What's your play style like? do you like to stealth, do gens and unhook when safe or adapt, distract, heal and get that boldness up?
With buff to Hag urban evasion has grown again to be popular pick but empathy is good to know the location of killer and where chase is happening, so once again depends on your play style

I’ll give it a shot.Nice let me know how you go

Yes we want a free unique mori where if there is a hatch standoff the killer can grab the survivor and crush their head in the trap door multiple times
-
it is a risk being nice during an event but you may have to force your intent on them, grab one off the gen and hook them on the event hook then step back to indicate you want them to be saved.
But did sound like you got matched with survivors that exploited your kindness. No good deed ay
-
Yes unfortunately daytime maps will take away from the theme off the game, but that doesn't mean we won't be getting cool new maps
-
I agree, But the devs have said in the past this is a viable strategy to counter ruin as it takes even longer to complete the gen compared to getting great skill checks
-
So these are the new voice lines we can use as emotes in one of the next chapters?
-
Right now it makes you feel good for 5 secs after voting that you had a decent player in your game
-
Until the devs introduce a friendly mori like a giant bear hug i'm afraid this is unlikely

I think blindness add-ons should work like flashlight blinds. That's right killers turn to flashlight blind survivors and nod at them! (seeing as only pig can teabag back)
-
Too soon to know which direction or theme they are going to go with for Chapter 9 but it could be a Japanese style killer due to the recent release over there.
It's best to wait for the teases again. -

I know why your suggesting this but it will make very rare items not so rare.
Also killers don't camp dropped items, at least i haven't seen one do it yet. So annoying as it is i don't think they will change it. -
Nurse is on the watch list of the devs and will be nerfed in the mid chapter patch of chapter 14.
-
Would be interesting, or it will be the T-1000

-
I just thought of an interesting idea.
What if the survivor has DS perk and lands the skill check then the killer also gets a skill check to counter it.They can throw a short stun/animation on if they like
-
Double the trouble: Enter the trial while duel wielding two chainsaws. Can 360
BoomStick: turn the shotgun around for a ranged attack -

The devs have completely neutered this once useful utility perk. It's not even worth the BP. Seriously. 0 Terror Radius when there has been Generator Progress.Aside from being HEAVILY situational. There's a little thing called the "Red Stain" and the fact that like every killer except good old Cabbage Haggage and Amanda and Freddler Fiddler are large and.. NOT hard to miss at all. You can't really use the whole "0 Terror Radius" thing to a sort of stealth advantage. like.. Even the name. What are you exactly "Tinkering" anyway. The Name and image just.. No they don't fit. I would have been WAY more ok with just even a Nerf. But a complete and total neuter. It's bad enough that both sides have their own version of Barbecue and Chili.
But now a REALLY handy dandy perk has gone the way of the Righteous Bison. The devs said in a stream that this perk is hard to balance with add-ons and getting more and more complicated for future chapters.
They said the effects of old tinker will most likely have the effects tied into add-ons when they do the killer add-on rework.
-
They only recently discovered the new pallet drop animation was strange after slowing it down. Perhaps it is a bug and if you can capture it in slow motion then the devs can look into it.
It might also be the fact that the sound queue is tied into the key combination of sprint + vault regardless of animation speed

One of the most important things I can offer is to look with your ears. Grass is very loud in this game and can be a telltale sign someone is near. Also survivors grunt when they enter lockers so listen out for that too. If you get blinded by a survivor, listen for the off click to get an idea of where they're headed or for their grunts of pain if they're injured. Auditory ques will help you a LOT once you recognize them.Basically this, if you don't use a headset then start too or crank that sound up.
Also try and think like a survivor like how are they likely to hide from you? if you come from the middle of the map are there pallets to your left or right of the gen. Give the gen a circle around and listen for movement.
If they drop a pallet on you would it be safer for them to go right or left after? You have decent perks as well so like it was mentioned practice makes perfect

When the Killer camps a Survivor then i camp the Killer....

So i wanna know how is it possible to adapt as a new survivor if you keep getting camped? Also aren't the killers too op for noob survivors basically moving noob killer up and down between ranks because they arent good too?
ps.Im not new im just a bad at the game, im more of a killer main (rank 13 huntress) so i know how you most killers think but im not sure i can agree with most of it
Depends on your mindset when entering the game, i use to help the team by jumping on a gen straight away but soon found out i was the only one doing this hence getting chased first. With the new exhaustion perk changes i tend to be more cautious when playing survivor....unless i'm playing drunk then i invite the chase
David: Come here you Hic* limely ######### i ll kick your ass.
Feng: David don't provoke the myers he gonna kill you.
David: that little ######### dosen't have the balls to kill me at worst he'll hook me.
Tier 3 myer sounds plays.
Myers moris david.Yes, that is what happens almost 90% of the time but i also add in a few pointing/follow emotes at the killer
-
Hrm how would the stun work with enduring? also i suggested in the past that maybe killers get a new perk which instead of kicking the pallet to break it that they kick it to make it fly full speed in that direction and if it hits the survivor it's a instance down.
Take that teabagger!

