Just to be clear here, moderators do not have this kind of information.

That said, Mandy already mentioned that the hitboxes are getting tweaked and I'd assume it might be coming with one of the hotfixes:

They plan on adjusting his survivor collision (not object collision) in an upcoming update to a value between the 20 of current live and the 40 of the PTB, as per Mandy, lead community coordinator for DBD at BHVR

Yes I'm aware, just asking if it's going to be in the next bug fixes (which usually comes pretty soon after the release) or in a mid chapter where they revisit balance a bit more.

  • Actually looks really fun, congrats

    There, I said it.

The game has cater way to much toward newcomers to the point us more experienced killer players really dont feel we have much of a challenge anymore.

Killers need to be toned down a bit, I dont say that my role should be gutted, just make it slightly more difficult again.

Winning is fun, I enjoy getting 4ks, but I dont like how almost every game feel like a walk on the beach

U clearly don't know what ur talking about, but ok

  • @konchok said:

I'm landing more than 75 percent of the hits that I go for, which is comparable to my Blight hits to be honest.

I bet you didn't play Blight on the PTB. That was the most frustrated I've been when playing a killer.

To be fair, twins release was worst

  • In this case it's really skill issue, go after the person using it, they need to be in at least 6 meters of the hook

  • Why u want to rebuff coh? It's already one of the best survivors perks in the game, u now that u get a 50% boost out of 50% right? That means 50 + 25 = 75 u actually heal at 75% the speed. The 75% cog was just like still stupid it was 87.5% of healing speed. Coh is a stupid perk, that eliminates pressure super ez, and I would even go further and say that it's one of the biggest incentives to unhealthy play stile by killers, since u can have all 4 surs healed in seconds.

  • @Rudjohns said:

Nah, it should be 7% haste but to balance up it should not combine the speed with Hope or Blood Pact

No. U would be killing any 110% killer. If u want to do this u should AT LEAST give killers basekit shattered hope. At least, 2% is bad but if it's anything more then 4% it could be a massive problem

  • Eruption, pop, call of brine, lethal pursuer

  • Bruh, Wesker is not even out yet but he's already boring. Big bruhs

  • @RaSavage42 said:

Why is STBFL so high but Brutal Strength is so low

And why is Pig so low... her Kill rate is high

Well I'm addicted to brutal so i can tell that it's a great perk! Btw it can with new maps designing it's kind hard to get a great value early on the match. Eyre of cringe or garden of pain are maps with tons of palettes, so the distance that u get from breaking faster is unfortunately not that significant, and save the best is a bonkers perk. It's the best lethality perk on the game after the patch. The stbfl "buff" is not having 10 stacks it getting the value earlier. For example having 4 stacks is going to give u the same value as 6 stacks on the pree patch, so even if u chase the obsession u will have the same value.

  • @squbax said:

Forced penance is way to low, considering healing is so strong, it is a good perk in comp scenarios or sweaty matches.

Yeah, but it's way to situational + healing is strong but the major problem is self haeling and forced penance doesn't work with self healing. Btw it could maybe be mid/low D.

  • @DBD78 said:

So this is my thirteenth killer vs killer thread. Same two questions as always:

Who in your opinion would you class as the better/stronger killer of these two and why?

And which one of them is most fun to play?

Depends spirit with mother's daughter ring? Spirit. Base kit artist v.s basekit spirit? Artist for sure. Spirit is carried by her add-ons, if not she's a solid mid A tier.

  • Ok let's start. Look at twins, twins are still one of the strongest killers in the game, yah they are not nurse/blight level but still strong even after the nurf, but why no one plays them? Terrible stun time. It's super unfun going thru a 5 seconds stun everytime u hit someone. What u are making is that, nurse would need to go thru a 4 seconds stun + 4 seconds moving at 3.8 speed after being able to play again, and o gosh good helps u if u miss a blink. + The nurse recovery time is already 4 seconds per token. Now let's talk about addon changes in general ok changes, but I can predict nurses running fatigue add-ons all the time just so the game is not super boring, then kavanagh is stupid, having a 50% farther lunge would be gaming breaking, it would allow nurse to make big mistakes and not being punished. In general I don't think that this would be a good rework, then again this is only my opinion.

  • P14 blight, i have more than 2000k hours but I have a social life, so i couldn't do much better, btw it's super fun to see alch rings and Mori's at lvl 3 blood web, I have over 100+ of almost every add-on.

I’m a killer main and I agree that STBFL is probably overtuned now, there’s a reason it shot up in popularity. They could hypothetically tweak it so it caps out at the same fastest net recovery speed it had pre-patch and it would be just as good a perk as it was (which was a good perk, I used it quite a lot pre-patch. Now it’s verging on being a little too fast at 8 tokens.)

The "buff" is not because it's much faster, it's 0.15 or 0.3 if I'm not mistaken. People are using it much more because u can fell the perks effect much earlier, since u have a baseline 2 stack, so if u chase ur obsession (what sometimes u need to) u would have 4 stacks + 2 basekit, with makes the perk more viable that's what meta shakeup means btw.

