  • He has better hair, but now looks too "pretty" for lack of a better term.

I pray that when the remodels come out you can toggle between old and reworked faces, because I kinda like Old David more.

  • The closest to someone I look is maybe Felix, but even then that's a huge stretch and it's really only the blonde-hair part we have in common.

Personality wise, either Ace or Quentin.

  • Even though it's extremely loose, David is the closest thing survivor we got to a JoJo character.

  • Aside from Dead by Daylight, I'm a huge Nintendo fan (don't worry, I don't play DBD on switch) so that's where a lot of my interest lies. Some of my favorite games of all time are Super Smash Bros. Brawl (for introducing me to the series and bringing my Smash main Lucas) and Ultimate (It has Steve Minecraft), Xenoblade Chronicles, Breath of the Wild, Minecraft, Super Mario Galaxy (1 & 2), LoZ Twilight Princess, and Pokémon Black. Also love the Yakuza Series, Jet Set Radio, and Lovers Rivals of Aether.

The items in that case were all 'donated' to the pack by various Content Creators who had exclusive branded cosmetics in the game.

Since BHVR doesn't do that anymore, there wouldn't be anything to put in a hypothetical Charity Case 2: Electric Booglaoo.

I mean, just because the first had YouTuber cosmetics doesn't mean all of them need to. In fact, an idea I had was to give reskinned cosmetics and some charms in a nice little package completely unrelated to content creators. Here's a little mock up and the explanation why it took me a while to respond

    Charity Case idea.png

  • I'm happy they did a charity case one time, I hope they do it again

    image.png

It even came with a great shirt for Claudette I really like, and will use from now on.

  • Another autistic person here, this was a horrible move.

  • Things I said about Hillbilly apply here, he's a strong but fair challenge that doesn't feel overwhelming.

  • Likely cause my killer main is Doctor, but I like being able to observe more closely how Doctor plays against survivor while playing as survivor. Almost voted Huntress, but I feel her Hatchets can often hit when they don't look like they should leading to me being extremely angry downs.

  • Since you wanted a MoM build, Mither of Man (Mettle of Mither)

Alex's Toolbox with good sabo add-ons, Mettle of Man, Breakout, Tenacity or Unbreakable, No Mither.

  • Gotta respect a man who's been covered in electric bolts and moves and acts as if it's nothing, all the time.

  • My option wasn't here, I'd like Siren to come next if possible

    image.png

Kyoya Suda is just cool, man, and I think it'd be awesome to have a Clairvoyant character in the game.

EDIT: Just played Dead Space, Isaac is now my second most wanted

  • I got hit near the eye when I was playing Baseball and I accidentally stood too close to the batter and got hit with the baseball bat.

  • Not an impressive list, but I'll share mine from first to last

    • Ace: My second survivor main who I still love to death, starting playing him after I was done with my tedious survivor perk grind at the beginning so I had BP to spare on other stuff, like P3'ing him
    • Doctor: My second killer main, like Ace was just lucky to started being mained after the BP grind.
    • Dwight: My original Survivor main, even though I really don't play Dwight often, I feel I kinda needed to give him prestige due to our memories at the start of the game and his constant, constant, constant sacrifices he made (I let Dwight die a lot)
    • Claudette: Funny "haha" invisible meme. That's literally it, so I could do the P3 Stealth Claudette if I ever wanted to.
    • Bill: L4D is still one of the best zombie games ever made

On The List of people to P3

    • Wraith: Like Dwight in that he was my first killer main and I don't play him a lot, he's already P1
    • Leon: Dude, it's Leon Kennedy, what do you want me to say?
    • Adam and Ash: Mainly there so I can make a "The A-Team" swf someday... assuming we ever get a 4th survivor who's name starts with an "A"
  • Léry's Memorial Institute be like:

    image.png

  • My Trio of Ace Skins.png

This is my trio of Ace skins, from left to right we have Fuzzy Ace, Sweaty Ace, and Country Ace

Fuzzy Ace is my signature look I have on almost all the time

Sweaty Ace is the skin I typically use when I get tired of Fuzzy Ace

Country Ace is just there, I really don't use him but I still like him enough to show him off.

  • Of all of these, Hag is the worst. I'd rather play versus a spirit. Crouching is not fun and so is being camped 30 meters away.

Anyways, Billy has the good combination of being a strong challenge, while not being overwhelming.

  • Someone who just wears terrible mascot outfits, likely a teen going for easy jobs as a mascot

    image.png

Meet Max Mascot, this is a teen trying to make money. This is his default outfit, him in a hotdog outfit. This was his last job before being taken to the Entity's realm.

