me know what you guys think?
I have been working on a mega thread about buffs to bad perks killer/survivor. I already finished 9 buffs and will post it soon

With all of this talk about Killers or Survivor perks being frustrating it becomes important to get a control to compare against.
What happens a game makes you go "oh I lost but I had fun doing it"?
Before you answer just remember that I'm looking from the PoV of the other side. Please don't answer "oh when I lose because I was doing a gimmick build or was BMing in the process or whatever". I'm interested in times where you are trying to win, but fail at doing so, yet have fun anyways or were at least satisfied with your failure.
Please also answer the following alongside this:
- What exactly are you using to determine a win vs a loss?
- Were you a Killer or a Survivor?
- Do you care about rank? If so do you usually rank up when this happens?
- How frequently does this (whatever your satisfying loss is) happen to you?
- SWF or Solo primarily?
A 360 to me is that. No cheesy bugs, infinites, simply outplayed me

No survivors want that and quite frankly even me being a killer main don't want that just holding repair in a single identifiable spot isn't interesting I want survivors to have to make more decisions and more interesting plays, have an actual element of skill involved even if only slightly
It is a time balance, not a skill balance. Honestly, if you dont want skill checks to hook, dont ask for more decisions on gens
-
I think the animation/body changes to be unnecessary, but the rest is reasonable

@DwightOP said:
Dead hard exhausted -> still getting hit without the perk actually activating/applying the effect.
Everyone knows it, everyone experienced it, everyone hates it.
The fix: we have dedicated servers. If dead hard was pressed before the hit connected (from the survivors POV) then it should have higher priority than the hit. Same concept is in dark souls pvp. If you dodged a hit on YOUR screen, you won't get any damage, even tho the hit connected from the screen of the attacker. This concept is working really really good in dark souls and same concept should be applied for dead hard. Otherwise this perk can only be used very early to close distance (which is still good, but just half of the perks potential).
Absolutely agree, this hits and hitboxes are out of hand in the dedicated servers

Due to new Rank reset I keep getting survivors that are incredibly good, and I know i'm gonna get the "lul git gut" people, but I don't feel like I have any chance to actually catch any of them unless I'm Spirit or Nurse or maybe Billy or Oni. Walking backwards or faking pallet breaks don't work anymore as I think they've all learned how to counter them.
I'm feeling very defeated over this past week, but I have noticed that I rarely ever lose as survivor (with the only loses being due to throwing teammates) so I think I'm just gonna stay with survivor to keep my mood and anger in check lol.
Anyone else feeling like this? And if you're gonna comment anything aggressive please don't bother :)
(1050hrs in btw)
(P.S. when can we get a practice map so I can learn how to use Oni without losing 5 times in a row lol)
Wait, I dont get the issue with the rank reset. Playing low tier killers sure does feel underwhelming, but that shouldn't be this bad

@MarsAttacks said:
Okay anyone with half a brain k ows gen repair speeds are ridiculous. I've been thinking about how to handle this in a way that helps satisfies asany people as both sides as possible.
So I think if survivors are injured all actions except MAYBE healing(probably not healing) still haven't decided on this yet have new effect applied called overzealous.
What the status does is SIGNIFCANTLY increase the amount of skill checks and and tremendoualy reduces the size of skill check zones while repairing, make the ability to receive skill checks during cleansing and searching chests happen. This essentially does a number of things. It makes other perks more viable for example sloppy and thanata and other slow down perks become even stronger. Survivors can still ignore the injured state and potentially get very good at skills checks. To play off of current perks. Other killers such as plague become A LITTLE more viable because now if survivors don't cleanse they can potentially miss A LOT of skill checks.
The "great" success zone can either be slightly reduced or not reduced at all but the regular skill check zone is BARELY barely available after great skill check zone.
And if it doesn't affect the healing action the other healing reduction perks to get a direct buff via the effect, but they do get a buff in the fact the survivors are Significantly more incentivised to heal. So you get more use.
I don't think this is a perfect option and could be modified but I think to a degree this could help A LOT with the gen time to complete issue at higher level player.
Let me know thoughs
I dont think this is even necessary, just make gens 100 charges and things will be fine.