  • Tell me u are bad without telling me ur bad:

Because a lot of changes, like the base changes, probably need more time to see how they're working out. On the other hand you don't need months of data to see that thana legion is a grim experience.

Problem is, Thana legion still as good as it was, the only problem is that the perk is dead to every other killer

  • Get gud broo

So would it just be better to run DS if you are having one of those DBD days of just getting hard tunneled

Ds now is 3 seconds so I'm not sure, but if u have both then u can really punishe the killer for tunnelling u

  • Well I'm vac banned, I have over 2000 hours on dbd and I have never been interesting in cheating on dbd, I got banned 2 years ago by cheating on CSGO when I was 13 years old, the fact that i cheated in 1 game 2 years ago doesn't mean I'm going to cheat again, to me that's kind obvious.

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

Dredge is no way A tier and absolutly not even close to top 5 killers.

Well I mean, I got ur point, but dredge has a lot of things going for him, his map presence is pretty good, has a pretty strong anti loop, on night fall he gets a WAY faster tp, and no only that he get the killer instinct in a massive radius, I guess it's something like 20 meters? Not only this but u can place ur husk close to a hooked person, going around spreading ur terror radius so u can delay the game a bit, and when u see the hook turning immediately teleport back, maybe even getting a grab. Amazing synergy with meta perks, and more, bottom A at the very least.

  • Im hypocritical

Last days of MMR test i have played for hours, today i did one killer game, figured out basic Sbmm was back and closed the game. Got a swf team of 6000h, and the lowest had 2000h, I'm back to my break i guess.

    FUN

I take it those survivors were being very respectful? I do not speak that language. I can only expect they were held to the standards of our extremely productive community leaders!

    Something like:

    U are too bad

    Cry more its too litlle

    Main killer ***************

Well, it just brings me back to the 4 slow gen perks, and that's it.

  • @Shroompy said:

oh no! you lost 1 game out of your 20 because you got unlucky and some one sent you to RPD!

    Silly MMR

4th game in a row with a map offering, not saying that i should win every game, its just not fun, it makes me regrat not bringing 4 slow gen perks, but whatever.

  • I know the tests are over, I'm not referring to a "today's" test, it got shadow changed, cause they want to see if the change is remarkable.

  • @Tsulan said:

This is the normal sbmmr. All tests are over.

It's 100% not, I have 2000k hours, and it's DEFINITELY not the same, I got survs with green perks, I was winning the majority of games without gen defenses, and on surv it my team ware great, I just stop playing cause I got 2 nurses in a row

  • @GoshJosh said:

    Bots.

Bots doesn't count as a steam account, do they? If I'm not mistaken they even use the kyf lobby's tho play as the AI

  • Well u must be a 5000 hours Roblox streamer then, cause if u think that u can win a match by chosing a killer u are wrong, both sides have incredible broken things, survs can bring 4 bnps and make the killer game miserable, and killer can use omega blink nurse tunneling the first people out of game with 5 gens, blight and nurse are the only 2 viable killer against a good swf, as YOU said, low killer needs to tunel, and camp... So why are u complaining about killer that don't? When I'm playing nurse and I'm under control of the match I try to make all the 12 hooks, but if I'm playing trapper I usually don't have this controll if I can't take someone out of the game earlyer, the solution is not nerfing blight or spirit (nurse is actually busted I do agree), is making other killer more viable and removing perks that hurt low tier killer even more, such as coh, a nurse can lead with that... But what about a ghost face or a trapper?

  • Chf having it's self healing removed, and the speed being buffed to 100% again.

  • @Nathan13 said:

Sometimes there are a few additional changes in the PTB.

Well if this is all I guess I'm finally going to take my brake

  • @RavenBirb said:

I'll put my top 3 I wish were changed or updated, this game is great but I wish we could start to move away from the whole "running in a circle" in any given chase ever feature some of these maps got going on. I understand it's like one of the few things to lose the killer but I just wish there was other safe zones to use or something than running in circles.

    1. SWAMP
    2. Auto haven Wreckers
    3. Red Forest/Coldwind

Rpd, Ormond, Eyre of crow, bahadman and the game, not as bad as the other maps but still dogshit

  • @James4125 said:

No hex perk belongs anywhere above C tier because you have no control over the location or the survivors spawn.

NOED isn't even C tier. It doesn’t do anything for 90% of the game and you may not even need it.

Edit: Unrelenting is F and that's being generous.

I uses to think like this, that's why ruin is on the bottle of S, if it wasn't a hex It would be on top. Now the reason why u are wrong is because ruin doesn't need to stay up for the entire match, 3-4 minutes are more than enough, hex perks are among the strongest, and that's why they're so high on the tier list, and noed is more then a excellent perk, noed can turn a lost game into a 4k, secure kills, and even make c tier killer become A tier and so on, if u watch any tournament u will understand that noed is a super great perk, it can change the entire flow of a match. It's for sure an S tier perk, but I could be a high A tier, don't take me wrong all those perks can be 1 tier above or below, that's the reason why it's on the bottle of S.