Default recolors of this outfit include Ketchup, Nothing on it, and idk Mayo.

Yellow Recolors include Ketchup and Mustard, making it a Chilidog, and Relish?

    image.png

This is his legendary outfit, which turns him into his brother Burger Boy. Burger Boy is a disappointment.

    image.png

This is his tome set, yes he's the first survivor with a set in the tome. Anyway, this details his life altering job working at a fruit place, as this was the first mascot outfit he ever wore.

    Edit:

  • I don't main Spirit, but I played her enough to justifiably say I hate her (as a survivor main, I always try looking at Killer's POV before making a decision, so I always play Killer and see what it's like on their end before making a decision).

You get downs for doing nothing, survivors only hope are coin-flipping, I got too many kills and wins for only being Level 7 (Just played a match with 2 red ranks, a purple rank. and a brown rank, with only tier 1 Spirit Fury and Brutal Strength and got a 4K). She is way too easy for her power, and not fun across the board. Even though I hate Hag more, Spirit is not far behind and is easily second. I wish we got her father instead.

  • I'm a big L4D Fan

    Bill, But as Gnome Chompski

Ace, but cosplaying as Nick (Left 4 Dead 2, similar to the outfits Dwight, Jake, Meg, and Claudette have)

  • I think I have a good idea to bring Legacy back in a way old Legacy players could enjoy. People often say the old Legacy players deserve their cosmetics because of their tedious grind, and this I'm not objecting too. If newer players want Legacy (2.0) they'd have to grind extremely hard for it like the other legacy players had to. Also, this Legacy won't go away and it's Purple (the direct opposite of Yellow on the color wheel)

(Extremely Rough Draft not able to be drawn, I hope you can visualize it based off my descriptions)

So below the rift icon on the survivor/survivor lobby is another tab like it (but with a different icon to tell it apart), this is the "Survivor/Killer Expertise" Tab that allows you to get 4 charms (3 of their perks and the final tier being a portrait of the character like the picture seen below) and the Legacy 2 Cosmetics.

    image.png

To earn the charms and pieces, you must progress the "Survivor/Killer Expertise" Tap by "leveling up" the character. Not the way of the bloodweb (although you do need to be prestiged to get Legacy 2.0) but by doing repetitive challenges.

(using Ace as my example as he's my main, the progress of past levels don't carry over))

Level 1 (Open-Handed Charm): Complete 25 trials, do repair work of a total of 50 gens, be chased for 1,200 seconds, escape 10 matches, unhook 20 survivors

Level 2 (Legacy Damask Shirt & Jacket): Be prestige 1, Complete 30 trials, do repair work of a total 60 gens, be chased for 1,440 seconds, escape 12 matches, unhook 24 survivors

Level 3 (Up The Ante Charm): Complete 35 trials, do repair work of a total of 70 gens, be chased for 1,680 seconds, escape 14 matches, unhook 28 survivors

Level 4 (Legacy Lucky Jeans): Be Prestige 2, Complete 40 trials, do repair work of a total of 80 gens, be chased for 1,920 seconds, escape 16 matches, unhook 32 survivors

Level 5 (Ace in the Hole Charm): tired of doing math, at this point it'd be Level 1 challenges but multiplied by 1.8

Level 6 (Legacy Ace Head): tired of doing math, at this point it'd be the Level 1 challenges but multiplied by 2, and you need to be prestige 3

Level 7 (The Character Portrait Charm): tired of doing math, at this point it'd be the Level 1 challenges but multiplied by 2.2

If you did it all, congrats. It only took you the absolute minimum of 280 trials on 1 character. Even if you didn't care about the self portrait and only wanted the Legacy 2.0 cosmetics up to the head, that'd still be at least 225 trials. The idea was to make it so people constantly wanting Legacy to be able to get something like it, at the cost of a horrendous grind, and to make it so Legacy isn't about how long you've been with the game but more about how long you've been with a character.

This is a thought I only recently came up with, so I'd like feedback even if all you do is tell me I suck.

  • None of these characters are really "cool." I only voted Trapper because of the spikes, he really has nothing else going for him.

  • Got 6,890. Saving up for Felix as I already got his blight outfit (I paid iri shards for it when the Halloween "event" got back lash and all the blight outfits were 9,000 shards. I figured since his skin was Auric Cell before, it'd become Auric Cell again so I just got it), Sweater, and likely his rift recolor, I feel kinda weird having all these options yet not even having him unlocked especially with how long I wanted a Blonde Male Survivor. Plus, I'm interested in his perks Desperate Measures and Built to Last

I'm pretty sure Chris and Claire are basically confirmed to be coming as skins for Jill and Leon at some point in the future. Just rumor though (but rumors around PTB time tend to be fairly accurate, and I believe this one).

