Every New Chapter brings a new Killer and Survivor. With those two things added there's always two other things added, their Adepts.

The Survivor Adepts are honestly fine, you escape.. you get your Achievement, life moves on, but the majority myself included are annoyed by how much you gotta do as Killer for even the chance to get the Killer's Adept.

If you play regularly as Killer chances are your MMR is high, and even if you never play a certain Killer your MMR with them is still high (which defeats the point of the MMR System, but that's a talk for another day).

So.. you've got a power you don't know how to use, 3 useless or situational perks, Against 4 Survivors who are due to your MMR pretty good and are probably bringing top tier stuff or maybe even mid stuff. That's quite the task ahead.

So what do you gotta do then for your Achievement? Well it's quite simple..

"You gotta Kill the Survivors, but not too fast, as you won't have enough Devout Emblem, but not too slow either as you won't have enough Gatekeeper Emblem, you can't camp either because you'll lose Malicious Emblem even if you're chasing someone that's running around the Hook. You also gotta make sure you're hitting the Survivor for quick chases... but if your power is an instadown then welp.. goodbye Chaser Emblem."

"So you know.. if you can do that then enjoy your Adept.. just make sure you do it like a few weeks after the Chapter Release as sometimes its glitched and it takes awhile for us to fix it.. oh and if your power doesn't count for Chaser either then well.. just wait until we also fix it.. Cough Trickster Adept Cough."

Why is there so many steps for an Achievement? I understand there needs to be a challenge, I got Trickster's Adept on release while on Console, but 50 Prerequisites before you can get something done isn't a challenge, that's a checklist.

So what's my proposal? "Kill 3 Survivors as [KILLER] with their 3 unique Teachable Perks" or " Achieve 8 Hooks as [KILLER] with their 3 unique Teachable Perks" No Emblems needed and something that can be done easily even if you don't know the Killer entirely well.

It's challenge so you have to have very good match to do it. I actually like it that you can't get it if you camp so you actually have to go for chases. In lower grades 3K is enough so if you can't get it now wait for grade resets. For instadown killers there is add ons which makes that you don't one hit survivors so you can use them to get it.

    1) I said baseline chases. DH is an optional perk.

    2) If that's true than players who don't pick DH are implicitly saying the occasional Nurse game is not worth the DH swap. A very different tune.

    3) DS buffs the entire roster, it was already getting diminished returns against range addon Nurse.

    4) None of these situations are a given, second blinks can be earned and foiled even without DH.

Many times I have managed to extend chase lot longer with nurse because ds it nerf will only encourage tunneling more and was totally unnessecary. Before it gave time to get out of sight but now it will leave you to open. Dh already was bad on console compared to pc (no i frames) and nerf will make it useless. Nurse games happen occasionally so yeah there is no reason to use it and agains't good nurse it extend chase for 5-10s. I believe many will use sprint burst as it can somewhat counter nurse if they don't expect it. But lithe and balanced landing nurse can easily blink throught what I've seen.

Buff Freddy, Sadako, Pig and Trapper.

    Nerf Nurse and Blight.

Blight should not be nerfed he is hardest killer on the game and requires lot of skill. Nurse needs rework and changed more like oni to be m1 killer at start with 115% movement speed and earn her power.

They'd basically have to do one (or some combination) of:

    • Significantly increasing the turn rate (both during rush and rush attacks)
    • Decreasing/removing the sensitivity slowdown (and/or making the "ease up" happen quicker)
    • Give us a flick toggle button that essentially does the first option and dials up the sensitivity when pressed

...and somehow do any of that without breaking him on MnK.

If they only add those on controller like aim assist works in fortnite only for controller just for comparision.

A 20min game is usually a worst-case scenario. Like two survivors left, 3+ gens still up, and each survivor is waiting out the killer finding the other so they can attempt the hatch or seeing if the killer will give up and DC.

Good or bad, most trials last ~10min or less.

My trials usually last around 15-20 mins when I win. I quess im slow but I don't try to force the game to end. Like some killers when they get first kill they slug remaining survivors and end match there but I do that rarely and survivors has to make huge mistakes.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Anyway, I dunno what you said that was deleted OP but I still stand by my words: do not play this killer on a gamepad. You are hard capped in a way that other killers are not. Blight is only so highly regarded because of the crazy turns he can pull off on MnK that allow him to not only get easy hits on people out in the open, but also around a plethora of objects.

