Like @dugman said, there's honestly, quite a few selections that can come about and, I basically agree with a lot of what they said.
F13 is a possibility but, I still can't see it just quite yet because, despite the fact that the legal issues are now over, now, comes the "how do we actually split the money?" side which, oh boy, seeing how long it took to actually sort the legal stuff out who knows how long that's gonna be. Still, it does have a decent shot though.
I fully agree with what Dug said about FNAF, insanely popular and almost never-ending requests for it.
IT is one that even MCote wants but, it just seems like the IP holders themselves don't want to do for whatever reason. That said, if there was any a time, it would be during a anniversary chapter.
Alien would be fantastic but, it's Disney and, from what I've heard, you don't go to Disney for possible collabs, no, they go to YOU for it. BHVR has done work in the past for them but I'm just not sure if they're on Disney's radar right now but, they do seem to want to have Alien live on when it comes to video games and they even have a new series coming out so, here's hoping! Also, come on @AngyKiller, acting like 12 year old's or, at least, people who act like 12 year old's, don't play the game already! xD

The forums have become the butt of a lot of the jokes that me and my friends make so, yeah, I just don't take this place seriously at all, not after how people go at each others throats over something as stupid and simple as what chapter they think could be coming next/want.

Iron Will is arguably one of the strongest perks in the game. It basically negates one of the main aspects almost all killers rely on when trying to track and search out for survivors. Unless you're Nemesis or Plague then, well, IW means nothing to you but that's just 2 killers out of 26.

I would love to see a Little Nightmares killer in a paragraph. I think the Lady would work the best and the chefs could be skins for clown
I think quite a few of the characters from LN2 could also work pretty good, the man in the suit comes to mind instantly but the hunter also seems like quite the pick.

!.) Springtrap(I'd especially love his SB design) from FNAF
2.) A Necromorph from Dead Space
3.) A Outlast character, I'd specifically like the Doc from the first game
4.) A Bioshock Big Daddy
5.) The Evil Within would also be a great choice, I'd love quite a bit of those characters
BONUS! I'd also love to see Little Nightmares but, I don't know how they'd bring in any of those enemies.

Not much at all, community is still at each others throats over anything. From ideas on how to improve the game all the way to hating each other over what Chapter people want in the future. :/

I forgot to mention this in my original post but, if you're feeling that drained by either the game or, especially, the community, I suggest taking a extended break. It's always for the best to take breaks from things because, even if you 100% LOVE whatever it is you're playing, you'll get very burned out of said game and then you'll probably just drop it all together.

Oh trust and believe, you're not alone. I've slowly have been trying to distance myself from the "community" because of just how nasty some of the people can be. It's not fun to see almost constant moaning about everything and anything, now, does BHVR deserve it sometimes? Like any other company, yup, they do but the never-ending harping on topics or even just simply taking huge dumps on people that want or would like something different then what you want(like @QwQw said, just look at the most recent FNAF post if you want your mind to be numbed) is just, as you said, draining as hell.
However, the really harsh reality of the matter is, this isn't just a DBD community issue(though, yeah, it is QUITE awful) it's pretty much any "fandom" or "community" you get into. All of them have their bad apples and drama that's included. That's kinda why I'm taking a more "hands off" approach to whatever community these days. Just really watching the people I like and talking with those I actually care about then trying to get into a lot of "conversations" on these forums, Twitter or whatever because, that's not really a conversation but more along the lines of a argument that ultimately, at best, you'll end up at a "agree to disagree" standpoint.

As a lot of people pointed out already, he's kind of the definition(to me at least) of a killer that's unfun to play against but kinda fun to actually play as. Plus, some people think he doesn't "fit" DBD for whatever that's worth.

I'd also adore a Until Dawn chapter! The one and only reason I didn't put it up there is because Sony. Sony does NOT want to play ball and share when it comes to having most of their stuff be on multiple different platforms. They've JUST started to change that but, it's only with their own mega IP's like GOW and Horizon. I hope it happens one day, I really do but, I'm not going to set my hopes too high.

