I like this because I recently was taught by a friend that I met like 5 months ago that was also a freddy main and showed me what Freddy can also do so now I am also scared of the new rework. I like this idea could be used for whatever killers get reworked in the future as well.
I agree with it, that way i don't have to give up what i learned, Freddy was my biggest main after i stopped playing Trapper. Freddy is viable and would ve EASILY top tier with the QoL update.

Id be ok with this, as long as Quick n quiet negates it, otherwise matching Quick n quiet's CD and making it useless EVERYTIME might be too much.
I didn't think of this. Yeah ivthink Quick and Quiet should be a counter for this perk.

Johnny Sins.
No explaination needed.
-
I love this idea, it reduces the grind while giving me some goals to work towards. I would like to see a few challenges that have to be completed to rank up a perk.
-
I highly encourage you to partner with other video game companies like Ubisoft, naughty dog, Crystal dynamics, insomniac games, and epic games; avoid EA and Activision for obvious reasons.
I would highly suggest ANYONE to avoid Ubisoft as well, they are famous for releasing buggy, untested cash cows as well. Take a look at most of their first post release updates, its really embarassing. 3 pages is average nowadays.

I think this is an interesting change worth testing.
Yeah the first idea was based on playing Ghostface and the second one while playing against him as i noticed that they tend to stay there like 10 seconds not even patrolling where i was ready to basicly ambush him. That needs a change.
-
What makes any of his addons toxic? If by toxic you mean quirky or viable then yes he is.

Not to be insulting, but this is top notch terrible gameplay.. Ofcourse you dont leave the hook if they are swarming it, but you didnt even try to chase another guy?? You dont need to defend hooks as a killer, you need to defend your gens.
And I dont see how they tried to make your life hell.. They had some flashlights and tried to safe their teammates with it, obviously? There is nothing toxic about that.
You got the last down because of noed and snowballed some kills off the survivors stupidity..
This game could have easily been a 0 kill game, if the survivors were more competent.
Again as a tip, you want to defend your gens, not the hooks.
Gens don't need to be defended if there is no chance for them to activate. Its literally impossible whem getting hook swarmed so saying the Killer should leave in that scenario is just like saying you should sabotage your goal by stop working on a gen and running away when you know that the Killer is busy across the map, it does not make any sense. But feel free to do it, people like you give out easy BP by being easy targets. Everyone likes free BP.

Will all stealth Killers receive a counter against detection perks?
-
Buff goes the Weasel.
-
No reason to seperate my top 3 issues as they affect both.
1. DCs
2. Game length
3. Poor map snd Killer balance creating stale metas (BUBBA BUFF WHEN?)
-
I main Black Metal Jeff.
Best cosmetic set in the game no doubt.

When I finally get a game it's gonna get crazy. Sucks being 275 BP-s away from a purple Ruin and a fourth perk slot though. If my calculations are correct I'll have him close to a solid loadout in about 25 hours. Does your bloodweb progression rollover to the main game once he's released?
Sadly it doesn't.

Did you see janick's post in "Ghostface" post, 25+ downvotes trying to defend it saying they don't want him to 99% people and down them, yet myers can do literally that, and apply it to all 4 survivors at once, their logic is stupid.
He better doesn't even think about nerfing Myers, otherwise i will get a huge bunch of chop suey and leave huge turds on his desk, under his kitchen table and in his pillow sheets. Hell i will even do it if he thinks about not doing it.
-
My version is 3-Gen Freddy with Surveillance, Overcharge, Pop goes the Weasel and Unnerving Presence.
-
Anybody remember this gem?
-
Bill Clinton.
-
You took over 20 minutes to find it then and you're still convinced you're good.
-
So it's rare, but when I play survivor and get against Freddy i find it hilarious watching people run in circles from nobody...
I love it as well. Especially when they get downed as it looks like they tripped over something.

She is in experienced hands, but to assume that Ghost Face would rise to the same level should the devs listen to feedback is way too optimistic. They've not listened for such a long time again that I lost all hope for anything regarding a healthy, balanced game. Them saying that they care on the recent dev stream felt like a lie.
The difference is that Spirit only needed a few slight tweaks aside from bug fixes.
Ghostface needs to go back to the drawing board completely. If it was up to me i'd even replace the exposed and make him stalk for tokens that'd give him one fast vault each to make him more unique. And thats aside all the other problems.
-
Of course i'd survive, i can't and just respawn at the campfire.
TBH you can do what you want. As long as you don't get bored you're fine.
-
I would like doors but simply as a pallet reskin.
-
Does prison time count?
-
No Mither + OoO + Sabotage + Self Care
Make sure to keep eye contact and just blatantly sabotage random hooks.
-
And/or make thevtotem appear once you have a token.
-
Huntress has a cat mask.
Why doesn't she have a catsuit?
Give Huntress a catsuit or i'll riot.
-
Its #########. Learn to play without it. The increase isn't that noticible anyway. If you want to track injured survivors easily then Bloodhound is the superior option.

Freddy re-work will turn him into a default M1 Killer who can do everything every other Killer can do (with some lame chargeable M2 gimmick)
"HE BETTAH NOW, CUZ MUH 7 SECS, IF YOU DISAGRE YU R FILTHY SURV MAIN THAT DOSN'T WANT VIABLE KILLAHS!!!"
The community ######### this one twice, the survivors for failing to adapt and got him nerfed and the Killer mains that took a huge dump on a Killer that is already decent and could have used some QoL to be just less annoying for both.