Devs could definetely make blight work on new gen consoles. Fortnite works same on pc vs new consoles so I don't see why dbd could not make to work as well.

Oh no, you made an assumption about me and used that to discredit me, rather than provide any real evidence.

    Oh no. I'm so hurt.

On the off chance you're not a troll, bottom tier killers absolutely need some love, of which they got quite a bit with this update. Nurse doesn't benefit from the baseline changes at all and Blight benefits from them at a reduced rate thanks to his pallet crushing mechanics and extreme mobility.

Nurse benefit from dh nerf as many people will drop it and that means you need one less hit to down people. Also ds nerf changes that you need only one blink to down survivor again.

The problem is that new killers get rekt because freddy, myres, pinhead, ghostface, nemises, ringu all trash compared to high teir killers.

People come to this game because of these franchises and are leave soon after.

Myers is good with tombstone Im having like 10 game winstreak with him without effort.

  • Well you were unlucky with noed usually still at least 1-2 can get away still. But your mistake was to leave the first teammate die on hook you could saved him with bt and do a trade. So then you would have 4 people alive at the endgame and I think you could then get 3 man escape. It's important to do a trade once at least with bubba so you get more time.

The point of DCing at that point is because there is no point to remain if you've barely moved from the area. It's not like I was a sore loser in a SWF that DCed after getting outplayed.

Dc penalty is there so survivors don't do that every match while killer outplays them. While dc penalty was off I had matches survivors just dc:t if I got control of the match and got hooks quickly so it needs to be there also it's bot either fun when killer dc:s when he got outplayed. Personally if toxic killer would tunnel me I would probably dc as well and I understans why you do it. Toxic killers don't deserve kills that's why I dc.

Oh I'm not denying that it does happen, I've escaped many facecamping Bubba, because you do run into them on occasion. I'm saying I've seen many matches where you get 2-3 deaths too, or even an entire wipe out. Really depends on the actions of your teammates, and usually hook trading goes on at the bare minimum. This play style isn't healthy for the game, since most do not enjoy being camped out or playing gen simulator.

Facecamping bubba is so rare so I don't see problem and it's kinda fun. Bigger issue is huntress facecamping he can down unhooker before he can make it to the hook and they usually also go for grap. Bubba is also pretty easy to loop so you usually get good chase before he facecamps you.

Unless you're running Kindred or are playing on a team, generally at least 1 or 2 people are going to attempt a save if they're good survivors. If I see them facecamping, I'll back off and go back to a gen, but a 3 man escape isn't generally what happens.

I have escaped facecamping bubba lot of times in soloQ. One match bubba got me quickly and started to facecamp but my teammates noticed that and just did gens while I was almos dying on hook one came to save me and traded with bubba. I then went to finish last gen and then rest of us just left with 3 man escape. That bubba had noed as well so it's always smart to just leave after last gen gets done.

  • @rvzrvzrvz said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3053116#Comment_3053116

no dude if he's good enough to catch someone quickly and run perks like corrupt-deadlock-noed he can easily get 2-3k, especially with your average solo Q team not very efficient at doing gens

Well that bubba would probably won anyway without facecamping. Usually soloQ teammates can do gens but go down quickly in chase. But you have to also trade with bubba if he has slow down perks so that the guy on hook does not die before the gens are finished.

  • @deKlaw_04 said:

I normally don’t like to complain about stuff like this (mostly solo que) but I’m sorry. Out of the three survivors games I have played 2 of them where facecamping bubbas with dead lock and noed. The other was a pyramid head which was fun but that’s because I love playing against them. The only difference was one ran bamboozle and the other one didn’t.

    https://youtu.be/ugzHOW7KiOk

I could have played better and should have anticipated the noed (which is another thing that perk and dead hard should have gotten nerfed harder). But the feng that got facecamped first did not deserve what happened to her. I felt bad. This bubba was also a twitch streamer don’t worry I wasn’t toxic towards him compared to his next opponents. All I asked was “why” and he says “because it’s fun and easy.” Great. Then has the audacity to say “ggs”. Him in chase is fine I don’t have a problem. But his camping is ridiculous. Why is this not fixed? Also @GoodBoyKaru did we not have a deal to trade my bubba matches for your blight matches? Lmao

Bubba facecamping is not issue others can finish gens while he does that and is possible to trade with him. You should be happy if bubba does that as he gives survivors free 3 man escape if they just do the gens.