How am I supposed to complete 4 gens in one match?
The only thing I could possibly think of is getting 3 other people in a party and telling them to just ignore gens and keep the killer away from me. But, even then, I'd just have to hope that the killer stays occupied with them instead of wandering off to get me.
Even if it's like the last one, where I only have to be on the gens when they get finished, RARELY do I have friends who'd just 99 each gen for me. And it's not like randoms are going to do it. I can't blame them either.
Has anyone even completed this yet? I already finished all the killer challenges.
As for Fight Back, isn't this one all just complete luck?
Most killers I face don't run enduring builds like I do, so they pretty much all respect every pallet. It's looking like my only chance here is to find a killer who offers to farm or something and hope for the best.
You can learn a trick to force stuns on bad killers. Popular youtubers do it all the time, and it is quite effective. When looping, pretend like you will try another loop and turn 180 degrees and throw the pallet
-
@AvisDeene said:
I don’t get it. Not everyone has the skill to loop, so why is it bad that a survivor tries their best to stay out of the killers LOS? I mean, as long as they’re doing objectives like working on generators or cleansing totems? Heck, I spend plenty of matches having to traverse the maps to unhook people because people keep getting caught and no one else is trying to save them.
Don’t get me started on the impatient survivors who wiggle their arms at me trying to make me hurry. I’m sorry, I don’t have BT, so I don’t want to unhook you and let the killer farm. Especially when I could still see him or Spinechill is still lit up! You even have survivors who demand I heal them at the hook that I just unhooked them from. Seriously, would it kill you to sneak away to a safer location for me to heal you. Do you live chases so much that you want to leave scratch marks that lead to me healing you? Even when it’s obvious that the killer will come back (Spirit, Hillbilly, Invisible Chicken Legs) they still insist I stay exposed for their sake.
Even the devs seem to not promote it since I could play perfectly and accomplish more goals than anyone else in the match and yet have less blood points because I didn’t get in a chase or hit the killer with every pallet on the map! (After playing killer for a bit, I kinda feel bad to use pallets or blind, I know I shouldn’t, but I do).
More equality for the Bush People please! We deserve respect! We also deserve all the butt rubs you can give!
Thank you for taking the time to read this rant, have a blessed day!
P.S. Devs, I would also like a bush costume like Fortnite provides. It will complete my ascension to full Bushette status.
You are confusing the names. An immersive player is a player that is too scared to or won't do things in a match. He will crouch in the corner and Self Care.
A Stealthy player on the other hand simply prefers to not be seen, and most people respect those players that chose to not be confrontational

When survivors use keys to escape and they find them in a chest, its an oh welp it happened moment. When you see someone with a key you can dodge the lobby, or tunnel them down. When you chase someone and they instantly jump through the hatch Its kinda #########. I think if we had a timed animation similar to doors on hatches that this would fix a lot of frustration.
Considering people in coms running plunders find a key and escape the whole team, granted I've done the same as survivor and you are winning the game. Is it fair?
EX. I have run plunders found two keys got myself out, and comed my team to get the other save and get out. can you imagine being that killer that gets two keyed expecting no keys going into the match?
Using an animation would add tension and fairness to the whole concept of using a key and would make me dodge less as killer, also allowing the user to utilize all the cool addons they have.
Gimme your thoughts guys.
Keys are certainly not balanced, but we ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT have them removed without moris removed first

So BHVR removes the ability for solo survivors to see the ranks of who they are playing with to prevent lobby dodging.
So so let’s make it fair. Killers can no longer see survivors while in lobby. Why? Because lots of killers out there will lobby dodge if they see the same group of toxic survivors.
Or they might lobby dodge if they see the following:
4 toolboxes
4 blendettes with flashlights
1 key, a map and tool boxes together
multiple survivors with the same clan tag
this lobby dodging increases the wait time for everyone and should be remedied ASAP!
But seriously, just let us see the ranks again, or prevent killers from seeing the fact that me and my friends brought 3 keys. They may use that as an excuse to lobby dodge.
plz BHVR lemme see the ranks again.
I think people should be able to see ranks, items, offerings and everything. It is literally so dumb to force people to play with no teamates, force people to play against ebony and force a killer that is not confident or just trying to enjoy the game to play against Hex:GG eazy and his SWF.
-
@MarsAttacks said:
It's not like swf complete negates a Large portion of killers perks it makes already strong survivor perks even strongee. Let's completely ignore the skill aspect for a second.
Swf negates dark devotion, knock out, pwtf( not as bad cause you still get the bonus but now they know if you're stacking speed), mad grit, hex the third seal, rancor,
On top of that it significantly buffs already STRONG Killer perks, ooo can now relay information to all other survivors, they can tell each other whether they have borrowed time, tell team mates when they are running deliverance or any self saving perks like unbreakable, inform when their spine chill is going off yeah you can infer that if they start moving they have it but at least then you need to at least pay attention to your team mates, they can inform each other where to run if they are saboing, not a huge benefit but it is a benefit cause you'll never exactly what all hooks are 99ed.
I bring this up because I keep seeing posts from devs talking about bringing solo quers up to swf level but I NEVER see anything addressing about bring killers up to be able to contend with it. This doesn't even take into account how much easier coordinating intricate plans becomes and thr ability to know exactly when it's safe or not safe to repair gens, who's being chased, for how long. What pallets are left, or any other number of essentially balance ruining aspects come with SWF
So I was planning to completely ignore this post but how does SWF destroy Rancor? Player 1 tells he is exposed and moriable to Player 2 and boom the perk automatically disables

