  • Even though I don't think it's THAT important. I'd still love to see his happen one day. It's just a nice thing to see just how you're gradually improving on something.

  • I'll say this and leave it at this, it's a bunch of political jargon that makes people jump the gun and that's all I'll say.

  • A lot of hogwash and, just a warning, I have seen comments get removed and even accounts banned for talking and touching upon the subject so, it's probably best if we just leave it alone.

  • Here's a good early April Fools joke... the DBD community! :D

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYVO5bUFww0
    Spoiler Spoiler Warning ▲▼

This is not to be taken seriously at all.... though I really do think the community is complete ass. :/ As long as others enjoy it though then, more power to them. :)

  • Out of these choices, EASILY Alien. I've never seen Beetlejuice but, hope to actually fairly soon. The Walking Dead has lost a lot of my interest but, I'll always love Lee and Clementine. Candyman is the definition(to me) of I'm tired of hearing about him and kinda want him added in some way, shape or form to finally stop hearing about him, that said though, I'm not one of those people who will sit here and say "nO, tHiS sHoUlD nevER bE aDDeD to tHe GaME beCAUSE I DoN'T wANt iT"!!! No, that's silly, just as how I felt with Hellraiser, I know there have been a lot of people who've been waiting on that chapter so, if we get it then, awesome, I'm happy that those people finally got their chapter.

I mean, my top three right now are F13, Alien and FNAF. Resident Evil would've been up there but, well, it was added. So, those three would just be icing on the cake really. :)

  • I forgot to comment on this on so, making up for it.

I've always loved Tommy as a character because, well, to be brutal here for a second, he's really the only character in the F13 franchise to get some actual long term development. Plus, Thom Mathews seems like a great guy and nailed his part so, yeah, gotta go with Jason's arch nemesis.

  • I like the idea of a token system kind of like STBFL but in reverse. You start out with max tokens but, each time you swing you eat up stacks and maybe hooking people brings some back or, you could still keep the whole gens being popped aspect but it only gives you a select few back.

  • Shadow Step I feel is very slept on. It's honestly gotten me out of a lot of situations. Slap on Iron Will plus Shadow Step and boy, that's a nightmare on the killer's end.

  • Don't drink BUT I do drink something probably just as unhealthy, energy drinks. Nos to be specific.

  • Barely, like, I know I've gotten them but, man, I can't recall any out of recent memory. xD

  • Yeah, I'm sorry but, poor Claire's face being in permanent duck mode just looks so strange! xD

  • I(thankfully) haven't had to deal with many cheaters. Or, at the absolute least, I've only seen a few who didn't even remotely try and hide it. For all I know, I could have multiple upon multiple cheaters that only boost their speed up to like, 102 or 103% as Survivor. No matter what though, it just astounds me that people are just that sad to have to use cheats in order to win. :/

  • I'm not sure if this counts but, I honestly really do like how Deadlock works. It feels like, if I'm playing a killer with low mobility or is 110% movement speed, I can actually get to the other side of the map where the gen is being blocked and protect it or use pop or whatever without feeling super pressured.

If that doesn't count ass a "info" perk then, Lethal Pursuer is also just a very handy tool to get into a immediate chase.

  • I won't lie, this isn't me looking at this from a "want" perspective, this is me looking at it from a business perspective. I feel like they're going to want to add voice lines and the such more towards legendary skins in order for people to feel incentivized to go and buy those skins.

  • I feel like Scarecrow has probably the best potential when it comes to both design and power wise. Power wise, it would of course have to revolve around his toxins causing sever hallucinations. Maybe possibly seeing other killers in the distance, a gen disappearing or a gen popping up in a really random spot you wouldn't expect and it turns out to be fake and spiders or something start crawling out of it, stuff of that nature. Design wise, well, we've seen many interpretations of what he's looked like in the past. My fav being the design from Injustice 2 so, having something of that nature would be awesome to see in DBD.