I think the main problem people have with it is games ending too fast. Casual players want to play the game and enjoy it but if games only last 5-7 minutes it’s hard to enjoy it as much.

My games usually last 15 minutes or more im pretty good slowing down the game as killer and I don't try to end them fast I avoid tunneling if I can for example. My survivor games can thought last anything between 2-20 mins.

  • Change her like oni that she has to earn her power and make her 115% movemet speed.

  • @Tryharder said:

Shouldn’t exist tbh, killers like legion get punish heavily for missing an attack. Especially on console when auto aim is too slow for the instant 360ing and killer fov is so crappy that a survivor can spin into you and you can’t see them without backing up.

I play on console and getting 360 as legion when I have like 3 seconds left of my power is stressful. Most other killers I can just wait it out and take a step back to get a clean hit. even then most of the time they spin into the killer blind spot which is literally the killers feet and I get lost.

They should make legion lunge easier to hit while in frenzy for console players.

  • @EvilSerje said:

    1. Identify 360'ers
    2. Get close and fast hit (no lunges)
    3. Don't turn, step back so he won't disappear completely from sight.

Problem is that killers have huge blindspot right in front of them for some reason.

I always just go for lunge and turn with them. It works 80% of time but would be nice to have something that work always. I have tried stepping back but for me it does not seem to work. I play on console so it's harder than on pc I believe.

  • @Raccoon said:

Just curious as people seem to be putting themselves through misery day after day.

If you're not having fun, game after game after game (in either role), why would you continue to play?

Genuinely curious, especially if you feel like you fall into this category.

Survivor is fun with friends but alone it's not fun unless killer is bad and you can loop him to oblivion so I play soloQ mostly for challenges. Killer is much more fun and I like to destroy my opponents. But not every match is fun as sometimes you lose.

  • @Tsulan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3050474#Comment_3050474

That is also something nobody talks about, but what I suspect, happens quite often: players that felt miserable during a match, switching roles in an attempt to make others also feel miserable.

When a killer camps&tunnels, survivors only talk about "only killer mains do that" but what if its actually the other way around?

Both are probably true. Survivor mains usually are not good at chasing either so they camp and tunnel more likely but some killer mains use these tactics as well to win.

Hey :) First of all, these are all ideas and suggestions I have thought about and would like to contribute to the Devs. I want to try and keep the ideas/vibes of the addons similar but just make them feel more balanced and valuable. Feel free to discuss and share any other ideas you have!!

I have previously written a separate post regarding a complete addon pass ideas for The Onyro here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3050210#Comment_3050210

Assume that addon rarity remains the same for each respective addon.

    1) The Nurse

Firstly, I feel some of the Nurse's 'meme-like' addons are quite fun and offer some new/unique ways to approach the Nurse, albeit not very strong. However, some of her addons are either pretty overtuned or useless. I'll be mainly focusing on these in the list below:

    Metal Spoon

    • Successfully hitting a survivor with a chain-blink attack causes their aura to be revealed if they are being healed or healing themselves.
    • This effect lasts for 40 seconds.

    Dark Cincture

Reduces Blink Recharge time by 7%

    Bad Man Keepsake

Successfully injuring a survivor with a chain-blink attack inflicts Broken for 40 seconds.

    Fragile Wheeze

Reduces Blink Recharge time by 10%.

    Heavy Panting

    • Reduces the range at which survivors can hear The Nurse's blink to 32 metres.
    • Successfully hitting a survivor with a Blink attack increases The Nurse's field of view by 2 degrees for 20 seconds.

    Anxious Gasp

    • Hitting a successful blink attack causes healthy survivors to scream and reveal their locations for 5 seconds if they are within your terror radius, provided they are not afflicted with the Exposed status effect.
    • Gain 200 Bloodpoints in the Deviousness category when any survivor screams.

