No it’s definitely enlarged or at least better in some sort of way than a normal T/L wall. Didn’t say the meat locker one is loopable, just saying it is a vault. Don’t forget the meat grinder vault and the vault above the bathroom with the security cameras.
At this point you are doint the same as consider the vaults on the edge of macmillan and autohaven maps as loops

Does have that enlarged T/L wall, jungle gym window and the frozen meat room window. I disagree with the pallets. There’s only the red room you can’t really loop and the two corner ones. I agree stealth killers are good, but that by itself doesn’t make the map a killer sided one in general. I talked about totem spots being good already in my OP. I think there’s a lot of good perks for both sides to be used on this map.
That t wall is normal size and it is the only one. The frozen room is not really loopable because of the meat.

I swear I see at least one person every other game, is this just me noticing for the first time? Or is it because of the new reset that more people are red rank and “don’t deserve it,” if you understand my meaning.

That's not true! We have a new chapter now; and it totally didn't introduce tons of game breaking bugs.
Honestly, given BHVR's track record for updates we're probably lucky they didn't introduce Winter stuff before their holiday break; we probably could have had a repeat of December 2017.
Imagine facing a Plague with Empathy; or New 0 TR Michael with a Chainsaw.
It has been almost a month since the new chapter, and there are tons of new game breaking bugs. Basement, scratch marks, dcs from the servers and more.

How about you can't recover if you have ds
So you just slug the survivor with absolutely no penalty for doing so? How about people who use ds just get auto hooked when they hit the skill check so your life is easier

I think a way to help survivors who feel at a loss if the first person who gets downed DC's or if they are tunnelled they DC, is to have whenever a survivor DC's make it to where a random generator that is at 0% progression to completed, now if all Generators have been tapped or worked on then have the lowest progressed Generator be completed immediately. This would be great AFTER the new DC penalties are introduced, so it stops people from DCing if they are on death hook or something similar.
this just helps so that after they are introduced and about after a week of people realizing they cant rage quit or be punished, then this can be implemented as well to help the times where your at a huge disadvantage due to a survivor DCing.
Thoughts?
Whenever there are more than 3 gens, a dc will automatically complete one gen furthest from the killer and give 2 k bps for each category for each player

I got to thinking the other day... if you had to flip a switch and BAM! - any one killer and one survivor of your choice are gone from the game, which would you pick? But wait, there's a catch:
Not only is that character gone, as in never existed, but all their PERKS and MAP (if applicable) also never existed. They were never a thing, never thought of, not included in future chapters... nothing. Simply gone from the game. What/who could you live without?
Now that you know the rules, which killer and survivor would you flip the switch on? They don't necessarily have to be from the same chapter.

As we all know the Clown is the worst and most buggy killer in the game. His kit has one function (to stop looping and end chases quickly). Except his power is completely neutered by camping pallets and because there are so many pallets, the Clown can't do anything about it. Not only that but you will come across the many bugs (such as when the bottle explodes in his hands).
So I want to ask the Clown mains. Do you want poor Clown to be buffed or reworked and be given a new fun and useful kit?
And a question to the devs. When is Clown and the other low tier killers getting some love? They really need it.
Ok, so I have about 560 hours on him alone (1200) in game and I have a buff for him on my profile. I think Clown is a terrible killer, but Curtain Call has been my favorite DLC ever since it was launched, so I stuck with him. The main issue with Clown is that what his power is designed to do, he doesn't do well. Base Clown has 4 bottles, and it takes him 5 seconds to reload them. Base Kit Clown also suffer a 1 second penalty every time he throws a bottle, so no vaults, breaks, hits (he also has a movement speed penalty.) Now, all these downsides wouldn't be significant if the Intoxicated Effect was strong, but it isn't. A bottle hinders a survivor less than a Freddy's Snare does (Freddy has 10 and can keep placing them) and it doesn't prevent survivors from fast vaulting. Besides, on places like the Macmillan's infinite, Freddy can place multiple snares, shutting down the infinite on less than one loop. When you use Clown however, the penalty you suffer from throwing multiple bottles literally gives the survivor more distance than they are hindred. Also, the sight penalty the gas offers is insignificant, not helping with mindgames or moonwalking. The Clown also has not map awereness, traverse speed or regression mechanics, playing with Clown consists of using the best perks you can and a mediocre chase ability.