  • I don't know what it is about Pig but, I just don't have really any kind of fun going against her. I think it comes form a lot of bad blood I've had with Pig's just hat tunneling me at 5 or 4 gens for, I don't know what reason. :/ The main reason though is, I just don't find RNG very fun to engage with when it comes to the actual power itself.

  • As much as I HATE Hag, I honestly don't think she needs any changes as of right now.

  • I'm personally really enjoying it. Saves my poor keyboard from getting it's keys mashed. :>

  • It's time to move on from the whole "blood cap" system I feel. It made sense when there was about 20-30 perks but, now there's nearly 200, yeah, time to say goodbye to that old system.

  • Deserves it just as much as any other property. To me, the only IP that doesn't deserved to even be looked at, AT ALL, is Jeepers Creepers. ######### Jeepers Creepers.

  • Another one that I'd like to see is possibly Pumpkinhead, despite how little I think that will happen. :(

  • Demo is easily the best choice. After all, he IS best boi! :>

I honestly keep coming back because I just plain love the game, but out of the options here, the "completion" one best applies.

I'm not interested in P3ing anyone but my mains (which I've done already), but I'm pretty much forced to buy all the perks once I reach the bloopoint cap, because like... why the hell would I willingly stop my bloodpoint gain lol? Plus it might give me an excuse to buy more characters.

Well, here's hoping that, thanks to the recent news, they could possibly be looking at extending that BP cap, or, hopefully, outright removing it.

  • To be honest, I voted Freddy just in case if, on a blue moon, on Friday the 13th and all the planets align that we get a Robert Freddy skin, he can have voice lines included.

  • I've played a crapton of SP and MP games before DBD. Some even being asymmetrical or having asymmetrical aspects to it, such as L4D and Evolve.

  • I've always found her to be outright boring to play as and against. The only "fun" aspect that comes with her(personally) is the jumpscares from time to time.

  • Nah, I think it's very fine the way it is.

  • No, most certainly not. I honestly think if they made it either a "build up" perk after being chased for 10+ then you can use it, or, just remove the I-frames from it, some might say it would be gutted if that was to happen but, you could still use it for massive distance advantage.

  • Even though Michael is the "hero" of the series I still say Vanessa would be the best option they could pick. However, they would have to change her up quite a decent bit, so, I do personally agree with what some of said, it would probably be a chapter with a killer and(hopefully) a map but, if a survivor was included, it'd probably be Vanessa.

  • Just to name off a bit, Bunny Legion, Bunny Feng, Bootleg Chica(Easter Chicken Clown), Scarecrow Billy, Mental patient Doc, any Demo cosmetics, any Nemesis skin, Ferryman and True Bligh and Burial and School Girl Spirit.

This is, without a single doubt, the BEST post that's ever been made on this horrendous place. :D

The streamers i watched had good time and they won most of games (as monster). How many times you played? Maybe you need pratice because you know VHS has different mechanics. But hopefully VHS won't be sweat fest, i just wanna chill games.

Oh I've played for about, I believe, 10-20 hours. I do mange to kill all four teens 8 or 9 out of 10 games but, you will run into those occasional sweat matches and, it's not fun at all. Thankfully, I love playing WART(the dinosaur basically) so he can at least tank some damage being dished to him.

Lucky you man, i still have nothing. I hope i can try VHS soon too.

I mean, it is quite fun but boy is it a absolute nightmare to go against a actual good team of teens. If people think matches of DBD can be sweaty, wait until you play some matches in VHS as a monster vs good teen players, it WILL be swamp ass time.

  • I could possibly see it being in the mid-chapter 23.5 which would be very nice. That said though, since we know Haddonfield is getting a re-work which was my most hated map(really hope they can do a bit of something to it) I would've really liked to see Swamp get re-worked first. Even just on a pure visual standpoint, Swamp is just so... dull.

Spoiler: the tapes don't. There was nothing about him except a few throwaway lines in the lead up to his fight

Mmm, well, that's a bit of a disappointment but, whatever, again, I expected him to be in there as the "big bad". It personally doesn't really bother me all too much. I can however see why it would bother some though.