It has been SO NICE to be able to play consistent red-rank killer games, and not have everyone DC the second I either:
Slug 2 people
Tunnel a particular annoying person
Mori anybody
Hook anybody
Damage anybody
Use NOED in any form
Stay near hooked survivors in anyway
I can actually stay at rank 1 and not constantly de-pip every few games because people get salty over something I've done. It is so ######### nice and I'd really hate to see it revert back to what it was before. DCing should never be a normal part of the game, and up until now that is all it was. Anything remotely "unfair" in a survivors mind, and they would instantly DC. I am fully aware that people can kill themselves on hook, and that BOTHERS ME NOT ONE BIT. Do you know why? Because I can, at the very least, safety pip because I still got the points for the game.
The complaints I see constantly about how "the game is bugged half the time" or "the killer holds the game hostage" just seems like people grasping at straws, desperately not wanting to be punished for DCing. I always find it a bit odd that there is almost never any video proof of anything like that happening, it is all just word of mouth. You'd think if these "widespread" gamebreaking bugs plagued a huge amount of people constantly, you'd see a ######### ton of video of it, but you never do. That is because it is not wide spread in any sense, and it is just another excuse people are trying to push forward in order to hold on to their right to DC.
End of my tangent, but I don't think I can go back to playing without these penalties. It's an entirely different game where people can't exit the lobby menu to ######### over someone because they got mad. I'm all for fixing bugs and making sure people don't get penalties for game issues, but this is definitely something that should stay.
Idk what you are trying to prove here, but people will just kill themselves on the hook, and if you play like the jerk you wrote people will just dc and play other games, so the dc penalties dont really help you in any way

Why would they still be slugged if the timer doesn't deplete and the killer goes after someone else?
Because lets suppose you are on the end game, and they unhook a survivor. You will hit the survivor and they will try to crawl to an exit gate, which in the current game state with ds basically ends with a garanteed survivor escape. So you can try to wait the 60 seconds, but if it is imfinite you just lose

DS only needs to last 20 seconds, not deplete when you are down, and maybe even not work at all if you just unhooked someone with your DS still in effect. Simple. If 20 seconds has gone by and you aren't being chased, you are not being tunneled.
This change is bad in my opinion because sligged survivors will be able to crawl the entire map once the gates are open, and the killers will still be able to wait 20 seconds following the unhooked and just down him with zero punishment

Because survivors aren't supposed to have that kind of information without certain perks.
As a solo, survivors will waste time going for the unhooks at the same time or finding the killer chilling by the hooked person.
SWF completely negates this aspect of the game without sacrificing a perk slot for kindred.
You seemed annoyed by camping (which is technically the killer throwing the game), thus I don't expect you to understand how broken SWF is compared to solos.
You are the absolute worst type of killers

Holy crap the amount of entitlement and bs in this post is mind boggling.
Just of the top of my head some things that make SWF completely broken compared to solos.
1 person find ruin (while being chased). The entire teams now knows where it is.
2. If you are being chased, the other 3 can safely work on gens without any risk of you bringing the killers towards them, like solos.
3. Feeding information about which pallet has/hasn't been used, so no one will run to a unsafe area.
4. Is the killer camping? "Yes, gen rush boys, he's here".
The amount of information shared is what breaks SWF.
Don't need to use a perk slot for things like kindred or bond, just run the standard BT,DS,DH,Adre 1 year old build over and over again.
It's ok to prefer one side over the other, bit completely disregarding how broken it is, is just playing dumb.
The amount of entitlement of listing "knowing when the killer is camping" as why swf break the game HOLY #########

The point is that a perfect killer against perfect survivors will always lose, and how would the Spirit prevent 3 generators from being completed? It does not matter which killer you are, you can only chase one person at a time, the rest are bound to hug generators.
Discordance as I said, would have been inconsequential as you would only be able to chase one person, you chase one, the other goes back to the generator, so on and so forth, it would have delayed the outcome at best, there is no possible play the Spirit could have done to prevent at least 3 people from escaping, the survivors would have to just hand over the win in a silver platter for that to happen.
Both of your mentions, ScottJund and Tru3howevertherestofthenameiswritten, will tell you the same thing, that they mostly go against potato survivors, which is why they 4K or 3K the great majority of their games, and that a perfect killer against perfect survivors will lose every single time.
As to the Ghostface against BNPs/Keys SWF, really the only way they lose with that is by making a lot of mistakes, which probably means their choices were not the greatest during that match, I am considering an optimal scenario in which both the killer and the survivors play at their best.
If the killer makes zero mistakes, and the survivors make zero mistakes (which is impossible) the killer shouldn't get a single kill because there are 4 players versus 1, and none of these 4 players making any mistake means they should escape

The syringe is still practically an insta heal if used properly. Running from the killer for 16 seconds isn’t that difficult at all especially if you activate it immediately after throwing a pallet.
If you stop to use the syringe and the killer avoids the stun you are dead

Not for me. Styptic lets you take an extra hit during chase, go for a save while injured and make killer hit you instead of going for a grab and avoid insta-downs. Syringe just heals you over 16 seconds by default if there is no change in your health state
I think both are bad because in that situation you are just commiting delayed suicide