I'm killer main who is very tired for how unenjoyable killer side now is.
If the Survivors are so organised, there is no chance to sacrifice even one survivor. Because, there are so many pallets and very strong windows called the God-loop. Plus, even if I tried so hard and finally hook one survivor, then 2 or 3 gens would be done immediately.
I don't think the balance of this game is survivor sided, but the almost every maps, except the Lery's, the Game and the Hawkins, are so survivor sided. (e.g. Blood Lodge, The Pale Rose, Disturbed Ward, The Thompson House, etc...)
So the killers don't need buff. PLEASE nerf the maps.
I agree we need a map rework, but some killers are very bad. Take Clown for example, since he is my best killer. His power is bad at ending chases, he slows people less than half of how much Freddy's Snares do, doesn't prevent fast vaults like Snares. (And that is only comparing the power, since Freddy still teleports and has the whole dream world mechanic). Also, not only is Clown a terrible killer power wise, he has a nerf to his mindgames. Basic shack vaults or mindgames don't exist with Clown because he moans while vaulting, what announces the action. Clown is without a doubt the games worst killer

Everyone has their favourite killer and least favourite killer to go against, maybe they're considered fun or unfun to play against or often that killer is associated with an unpopular play style (camping and tunneling).
These are my favourite killers to play against:
Hill Billy: I main Hill Billy when I play as killer, I know his strengths and his limitations. Going against a good Hill Billy can be a lot of fun. A chase with a very good Hill Billy is often a lot more exciting than a chase with any other killer.
Demogorgon: He's a lot of fun to play against, and he looks pretty cool too.
Huntress: Most games against Huntress are a lot of fun, trying to dodge her hatchets is fun too.
Hag: Hag is one of the main killers I play. Reasons I enjoy playing against her is because whilst she's a strong killer she's one of the easiest killers to 360. I like watching the Hag set her traps and then immediately setting them off (mostly in the Hag's face).
Myers: Myers games are quite unpredictable as there are many ways you can play as Myers. He's one of the only killers that can provide a fear factor in the trial.
My least favourite killers to play against:
Freddy: Freddy has always been by far my least favourite killer to play against. Whether when he was the weakest killer in the game to when he was strong, he's always been annoying and unfun to play against in my opinion. For the fact that borrowed time doesn't work against him whilst asleep is annoying as well (like you need to camp with the second/third strongest killer in the game).
I rather go against Spirit then Freddy.
------------
Spirit: I don't think Spirit is overpowered but as someone that can't get out of rank 1 as survivor, she's often the most common killer I go against. What I find annoying most about Spirit, isn't her as a killer but how people play as her. Most Spirits I go against are often tunnelers (which you don't expect to see at red ranks). Even if there's a disconnect at the start, most Spirits will still tunnel the hooked survivor.
Plague: This one is no fault to the killer or the player playing killer, but due to the solo survivor experience. When you're playing as a solo survivor you can guarantee that one random or two will cleanse. Which can create a frustrating game.
Often you might not be able to get as many altruistic points as you would against other killers.
Clown: Just because I don't like clowns.
I love playing against billy, trapper, huntress and nurse. When I play survivor, I hate playing as Spirit
-
I got it in one match with bond, a shroud of binding and a commodious with a 30 charge addon and a bps. On the beggining, I already did a gen and after that I followed one of the people that were with me to another gen. I finished that one with lets say Bill and saw Claudette working alone on another gen while Laurie was getting chased. I finished the gen with Claudette (3 in total) and worked alone on the fourth. I avoided the killer the whole match, it was a Demogorgon

