Easy rework: make it a two-way street. You can see the killer's Aura, but they can see YOURS, even if you arent looking at them
-
I always love it when survivors call a killer bad AFTER DYING TO THEM
-
I feel like this would be reasonable if DS deactivated under the following conditions:
- Repairing a generator
- Being healed to Healthy
- Entering a locker
- Unhooking a survivor
If any of those are happening, you are not being tunneled. The killer has zero obligation to eat your stun and is 100% within their rights to leave you on the ground to keep pressure up

Nah man, clearly you're gonna magically fix his lunge JUST for your video :P

No he gets BS hits because it actually happens. I don't need to go KYF. I face different killers every day. So does everyone else here. Do you see people constantly saying Trapper, Wraith, Myers, Plague, Billy, Bubba, Demo, Pyramid Head etc are always getting BS hits on them? No. Its predominately Freddy and Huntress' hatchets.
Why is that? Because that's the truth. Or is your truth that all these people are just making it up for giggles? Is that how you rationalize this? And you say I'm talking about things I know nothing about. Pot, kettle, black.
Now if your only response to this is to just quote his lunge stats again, or give me the whole 'his weapon looks big so it fools you' line, then spare me. If I want to listen to a broken record I'll go find a thread about DS or NOED.
I have every killer unlocked, send me your steam name and I'll compare Freddy to literally any other killer you want in a KYF.

Yeah that's right. All those people are making it up. Every single one them. Its a giant conspiracy. You got us. You're far too clever for us to fool. Damn. We've been rumbled, guys. Stats never lie.
Hearsay does NOT equal evidence. I sincerely hope you never go into law.

Myer's has a longer lunge in T3, can I have free money now :P

Lol yeah on paper he does.
There's no "on paper" about it. The ONLY modified lunges are Myers' T1(shorter), T3(longer) and Nurse's Blink (shorter, iirc)

Generally the Facecamp Bubba build is as follows:
- Iron Grasp
- Agitation
- Insidious
- Mad Grit/Monstrous/NOED, depending on the flavor of bubba

You lost all credibility the instant you tried to put Legion and Clown on the same level as Freddy.

Fair point, but isn't that what Overcharged is for?
The types of survicors that gen tap mid-chase generally have zero issue hitting the skillcheck as they run so it's mostly useless

Your counters require the DS player to make a mistake. If a DS always shoots or always fakes, then he's not playing well
The killer is the power role, assuming the killer player is on an equal or better skill level compared to the survivor, the odds should favor the killer, simply because there are 4 survivors and only 1 killer

Deliverance won't be on every character you want to play as that has your best set up.
Luck offerings are 99.9% pointless.
Deliverance WILL be on every character if you want to get off the hook free. If you don't have it, run Slippery Meat and bring a good luck offering.

4 survivors 5 gens 1 killer 12 objectives. the math doesn't add up.
"Gen rush" is the term used to describe the fact that gens are just to fast to do. What else would you call it?
There are no slow down perks that don't require the killer to do something. This means the killer can only pressure a single generator at any point in the game if survivors are not urban evading in a corner because they heard a heart beat.
Pop, i need to reach the gen to do anything with it, something that 2 man gens prevent way to many times.
ruin, does nothing if you don't let go. The killer can't force 4 survivors off the gens at once can he?
Corrupt intervention can be completely ignored if survivors are not stupid (sadly they are)
Thrilling tremors requires the survivor to let go of the generator and is short.
Tana requires all survivors to be injured and is still negligible even during the rare moments it is at full strength.
Nothing forces the gens to slow down.
I don't think anybody actually runs Thrilling as a slowdown perk, people run it to see which gens are being worked on

Bruh his max range is 18 meters

@MadLordJack said:
And if he had hit you, like any skilled Deathslinger would? Sure, you can juke a bad one... But you can juke any bad killer. At the end of the day, you played a guessing game against an impatient killer with terrible aim.
That's how the balance is supposed to work. The killer is the power role. In a situation where the killer and survivor are of equal skill, the killer should ALWAYS get the upper hand simply because he's outnumbered 4 to 1.
-
@PigMainClaudette said:
Yeah, it's a nightmare but ThEiR job Is To KiLl. People can easily pip without a single kill, but those 4 skulls at the end screen are apparently more important than actual fun.
You can also pip without escaping, but that little door at the end screen is apparently more important than actual fun
-
You're blowing the perks way out of proportion.
- Dragon's Grip is easy to counter by simply waiting 30 seconds, which only takes 7 seconds of active repairing to make up for, plus 20 seconds to make up for pop. A good killer will almost never kick a generator without pop, so you can assume that any regressing generators are unsafe for roughly 40 seconds after a survivor is hooked(allowing 10 seconds for the killer to beeline to a gen and kick it).
- Blood Favor is countered the same way as literally any other anti-loop mechanic: drop the pallet early. If you DO get hit, just run to the next loop to have a functioning pallet, it has a fairly lengthy cooldown.
- Undying's Aura Reading isn't actually that good unless you are actively cleansing the totem, as you can be long gone by the time the killer reaches you, assuming they're even looking in your direction when it procs.
-
To be fair, Desperate measures ONLY affects healing and unhooking, while Thana affects basically everything. I do thing Desperate Measures should be 10% max though, it being so high worries me that we might see the "heal in the attack cooldown" tech return if everybody is injured
-
The only totems that would really be problematic (Devour, Third Seal and Lullaby) get gimped by this perk anyways because they lose all their stacks if they move. Ruin is a joke now because it does literally nothing if you just hold M1 on a gen and is STILL half as fast as a repairing survivor at level 3. Even the new hex perk that blocks pallets is countered by using windows, which most good survivors use anyways because they can't be broken.
-
Deathslinger and Pyramid Head have nearly identical counters: keep obstacles between you and hold W to the next loop
-
@Aneurysm said:
You're not helping the case for stealthy survivors by equating them with the blendette playstyle. I can evade the killer while doing objectives while wearing neon cosmetics. Playing as a black character with dark clothes, crouching in corners and bushes and being generally useless is brainless and you should be moried every match for doing so.
The killer can see you, they're just ignoring you. No killer is gonna chase the neon survivor because 9 times out of 10 they WANT to be chased because they're a god looper.