    Kavanagh's Last Breath

    • Increases the Nurse's Blink distance and charge time by 5% per every generator completed.
    • Increases the Nurse's movement speed whilst Blinking by 5% per every generator completed.

    'Bad Man's' Last Breath

    • The Nurse is granted the Undetectable status effect whilst charging a blink.
    • Hitting a successful blink attack grants The Nurse the Undetectable status effect for 15/20/25/30 seconds, variable on how many survivors are injured in the trial.
    • This effect has a cool-down of 30 seconds.

    Jenner's Last Breath

    • Press the Active Ability button during a chain-blink to immediately teleport back to the previous location.
    • Hitting a survivor after using Jenner's Last Breath will put them into the dying state.

    Campbell's Last Breath

    • Immediately Blink at half-charge in the direction The Nurse is facing after reappearing from a fully-charged Blink.
    • Increases lunge range after the immediate Blink by 80%.

    Torn Bookmark

The sound of a Blink has no discernible distance or direction.

    Matchbox

Putting a survivor into the Dying state reveals the auras of the last two survivors hit by a blink attack for 7 seconds, excluding the survivor recently put into the Dying state.

    2) The Blight

    Blighted Rat

Increases Rush movement speed by 2% per each consecutive rush.

    Compound Twenty-One

    • After hitting a survivor using Lethal Rush, Compound Twenty-One activates for 40 seconds.
    • Whilst Compound Twenty-One is active, it cannot be reactivated until the original activation duration has finished.
    • Initiating a slam whilst Compound Twenty-One is active reveals the auras all survivors within 8 metres for 3.5 seconds.

    Blighted Crow

Increases Rush movement speed by 4% per each consecutive rush.

    Adrenaline Vial

    • Increases the maximum look-angle during a Rush by 50%.
    • Increases available Rush tokens by 1.
    • Increases Rush movement speed by 2% per each consecutive Rush.
    • Decreases Rush turn rate by 50%.

    Vigo's Journal

    • Gain the Undetectable status effect whilst rushing.
    • Whilst using the last 2 Rush tokens, The Blight moves silently.

(This would be so scary im sorry)

    Summoning Stone

After hitting a survivor with a Lethal Rush, Summoning Stone activates for 16 seconds:

    • All pallets within a 16 metre radius of the survivors' location of health state loss are blocked by the Entity.
    • Survivors within a 5 metre radius of a blocked pallet have their aura revealed for 7 seconds.

    Soul Chemical

    • During a Rush, the moment The Blight comes within 16 metres of a survivor who is repairing a generator or healing, a tremendously difficult skill check will interrupt the action.
    • If the skill check is failed on a generator, the generator is blocked by the Entity for 15 seconds, at which the generator will regress at 200% regression rate. The generator will stop regression after unblocking.
    • If the skill check is failed whilst healing, the survivor being healed is affected by the Hemorrhage status effect until fully healed.

    Alchemist's Ring

    • Successfully hitting a survivor using Lethal Rush will recharge 2 Rush tokens.
    • Decreases the rate at which Rush tokens passively recharge by 15%.

    Compound Thirty-Three

    • The Blight can Rush without having to wait for all Rush Tokens to recharge.
    • Breaking a pallet or breakable wall using Lethal Rush recharges all Rush tokens.

    3) The Spirit

    Kintsugi Teacup

    • Instantly recharges Yamaoka's Haunting after damaging a generator, vaulting a window and breaking a pallet or breakable wall.
    • Reduces the duration of Yamaoka's Haunting by 0.5 seconds.

    Dried Cherry Blossom

    • Increases the volume of Survivors' breathing, grunts of pain and footsteps by 25% during Yamaoka's Haunting.
    • Scratch marks are no longer visible during Yamaoka's Haunting.

    Mother-Daughter Ring

    • Increases movement speed during Yamaoka's Haunting by 40%.
    • Increases The Spirit's terror radius and directional-phase cue radius by 8 metres.
    • Scratch marks are no longer visible during Yamaoka's Haunting.

    Wakizashi Saya

    • During Yamaoka's Haunting, press the Active Ability button to immediately return to the Husk.
    • Survivors within 8 metres of the Husk trigger killer instinct and suffer from the Hindered status effect.