It’s strong for survivors if they are conservative with pallets and get generators done fast. Once the pallets are gone the whole map is a dead zone. There is almost no vaults on the map so there is nothing keeping survivors safe besides the unmindgamable safe pallets.
Luckily for survivors the map is full of safe pallets that the killer HAS to break and the pallets seem endless so rarely do they run out of pallets before all the generators pop.
The map is definitely favored toward survivors because most of the pallets are safe. If they just throw down pallets and go through them quickly then the match will quickly turn into the killer’s favor.
Most of the pallets are safe, but the loops they are in are too big to loop even once, so the pallets have to be thrown early and when that is done 3 times, the map is a dead zone
-
@Acesthetiic said:
The loops and countless safe pallets can make this map so strong for survivors. I always see people saying this map is killer sided, but I just don’t see it? I love when I get this map as survivor, as I know I can take advantage of so many strong loops and waste the killers time.
Great Loops I can think of include: 2 pallets above the bathroom, 2 pallets beside the bathroom (the closer one gets incredibly weaker once the gen gets done, so it’s better to use that sooner rather than later. Although you can choose not to do that gen which can be very unsafe depending on the killer), Jungle gym (usually/always just one), Enlarged T/L wall (reusable!), Pallet outside of red room (completely safe), Those two complete safe pallets in which one spawns on the top corner floor and the other spawns directly below it on the bottom floor, meat grinder drop (even better with BL) into a decent pallet.
That’s just the great ones! That’s 10! amazing spots on this maps. There’s also a lot of decent loops where you have a good chance at winning. I’d say around another 10-15 of those quite honestly.
As killer, (it depends what killer I am) I usually feel neutral about it. LOS is a big asset as it’s hard for a survivor in discern where you are in a certain location. Can be great for totems spots too if you like running those.
I honestly find this map quite balanced, if not a little survivor sided (high ranks).
Those are my thoughts about this map. What are yours?
Well, the map has no vault locations, and while the pallets seems safe you don't loop them because they are often a long that requires you to drop them instantly, which leads to an arguement whether or not these pallets are safe. Also, totem spawns in this map are pretty good, and this map helps big TR and Stealth killers at the same time because of the million line of sight blockers or the constant terror radius that you dont know is in your floor. And, some popular perks here are greatly boosted on the killers side, like spine chill that is always on and nurses calling that is always on range. I think these reasons make it a killer sided map

Now while i can say both Survivors and Killers have OP Perks and Add-ons, Ruin is one of the most OP killer perks in the game, DS was OP and was nerfed to be an Anti-Tunnel Perk, Brand-New Part was OP and was nerfed multiple times before it is where it is now and is still useful but not as much, and Insta-Heals were OP and they were "reworked" to be different add-ons which are still strong but not as much as instantly gaining a health level or two.
As a survivor who is rank 7 i can do ruin, but when i get matched with a rank 15 killer, and rank 13-20 survivors almost every game while i am not in a SWF, it gets annoying when i have teammates who run around looking for ruin instead of pushing through, now while i dont want a nerf to the perk, i want a nerf to the amount of time it takes to start progressing on the Generator again. Right now if you miss the great skill check and hit the good skill check on ruin it takes 3 seconds to start progressing again, IMO this should only happen when you miss a skill check and for ruin's case it should not stop the progress if you hit a good skill check.
The reason why people hate it is because when the progress is stopped you feel annoyed because you dont see progress being made. Maybe they should change it to where when you hit a good skill check on ruin it doesn't stop the progress, and then increase the amount of regression on the Generator from 3/4/5% to maybe 5/6/7 or 6/7/8, and for each person working on a gen it adds and extra 1/2/3 percent to the regression of hitting good skill checks, while it could be considered a "buff" this would help gens from being rushed by teaming up on gens, and this would help people to still "feel" like they are making progress.
i myself get annoyed when i see that progress bar not moving at all, but maybe with this change and a little tweaking, it could still be strong and less annoying to go against.
Thoughts?
I think Hex:Ruin is fine where it is, because the perk itself is a gamble. You sacrifice a slot for a powerful effect that might last 20 seconds

