Funny enough tydetyme has a series that shows what other people do when not being chased by the killer. Like him or not it shows most people struggle with doing gens and a 2nd objective would probably be too much for noobs https://youtu.be/Gj7VNchEOyc
No competent developer balances around the noobs, people seem to forget that. Good developers, such as Valve, balance things around the HIGHEST level of play instead of the LOWEST

It would be neat, but that sort of thing is hard to force with the procedural generation of the game. We do keep this in mind when we're dealing with "landmarks" (unique tiles that always spawn in the same place). Again, referring back to Hawkins, the generator upstairs in the offices was very intentionally designed. It takes a long time for the killer to check since it's all the way upstairs and there's no shortcut, but it also has very limited LOS and it's basically a deathtrap (weak pallet and weak windows only) if you get caught up there. Limiting it to one person gives the killer a longer window to get there and defend it if they choose to protect it.
Since that area is exactly the same every time, we can plan around it. This isn't really possible for most maps, though, since the procedural generation of maps makes it pretty much impossible to do this for all tiles. You're bound by how many spots are accessible on the tile the generator spawned on.
Honestly the easiest fix would likely be to just REMOVE the procedural generation. If the tiles have no RNG, you can make sure that everything is balanced. Just drop the gens, chests, etc on random tiles. As an added bonus, totem issues would also dissapear

It’s objectively killer sided. The stats and data prove this.
You mean the stats and data that the devs confirmed to be innaccurate?

spine chill should give you an aura of the killer not just activate. Seems kinda weak in my opinion.
Maybe not aura reading, but possibly a survivor version of Killer Instinct

DBD: "We need to rework the Doctor, he is too annoying for old and new players."
Also DBD: Worsens the Doctor and make him twice if not tripple as annoying.
Use Calm Spirit or hide in lockers to avoid his shocks. Drop pallets early to avoid getting stunned, just like Clown or Freddy.

First thing you need to do is get out of the mindset of not wanting to use specific perk builds. If your name isn't Spirit, you need at least one or two specific perks to make Killers excel. STBFL is just objectively god-tier on him. The thing you need to remember about Shred is that it only works well when the survivor is forced to go in one direction. This ironically makes the Killer Shack the worst place to be against him. If you chase a survivor into the shack through the entrance opposite the pallet, its a free shred or pallet drop if you time it right. Landing Shred in the open is similar to Huntress's hatchets, you'll have better results if you take a moment to see how the survivor responds to charging a shred. If they start juking, just cancel the shred and move in for an M1. Demo also happens to be one of the only killers who can make full use of Devour Hope. As Otz showed in one of his videos, you can place a portal on DH but leave it off until somebody touches it on BBQ or you hit 3 stacks. Pop/MYC are incredible on him because you can teleport to a gen/hook and immediately capitalize on the instadown/regression. The addons I tend to run are pumpkin/guts and rat liver/tail. Despite what people say, Leprose Lichen is suprisingly good if you can keep survivors injured, as the aura reading is global as long as you have LOS. I also tend to like running Dying Light, as it HEAVILY synergizes with STBFL as they both need you to ignore the obsession, and Demo will almost never lose stacks if you can aim your shred properly.

Devour would obviously be removed entirely, instadowns would likely need some tweaking as well

I’m actually partially blind in one eye. So that’s offensive. Maybe try thinking about what you say before you post.
Use the other eye 4head /s

Yes please, a "Survival Mode" would be perfect to get rid of the "Hold M1 to win" malarkey. The god-loopers can still loop, and we Killers can finally see our moris without using moris or DH

I don't like No Mither it's one of the most useless perks in the game
It's passable in an injured build with Resilience, Iron Will, and Spine Chill/Dead 'Ard

I had something similar happen! Except...
All the gens were done, and I was being chased by the Demogorgon. One other survivor, a Bill, was left. I led this Demo on a chase more than long enough for a gate to get opened. I finally started running towards the gate Bill must be at, hoping I'd see the EGC timer start any second. I got through the corn and I saw...
Nothing. Not a single red light. Bill hadn't even touched the door. I just came to a stop and turned and looked at the Demo. The Demo stopped, turned in a circle looking around, looked at me, and then just walked away. He let me open the door and escape.
Seeing the Demo looking around visibly confused is one of my favorite moments in a match ever.
(It's bad when even the killer is like, 'Sorry your teammate screwed you over.' And yeah, it is sooo upsetting when teammates don't open an exit gate.)
Did the Demo kill the Bill?

Do the gens, they get nothing from the deal

That matchmaking isn't even bad. Do people expect the people they go up against to always be within 1-3 levels or something?
Uhh.. yes? Why even have a ranking system if the matchmaking isnt going to take it into account?

Unsafe pallets would still be unsafe. Just made a lil bit more of a mindgame then "oh he's vaulting rn I'll just rotate and whack him". That's not a mindgame thats just the killer being faster then the survivor and reaching around a loop tbh. Sure you can mindgame it, but the killer has most of the control there.
Yes, because the Killer is SUPPOSED to be the power role, but the devs have forgotten that
-
Not bannable, the game can be ended. If he trapped ALL of you, THEN it would be bannable

Yeah it's fun to play as survivor and hold one button then get hit down with a skilled killer with noed.
Do bones, problem solved

Did I forget to physically write the IMPLIED "Compared to other killers"?
And yes, I acknowledge curving. Also, no I will not play in red ranks. I am not that sweaty. I am talking about chainsawing someone who is 5m in front of you.
You just killed your own argument. Games are supposed to be balanced around the most skilled players, NOT the least.

Honestly being in a locker should be like that one trailer, switch to a 1st person view looking out the slats

I guarantee you there would be a huge uproar if they got survivors doing totems because then killer mains would lose their NOED. They’ll complain its worthless and needs a buff.
They don’t want survivors doing totems. They want their free kill perk.
You are objectively wrong. We got a very strong incentive to do bones two chapters ago with the Stranger Things DLC giving Inner Strength. I didn't hear a SINGLE Killer complain about it

Imagine having access to Slowdown perks, Exhaustion add ons, Spirit Fury + Enduring, PGTW + Ruin + Thana + Dying Light and calling survivors tryhards for using the ONLY viable perks against red rank killers.
But go off I guess
Imagine thinking Thana and Dying Light are crutch perks lmao

Honestly, just deal with it. A 3K is a win in my book. If you're THAT worried about it, slug the 3rd guy. Bonus points if you use knockout and/or deerstalker.
-
Goodbye forever then. Not trying to be a jerk, but matchmaking has ALWAYS been aids, and likely will never be fixed. At this point I think the system should just get scrapped and toss all the players in a blender to remove the illusion of fair matchmaking.

It's because all the Killers are leaving. Hence Killer queues are nearly instant