    Mother's Glasses

    • Phasing within 16 metres of a generator triggers a difficult skill check for all survivors repairing the generator.
    • Failing the skill check results in an extra 1% regression to the normal failed skill check reduction.

    Senko Hanabi

Successfully hitting a survivor in a post-phase attack calls on the Entity to block all pallets in a 16-metre radius for 15 seconds.

    Rusty Flute

    • Increases the recharge rate of Yamaoka's Haunting by 25%.
    • Survivors in the Spirit's terror radius are hindered by 2% and suffer from a 10% action speed penalty whilst Yamaoka's Haunting recharges.

    4) The Artist

    Matias' Baby Shoes

The auras of Survivors within 7 metres of an idle Dire Crow are revealed to you for 4 seconds.

    Iridescent Feather

Grants the Undetectable status effect when Birds of Torment is on cooldown.

    Garden of Rot

    • Survivors swarmed by Dire Crows suffer from the Incapacitated status effect.
    • Survivors who complete the Repel action suffer from the Exposed and Incapacitated status effect for 5 seconds.
    • Reduces the maximum amount of Dire Crows by 1.

    Severed Tongue

    • Reduces the duration of which The Artist requires to send Dire Crows into flight by 0.5 seconds.
    • Increases the flight speed of Dire Crows by 20%.

    Severed Hands

    • Any survivor within a 5 metre radius of a survivor which is swarmed will have their aura revealed for 8 seconds.
    • A survivor who performs a healing action or repairs a generator with a swarmed survivor will also be swarmed.

    Ink Egg

    • Increases the maximum number of Dire Crows by 1.
    • Decreases the hitbox size of Dire Crows by 1 metre.

    5) The Hag

    Bloodied Mud

The Hag's lunge range is increased by 30% for 5 seconds after teleporting to a Phantasm Trap.

    Rusty Shackles

    • Phantasm Traps do not spawn mud phantasms.
    • Reduces the trigger range of Phantasm Traps by 20%.

    Grandma's Heart

    • The Hag cannot teleport to Phantasm Traps triggered within a 16 metre range.
    • The Hag can teleport to any Phantasm Traps triggered further than 16 metres away.

    6) The Twins

    Toy Sword

Decreases Pounce charge time by 0.05 seconds.

    Tiny Fingernail

Reduces Unbinding time by 1 second.

    Soured Milk

If a survivor crushes Victor while he is idle, their aura is revealed for 6 seconds.

    Madeleine's Glove

Increases the range at which Victor triggers killer instinct by 6 metres.

    Ceremonial Candelabrum

Increases the amount of time it takes to remove Victor by 2 seconds.

    Cat's Eye

    • Reduces the audio radius of Victor's grunts whilst roaming by 4 metres.

    • Increases movement speed during Pounce cooldown by 5%.
    • Increases movement speed by 7% for 3 seconds after switching to Charlotte.

    Sewer Sludge

    • Increases the amount of time it takes to remove Victor by 3 seconds.
    • Increases the amount of time it takes to kick Victor by 0.5 seconds.

    Rusted Needle

Survivors that remove Victor suffer from the:

    • Mangled status effect for 30 seconds.
    • Hemorrhage status effect until fully healed.

    Victor's Soldier

Survivors suffer from Deep Wound after removing Victor.

    Spinning Top

Pouncing on a survivor causes the survivor to drop and damage their item, losing 20% of its charges.

    Drop of Perfume

    • When survivors are in close proximity to Victor while he is idle, their auras are revealed instead of triggering killer instinct.
    • Survivors in close proximity to Victor while he is idle are afflicted with the Oblivious status effect without being alerted.
    • Victor is silent whilst idle.
    • Victor cannot be idle within 8 metres of any hook.

    Iridescent Pendant

Any survivor within Charlotte's terror radius whilst Victor is being unbound will permanently trigger killer instinct to Victor until switching back to Charlotte.

    ____________

That's all for now, but I'll add more very soon :) feel free to share your opinions and any other ideas you have for any killers!

Where is oni his add ons needs buffs his iri ones are so bad.