I just did a test. Gen tapping a gen only took 105 seconds, compared to the 80 seconds it takes to complete a gen without any great skill checks. This means that gen tapping only takes about 30% longer than repairing a gen without ruin, assuming you never hit great skill checks.
So survivors can either search for ruin for however long it takes to find it (can be minutes), or gen tap through all 5, taking about 525 seconds instead of 400 seconds. It's kinda like adding another gen to the game, but I wouldn't say it takes significantly longer to complete the gens this way.
There is a secret technique all Killers hate:
There is a small white zone in the skillcheck, if you hit it Ruin will glitch out and not work. It also gives bonus BP.
-
I thought Strider actually did anything at all.

I've done a rework suggestion of the BP offerings. Here's a link to it.

I like it as it affects the cluttering of the bloodweb and the ######### offerings.

Which is why I have the phrase 'As Unbiased as Possible'. Much as I wish it so, I know no one can be truly unbiased. But some people can accept when they're wrong.
But I do wanna know if you both think you're generally unbiased in terms of killer and survivor gameplay. Or if you think one side is better then the other (I doubt people would admit that actually, now that I think about it).
I do believe in fact that survivors have an serious advantage over Killers if played efficently. I did try to look for solutions that only affect them, or atleast affect them harder than the majority. Like increasing gen regression to punish splitting up, buffing weaker Killers and offer viable alternative for Ruin (PGTW and Huntress Lullaby would fill these spots if buffed properly). I also saw how BHVR failed to do anything about it except for the Surveillance rework, which gives some Killers atleast somewhat of a fighting chance.
-
I don't think anyone is completely unbiased here, anyone who does is usually lying or nuttier than a hamsters turd.
While i do try to consider the perspective of survivors i still usually gravitate for either Killers or high rank gameplay in general.

Except that NOED, Rancor, Spirit Fury, etc., all have mechanical counters (meaning, without requiring the use of other perks). For NOED, break the totems. For Rancor, get in a locker at the end and then leave ASAP. For Spirit Fury, drop pallets early.
I think you're in the wrong thread.

Don't tell me not to comment.

They have the luxury with Freddy that he is in such a terrible spot there's almost nowhere to go but up. Even if the rework moves him to a mid tier killer I will be happy.
Question is.... who will be the new king/queen of the "Worst Killer" title?
@Shad03 Popcorn? Cold Dirt? Sounds like a party.
I can assure you as a Freddy main that he will be the worst Killer for real that time.
Go see what Janick wrote about Freddy and the dream world on this forum.

I enjoy playing Freddy. He's nowhere near Billy or Nurse, but he allows some nice mindgames.
Devs overreacted back when he was released and rank 20 survivors review bombed. They nerfed after 2 weeks.
Since then we've waited for a buff.
Devs don't ask mains for input. Which turns out horribly.
I enjoy it too, when mastered the stalling is so good that you don't feel nearly as pressured as other Killers, also maxes his BP naturally very fast.
He does not need a rework, atleast not a full one. Give him some QoL amd a few minor buffs and hes good enough.
-
@Tsulan said:
I expect a hard nerf for Freddy. Disguised as a buff. People still complain about him and DC.
Well atleast we Freddy mains, including @DocOctober , @DudeDelicious , @PhantomMask20763 can tell everyone that we were right.
But we shouldn't complain about it, they reacted to the Legion rework feedback (most claiming he is weak) by further nerfing his addons.
-
Just posting here so i can tell everyone "I told you so" after his nerf.
-
Almost every time i play against an LF, there is the genius who thinks they gotta loop around the basement and teabag. You can guess what happens next. I get flamed for not saving them of course.

4th Survivor evades you all match, plays well, does a couple of gens and rescues everyone at least once.
3 other Survivors are sacrificed and you catch that 4th Survivor. As it is you didn't earn an instant sacrifice but you get one because you cant handle that last Survivor holding out till the of the whole sacrifice to earn their 800 bp from struggling.
No, Killers get enough free hand-holding as it is.
The last survivor always gets instantly sacrificed, always been that way, there is no struggle phase to get 800BP from in the first place.

Same reason I would spend BP on an odd bulb or BNP or most all the other flashlight add-ons that do nothing. Kidding aside, thing I was getting at is a mori is still kind of special when it happens to me, if it became base kit it would become just a yawn.
But thats kinda subjective, we all know the moris. I wish they had more as cosmetic options.

Which map was it?Red forest?
No the game, meant to say that.

Yes its possible, saw a red stain through a wall in the game. Must be a bug relating to the optimization.
-
Add Big Daddy Xi as a Killer.
-
@Usui said:
Cool, take rancor. Killers don't need anymore buffs. Try playing solo in red ranks for awhile.
Not a buff. The survivor is dead at that point. Its mostly for show, and saving a couple seconds.

@ChesterTheMolester Your name does not help why you got caught
Just some poker. Some goofy looking cop and his partner, who looked like the fat one from 21 Jump Street even felt the need to kick the door and shout pretending to be SWAT when they could have just knocked and be polite.
Did not help when we made fun of them about that.

As a killer I've never really had a problem with MoM, I can deal with it pretty well and I think it's ok.
However, I play both sides, Survivor & Killer, pretty evenly, so my opinion is split, with that being said. My killer main friends absolutely hate the living crap out of MoM.
It's making them miserable, they don't want to play anymore, and they're playing less because of it.
I don't want a perk in the game that is having this affect on the killer mains of DBD.
Depends on who you main i guess. Most weaker M1 Killer mains are pissed cause there is no true counter for them. They are also the weaker ones so having a perk that affects the weaker more than the strong ones just makes no sense.
That being said, i think it'd be more reasonable to reduce the number of required protection hits to 2.
-
Still am, was busy working a lot of overtime, replaying Borderlands 2 and dealing with a lot of bureaucratic bullshit after getting arrested. I didn't have much time for DBD.
-
Well since the hatch and DS got changed there are even less reasons not to implement this change. BHVR pls do it.