Fair and should expected this reply. I meant I think it's unfair if they're not their own characters just because Jill and Leon got first, because while I would accept Legendary Skins (after all, my most wanted was Leon), they are as influential and huge horror icons as Jill and Leon I feel as if they are worthy of becoming their own survivors.

  • Yes, please!

And while at it, give Trapper a Naughty Bear legendary skin!

  • Where's the underwater level?
  • Ace Visconti

    • Open-Handed received buff
      • Aura readings now linger for 3/4/5 seconds
    • Up The Ante received number tweaking
      • Luck increases by 3/4/5 for each survivor

    Luck

    • Luck has received some new buffs in hopes of making it actually useful
      • Luck has a chance to make great and good skill checks give more bonus (i.e. if hit a great skill check, instead of 1% progress, it could be a 2% to 3% progress bonus)
      • Luck has a chance to not make you alert crows
      • Luck has a chance to temporarily remove your scratch marks and/or blood trails (only for like 5 seconds at most)
      • Luck gives you a more better chance to self-unhook than it previously did
      • Luck is more likely to get you a date with that special person you have a crush on

I probably over buffed Luck, but Idk.

  • Monstrous Shrine is the real life equivalent to eating Fudge Poptarts 7% faster.

It's too specific (why only Fudge? Why can't it be every Poptart?) and even if it was expanded it'd still be useless (why would I want to eat Poptarts 7% faster?)

  • I think everyone here needs to get in eventually, but I say Jim Hooper is one of the most influential characters in the poll not already in.

    To spoil Stranger Things

    Spoiler Spoiler Warning ▲▼

    He "died" in Season 3

He took care of Eleven seasons 2 through 3

He discovered the weird tunnels in season 2

He (and Joyce) went to the upside down to save Will

etc. etc., I haven't seen the show in a while

Plus, he's just a cool guy.

Joyce is my second choice, just because we got Jonathan Byers in so it'd be cool to have a Mother and Son in the same place in DBD.

  • I already got L4D, Stranger Things, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil, I honestly don't care what happens next because my dream licenses are already in.

I just picked FNaF because I both kinda want it in, and I know it'd make some people mad.

  • The Doctor

    • The Doctor's Hallucinations can now move and attack survivors (like Zombie's A.I.)

    Known Bugs

    • The Doctor's Hallucinations injure survivors
  • Leon's attire from the upcoming Netflix series "Resident Evil Infinite Darkness"

Bill when he was being honorably discharged

    suit

Some recolors of Ace's secondary outfit (the one unlocked from purchasing the chapter)

    suit

The time when Jake Park wasn't living in the woods and was at his home, with everything (and a nice suit)

Please just give me a suit

    Some base cosmetic Felix recolors

Dude, I'll like give you $2 if you can convince the DBD cosmetics team to make more fancy suit cosmetics. Come on, you know it's a great deal.

Bill but he looks like Santa.

  • The perk only activates when a teammate (presumably, you want alive) dies, and even then the effect isn't really even good enough to warrant the outlandish condition of team mates dying.

  • Use controller.

    Pick Legion

    Feral Frenzy

    Run Extremely slowly

I don't know why, but I think making killers and survivors run really slow is funny for some reason

It'll create less variety then there already is (you'll kill all the 2 Quentin mains)

Having to grind a survivor you don't like just for a better effect sounds terrible (I hate Feng, Meg, and Laurie, I don't want to play any of them. But Ace will undoubtedly have a terrible effect so I have a disadvantage if I want to play who I want to play)

It limits people's choices to the top survivors.

Here's a thought, what if Dwight Fairfield was absolutely terrible if this happened and to stand a chance competitively you have to buy DLC? Bet you don't like this idea at all, now. If you like it, I don't know how as it'd just be unfun in all angles.

  • Great ideas and concept, I loved everything about it.

If I had to make a complaint (and I mean forced to), I don't think Kate Denson is the best choices for the legendary skin. Kate Denson seems more like an Aerith to me, I think Meg's a better Tifa. Also, while at it might as well add Barret as an Adam Legendary.

