Hi guys, I made a killer tier list. I was thinking a lot about where to put each killer, so opinions are welcome :)

Let me know what you think
Cheers!
Damn bro u are so smart

Agreed, an toolboxes should be basekit, also it should come with 4 bnps on it,to make things fair.

Hooks breaking after a survivor is sacrificed on it. This outdated mechanic unnecessarily creates deadzones, which thereby forces slugging. If basekit unbreakable ever makes it to the live servers, this will be a nightmare.
I don't even think it has a reason behind, it's indeed outdated asf

You have addressed SWF and/or buffed killer so that it can pressure survivors on most of the maps.
Buffing SoloQ efficiency to near SWF level without giving universal killer buffs is how you make this killer player count gone by 50 %.
And no - don't say that "killer buffs will come next". Knowing BHVR, that could take anything from 6 months to 5 years.
So no, either release killer buffs on the same patch or don't buff SoloQ at all.
BRUH, imagine complaining about buffing the weakest role in the game, how should they balance swf without hurting solo? What they should, and most likely will do is balance solo to have a similar level as a swf, then u can balance the game and buff killer to compensate, an S tier killer with 4 slow gens is unwinnable to solo, but a good swf have a fair chance, and how could u balance something that has a difference so ABYSMAL as solo and swf. Buff solo then buff killers so everyone can have a fair chance, solo can't be ignored.

yeah all these things are running under the assumption that ur in a highly coordinated swf. so...yeah, base level, there are no add-ons on survivor side that compare to Tombstone Myers lol.
All I'saying is: Myers need his best add-ons to not be the worst killer in the game. While survivor often don't need any kind of items of add-ons to perform well.
-
@Bupkiss said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3227916#Comment_3227916
yep, none of those come add-ons or items close to the advantage of tombstone Meyers. Now you get it.
Oh yeah, 4 people with 4 medikits capable to deny any killer pressure is not a good advantage, the m1 killer that need his best add-ons is a lot stronger. Survivors if well coordinated don't need add-ons, Myers is a joke on torment stands, and survivors have limited resources. Myers is in general just a big joke as a killer, in the majority of tierlists his on the very bottom.
-
@Bupkiss said:
Yeah survivors can do the same with their add-on of....Oh yeah, there is no comparable add-on for survivors. But don't worry the game is balanced.
Bnps, syringes, commodious toolboxes, green medikits, and let's remember u are complaining about one of the worst killers in the game, that is only slightly viable when using his best add-ons. That's the biggest skill issue possible.

Legion: After striking survivors 3 times with feral frenzy, the 4th will put the survivor into the dying state. This ends the frenzy.
It's basekit now

If u killer could make 12 hooks se would. But the game doesn't allow that, if u try u will probably lose, maybe if u are a nurse with 4 slow gens, then yes, u maybe able to get 12 hooks

@Tony_ said:
He just needs some buff to him. What is the point of playing him when you have free killer that is better at everything than him? (If you live under the rock im talking about Huntress)
Seriously, give me one thing that Slinger does better than Huntress. (Ignoring the fact that he can reload everywhere, anytime becouse his addonless reload is so slow and it reloads only one bullet.)
I love Deathslinger, his name is badass, he looks badass, his voice lines are AMAZING and the concept of having a GUN in this game is also amazing.
Either deathsliger should be able to down injured people with shots too, or make he a 115% killer, or give him his old 24 meters terror radius back. If none of those make hiss ADS much faster, maybe not a quick scope as he used to have, but MUCH faster. He's a killer that has no map pressure, no map presence, no mobility, with a 32m terror radius and 110%, the only thing he has is his anti loop, that used to be good enough to keep up with other killers, but now he's just worst than average.

You came up with a gen defence build. I mean, if it's fun for you but for me seeing yet another gen slowdown build isn't the most fun.
I still like IaE, Nemesis, Enduring and Lethal Pursuer with double range.
That sounds fun, the only problem is losing isn't fun.