I personally think the majority of unlockables were pointless. I didn't like any of the charms except the Trapper's trap which is authentic. The majority of the other charms where just cack.
The Trapper mask was a good cosmetic, but that aside, pretty meh.
I also found some of the challenges irritating, but that was was usually down to the potatoness/saltanomics of some of the fellow players.
Personally. I'm not buying it again. I spend waaaaay too much time already on DBD. I spent all the accumulated cells on cosmetics too.

I personally those ideas are good but maybe a bit too much punishing as a nerf
I think having hooked all the survivors at least once should be the only requirement for the moris, as you dont want to spend the whole game hooking survivors to use your mori, it would be basically like using Rancor, moriing someone grants immediate kill yes, but everyone else gets the time to escape.
For the keys, I think just giving time to use the key is fine, as a killer main the only thing that annoys me is when a survivor opens the hatch right in front of me in the middle of the chase, dooming the others (because generally it means 2 other survivors died) and denying me my down and potential kill like it's nothing, without any required skill.
But moris being used instead of hooking is an issue
-
@laurelstroodle said:
I think we all know Moris and Keys are cheap af and needs a nerf, cause there shouldn't be any way to end the game prematurely.
Moris:
Once 4 survivors have been ALL hooked and are in their final hook you gain the abillity to kill em' by your own hands.
It would still be strong if you ask me, cause it negates a possible pallet save, body block or a flashlight save.
Keys:
Purple keys:
You start an animation of 12s trying to open the hatch and get 3 skillchecks (It can be the ones like snap out of it *doctor*) if you fail at least 2 of them you dont alert the killer, the next time you fail a skillcheck you make a noise.
-Only 2 people can escape with this key
-While you are in the opening animation you make an audible noise which can be hear in a max of 6m
-The 12s can be reduced with add-ons
-(NEW ULTRARARE ADDON FOR KEYS) This addons delete 2 skillchecks and considerably make it bigger.
PINK KEY/SKELETON KEY
You start an animation of 7 seconds trying to open the hatch and get 2 extremely hard skillchecks, if you fail a skillcheck you dont alert the killer but all you're progress is gone.
-3 people can escape with this keys
-While you are in the opening animation you make an audible noise which can be hear in a max of 9m
-The 7s cannot be reduced.
-The ultrarare addon cannot be used on this key
Give me your feedback guys!
I might seem radical here, but I honestly think Keys should not open hatch for more than one person and moris should be usable on death hook ( Ebony 4, Ivory 2, Cypress 1)

Ditto, I was a basekit nurse and dropped her as well despite being able to 4k. The cooldown wasn't the way to go as it made her boring.
How does it make her boring? You just have to wait 4 seconds after 2 blinks if you spent all charges, and you always have the option to blink with only one
-
@LordRegal said:
I feel like the whole “streamer says Nurse is still viable” argument ignores what people who play her more frequently have been saying, which is “yes we can still 4k with her, but we aren’t having fun anymore.” Otz and Tru3 are both excellent killers, but neither of them play Nurse much at all. So they’re going to approach it from a viability point, which is, yes, she’s still viable. I as a former Nurse main won’t argue that at all.
What I will argue is she’s extremely unfun to play now. Every. Single. Time. I want to use my power as Nurse I am punished twice over for it. First by the fatigue, which was expected, and then the cooldown period, which is new. It’s made me legitimately not want to blink in games with her because I don’t want to use them and then be stuck in a waiting simulator watching my prey getting away. I played her seriously...3 games, post rework. 4ked all 3. But I remember just being so done with the game by the end of each one because I was just frustrated and not having fun. Fun is more important to me than winning. Had an Ace trolling me today as Trapper. He messed up finally and stepped in a random trap, I mocked him back (spinning camera around) and laughed as he DCed before giving the fourth player the hatch. That was fun. 4king as Nurse is extremely unfun and it’s why I’ve dropped the character.
I know I’m not the only one who feels that way. Multiple people who loved playing Nurse have said more or less this. She has too many glaring weaknesses now that top level nurses can mitigate relatively well, but doing so is stressful and not at all fun. So if 7% of good Nurses dropped her for not having fun anymore, and no one new picked her up, we’d see her kill rate go down about that percent. And that’s more or less what’s happened, or at least it’s what I believe has happened so long as we don’t have updated pick rates for killers. I’m willing to bet Nurse had a pretty hard drop off in pick rate after people saw and tried out the changes, and that explains her new stats.
Viability isn’t where Nurse is hurting. Fun is.
Oh ok I understand. To me, Nurse is still extremely fun, but now I get it. What do you think should be done?

