Nothing is more fun than causing complete chaos and laughing menacingly after you jumped from a roof (or used the rocket boom exploit) to blind and stagger all 4 and seeing them being picked on by your team while they get swarmed.

Given what we said, wouldn't it be easier and better to just replace the RNG with something less BS for both while removing some of downsides and make it easier to mindgame by letting Freddy know if hes visible or not during the dream transition?
That way he can keep his few massive upsides while being less bullshit at times for both while generally stronger.
I don't see how a rework is the best option for him. Bubba and Legion needs them but not Freddy.

Freddys base mechanic punishes tunneling and rewards pressure and hit and run tactics. Well BHVR learned their lesson after the survivors reviewbombed to get Freddy nerfed, or the BBQ change meltdown, or the fact they changed Killer pipping back and forth, or when there were tantrums based on speculated, unofficial release dates.
Not even mentioning the semi regular hysterical aperkalypse theories, like Deliverance, Rancor, Prove Thyself, Breakdown, Discordence, Iron Maiden, Make your Choice etc.
I don't blame BHVR for thinking that a good part of the community are irrational cranks. -

They will revisit Bubba to complete him at some point, BHVR will probably try to convince the license holders for cosmetics, and while the chances are not bad considering they allowed them in the past its still not garanteed and if they are released they will most likely be paid only.

If an awake survivor is within hitting distance during a chase with an asleep survivor, and you’re not taking a moment to quickly use dream demon on them too before resuming your current chase, then you’re just an idiot. -
Huntress can be done rather easily (mechanically, she is still highly overrated imo). Not huge of an impact, Nurse though is mostly handicapped by the atrocious FPS drops and imput lag her power causes.

They are deliberatly quiet on this, but i don't remember if the 3 week rule was ever broken so whats on the Wiki right now is about as good as it can get. If you want info you gotta max your charisma stat to 10 and ask BHVR with your fingers crossed.

That garantees some minimum time waste while survivors no longer deal with RNG.
- Freddy can now pick up survivors getting healed.
- Autoaim no longer locks on to awake survivors.
- Action speed penalty now affects dream transition, all actions are canceled after 4 seconds.
- Reduced movement speed penalty, faster recovery to put multiple to sleep and/or longer range.
- Reduced dream world effects for both.
Thats it, then he'll be fine.

Alright, let me clear some things up:
LEATHERFACE was originally supposed to be a full Chapter. This was backed by several things.
1) LEATHERFACE internally was referred to as DLC6. Only Chapter DLCs have that designation followed by a number.
2) Back in those days, the devs also added the new Achievements we usually get for a Chapter about 1-2 months up front as hidden Achievements (I think that was some weird requirement by Steam at that time).
LEATHERFACE had 3 Achievements titled Ach_DLC6_Killer_(1-3) and 3 Achievements titled Ach_DLC6_Survivor(1-3). The Survivor ones were removed shortly before release.3) Kate Densons voice acting and associated files came into the game alongside Bubba's files and were also part of DLC6. She was originally supposed to be his Survivor, then got delayed until she was finally re-used a the Clown's Survivor almost a year later.
As for why LEATHERFACE suddenly became just a Paragraph? I've had a talk about this with a dev and he pointed some key things out: re-used Hillbilly Add-ons and the A Nightmare On Elm Street Chapter released just a month later.
LEATHERFACE suffered from time constraints. They didn't have enough time to create his own Add-ons (which was originally the plan) so all we got were the Chilli Add-ons and the Marks and the rest are Billy's Add-ons and due to the next Chapter with a much greater hype factor releasing just a month afterwards, they had to prioritise that over LEATHERFACE, robbing them of any time to finish it.
As for Grim Pantry. It was released alongside his crippled Chapter, but was never intended as HIS map. It was a long planned addition to the Backwater Swamp Realm of the Hag so that Granma's Cookbook wouldn't be a 100% chance for Pale Rose anymore.
Grim Pantry also was NEVER a part of the original Pale Rose. They are two distinct maps with completely different layouts and landmarks. They just got shrunk down in surface area by moving stuff closer together, a change that didn't happen until 2.3.0
The fact that Kate Denson does have plenty and Bubbas unlockable masks do kinda indicate that. I would love to see him in the suit he wears at the end of the original once he gets his update.

We all know that metaslaves will be even more uniformed than they are, like 80% of Claudettes nowadays. Plus it will spike lobby dodging to an absurd degree as survivors would dodge based on their teammates picks just as much as Killers who don't want to play against 4 meta extremists, the few who do are usually meta Nurses and Billys themselves.
Call me pessimistic but that will stomp the games diversity till it looks like a ######### Nuremberg Rally. -

Freddy is not nearly as bad as everyone says, just not as fun for many people, he'd be viable with a few buffs.
Legion is a walking catastrophe, unfun for both sides, UP or OP depending on Franks Mixtape. -

I advise a simple resin cast, it can be molded to fit your face perfectly, allows for unseen modifications. Its also relatively unexpensive and requires less skill than say metal.

Instadown Killers don't need NOED, Blood Warden is easily countered by waiting for the hook before opening and Bitter Murmer is one of the less effective tracking perks, not bad but less effective than Whispers and BBQ overall and kinda redundant in combo. -