You can use whatever add-ons you want btw, I just don't ever run his because they're all borderline useless.
This build really serves to stall out the game and keep up pressure on survivors. You may think it's weird at first to have so many hook perks on him, but it does work. More often than not you're going to have to manually hook survivors once through-out your games with him.
This build requires you to be efficient in chase, so it's not exactly beginner friendly. If you take too long you don't get much value out of your perks. But, Pyramid Head can take down survivors pretty easily once you get familiar with how to play him.
So it plays out like this. Deadlock gives you time between gens to build up your Grim Embrace. The strategy with Grim Embrace is to keep one survivor tormented so you can cage them, find them again and activate Grim Embrace when it's the best time for it. It is a risky strategy, but it can also pay off really well. If you don't want to take that risk just hook them and try to make the best out of the time you have. All the while you're exploding gens with Pain Resonance. The ideal scenario with this is you blow up the most progressed gen and active Grim Embrace. Then, at the end of the game, No Way Out is your last stand. You get about a minute to make the most out of. That doesn't sound like a lot, but during that time you can cause some damage and force survivors to heal or rescue, delaying the gates even more. No Way Out is great for comebacks.
I hope you enjoy it. If you would make any alterations to it let me know!
If u are enjoying it, go ahead, if I really want to win I use my main build, it's consisted by: corrupt, deadlock, call of brine, eruption. Its a tremendously amount of slowdown that can allow you to tunell as effective as possible or go for many chases as possible. Ph main strength is getting someone out of the game earlier than many killer can, and with a much lower risk, so i don't see why not using his cages, since they're ur main way to generate pressure, and u should use them most of the time.

For a long time people have wanted a killer who teleports through lockers. Dredge delivered that and more. They feel like an actual monster, has really cool and creative skins, but it seems nobody really cares about them. I say this because I rarely see any streamers or content creators play them and rarely see them around as survivor.
Are they just really underwhelming? Is it an aesthetics thing?
I don't have them unlocked atm, but I really like them from what I've seen.
I personally find playing as him ok, but i don't get why should I play dredge instead of playing other killers, he's kind strong, but people locking lockers, and his husk cooldown is pretty annoying, wich makes a big part of playing him unfun

Hey it's honestly not that bad as killer either. You just can't waste time chasing them in the tower. Actually I think The Game is great two for either.
BRUH, BRUHHHHH, bro the map is as big as a continent, there literally NO dead zones, the middle is busted, the edge is busted, the back is busted, the ######### Rock loops are abysmal. The map is the bottom 3. It's ######### disgusting, and the gen spread is also terrible, good luck getting a reasonable 3 gen there.

No. Eruption is fine, maybe they should improve solo, but the perk itself is ok.

His torment trails are 100% in the hands of the survivors. If you tunnel with PH, it is because the survivors let you, because they walked into it.
Ergo: they are bad survivors. If they walk into that within 2 minutes, they are VERY bad survivors.
Assuming they dodge every trail, then it means that u have the strongest anti loop in the game. By simply puting ur sword in the ground for 1 second in each loop u completely eliminates the loop.

Dunno about Otz vids, i was mainly saying this because of base kit BT. Somebody who gets unhooked can tear through your web around the hook and there is 0 things you can do about it. And they changed her so slugged people can trigger traps which is simply god awful. Dunno if they reverted that last change because i immediately dropped her at that point.
Oh and OTR which hurts her kinda hard. And yea reassurance as well but thats not really meta so thats fine.
Hmmm, god point, at the same time, if u can hit them while they have otr, they will lose it, and if they step in a trap again they are dead, ds is not used anymore, it does bring big problems to hag, but i can be risky to do so
-
@Dead_Harder said:
Recent changes havent been kind to Hag, she is no longer A tier yet alone A+ imo
Hey, ya I can see why, boons and reassurance kind hurted her a lot, but she's still tremendously strong. If u are saying this based on otz video, otz was basing his self on the pth reassurance, even tough reassurance is extremely strong hag can still defend the perimeter for 30 extra seconds, I've playing hag since pH releases and not very much has changed, yes boons hurted her a lot, but even then people used medikits, and franklins is extra good on hag. Consider giving her another change and u will see why she's still so strong :)

