I agree since most other games have it as well. The problem is that the killer doesn't have the tools to stop it.
Yeah they do.

There's no way of making that perk useful because you being a one shot down, makes the killer's job easier. Not only that but you are pretty much going to be the reason your team lose because of the fact that all the killer has to do is hit you once. This just leads your chase to never last long especially if the killer is stealth and gets a surpise hit on you.
So you are most likely going to die early into the game or not give your team mate enough time to do gens while you loop the killer around.
They can make the perk pretty good while still making you one shot
-
@Hex_Stalk said:
Like seriously it's the only perk that screws you over Way more than it helps. Like give us a reason to use it aside from wanting our matches to be harder or wanting to use deadhard right away.
Pros: Combos with perks that give you a boost when injured (Although not very many at all) 50% reduction to moan noises, no blood trail, Able to fully recover from dying (When the hell does this happen?).
Cons: One hit, 50% reduction to moan noises, Your chances of being slugged and picking yourself up drop to near zero, waste perk slots on combos that can be done without needing no mither, Pretty good chances of being tunneled, no bonus for escaping, free blood orbs for Oni, etc.
Like come on, at least give me a damn medal for actually escaping with no mither. Maybe a bloodpoint bonus for escaping. Give us something that can really make No Mither worth running.
As of now I see no point in using it aside from memes, a challenge, or David's adept achievement.
Honestly Unbreakable should be unlimited and No mither should offer you a ton of benefits like exhaustion recover while you run or movement speed

I also play Plague but with killers it's a little easier to narrow down why you play them due to differing play styles.
I main Kate and Clown. I just really like that DLC

A flashlight save can be quite easy to get, as long as you remember some things
It has to be unexpected, and the blind must happen after the animation ends else you miss the save.
You can run Bond, Sprint Burst and addons to decrease time it takes to blind, and it is advisable you do this with a friend since he can crawl to the open. Use Iron Will so moans dont reveal your position to the killer

SWF can be compared to a nurse, as a bad nurse can be destroyed by good survivors, just as a bad SWF can get destroyed by good killers.
A good Nurse can destroy good solo survivors and average SWF teams, just as a Good SWF can destroy good killers.
When both a good Nurse and a good SWF meet together, it's a fair and balanced game, where two kills and two escape can happen.
Both old basekit nurse (pre-reworked) and SWF both break a fundamental of the game.
Nurse can wrap through objects ignoring survivors pallet defenses, but a survivor can counter that using LOS blockers and that they can still use windows.
SWF uses comms, which aren't intended for survivors to have breaking a fundamental. SWF also basically get a ton of info that a solo survivor cannot get without having perks such as kindred, etc.
Yes, the old add ons on Nurse were broken and needed to be nerfed, but old basekit Nurse (pre-reworked) was balanced and was counterable.
Therefore, SWF=old Nurse (Pre-reworked)
Currently SWF> Reworked Nurse
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/921476#Comment_921476
And that's the problem you fail to realize, Solos need perks to gain the same information a SWF gets, that's not equal.
SWF gets free information through comms, while a Solo has to either learn information throughout the match without any of the perks you metioned, or they need to run those perks in order to get the same info as SWF.
Also I'm saying the same things because that's literally the evidence, and you have yet to disprove what I have said.
Good nurses still destroy swf after the nerfs, so that is what disproves your point of view
-
@DaGreenBolt said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/920725#Comment_920725
SWF are more than an organize team, they can know where the killer is, what he's doing, whose he chasing, what gens he's protecting, etc.
The same can be said about a good SWF destroying good Nurse.
SWF=Old Basekit Nurse
That is not true. Swf can tell where the killer is, but good solos also have that ability by using the perk bond, empathy, alert, spine chill, aftercare, listening to the tr, checking if the obsession is getting chased, seeing if someone got suddendly injured, etc. And you keep repeating the same thing so I can only assume you ran out of things to say, Nurse still equals swf

big oof for me.
I think the ranking system should be looked at in general; I find too many bad players from both sides at red ranks.
You literally had no hook points, no chase points, and probably didnt even get 15k+.
Yeah you should depip