  • I used dh, bt, adrealine and ub. Killers where trikster, huntress, nemesis and ph. Well If my teammates would saved me with bt and I would have ds I could survived agains't huntress and ph as there was only 1 gen left which was almost finished in both matches but instead I was farmed off the hook. Other matches I died second hook while trikster and nemesis facecamped.

  • @Raccoon said:

I always see people talking about how it's impossible to get kills, how they're ALWAYS being camped and tunneled, how their teammates are bad, how they always face hit squads, etc.

Why are my games so lax and chill compared to what I'm reading day in and day out?

Maybe yesterday I would somewhat agree but I have had very rough time today in soloQ. Killer thought is not nearly as bad as people say. Today I played 10 games as killer and my worst game was 3 survivors dc:ing and one escaped throught hatch everyone was hooked once and some two times but I was dominating and downing people fast so they could not take it I quess so I ended up with 0K. Other than that I got 3-4K:s thought. Well few 2K games as well when I let the last guys escape.

Honestly I 100% agree with people crying about solo Q, maybe I'm better at killer than survivor, maybe I'm not as good as I think Idk but solo q is painful I'm not having a good time at all.

I just wish I could enjoy both sides and with the killer buffs soon I feel like kindred basekit is not too much to ask for us solo players, I mean I only play solo and I probably escape 3/10 games on average, and because of it I'm not even enjoying when I stomp bad teams as killer because I know how it feels, it doesn't feel like a balanced game every match is a mismatch

Yeah soloQ is miserable I got tunneled and facecamped just now 4 games a row and died to second hook in these game or was farmed off the hook without bt... Usually it's not that bad but today was not my day I can say.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3048359#Comment_3048359

I´m sorry, but the only way to guarantee you, that you won´t get tunneled off hook, would be to play killer yourself.

    @Tsulan said:

Just switch to killer. You´ll soon find out why killers do that.

Or to play another game. When im being tunneled and camped I have bad habit to do that then as killer to payback. Eventhought I still usually manage to play lot fairer than killers I face would be maybe better idea to keep a break. Thought I have evolved recently and play now tombstone myers after rought games...

  • @InnCognito said:

Title says all. Just curious if 5 perk slots for killer will balance against SWF or would it make it more of an issue?

Probably maybe but it would hurt soloQ but I would say there would have to be some limits like you can't use 4 slow down perks and noed cause that would be ridicious.

And I don't even mean this in a disrespectful way it's like a genuine curiosity. When I first started playing the game, I always just kept the crossplay on because I never really saw a reason to turn it off, but then I was like "EGC is kinda dead let me turn off crossplay" and... it was like my mmr got dialed up by 10 in the process.

Now I just realize it so often. Whenever I turn back on crossplay it's like my games are in easy mode. Which I don't really get because, unless I'm missing something it's not like this game is an FPS where the skill difference between MNK and controller should be massive. So I don't get why the skill level just drops whenever I turn crossplay on.

On controller you only aim with one finger while on mouse you aim for you full hand. That causes controller players miss more swings and also cause using some powers to be harder. With pc you can also abuse some bugs like making 180s with oni which was not intended and blight hug tech. They should increase some killers turning rate speciafially on console to make it more even. On survivor there is barely difference only I can think of is that pallets respond better on pc. But actually if we talk about fps games like fortnite there difference between pc and console is much smaller as the game is better optimized for console and there is no unfair advantages pc players can use. Also they have aim assist to help controller players.

Bbq is losing the bloodpoint bonus and it will take a hefty amount out of the bloodpoints you will earn. But some people i know are acting like we will earn half as much bp as before.

    That isn't really the case

Bbq didn't double your bp it just gives you the bp you earned in a match again. You earn bp in more ways then that.

Between offerings, daillies, archive, rank reset rewards, events and random bp codes i beginning to feel bbq's bp bonus was always a bit overrated.

It was good and losing it will be quite a chunk less bp. But probably like 15-20%. Even less with wglf with how much harder it is to get stacks with that perk.

Am i seeing that wrong? The more i think about the more i begin to think bbq's bonus really wasen't that big of a deal as we made it out to be.

Yes you're seeing it wrong it gives me double bp almost always or close to it. So while BHVR says they reduced the grind by 3× that will not be the case after I earn half less bp after the change. And in fact they increased grind now you have to prestigate to level 100 and each time pay 50K bp too...