@ProfessorDunwich said:
Clown too high, Twins too low. Pretty good overall though.
Clown is pretty weak indeed, but with pink finger it can be quite strong, u have a ton of lethality if combined with the add-ons that allow u to carry + 2 bottles. twins are extremely strong killer, but they get kinda hurt by the endurance meta and the medikit + boon meta, if wasn't by that I would definitely rank them on the top of A.
-
@Adjatha said:
Oh look. Someone over-rating Pyramid Head, the most over-hyped killer in the game.
What a shock.
Hi, I have almost 3000 hours on the game, I play comp and I can tell u, pH is not overrated, after his nerf I thought he would be a lot weaker but he's still super strong, just harder, his anti loop is great, but that's not the major issue, he can tunell without worrying of any perk, or basekit bt. U can get someone out of the game in 2 minutes if u play correctly, but i respect ur pov
-
@enormous_bruh_moment said:
I think you've overrated Demo and Wraith, and underrated Pinhead and Nemesis by a little bit.
Also I really don't see Spirit as being that strong anymore unless you're always using Mother Daughter Ring and the Yakuyoke Amulet.
She used to be one of the most bitched about killers of all time, and now you don't hear anyone so much as mentioning her at all.
Hey, well I can completely understand, but spirit still having one of the strongest add-on selection in the game, she's S tier material with the better ones, if not she's a A tier killer. Wraith wasn't even a B tier killer to me before 6.2.0, but after the patch, with gen kicking being so strong, i definitely think he's way better and he has a pretty good addon selection, i find pinhead to be hard to rank, before I would say he's B tier, but with the deep wound change, he can tunell really ez and counter dh super well, although he's a solo q stomper, he suffers to strong teams, Nemi has the drawback of needing to hit 3 times, if it wasn't by this he could be even higher.

The MacMillan maps are trash too after they added in their cool new tiles that spawn ridiculous setups. Have fun playing on Suffo Pit, Groaning, and Ironworks against people with boons that can loop. Killer sided game though
Well I can understand u, but suffocation pit is a really good map.... When u look to it's gen spread, u can get 5 gens on 1 side of the map, so u don't need to bother the middle being buster, or the oder gens on the other side of the map.
-
@OniWantsUrLocation said:
All the maps you mentioned are trash, but Eyrie, Garden of Joy and RPD are causing a different kind of pain to me. Probably because they are the three most recently released maps, demonstrating that the devs haven't learned anything about map design in the past 6 years.
After the recent changes I actually trust on the devs team, but goddamn the maps are so bad, when I load in one of those i he like "Well I guess I lose", i can't find hope on playing in any map like that. It's so scummy
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:
RpD and Preschool sure but I can't say i finds the game or eyrie that bad.
Only bad part of Garden of Joy is the awful house remove 1-2 windows and it would be fine
Bro the collision is also pretty scummy, there are way to many connected loops, and the gen spread is bad too. Remove some palettes, tremendously nerf the main build, and then... It maybe a good map for sure.

In a pool of Blights, Nurses and Weskers with your typical meta perks and builds (Lethal Pursuer, Scourge Hooks, Eruption etc) how do "you" make the game more fun to play or interesting for other players?
Me:
- I play weaker killers like Clown and Trapper (I play 13 killers in total)
- I "sometimes" use non meta perks and builds like for example, Distressing Hag, Clown, Trapper and Wesker (Sloppy Butcher/Claurophobia/Unnerving Presence/Distressing)
- Although i like Wesker i stopped using him bc there are too many Weskers right now
- I play Hag
- I play Body Block Hag
- I play No Way Out Trapper
- I play Twins
-I play all Hexes on killers sometimes
- I "never" burn moris ever
- I never use iris
Good thing for players like me and your welcome! )
I don't need to make the game fun for others?

Yes. 90 is ok. 60 at least.