Ehh gens can get rushed pretty fast these days depending on the first chase but the hatch spawns consistently in some places depending on the map and not getting mori'd is entirely dependant on the map how good you and your team are at looping and if your team is focused on doing gens
This is such an idiot example it makes it pointless for me to argue with you

But SWF isn't too strong?
No its not a stupid example when SWF breaks the fundamentals of the game. Just as Keys, the old base nurse, and moris.
Also anyone knows that old base kit Nurse=SWF, as they both break a fundamental of the game.
A strong, optimal SWF can destroy any killer except the old base kit Nurse.
Swf is just an organized team, and good nurses still rejt them

Fire up a game with Nurse, I hated her at first, but I am starting to get decent with her. Just hit rank 10 killer and did well against a team of purples. Fire up a match, find a survivor and down them, throw him on the hook and I look around to see three of his buddies, so clearly SWF. I get a couple of hits, they unhook and have borrowed time. I down one near a pallet, I look around, see no one, pick him up....pallet stun... I chase him down, drop him again, look around, no one, picked up, instantly blinded by a flashlight. Then I get head on'd out of a locker.
I finally down another one, camp him a bit, but borrowed time. I down another one, look at a wall when I pick him up, but in a move that makes no logical sense, I get blinded yet again, even though I can't even SEE the survivor that did it. I see a guy go into a locker, try to bait out of head on, but nope, get stunned. Blinded a few more times, all gens done, they're FOLLOWING ME, trying to get me to down one so they can flashlight save. I open the door myself to start the timer and sit back, not going to play their game any more.
Two rank 4's, two rank 5's.
Next game, I facecamped the living crap out of the survivors, because I was pissed off. Do I care about depip? Hell no, it's rank reset.
This post is kinda useless since we know why killers camp: they are bad

You obviously don't play killer against SWF then. If you do and think that then you must deal with either a bunch of potatoes, are slugging, or camping. Getting better at the game means using everything available to you. Maybe you need to re-evaluate why you like to play handicapped in a game that has balance issues.
We all play against swf, just because you dont get kills doesnt mean everyone is wrong

This example is stupid. Moris are overpowered, base nurse was too strong, and both should be changed

How are keys much weaker? Keys have no counterplay since if you bring Franklin's it can be picked back up not to mention plunderers counters it too also the hatch spawns regardless if the survivors win or lose so if they brought a key in or even worse found it in a chest it's a guaranteed escape even if you previously closed the hatch
Keys are weaker because they depend on gens done for the hatch to spawn, the user knowing where the hatch is and he not getting moried within 2 minutes of a match
-
Yes, all it takes is a terrible killer and good survivor or vice versa. OP meant when people with equal skill get matched and there is an ebony, the survivors have zero chance.
-
@TheEntitiesNeophyte said:
In my opinion I think survivors are way to OP because of Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, etc.
Killers don't have any game braking perks and before you say anything you can destroy Hex Totems whilst survivors can keep their OP perks and It completely brakes the game and Survivors perks reward you for being bad in fact forces you to be bad in order to use. In conclusion you can use perks on survivor that requires no skill that get you easy wins. What'd yall think
When you compare killers and survivors as a whole, killers are a lot stronger because you have a lot more useless perks and items as a survivor than you do have killer addons and powers. But since it is quite easy for the survivors to use the good perks on the character they choose and killers are stuck on the same abilities, I would say the game is pretty balanced for most killers and survivor sided when you use weak killers