Some other licenses that I think would be fun but I'm skeptical would be picked up
- Chucky - Chucky is a great bad guy, but I just don't know how they'd do it mechanically. Victor is in the ballpark of a really tiny killer, with Chucky it would be playing as Victor all the time. They'd have to work up new hook animations or something, since obviously he can't hook people using the usual animation, and I have no idea what his ability would actually be. 🤷♂️ If he shows up, great! But I have trouble seeing how.
- Phantasm - The Tall Man from Phantasm who runs the mortuary with sinister steel flying pinballs of doom. He's be a great killer in this game, he's got the look and an ability that fits right in mechanically. And he's a cult film fan favorite. I can maybe see him maybe getting picked up someday, but Phantasm just isn't a big enough title I don't think for an anniversary release.
- Final Destination - This one is a pipe dream of mine. Play a "killer" which is actually an invisible avatar that is capable of manipulating the environment and props to kill survivors. It would be a tough construction mechanically so I doubt it would ever happen, but boy could it be fun if they figured out a way to do this type of killer!
- Supernatural - This is an IP I'd love to see in the game. Winchesters as survivors, a Demon as a killer, The Bunker as a map. The thing is I suspect that if the license holders were interested in cutting a deal with DbD they might have done it already, the show was actually still on the air when DbD came out and they had plenty of time to work it out. Now that it's off the air and there's no particular buzz for the show I'm sadly doubtful it would ever get picked up. 🙁
- The Thing - A shapeshifting killer that can mimic survivors and do really creepy attacks, etc, could be pretty cool. Mimicking a survivor on its own sounds like something a swf would defeat, but when you consider that being a mimic implies persistent Undetectability (because obviously you have no red stain or terror radius while disguised as a survivor) that alone would give the killer a nice effect to play with. Basically that's half of Ghostface's kit all on its own! They'd just need to find something else as a good secondary ability to beef the killer up. Either way, though, the chances of the license being picked up are already a bit slim, and then top it off with questions of how to do it justice mechanically and I don't see it happening. (But I still hold out hope for a mimic killer someday, albeit maybe an original one!)
- Jeepers Creepers - The killer could fit in well, but I hear that IP is a legal nightmare. Seriously doubt it will ever happen.
- Slender Man - I could see this being picked up someday maybe? I don't know how big a name it is as a license.
- Candyman - They've had a few opportunities to pick up Candyman and it hasn't happened so far. And they missed the window with the Candyman film in 2021, that would have been the optimal time to do a deal with that character.
- A Quiet Place - Another contender to replace Demogorgon, the aliens from A Quiet Place definitely fit the part in terms of their look and theme. Seems like it would be a longshot to get the license though maybe.
- Dracula - Dracula or any similar vampire killer could be cool. That being said, it feels like if they had wanted a vampire they would have done one already, they certainly wouldn't need the Dracula license from Universal to do it.
- Carrie - I could almost see Carrie being in this game. She sort of fits the same broad theme as Spirit, a young woman who was wronged and is lashing out in anger. Telekinetic attacks obviously would be the mechanic. Could be interesting but feels like a long shot as a license.
- Evil Dead - They've already got Ash from Evil Dead, so they have an in. But who would the killer be? A generic zombie or whatever wouldn't cut it. And I don't even remember who the recurring bad guy from the show would be (Lucy Lawless I think was a heavy?) Also I suspect if they were going to do an Evil Dead related killer they would have done it simultaneously with Ash.
- Dead Silence - Or really any evil ventriloquist and their dummy. The Twins already kind of fill this genre though, even if Victor isn't dressed in a tuxedo. 🤷♂️
- Predator - Certainly fits the bill in terms of hunting people down as trophies. Seems pretty overpowered as a killer though for the theme, if they ever brought him in the Entity would have to clip his claws a bit.
Damn, I always like to see another person who dives in deep when it comes to licenses. Big ups from me and, yeah, I gotta be 100% honest, I fully agree with you on Candyman. Do I think He's still a possibility? Yup, I do, but, there were some pretty obvious times in which I think a Candyman chapter would've fit and made a lot of sense but, it just never happened. Oh and also, you might know already but, Predator is also currently going through the same legal court battle that F13 went through so, that dampens it quite a bit, however, they are also making a new movie to keep the copyright in check so, who knows, the Predator franchise is in a weird spot right now. :/