I don't think Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Barret should all come free, just Cloud (Jake) and Tifa (Meg) so that FF Fans who only came for FF can still have outfits of the gate on the default and free survivors (and not an outfit on Kate they have no use for)

Sorry, I got side-tracked on the thing that really didn't matter. Great killer concept, would love it in game, 10/⭐️, would eat here again

  • Unfortunately I think it's a little too late to add them, as there are now

    Twenty-Seven

survivors, even if we don't give licensed survivors some that'd still be

    Seventeen

which is a dang shame cause I'd play Bill if this was his menu theme

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CGqSkckg_4

  • my-image (5).png

I Gave this almost zero thought so it might not be the best.

  • John (Doe) and Jane (Doe) because those are the legal placeholder names and I think that's cool. I do understand if someone think that's boring, but idk I just really like that extra meaning.

  • @Phasmamain said:

Blood debt is the stupidest challenge ever made

That as well is I hate a lot. I guess my mind is trying to suppress how stupid the challenge is, by making me forget it exist.

  • The ones where I have to play toxic I just hate. Mainly the escape through hatch and blind the killer challenges, if I had to name a few.

  • Nope, Leon is one of my 4 most wanted survivors (now that I have a person that weirdly smiles all the time [yes, I wanted that since the start of the game and was very happy when Ace was announced], Steve Harrington, a blonde survivor, and now Leon Scott Kennedy, I have every survivor I ever wanted and won't ask for anything relating to future survivors ever again) and I'm extremely happy he's here.

I will admit I'm not the biggest fan of Jill, but I know a lot of people love her and for that I'm happy she's here.

The Zombie A.I. opens up a lot of possibilities for the future I'm excited about. Mainly as a Doctor main, I hope the Doctor Hallucinations will go after survivors, but it opens up potential bot matches and DC bots which I'm excited about.

The new map looks awesome, admittedly bad to play but looks cool.

And Nemesis, I'm speechless but know I love him.

No Mither isn't much of a stealth perk. Iron Will completely outclasses the less noise aspect and Lucky Break does the same to blood trails - less time but better effect. No Mither's most prominent aspect is the infinite pickups - as made obvious on how all other self-pickup perks have far more limited conditions on when survivors are able to do it - and that function is immediately hamstringed by the perk announcing itself the second the killer loads into the game, so nobody with a brain is going to leave a No Mither user on the ground unless they're memeing.

"Start out healthy" isn't an unfair demand when it's the only way this perk isn't going to immediately shoot itself in the foot. If you want a stealth build, No Mither is not your cornerstone.

Your rework sounds like a decent perk, but it's removing the utility that half the players who do run No Mither use it for because you personally don't use it like that. Which... may be a result of that being useless on account of, again, the immediate injury destroying that part of the perk. (But it's a tossup on whether I see it in Resilience builds or whether I see it in Tenacity/Unbreakable builds... or when I see someone with it who's just yoloing and showing off just how confident they are about chases, but usually people who run NM do so with a plan.)

(And no, not being immediately injured doesn't break NM/Resilience builds, it just means you don't get Resilience straight off the bat.)

"No Mither isn't much of a stealth perk. Iron Will completely outclasses the less noise aspect and Lucky Break does the same to blood trails - less time but better effect."

Just because a perk gets outclassed, doesn't mean it shouldn't be classified. I say No Mither is prominently a Stealth Perk because 2 out of 4 of it's abilities (a.k.a. Half) are stealth related (no Blood, which in my opinion is better than Lucky Break as it lasts the entire trial, which is longer than 45 seconds; and the mediocre less grunting), while 1 of the effects is recovery and the other is being permanently broken. No Mither is 1/2 Stealth Based, 1/4 Recovery, and 1/4 Broken, because of it being half Stealth I consider it a Stealth perk.

"but it's removing the utility that half the players who do run No Mither use it for because you personally don't use it like that."

I don't see how adding 150% less grunting and 15% more action speed is removing the utility, was it an error on my post that didn't specify that this isn't what the perk is only going to do and that it still retains the effects of No Mither? (What I mean is that No Mither will still make you broken, allow you to not leave blood, and allow for infinite pickups, but also add 150% less grunts of pain and 15% action speed)

I'm a bit tired so I might not have the best words, but I just really don't want No Mither to lose it's effect of starting off healthy because then I think the perk wouldn't be special and I think there should at least be one perk in the game that has you start off injured (because it allows for creative builds). Honestly, I actually like No Mither where it is right now, I just suggested those changes as I thought it'd be the best solution to buff No Mither (to get people to stop asking for a buff every month) while keeping it's special attribute of being permanently injured.