@DwightOP said:
- Gap between solo and swf is extremely huge. As long as this stays huge, there will be always one part (solos or killers) left behind.
- The RNG factor is to big. Some maps spawn jungle gyms back to back and the other time only TL walls. Sometimes strong windows are blocked, other times they are open. Trapper traps, pig traps etc have to much RNG in them aswell. Exit gate spawn close or not.
Rng is good, but RNG shouldn't have such a huge impact.
We need to tackle both issues to have a good base to start balancing on it.
I disagree with RNG being an issue. I don't think having easier matches because of tile placement or harder ones because of no good loops is bad for any side

I keep hearing about how the complaining doesn't do anything, It's not warranted, constructive criticism is much more beneficial. I agree. It's hard though when things are so unbalanced as a whole.
So I was thinking about my interaction with this game, where do I feel frustrated, where do I feel like I'm having the most fun, etc...
Which got me thinking about this question.
Which role is more stressful to play... Survivor or Killer?
Which SHOULD be more stressful to play? In the sense of what this game is, and is the current result appropriate?
I just feel like a dialogue should be had in this regard to identify where the true frustrations lay. I would imagine fun is the ultimate goal for all, It is a game after-all.
Thanks.
Depends on the killer, the survivors, the rank, the match, the map.
You have trolls on both sides, you have difficult matches for both sides

So...
We’re talking about functionality here, which is never underestimated, regardless of killer or survivor.
just because i’m a survivor doesn’t mean i don’t like functionality..
think on both sides of the fence, not just from a killer standpoint..
I actually have played a lot more survivor than killer since the ghostface's release, and I always run WGLF and have no problems so that is the standpoint im using

yeah but it’s only for bloodpoints.
bbq has 2 uses: auras and BP, so make PT the same (not only for co-op), and maybe they could rework WGLF
Survivors are a team, so they dont really suffer by having one player with 3 perks.

It's logic doesn't make sense. How can you heal a wound to your back by yourself? I mean, the game is SUPPOSE to rely on teamwork, right? That's some REAL Rambo 💩💩💩right there... Lmao
If you think that way it is truly hard to explain most perks. Like, you are dying on the ground and because the last gen popped your wounds close and you become sonic?

No, I hated insta-heal. (Killer main mostly) I also hate self-care. I just stabbed you in the back, but you can magically reach around and heal yourself? That makes sense...And what I meant is, killers don't rely on them nearly as much as survivor does. Only exception really is huntress with iri heads, and I'm sure that's getting a nerf soon too. A lot of complaints and quitters over that one...
You hate self care? I feel literal happiness when a survivor decides to waste 40 seconds healing instead of doing gens

Man people need to learn how to read before bashing someone and making an ass out of themselves. He didn't say he has 1000hrs as survivor. Have a nice day!
He said for the first 1000 hours that he played the game, he did it as a killer main, and he has been playing another 1000 hours as a survivor. You would assume he has at least 2000 hours, or else it would be as absurd as a person with 100 hours saying that they will be playing their next 1000 hours as x side so they have some merit. He could have just said "I have 140 hours on survivors" but he didn't , because he wanted to make it seem like he had more experience in game than he actually does

To be honest, I did main killer for the first 1000 hours, but have been maining survivor for the next 1000. I just hadn't changed my picture in the forums till I thought about it today. Currently at 1143 hours in the game, so I haven't been playing survivor for more than a couple of months, but this counter worked for me today, and I'm pretty sure It'll work for you too the next time you go up against an Oni with this add-on. Just spreading the news, it's up to you whether its good or not.
That is some ######### math. You have 1143 hours, so you can't have mained killer and survivor for 1000 hours each

To take a break from all the whinging, I wanna ask: Which killer do you find the most satisfying to place as?
For me its either Nurse or Huntress, they’re both more difficult then most killers but when you land a precise blink or hatchet that’s the best feeling.
How about you guys ?
It is definitely the trapper. Planning the trap spot, luring the survivor to it and hitting them on the ground gives you such a powerful feeling