Saved up about 6 million before the event. Did this through the archives and rank reset rewards.

After that I played either killer or in a swf. Never played much solo q because they wouldn't bring flans every game.

Well how much you updated meg like I think I updated feng a lot and have 20+ every item and some even 40+. I think I easily put 4-5 million bp on my feng at least. Overall I counted and have 1150 cakes for now on my characters. I almost only played killer the event and most matches I got 150-200K bp. But I think it's crazy you got 500+ cakes on one character I don't know how it's possible when I probably played 8 hours+ a day and it was not possible for me.

  • I got 150 flans on my feng and 60 for yun jin lee and 50 for nea. For killers 100 for demogorgon and 80 for dredge and 60 for oni. Other killer I got 30+. Overall I got probably 900 flans to my characters.

  • @CashelP14 said:

Had somewhere over 2000 (cant remember the exact number). After getting my survivors and killers the new perks I put basically everything left into Bubba and Meg. Meg ended up with 600 and 800 for Bubba.

    How you got so many?

  • @KolbyKolbyKolby said:

If you were given the option to toggle 1 or 2 killers that you just don't like for whatever reason, whether balance decisions, or even because they make you sick, would you enable that even if it meant you might add minutes to your queue time if it resets you because the next available killer for your MMR was one you blocked?

I would block nurse and myers if I use cakes as those matches you don't get any bp. Nurse slugs everyone in less than 5 minutes usually and you get 5000 bp and myers can kill you with tombstone very early too as teammates always feed him. Other than that I would never block myers. Sometimes I would block killers if I get same one too many times a row cause I want more variety and face different killers.

  • Myers because tombstone and insta moring survivor reminds me bit of friday 13th game too. Stalking is also kinda fun when they try to hide.

Oni with his power is very fun to play and instadown survivors but once that runs out he is just normal m1 killer.

Trapper is fun with iri add on which set traps so survivors don't expect them and many just run to them.

Nemesis is also fun his testacle break pallets so fast and you can down survivors with it pretty easily if they try to loop.

Dredge: I like grapping survivors from lockers

  • @DyingWish92 said:

Hey devs can we do something about this or we gonna keep Myers as the only killer that can run out of his power. Outdated and stupid. Just got harsh screwed over by this as I had 2 survivors fully juiced out and I couldn't do anything at end game because I couldn't power up to make the dash to the gate interesting.

While we are at it, he needs major base kit buff. Do what you will with his tombstone add ons but man this is annoying that Myers never gets a look over when most of the community knows he needs it.

They should change that his stalk refills slowly so then he never runs out of it. But if myers could infintely stalk one survivor that would be too overpowered and would not be fair for other survivors who didn't feed him at all. I had survivor just watching me when I stalked him with tombstone and infinite add ons. Well basically I won the game at that point but I still had to go stalk the others and waste more time.

  • @Regulus47 said:

When does he actually run out of stalk though? After like 6 or 7 Evil Within 3 procs? At that point if he's gotten that many he's either won the game, the game is over, or multiple people are dead. I don't think it's an issue.

I had this problem when I used tombstone piece and killed the survovors I didn't stalk as much so I could not then stalk and kill the last 2 unfortunately and had to hook them.

    A killer tunneling and camping?

    No way! 😱

Usually they don't tunnel but still many camp the hook. I think still less than 30% of all killers tunnel. Camping is more common maybe around 30-40% of killers do it. Majority of killers play pretty fairly thought. I think if all killers would camp and tunnel itcwould increase kill rates and new update will unfortunately encourage that pop, pr, BBQ nerf and increasing gen times make those stragedies stronger and it's not that worth to leave the hook and also ds is not threat anymore.

tell you what, play a game of killer. Just one. And watch 3 gens pop in 60s

Did you AFK the game that is like heavely exaggerated.

  • @Seanzu said:

I would honestly only call gen rushing, gen rushing if the team is stacking full toolboxes with BNPs and prove thyself.

Currently I get called a gen rusher is the gens get done and the killer applies 0 pressure, like what do you want me to do? Save people you don't hook? Remove totems that aren't active?