This isn't a bubba thread, stop trying to fix your bruised ego and stay on topic, but thank you for solidifying my point that people who main easy killers are just in general toxic people, the "but what about me attitude" is really demonstrating that to a T.
Learn to loop, window vaults absolutely kill Bubba as he can't chainsaw through them

It’s the frames that make the difference. When you get hit with sloppy butcher and you lose frames and end up running into a wall just to go immediately down. Or when a skill check pops up and it skips 90% of it because it lost frames. That’s what makes the difference. Meanwhile the Pc players watch their skill check glide over like butter knife drenched with butter on toast. Controller has nothing to do with it.
Don't worry, skillchecks are just as whack on PC
-
Keep breaking LOS and run for the next loop ASAP, neither of them have any mobility whatsoever, so holding w hard counters then if theres obstacles between you.

Wow, This Idea Is Cool And Has Never Been Brought To My Head But Some Problems Might Go With This Like-
P3 Lv.50 Killer\Survivors That Have So Much Rare And Very Rare Stuff Its Not Even Human.
And Probably One Of The Biggest Problems With This: Ace In The Hole,
This Perk Would Be A Problem Because Combine It With Up The Ante And Plunderers Instinct And That Could Be a Problem.
That sounds like a good thing, 2 perk slots that don't have second chance perks. God knows the meta needs to be shaken up a bit...

@Primalux135 I will explain you why:
-Swf have the other way around of playing solo with noobs, which sucks.
-Instant changes suck? Oh, poor baby killer that cannot use his boring Franklin! I am gonna cry for you.
-Hatch RNG based? And so, that can affect negatively survivor, tho. That alone shows you do not think about the other side at all (or very little).
-"Crutch perks": killers do not have boring perks, right? Franklin, NOED, this is all fine... Yea in your head because your a killer main that can only see the side that favors him, so yea they are fine in your eyes. And decisive&borrowed might be run because of tunnelers and not to be toxic.
Franklins is far from weak, you never see it outside of a Bubba. NOED is not even remotely OP because if it's rewarding a baby killer, there should be MORE than enough time to pop all 5 totems before the final gen pops. If it's a GOOD killer, than you probably would've died anyways so who cares?

@kiku said:
kicking starts regressing
tapping sets it to "neutral"
sitting on it makes it progress
Saying it's unfair that tapping leads to "neutral"state is, i'd say, the same thing as saying: killers just kicking it once and not staying by it to regress it like survivors have to, to progress, is unfair. Well overall this is quite pointless anyway, cuz when they change it to, let's say... one second, survivors will still be able to "not tapp" it in a chase, and i doubt they will change it to more than one sec.
The difference is that killers need to take several seconds to begin regression, while survivors barely need one frame to stop it.

For NOED to be denied they would have to have been able to do all gens and all totems. If that happens than you were completely out matched. So if you lose your NOED because of that. Somebody just made you there SUB.
NOED is not over powered. But it's absolutely used as a crutch. And I would say that running NOED is smoll pp.
You literally just admitted that NOED can be denied by cleansing the totems, so how is it a crutch? Survivor crutches can't be denied, only played around, which is why they are crutches

Just because you are an achievement junkie doesn't mean you don't like one side more than the other.
But like others have said, it makes no sense for the devs to purposely sabotage the game for the sake of a few high rank killers.
You turned it into a killer vs survivor battle, not me.
They literally have the single hardest achievement in the game for killers besides Evil Incarnate and you STILL think they're biased towards survivors?

Before the hotfix, it was a well-known feature among billy players. If you look up billy videos you're sure to see it be used somewhere. During the stun animation, the charge meter didn't reset, it just went down over time as if you stopped holding M2. So if you had Enduring, you would have some charge left after the pallet stun which you could use to start your sprint quicker.
Sounds more like a bug than a feature tbh

I was focusing more on the tiers of the perks. Also, Bitter Murmur+NOED is a very "old school", yet effective combo. It'd explain the rank 20 as well.
When you have a total of ten-ish perks to pick from, you get to max tiers fairly quickly.