Before introducing hook recovering, sabotage was very fun mechanic... for Survivors. For killers it was butt hurting as hell.
After introducing hook recovering, sabotage was nerfed to the ground and very few Survivors tried it... to get disappointed.
Now Sabotage.. can work, but it is very difficult, and if it works - killers become annoyed, they are forced to slug - boring gameplay for Survivors. Sabotage is underwhelming, but it should be, and it hurts both sides.
Bcs of this, sabotage should be decommissioned, for the game in my opinion it would be healthier.
It can just exist to me. No Mither is top tier if everyone has an alex toolbox

I think that the dead by daylight teams decision to start an official forum was a mistake.
There is so very few positive posts on here and I feel like it will spook the devs into changing the game in a way that only caters to the small % of whiners that post about how the game is "broken"
Dont get me wrong the game is not perfect but you start hearing "this killer is OP" this perk is weak, this feature is broken. Then you start making the game for the worst part of the community.
Look at data, take critique from content creators that use the game as a means of livelihood. And trust your gut devs.
Dont cater to the trolls, The salty babies that want the game easy and toxic. The ones that will never be happy and feel entitled to get there way everytime.
This is quite a paradox. You use the forums to say the forums provide bad info on what should be changed but then that makes your opinion bad what makes you right at the same time

I mean she requires a lot of skill so it is ok for you to think so
-
@Blueberry said:
The majority of people seem to think she is still nearly just as strong and worthy of S tier.
In all my experience with and against her post changes, she seems significantly weaker. Almost every game I've gone against her at rank 1 she's been destroyed. Her cooldown is very abusable as a survivor. I'd give her maybe A tier now.
So there is this very good nurse main that has over 5k hours in my region and he still recks us all when we are swf and get matched with him. I think Nurse's skill cap has just increased, but she definitely is still the best killer if you are very good with her

I used to like playing killer but as soon as u get to rank 1 forgot about it have fun playing a grand total of like 4 killers that are viable out of the almost 20 killers we have and they won't even let u guys only have like 4 good killers everything to the devs and the rank 20s needs to be wraith level 😂 Good luck man this game needs more real options like yours because this game is going to be dead by daylight before we know it.

@cipherbay_ said:
Not even surprised at this point. As soon as I saw Not Queen read the "forever Freddy" question on QnA I knew they were going to nerf Freddy, but here is also why it's BS
1."Forever Freddy" does not exist, its just a term survivor mains came up with to label a build they do not like.
2. "Forever Freddy" Only works if you are in the dream world, there is a reason why there are clocks and other ways to wake up ie. Failing skill checks, snap and clap. They want to incentive to wake up, they'll probably remove dream pallets as well as it takes too many brain cells to remember what pallet has been used even though you can wake up and avoid it all together.
3. Its punishing the killer for keeping survivors in dream world. I know people will say "But Thanatophobia, But Dying Light(does not affect obsession + gives them action boost) But Pop goes the weasel." Yes those are perks that rewards killers for doing their objective, just like how Adrenaline or Detectives Hunch (underrated) can reward survivors.
4. I still see gens getting done in less than 5 minutes and beyond with coordinated teams and its becomes especially fast when you take into a account the various tool boxes + add Ons, and perks that can speed up gens (Resilience, Prove Thyself, Spine Chill)
So it's come to my understanding that "Gen Rushing" (Survivors Objective) is completely fine but Debuff Rushing to add time to the game (Killers Objective) is not.
The End!!
This is wrong overall. Forever Freddy is not a term "survivor mains" came with, but actually a term made up by the person who thought of the build and realised gens take over a minute more if you can get everything going. Also, another thing you said that is wrong is that the penalty is a way to incentivate survivors to wake up, which is not true. The regression works on awake survivors, and it only really increases 12 percent if all are asleep (the exact numbers are treaky to remember).
Also, you really don't have any way to play around that build other than being subjected to an insane amount of slowdown that every good killer could take advantage of to straight up win the match.
Freddy is an awesome killer to the game, but just like Nurse and Spirit, he has problematic addons