I had killer calling us gen rushers when he commited to claudette at the end like 2-3 minutes and we did 3 gens in that time. He didn't put any pressure on us and just chased claudette. He complained he had no fun when we gen rush and used meta perks. He had good start for the match as in first 5 minutes only 1 gen got probably done.

As long as consoles are limited to controllers they are gonna be at disadvantage compared to pc. There is no way to limit mouse and keyboard to do only thing that controllers can without making the game super clunky to play on pc. We should hope they add mouse and keyboard support for consoles as well to even the playingfield.

In fortnite there is not big disadvantage on controlller so why dbd can't do that? They should just increase the mobility on console to same as on pc and cap it. For example oni turna faster on pc and can abuse 180s.

  • Sounds that you're unlucky I escape probably around half of the matches in soloQ for now and get decent teammates who know to do gens. I usually can run killer long enough to give my team time to do them if game is close. Some games I run killer even multiple gens. Some games are just stomps thought were killer kills everyone in less than 4 minutes.

  • I lag a lot on series S in that basement house but overall the game works much better on new gen consoles than with the old ones.

The buff I think you're looking over is that with kindred basekit they'll get an idea of how to play more efficiently. Which gens have been worked on and for how long. Say its late game and you're wondering where your team is so you can slam that last gen. Kindred also gives you that option. There is a possibility it doesnt effect balance but my money is on that it will. If it does killers will need something to compensate.

BBQ as basekit for killer problem solved

You would hold different button (W) and go back to holding first button. I would just have to do another senseless action instead of just chilling waiting for skill check / killer.

You can't make working on gen interesting. This would make those 10 seconds -> same time as you said -> way more annoying imo.

Killer could come to stop you and prevetenting the gen getting done. As that would add secondary object for killer to stop survivors getting those parts.

  • T-bagging is fine but survivors should rather do it when killer is toxic first. Camping and tunneling killers deserve it but however killer who goes for chases and hooks does not deserve it. But there is no way to stop some survivors doing it anyway like there is no way stopping killer from tunneling either. But both are fine I quess.

Hrm. I never paid much attention to Relentless or Merciless as far as status. I only pay attention to 3K+. I get Merciless all the time though and I'm often in Red Ranks long before the end of the cycle.

Good for you now im adepting myers and all I get it ruthless killers now 5 games a row sucks so much even I 4K and 10+ hooks.

Edit: Now I got it with 6th try.

  • @Zachcjjj said:

the past week or so they have been sooooooo long i understood during event because killer gets more bp but like why are they still 10 minutes long?

I noticed this too I used to find match instantly as killer but now it takes more than 2 minutes but as survivor I find match immediatelly.

  • I get bored only playing one side so I switch between. Killer is more stressful so I can't play it too long in a row. I tried to count what percentage I play killer and that would make me very survivor main. I have over 3000 entity sacrifices but I have played this game 1600 hours and average match usually last 15-20 min so I think I have only played killer like 300-400 hours. So that is 20/80 playing survivor. But now that I think about it I have only 990 escapes as survivor and I think I escape almost half of the matches. So that would give me probably around 500 hours on survivor if average match last 15 mins. So actually I think I play 40/60 which sounds more right

  • @Wondertainment said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/332710/merciless-killer-is-imposible-to-get-in-red-ranks

I don't know about almost impossible; that seems an exaggeration. I get it about 1/3 of my games when I'm in the Red Ranks. Those don't really matter either. It is your MMR that counts. Rank just means someone plays a lot that month; it doesn't mean they are good.

Well I should say adepting killer like it is lot easier to get with all the slow down and some aura reading perks but still you have to work hard for it. I got pig adept finally in my 5th try but that is lot when I sweat for it. 3 of my earlier tries were 4K with 8-10 hooks so it's got very frustating for me I count those as loses.

  • @gilgamer said:

Red ranks don't exist anymore my guy, your rank isnt used for matchmaking anymore so it means nothing, so really the problem is that its very difficult to get a perfect game with MMR

In red ranks you are required to get better result for example 3K is enough in lower ranks for merciless killer but even 4K with 12 hooks usually is not enough in red ranks.

1 … 58 59 60 61 62 … 69