I know in the past they HAVE done original content for the anniversary's but, ever since they've made a big deal about it, they've been licensed properties. So, I think this is going to be no different and, another thing, since the two last years have been video game properties and have been VERY successful, I really think they'll be doing that for a third time. I have three VG IP's that I think could be up for it. In order they probably go.
- Dead Space- Since the Dead Space franchise is getting kicked back up with quite a big remake and it's not going to have multiplayer of any sort, I could see EA making a deal with BHVR to have a bit of cross promotion. The big issue is, well, EA. EA is known to be straight up asshats when it comes to working with others and they are insanely greedy. To add onto that, BHVR and EA have no previous track record of working together at all so it's much harder to make connections that way.
- The Evil Within- I know there is hype behind this idea but it's not as strong as some other options but, simply put, it would probably be easier to get then quite a few options. Since BHVR have worked with Capcom already and there are still people working there with connections to Shinji Mikami(original creator of RE) they probably have a quick way to get in touch with Shinji. Getting the OK with him and Bethesda and now Microsoft is a 100% different story. Especially since they'd have to talk about making it multiple platform with Microsoft which, they seem mostly fine with, Sony, however, probably wouldn't like the idea of a now Microsoft owned IP splitting even more of the profits then it would've with just BE owning the IP. It's a lot of murky water around it but, who knows, the world of licensing is a strange one.
- Five Night's at Freddy's- A lot probably saw this coming but, I really think FNAF has it's biggest chance of being the anniversary chapter then ever. It's coming off of it's biggest game ever with a completely new design for Afton, the backing behind it is gigantic, the amount of demand going around at the time of Chapter 21's release was probably way too loud for both parties to not hear and, the biggest thing is, it would make a TRUCKLOAD of money, just like how the last two video game anniversary chapters did.
That's just some of my thoughts though, at this point, who knows. I just REALLY hope that they don't reveal it multiple months ahead of time like they've done with quite a few of the recent licensed chapters. Just takes so much of the fun out of anticipation because there's zero speculation.

I only really use it for getting across the map quicker or throwing it on a downed survivor for a cheeky quick hook.

Friday the 13th: while the lawsuit is over they now need to work out how the franchise will be shared. Until that's figured out i don't think it'll happen.
It: some of the devs have talked about how it is their dream chapter (similair to hellraiser). They did try to get it after the first movie came out but were turned down. But that was a few years ago and things might have changed so who knows?
Child's play: the new chucky series has seen been rather popular bringing with it new found interest in the liscence so it might happen. The only problem is that he might just be very hard to make work in the game due to his height.
Predator: talked about as much as alien is. Right now the original screenwriters are suing to get rights back. Bhvr might try to liscence it from disney before they lose the rights, similar to how they liscensed hellraiser from park avenue before the rights would shift back to clive barker. Has about as much chance ascan alien chapter honestly.
Also candyman should absolutely be on this list.
You're 100% correct, I just completley forgot about Candyman. I was just kinda firing blanks when it came to the 10th spot. My mind just kinda went to Predator though, yeah, there's been a lot of buzz around him around the anniversary chapter time so, that's my bad. Just wish they'd have more then just 10 options. :/

I honestly voted yes to be a smartass because of just how much I LOATHE that map but, at this point in time, I feel like Haddonfield is going to need a complete, from the ground up re-work in order for it to become even decent.