  • I honestly always hated the "YoU sTaRt OfF hEaLtHy" idea because that just doesn't make it No Mither, No Mither is a stealth perk that has a huge downside. For people like me who sometimes use it with Resilience, how am I going to use Resilience at the start of the trial, because that's what it has going for it and it shouldn't be taken away. I'm sorry if I sounded angry, I just hate how often people spread this idea, and I just hate this idea for a rework.

My idea is to make it remove grunts of pain by 150% (so not even Stridor can detect it), and it allows actions not related to gens or exit gates (healing, sabotage, unhooking, vaulting, and chest searching) to be sped up by 15% (so it fits in more with King's perks of the guy in chase with Dead Hard, and it does Altruistic actions better for WGLF)

  • This is an idea I had and wanted to share but I had no idea when or where to share it, I guess now would be fine.

    Echo Survivors/killers

The basic premise is that while Legendary Sets still exist, they only exist to lesser characters (i.e. Cybil Bennet will still be a Legendary set), while for 500 Auric cells you purchase another character, here's extremely rough mockups to show what it could look like

Title Screen Mockup1.png Title Screen Mockup2.png

These echo characters (not finalized name, could be better) share the bloodwebs with their counterparts (i.e. my Steve is level 42, so the echo survivor Johnathan is level 42 with the same perks on my Steve).

The Reason for echo characters is to give customization to characters people want (we know the inevitable Chris and Claire are coming as Leon and Jill legendries, but with so many possible outfits it's extremely sad to me they are limited by 1 outfit. But now as echo survivors, Claire and Chris have multiple possible outfits choices to make Chris and Claire fans happy, while Behavior does not have to work to give Claire and Chris perks). That's kinda the main goal, make these beloved characters feel like they are actual DBD characters (and not just a set you can't customize) with Behavior not having to actually add another character.

Legendary sets can still happen to lesser character, Leon for example would have a HUNK Legendary set as HUNK isn't that important and doesn't have many outfit potential.

  • I do want another chapter as Resident Evil is a huge series and it has more than enough material to get 2 chapters. I just want it to be a long time gap before the 2nd chapter happens though, like maybe around a 2 year gap? Idk, just RE is poggers, this upcoming chapter is poggers and I'm very happy about it, but HUNK needs to get in eventually leaving out Chris and Claire just because Jill and Leon got in first is a little unfair considering they are also horror icons nearly as memorable as Jill and Leon.

  • I'm gonna make a crazy prediction right now, Leon's appearance in Netflix's Resident Evil Infinite Darkness is gonna be one of, if not the first, outfit Leon gets in game.

    image.png

I'm saying this because of what's happening with Netflix

    Spoiler Spoiler Warning ▲▼

New outfit and set are coming to Nancy and Steve, Nancy getting a new outfit and Steve brings Jonathan in as a legendary. We know Steve and Nancy are properties of Netflix. DBD is contacting Netflix and Capcom, Capcom might want to promote their new Netflix series, the guys at Netflix are cool with DBD (as confirmed some people at Netflix are fans of the game and they even gave DBD the Demogorgon model, when the RE chapter releases Infinite Darkness comes out 23 Days later. This is just all good timing.

I'm betting 3 games I have to play without Spine Chill that Infinite Darkness is either the 1st or 2nd outfit Leon gets in the in game store.

As for Jill, I really don't have any predictions I'd call out there or wild, I think the S.T.A.R.S. outfit is practically guaranteed and I don't know much about Jill to say anything else.

  • Imagine this SWF combo

The survivors are carrying a Commodious Toolbox with a Wire Spool and Scraps (52 charges)

One Nea with 4 Streetwise's (100% item efficiency)

One Dwight with 4 Prove Thyself's (60% Repair Speed Bonus with just one survivor)

One Felix with 4 Built to Last's (constantly repairs items that last a while)

A Nancy on the offense to distract the killer with her 4 Fixateds, walking away.

I'm not a person who's good with math, but I'm pretty sure this'd be hell for the killer

  • My main concern about Ridley is his parent, Nintendo. Nintendo is known to be "exclusive" (for lack of a better term), if Ridley got in I can only imagine him being exclusive to the Nintendo Switch with crossplay needing to be turned off (you can't even play Minecraft with your Xbox and PS friends if you have a Mario skin equipped).

I'd be happy is Ridley got in, but I'd feel it'd be too much of a hassle to go through. The most I can see is a survivor, because Survivor's are essentially skins with 3 perks, and DBD could just do what happened with Bill when he wasn't on console (have the survivors perks be in the general bloodweb), specifically I mean someone from Fatal Frame I could see working.

1 … 9 10 11 12 13 … 17