On the best map for Nurse and he only had a couple of hooks before all 5 gens were done. He killed 3 because he slugged at the end and they made a few mistakes at the end. He lost before the gens were done because the survivors were good, they exploited the new nurse and because of his cooldown he couldn't keep enough map pressure. If these survivors were on a map like Lery's, Stranger Things Map, Spirit or Oni's map, or on Rotten Fields, it would have been impossible to beat them, all four would have escaped.
Blood Lodge is a terrible map for nurse because of its size and long walls
-
Your point is valid, but you can also imagine that if he did not make those mistakes, he would have had a much smoother match and that is where the idea comes from

Whether it's buff or nerf, their mindset is incorrect. They did not aim to buff doctor at all despite being low tier killer. Their so called buff is only the side effect of what they're gonna do, which is making him more fun to play against for survivors.
I wouldn't mind they make him more fun to play against, but buffing him should also be their goal at the same time.
If they keep thinking like this, killers that deserve buff are gonna get butchered again like legion, pig or leatherface
Oh a little conspiracy now I wonder

My point being is that if you take the opinion from someone about Nurse that person should also have a good amount of game play showing that they are a proficient Nurse at red ranks. Otz saying Nurse is the strongest and playing like that is not particularly convincing.
Yes that is correct
-
And I'm terribly sorry but I will add a third thing, on that particular match you showed me he doesn't wait the full cooldown and blinks with only one charge 20 plus times, what is a terrible blunder on the new nurse

Original poster says Nurse add on abusers quit playing Nurse.
You are saying Nurse add on abusers are still playing Nurse.
There is a clear contradiction here and only one or the other can be right. I do not know how I can make the explanation more simple.
And also, he intentionally paths his blinks wrong to showcase the new addon, it happens twice in the chase against the kate and a couple more times throughout the match

Unless you’re playing vs Pig and some teammates have masks on, there is always plenty of time to tie up loose ends and save teammates after the start of EGC. I have never survived because a teammate 99d the doors. I have however died twice from it as a killer was hot on my tail and instead of just running out I had to stop and do the last 1% allowing him to down me. And I’ve almost died from that situation a few more times. On top of this, points are boosted in EGC so 99 ing the doors is taking BPs away from everyone. And finally, 99 ing doesn’t let other survivors realize that an exit is in fact “open”. Knowing that you don’t have to spend 30 secs opening a gate is useful information.
I humbly submit that from all the above reasons 99 ing the doors does much more harm than good and people need to stop doing it. Prove me wrong.
Ah so you are the one opening the doors on my solo queues huh?

At the same time I feel that map changes that would need to be made are quite the hefty task for behavior and I really dont see it happening, or at least not soon. And I pretty rarely get hit by ds, but it may cause me to leave 1 or more than 1 person on the ground for a whole minute(which they'll likely get picked up before anyways). And yes dead hard does not always working on dedicated servers, which kills me when i play survivor, but im thinking they gotta be working on that right?