I wouldn't complain about BurnTrap if he had any mention earlier in the game. Unfortunately this isn't the case

Well, to be 100% upfront and honest, I have not fully played the game yet but, of course, the internet being the internet, I DID get spoiled on what the final boss was and looks like(BurnTrap, obviously) but, I'm going to assume that they do hint/allowed to him in some of the secret recordings(which, I know they're in the game but I have NOT listened to them because I want to find them myself) that said though, even if they do, that shouldn't be the way to hint at the final boss. That said though, that part really doesn't matter much to me(I WAS however, very pissed at first), still looking forward to playing more of it because, again, just being honest, I 100% expected William to be in the game in some way, shape or form.

  • I said this in a previous topic and, I'm not sure if it's any good or not but, I'll post it again here and I guess I'll just see what others think.

I'm honestly not very creative when it comes to power ideas but, I'll throw some ideas. There are three main aspects that I think they'd combine. They'd probably have security cams set up to be able to monitor what's going on around the maps, they'd probably also have other AI animatronics that might have something akin to how Pinhead's teleport works with the little red arrow but, instead of teleporting, that's how you activate a specific animatronic to patrol a area. The final piece is a toss up between two ideas that still relate to each other, the springlock suits. They'd either be a simple teleport option for you or they could work as a combination of Pig and Pyramid Head's cages, they'd be something you put the survivors into and then another survivor would have to save you as the survivor in the springlock suit does a little minigame to, well, survive.

If they want to go REALLY nutty and do something 100% unique with this, they could do something I like to call "Until the Clock Chimes" turning a standard match that would be filled with gens into a game of survival until the survivors reach a certain time and which the gates can be open. As cool as I personally think this sounds, it would probably be easily abusable because, let's be real, people would locker hop and hide in corners the entire time. That's the beauty of this possible DLC in my opinion, they could get super creative if they wanted too. Like I said though, coming up with power ideas is NOT my strong suit but hey, I gave it a shake! xD

And, @GoodBoyKaru while I somewhat disagree with you about the whole "shoehorning" aspect, there is one thing I do agree on, as much as I do thoroughly enjoy all of William's backstory and his design interpretations throughout the years(especially the original Springtrap and SB's "Burntrap".... we don't talk about Scraptrap though) I do have to agree on one thing, it is time to finally move away from William always being the big main villain, at least, for awhile.

  • I've been trying to play more games as well recently. The four main games I've really gotton into are Security Breach(besides all the bugs I personally think it's still a fun game and, if there's one thing DBD has taught me is to how to expect and deal with bugs) Little Nightmares 2, Borderlands 3 and I was lucky enough to get a VHS key so, having quite a bit of fun with that.

Exactly, there is realistically only one viable option, so where it at though?

Sadly, it does suck to say this but, it seems as though when it comes to video game licenses in particular(unless the series has been long dormant), they seem to want to promote the newest characters/iterations of older characters because they want to be able to sell more copies of whatever newest game or remake is. So, has much as it sucks to say, we probably won't be seeing the classic design of Nemesis for awhile. :/

  • Demo was supposed to be the one blessed thing in this entire game... how could you do this? ;_;

  • I'd love some more skins for Neme but, honestly, there's not really a whole lot to pick from. We've got the original one and, well, that's really about it because my other idea of a heavily mutated/damaged skin was kinda covered a bit with the blighted skin. We could see him have the mask but, I'd probably just have to be released as a single piece to buy. Maybe they could do some legendary skins, I could see that being a thing for him like Ustanak for example just with, you know, a added tentacle. xD

But who doesn’t love to get moried by Myers?? Haha yeah I understand it can be frustrating.

I'm just so fearful these days because they just get as close as they possibly can so they can pop tier 3 and grab me easily and when I see them getting that close I'm just sitting there like "oh yeah, I know what's about to happen". lol

Map would be too small. Would not work.

I was a huge fan when the series came out (I was in 5th grade btw).