I'm not saying I'm glad he's taking a break, but it's certainly good for his sanity. I'm just tired of all these "streamer xy told us the truth and we stop using our own brain" posts. I will never understand why you always have to mention content creator in the forum to support your own opinion. Maybe that's why I react sarcastically to such posts.
Well the reason why people mention others is because they familiarize with them. U will often see even outside of dbd people mentioning each other when discussing, because they agree with that X streamer, influencer, politic. Otz was one of the fell streamers that didn't have a "side" and provided data on both sides.
-
@Bran said:

Yeah, it's just kind disheartening to see that he's not having fun with the game anymore, I also fell kind unsure how this is going to affect the community in general, since he was the most important figure that we had by far, providing data and trying to alert the devs about the game health
-
@Bartlaus said:

I can't stress this enough: You should not make any conclusions from the stats we shared today. They're purely for the sake of transparency so you can get an idea of how things are going so far. Things take time to settle, and just about all of the numbers we shared (perks and otherwise) change daily. Once popular perks are continuing to fall in usage rate, less popular perks are slowly being used more.
We also have to keep in mind that there is currently a Tome challenge that requires Self-Care, so the usage rate will be higher than normal.
Thanks for the transparency the community appreciates ❤️

In my eyes the Rotten Fields map is one of the most Killer sided maps. Cowshed is one of the most Survivor sided maps.
Thompson's House is awful to play as too, cowshed is top 5 worst maps rotten fields is ok but the gen spread can be kind trick

Why would a killer, an "unstoppable force to be feared", need to wait for the survivor to use a perk and then hit.
When I was thinking about a new version of Dead Hard I was hoping that this stupid wait behind a survivor would be over and that I could finally attack without playing like every survivor has it.
Before: I needed to wait behind a survivor, he used dead hard and he was safe (clearly outplayed)
Now: I still need to wait for a survivor in case he has dead hard. Every time I'm at a loop and I don't want to swing early in case of dead hard, the survivor could make it anyway to a window or pallet since he knows I will wait and I know he will use it anytime he wants.
Does it require more skill? Yes, because not every time you make it, but the problem is still there. I shouldn't play like every survivor has it (unless I see that they're using other exhaustion perks).
Same goes for survivor where I shouldn't play like every killer has pain resonance, but that's another topic.
There are over 200 perks in this game but you always expect the opposite side to have the same 2 or 3
It's a stupid perk desing still
-
@DEMONANCE said:
number #1 or #2 most used survivor perks according to some stats
at least one or two dead hards in every lobby same with a lot of streamer lobbies.
this perk is slowly becoming as frustrating to deal with as old dh, and getting robbed out of hits when using powers that don't allow you to wait it out like wesker's bound , trickster's knives or when survivors force a lunge by going to a pallet feels awful.
if we want to improve the killer experience second chance perks and items/addons should not exist outside of dealing with camping/tunneling.
if dead hard is back to being a very popular perk it should be further nerfed imo it's not as bad as its pre nerf version but it isn't exactly balanced.
A perk that makes killers scared to swing shouldn't exist, but who am I to criticize new dh, people seams to love it.

I would still argue that's in line with other exhaustion perks though. You can walk to a pallet and camp it with Sprint Burst ready or predrop and Lithe over it.
Lithe u need to vault, and sprint is stoping to do it mid chase, unless u 99 it. It's basically "gain a sprint burst every time u drop a pallet."
-
@gatsby said:
Fixed the perk. It goes from being one of the weakest exhaustion perks to being at the power level of all the other exhaustion perks. Still fits the theme of the perk. Makes it more useful.
Combo Smash Hit with Decisive, Blast Mine, Flashbang or any Flashlight for some crazy results. No need to nerf the 4 second duration either cause all the blinds and stun requirements have setup time or a skill requirement.
Asides from flashlight I would be ok with it, imagine u preedrop a paleta killer brakes u blind him, now he's blind, on the other side of the pallet and u are getting a 4 seconds sprint, not fair. But other than this it's ok.

But again, don't get me wrong. When i saw the title, i thought you found some builds which has good synergy with Wesker's powers. But it is just typical meta build.
Indeed a small pp build, but most of people think the meta now is overcharge call of brine, or pain ressonace and DMS, I just wanted to share what's in my opinion the strongest build u can use, I was using save the best for last instead of call of brine, but I've doing great with call so yeah.

no, my point was that he doesn't need those kind of perks in order to do winstreaks since bhvr released a killer with a good basekit for once. i hope that he will stay in that way since he's strong but not overpowered
Agreed! But a winstreak counts every game, and even tho its true u can win pretty often with a not super strong build, I'm trying to win every game + survivors are also going to run the best #########, so no shame in using meta, I just don't like to be tunelling or camping without needing to, but if I need I will for sure. At the end it's just a game