Like in the beginning we all do it, I see it as a strange way of saying hello. I also tend to crouch spam after being healed or someone gives me an item as a way of saying thank you lol.
I attempt the Morse code with killers sometimes but it just doesn't translate as well since they can't do it back lol.

I try to play all killers, maybe with exception of 1 or 2 I dont like, but either way in my experience its very frustrating for killer at high rank and I thought perk changes might help alleviate this. And to be honest sometimes I just get bored with survivor, I feel like I get away with too much especially because of these perks.
To be fair, a lot of players think the survivor's best perks cause unbalance in the game but I don't agree. Rather, the maps are what tips the balance to the survivors imo. I play killer at purple/red ranks as well and never get hit by a DS or a BT, because I almost never see a hooked survivor a minute after I hook him and whenever someone unhooks near me I go for the unhooker. And about exhaustion, I actually feel like most perks are bad right now. Take Balanced, Lithe and Head On into consideration and you'll see they are barely usable now. Also, Sprint Burst doesn't bother me, and on dedicated servers dead hard doesn't work lol

I don't have a screenshot, but that one pallet inside the temple on the Temple of Purgation is horrific for survivor. It's probably the most unsafe pallet in the game. If you've seen it you know what I mean.
I never got this pallet as a survivor (thank fing god) but on the Badham maps there is a pallet that can spawn near a trash can. Literally a trash cam, less than 2 meter wide. You have a wider side and a trash can, so if you try to loop it the killer just goes around

So many killers are add-on dependent. Wraith is probably the best example. If he has the right add-ons, some would argue he is top tier. No add-ons, low tier. Every killer should be able to stand on their own without any add-ons. Some can, like Billy and Huntress. Most cannot, with Nurse being added to that pile. With survivors, keys, toolboxes, and med-kits give you a bonus, but you can do quite well without any of them. That is exactly what killer add-ons should be, a bonus or interesting effect.
Well, all the killer that I can think of are addon reliant are the very bad ones, but again they should have their powers buffed

If you think the perks are fine do you think something else should be changed, I play both killer and survivor and remain consistent with being rank 1. In my experience as a solo, its really easy for survivors to pip, and if not, at the least black pip. While on the other hand when I play killer I unironically work up a sweat for a black pip at the least. I feel like its in part to these perks but maybe im wrong.
Well, I don't think those are related. Some killers really suffer from the pipping system, like Plague and Myers but others actually have a really easy time, like Wraith and Freddy (that is, if you can get the kills with Wraith).

I did not deny, I just said it doesn't happen in my games

LoL
True says is in a good spot yet loses, same with Otz he had a game where he was bullied as nurse 🤣 such a good spot. He only played her once and that was on ptb when the nurse was bugged and he was going against potatoes.
And also please send the links, I'm open to rethink things

I think you are the one not understanding. If all the bad Nurses that relied on add ons quit playing Nurse, then the only players playing Nurse right now are the good players that did not rely on addons. That means good Nurse players right now have a 40% kill rate.
That logic doesn't make sense considering people that mained nurse and did what he said would still try to play the killer, but have a hard time

He played her again today, and won. This discussion actually motivated me to go to some popular streamers and ask them, and I clipped their responses. Zubat said nurse was still viable

Well I agree some low tier perks should get buffed but im really just a addressing the ones that I think give survivor too much. What do you think? Do you think these changes are reasonable or too much?
Personally, I think that even with these changes that I would still use these perks, but its possible that you might start seeing survivors use other things than DS, adrenaline, and dead hard, etc.
Imo these perks are fine

But sometimes this could lead to a hatch escape in a swf.
But as OP said, 2 minutes is more than enough time to find the last guy and that is more than half of the survivors bleed out timer. Also, that is a very uncommon situation so the super altruistic swf member will just dc and wait 30 seconds