And followed the first 3 games. As they are the only good ones in my opinion. So springtrap would be the best option.

    My point is..

We never see those characters move or do anything. They only walk, crawl and jumpscare. How is this gonna come all together in DBD?

Alright, warning, this is a lot of text I know, sorry in advance.

I think they could do something very unique with map actually, if they wanted to, because of the fact that The Entity itself takes from fragments of characters memories, it could play off of what was going on with the RPD map with The Entity "filling" the gaps and combining a lot of the locations together to create a fairly big map. Though I disagree with you on the first three being the only good games, I DO however agree that, yeah, Springtrap or, at least, a variation of his would be the best option easily to pick from.

  • Cheesy.... as hell. Me and my friend @MegMain98 have started to fear going against Myers now because, legit, 90% of the time they have Tombstone. I guess we must've pissed the cult of Myers players off one day and now every time they see us they say "welp, it's Tombstone time"! xD

Hm, this conversation went from "Fnaf wont transition well in DBD" to "Which FNAF characters will be in DBD".

    Yeah, basically! lol

Personally thoguh, I've always disagreed with the whole "FNAF won't transition/fit well into DBD" statement. If they can make Pig and Pinhead work going on active chases, I think they can make FNAF work just as fine. Now, if the power is creative, that's a whole different can of worms, they'll def reuse the AI created for Nemesis and Pinhead though. As for the whole "fitting in" aspect, well, I think THAT is a whole load if you ask me. This vid legit summarizes it almost perfectly in my opinion.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxQHyBeFqrA

And I mean, as for the characters... I still feel the entire concept works best as the first chapter with a map and a killer with no survivor.

That was because the company that made the original didnt let them get the rights.

But there was no way Behaviour was gonna settle with no Freddy so this is why they went for the 2010 version.

Same with Ghostface. They couldnt get the rights to the Scream franchise so they got the rights from the company that made the Ghostface mask.

Still, ultimately, they are at the mercy of the license holders. At the end of the day, it's their franchise and if they want the newest characters to be promoted then, so be it. Yes, BHVR will try their hardest to grab some of the original material but, they'll settle for what they can get really.

Not saying that's good or bad(it probably does suck on BHVR's end more though), it's just kinda the way the licensing world works.

They dont take characters from the most recent entrys. They always go for OGs. So content from first 3 games is guaranteed.

Nightmare on Elm Street remake characters say "hi".

  • After the recent gigantic poll by DBDLeaks, it seems like three biggest grabs DBD could get at this point in time are, FNAF, F13 and Alien. I have a feeling @dugman will be in here at any point in time with his opinions(which are very good btw) but, let's break it down a little bit.

I feel as though it will follow in the tracks of the last two anniversary's and, not only be a licensed chapter but, it might be a video game chapter. And, I'm thinking(tinfoil hat time) there going to do a reversed pattern from last year. Last year, it was a game leading into movie, this year, it'll be a movie leading into a game. Now, let's break down the picks.

FNAF is a omega juggernaut right now and, there's been almost non stop requests for it for awhile now.

F13 is also, of course, a juggernaut but, despite the fact that it got done with it's legal issues, Miller and Sean are now hashing out how to split profits and, I believe Victor Miller has said it shouldn't take too long before they get things settled but, will it be in time for a anniversary chapter? I personally don't believe so.

Alien is another huge want from the community. People(along with me) want more monsters in the game and Alien would perfectly fit that bill. The big issue is... Disney. Disney is very well known for being strict with their IP's and, not only that, they go TO YOU, you don't go to them, you'll be laughed out of the building if you do such a thing. That said though, they have been recently going more in the gaming market with the Alien franchise so, who knows... maybe BHVR was contacted.

The two surprise picks are possibly Dead Space and Bioshock. They both have new games supposed to be coming out or, at least, announced in 2022 so, they could be surprise grabs.

  • Hey sure, I’m down for a crap ton of licenses and, Ghostbusters is no exception. :)

1 2 3 4 … 44