You will get a blonde Hag first then maybe blonde survivors

For some reason the title of this post made me think of this song
https://youtube.com/watch?v=jwshr5uAlOA -
The idea behind the exhaustion nerf from one the devs streams is you now have a choice when using exhaustion perks.
The choice is would you like a head start with sprint bust, extra time with dead hard or advantages during a chase with lithe and balanced landing.
All these perks do give you a little bit more time, but up to you which one you want to use.

People like you are the reason this game lives on. Other mindless killers who purposely derank to this level won’t give any mercy to obviously new players. During rank reset if I get matched up with a killer who is new, I let them sacrifice me at the end of the match. I agree the tutorial for survivors is missing a few things.Thank you, i play for fun and blood points, not to rank up. I wish others would do the same but each to their own.

LOL I love it when I randomly get a true newbie in a game.I'll just chase them, and stay right behind them, not hitting them...just chasing them for fun.
Yes i racing her where ever she was going but she didn't understand what i was doing so she would turn around and run the other way. Haha so cute.

Would a shapeshifter that mimics survivors appearances and uses a wraith like decloak to attack work as a New killer?Hey Sally, The devs have said this would be a cool idea and they would love to do it, but no plans yet to implement that.
-
Many idea's have come up with fixing SWF counters and i'm sure the Dev's are not going to punish players for using a game mode they introduced into the game.
Instead i think the better approach is to reward killers for playing a SWF group. One good idea is giving them a Blood point multiplier at the end of the game, the killers may not get as many points during the match vs a non SWF group so i think this approach would be a good start.

And I won...Your thoughts?
Hmm first let me know how many teabags took place?, how many nods took place and how many emotes were used?
-
I don't know the full MMR for players as only the devs know but if she keeps playing she should find a equal match once she has more data for the system to work with.
But i think another solution they should look at is what level all your survivors and killers are and match with players of equal.
As the player base has grown they may need to adjust the Matchmaking Rating once again.
Maybe a dev could shed some light on how the current match making works?

The devs once talked about adding a flying killer into the game yet it was too OP. I hope they can balance it somehow and add a flying killer. The could make a killer with the hero power to jump up high and glide down batman style which would be an instant down if hit.
Not sure if this will work with the in door maps though. -

Ether Pinhead or something based around Japanese horror.Yes with the release of DBD in Japan the might release a Killer more relatable to them,
Most likely another original but based on the idea of licensed killer such as UNHOLY WOMEN (The Woman in Red)Still awhile off so plenty of speculation to be made

Dude it's his first post!, @bruhtrain the devs love feedback but they are aware of camping and tunneling.
They have said during the Q & A stream this is part of the game. The killer can decide to camp the hook or leave it.
No Changes in the near future to implement anything to counter it.However with that being said they might take your idea into consideration but they normally don't punish players.
-
How about they rework tier 3 brutal strength so the killer can pick up dropped pallets and launch it in the direction they are facing causing a instant down if it connects with a survivor. Hmm?
-
@Krueger1428 said:
Tunneling has always been an issue, but ever since this rank reset it seems to have tripled. The Killers have perks to incentivize them not to camp or tunnel, yet they still do. A new survivor perk to counter tunneling would be great, but I have no idea what it could be. So, in lue of that, I suggest the killer gets penalized just like a survivor would if he downs a survivor that's just been hooked. He should lose points everytime he does it, and if he does it over and over he runs the risk of losing tons of points. I do have a few exceptions to this though to make it fair for killers. You will not be penalized if there are two or less survivors alive/if it's your obsession/or the exits are powered. That's my idea. I don't care if every single killer here disagrees, so save your breath. It's not due to rank reset and happens all the time. Tunneling and Camping is part of the game and said so by the devs, If the killer tunnels it means you have 3 other survivors safe somewhere doing whatever, ideally gens but half of them could be tea bagging on a hill watching you, who knows.
Also tunneling is not as bad as you think, If it's you who gets tunneled then yes it sucks but time works against the killer. The longer the chase the worst it is for the killer.
So if you get tunneled then windows are your friend, loop the killer for as long as you can and you will help the others greatly.
Changing perspective and thinking of the game could make it more fun. -

We need significant changes and now devs
Change for the sake of change is a bad idea. What we need is good reasoning and structured changes
Devs need a good idea and not backdown like cowards like closing the hatch idea
That's right, the next iteration is 3 hatches spawn around the map but only one opens up at a time for 2 secs then closes again, totally random which one.
Like whack a mole

My point is that some maps are not designed for certain killers (Michael....the Farm , hillbilly and leather face ... kindergarten and hospital, nurse and trapper...the SAW complex, huntress...clown map, etc ,etc ,etc) and also some perks are not great at certain maps , so why don^t let the HOST(killer) choose the map gud for his killer and not suffer from the randomness?
PS. I main billy and huntress and i can state that playing as billy in hospital is torture and there are some maps where I can strait see every gen that leads to ez huntress wins. The original idea and design for this game was to have that random aspect. The very first video on their YouTube mentions this was how the base game was intended to be played

Whyyyyy 2 years later is it not a simple proximity check instead of some weird crouch affected issue?
I personally enjoy the teabaggery between my fellow survivors at the beginnning of a match or when we find each other. It’s like saying whattssssss upppppp!!!!!!!
The teabagging reunited ritual is very sacred and has been passed done be our ancestral survivors for many games.
Please respect and practice tradition every game!