I got the Silver Eyes a long time ago when I still played FNAF. I stopped though so I gave it to my brother who likes FNAF. Wasn't a bad read though.
Yeah, my friends kinda know me as "the FNAF guy" because I just love it so much. lol
Haven't got the stuck into it properly yet, really been going in and some of the Fazbear Frights stories I got from my local library. Quite a lot of fun those ones are, though, some of those stories get REALLY nutty. I am looking forward to reading Silver Eyes though and the rest of the novels eventually, here there quite good.

Congrats on the Quest 2, I recently bought a HP Reverb G2... that doesn't fit my PC. ;_;
Anyways, I got quite a bit but, I'll shave it down to my top four favorite items.
- A four pack of Jones Green Apple Soda which is extremely rare where I live and I LOVE the stuff so, was quite happy to see that.
- A pair of silk pajamas, which, have Scooby-Doo characters on it.
- A 1 pound gummy T-Rex!
- My favorite item I got though probably has to be the FNAF Silver Eyes graphic novel. Was not expecting that one at all.
I hope to anyone that sees this, you all had a good Christmas or, if you don't celebrate Christmas then, hope that your Holiday was nice. :)

To be upfront, no, not really, the only times I'm actually having "fun" with DBD anymore is when I'm playing/chatting with friends while playing it but, that's FAR less the game actually being entertaining to me and just, well, getting to hang out with friends.

Of course I want it to happen, I feel like 95% of the community wants it but, the thing is, yes, the lawsuit is over BUT they are still negotiating how to split the money from now on when it comes to a lot of different aspects. So, seeing as how long it took because of just how stubborn Sean was over a lawsuit, I can't even imagine how long it's going to take just to find "a happy middle ground" to split future profits. At this rate, will probably see F13 or, just simply Jason, as the anniversary chapter for year 8.

For the most part, matches against hackers are a lost cause because, well, it's a hacker, they can legit do anything they want to you pretty much, so, even getting someone in a match against one of those people and their pathetic tools is just beautiful.

I feel like the biggest downside to him is just how RNG dependent his entire power is. That's, personally, why I feel like a lot of people just don't play him all too often.

Maybe I'm just not too knowledgeable on the series(I'm really not) but I can't think of any survivor from them that really jumps up and screams "I must be added" so, I think it'll be another single killer with a survivor released shortly afterwards. That's just pure speculation though and, as I said, I don't know much about the franchise so, grain of salt and all that.

I'm both happy to see it but, at the same time, VERY surprised to see it announced so early on. The even more shocking thing is, this isn't even the anniversary chapter, that's Chapter 24 I believe so, what do they have planned for that and is that ANOTHER licensed chapter? If it is, as much as I love seeing licensed content get added into DBD even I have to admit, they've been pumping out so much more licencsed content as of late.

There are a few diamonds to be found within the rough but, overall, nope, this community has so many entitled, gatekeeping and arrogant players that it just astounds me. Then again, the harsh truth of the matter is, no matter what community or fanbase you get into or will ever look at, it's all pretty bad at the end of the day sadly. :/

I'd be perfectly ok with Siren Head getting into DBD, he's cool but, to be outright honest, I think a MUCH better and cooler option would be to collab with Trevor Henderson to come up with a unique new monster for DBD.

After watching quite a lot of different gameplay on VHS, I still say that, no, VHS will not kill DBD at all. Will it put a dent in the numbers, that's a possibility but DBD and VHS are VERY different styles of games. The only real similarity I can see are that it's asymmetrical and that it has some window vaults. I think if VHS is able to actually stick around where quite a few others have(sadly) failed, both games can coexist and take inspiration from each other and make each other better in the long run.

I still play to have fun but, if I'm being 100% upfront and honest with everyone, I personally really am only being kept interested by the licensed content that can be brought into the game. Yes, the original content is cool but it just doesn't hold the same interest for me and if they said tomorrow that they'd no longer be going for anymore licenses then well, I'd still probably play but not very often and probably wouldn't be buying much of anything anymore unless they really came out with something that tickled my fancy like a giant spider or something.

I'd honestly love to see the the Swamp Monster from "How to kill a Monster" but, more specifically, the TV series version. The book/movie version is kind of(for me) a bit on the boring side.