  • @Holylock said:

    1. Gearhead - C: the information this perk gives is very good, it can help me look for another survivor or know which generator is being repaired
    2. Surge - B: saves a bit of time, regress generator and gives information if nearby generators are being repaired, i think it's a very good perk
    3. Claustrophobia - E: I've never seen this perk work, sometimes I only know the killer has it after I see his build
    4. Iron Grasp - E: Holding survivors on the shoulder longer has no advantage in the match unless they bodyblock what is rare

Actually I could agree with u, it's only cause I think the great skill check requirement kind dumb.

Surge, I do indeed agree, in my previous tier list I even put surge as an A tier perk, in this one I tried my best to not doing this tier list thinking in specific killers, and more in the majority of them, and the majority also have a second power that can down people with makes this perk really inconsistent.

It's true it's terrible, but at least it does something E tier perks are only perks that doesn't have any impact in game, claustrophobia can maybe have some impact

That's a fair point, it's pretty bad but can help to get to a specific hook sometimes, like a scourge hook or to the basement.

  • @DoritoHead said:

Infectious shouldn't be A, because its value is inconsistent across the different killers.

Actually fair point, I tried my best to not rank perks thinking in specific killers, but I may have failed with infectious

60 sec would be way too much, Ruin can be very devestating, especially in the early game.

U couldn't be more wrong, ruin literally just works by pressuring the game, and the early game is the hardest time for killers, that's why people bring corrupt, ruin is going to do nothing if u don't get ur first down

  • Dude it's only 2%, even if paired with blood pack it would be 9%,it's not 4%.

I was in a solo match against a blight that use double speed add-ons and abused the bug tech. Come to find out he was smacking each person that got hooked and shook his head at them. For what reason? I’ll never know. I managed to escape and gave him my version of a hook smack and a head shake. I’m all for avoiding toxicity but you reap what you sow. Goes for both sides.

Ok so you don’t have an answer. Got it.

I specifically asked to provide 1, just 1 example where you have successfully used DH in the open (a position survivors find themselves in a lot during a match).

You can’t gain distance if you’re already injured.

Seems to me like you are nitpicking your scenarios in order to claim it needs nerfing.

Ur not even being racional right now, u just want to defend a perk that u use, but if u want I can give u some exemples,if a blight is rushing to u even in a open area and u deadhard, he will get fatigued and u will gain A TON of distance, enough to get to another loop, same as nurse (it's basically a 3th health stage), billy, there's many situations that deadhard makes ur power not work as buy u a new chase. If u still thinking that's fair ur just being delusional to defend a perk that u like.

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2829393#Comment_2829393

    Good question!

I assume you are talking about my response I just provided, so I am going to assume you mean in an open area.

Its simple. You get very close behind the survivor and not swing. They will end up wasting it because it does not give them the distance that other perks such as SB, BL, or Lithe would.

Deadhard against nurse is a 3th health stage, against blight it can avoid a hit amd consume all ur tokens, against twins a free kick on victor, against Demogorgon an anti power basically.

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2829279#Comment_2829279

Yeah I don’t know “how to use it”

Please provide 1 example where Dead Hard actually worked in an open area against a killer who knows how to bait it.

    I’ll wait.

Well if u get hited and use the sprint bust to go to a open area while u have deadhard, u don't know how to use it.

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

“Everyone knows dead hard needs a rework”

Really? Who exactly? The killer mains that can’t stand one perk that is only good in certain loops, because god forbid it is strong enough. Even though in open areas it sucks.

That's probably cause u don't know how to use it, deadhhard is in the same situation as old ruin, ruin got reworked cause ever killer was using it, 80% of the killers at red ranks, deadhard is the most used perk from the entire game. It can buy u a completely new chase for free, and It rewards u for playing badly. As same as noed does for example. It's not a "us vs then" post, I have 2000 hours in the game, I play both sides, and I + 99% of people think that deadhard is at the very least unfair

  • @Alice_pbg said:

that isn't a rework. that's just changing it into another perk.

    just remove the invincible frames.

No, actually just removing the invincible frames is just a nerf, what I proposed is a entire reword, as DS received sometime ago

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

How are Jolt and Thanatophobia A tier. That's my only question. I agree with pretty much the rest (aside from NOED being S tier) but I genuinely want to know how Jolt and Thanatophobia are anything but C tier

Well thana rewards pressure which is big, unfortunately with boons it's allot weaker, but if u get able to injure all 4 of the survs they will try to heal a lot more, and of course that's great, but also in a snowball situation thana will freeze the game. Jolt is actually pretty good, it's now by the 8%, it's because of its range, u can regress multiple gens at once by again putting pressure, and in my opinion pressure is the biggest slow down in this game. Noed is a game changer perk, a second chance that if u use with no way out can result in a massiv snowball

  • Dead hard, i would like to make something completely different with the perk, it's no longer an exhaustion perk, but as the name say's "Dead hard" whenever u are within a 8-10-12 meters from a downed survivor this surv gains the ability to completely picks himself up from the ground at 150% of the recover speed (a 50% bonus). By doing this it would still pretty strong but also not so ######### broken and annoying to go against.
