Can you not take out the headset and play through your speakers? I know its hard and annoying, but wouldn't that be better than suffering ban after ban.

Yes, if you die you keep the add-ons, but if you escape you lose the add-ons, even though White Ward description suggests you should keep it in either case. I've tested this myself.
It should protect them either way. It's honestly stupid that the only way to protect them from loss if you escape is to use Ace In The Hole.
In fact it's stupid you lose them at all if you escape. If you have charges left on the item, you should keep your add-ons. It's not like killer add-ons where you can easily replenish them after each game. Killers have 20 add-ons. Survivors have 55, plus 18 items, for a total of 73 possible bloodweb objects. I could easily play every game of Spirit with Mother Daughter Ring and Yakuyoke Amulet if I were to dump BP back into Spirit after each game. It would be IMPOSSIBLE to play with an Emergency Medkit with Gel Dressing and Gauze Rolls every game, especially because you earn way less BP as survivor.

Wiki is outdated. Check the description in the game.
Will do so in future.

Usually you're not meant to wiggle out without help from your team, which even if they do it may not. This is intentional game design.

Every 3 months, or around that.
In June I'm expecting.

I'm the opposite. Legion doesn't need tons of help getting injures where they need help is getting downs with M1 at least in Red Ranks
You PC? Because on Xbox I'm having a fun time at Rank 1 with them.
-
Yes but actually no.
The Deathslingers spear goes at the same as The Huntresses fully charged hatchets. Good for aim practice. Problem is The Deathslinger has the element of suprise with his shots, with Huntress they are alerted as to when she is going for a shot.

so you don't think camping requires more counters? Reasonable I suppose.
To me the one reason it doesn't is because it harms the killer so much already IF it happens at high ranks. Usually they'll get 1 kill, and if the survivors are agressive more, but that's because the survivor forces it. If they force it without a plan, they get punished, but if they have a plan with BT, a commonly used perk, they get the save, more time, and possibly robbing the killer of even getting a kill.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
He has built in information though?? Besides, wouldn't players already be spreading out to counter Legion? Idk, just sounds redundant to me.
This.
Most Legions will run perks that help them find multiple survivors that are grouped, to have Frenzy have any effect. Yes he can snowball, but only against a poor team, especially that he has limited chasing capabilities.

You can make perks that counter legit strategies, whispers for hiding, SB for healing, DS for tunneling. Do you have any real feedback?
I just mentioned in my following comment that BT is the counter to camping, aswell as the others doing gens.
-
Mine is always changing, but like you, Spinechill wins it! Ds and Iron Will also make it into my load out with Balanced Landing being my current exhaustion perk (it changes every week or so).

Nothing you can do at all. Run straight through to have at least the chance if you reach the next tiles miles away. If youre already injured: get rekt.
I'm praying to god you haven't exaggerated over the past few days...

I get that. And just like any other strategy, this could be a counter. Like mad grit is a counter to body blocking survivors or sprint burst is a counter to killer lunges. I never said camping wasn't a strategy. :)
There Is a counter though, which is doing gens. The rest of the team does gens and escape. There's also borrowed time and decisive strike, which are direct counters if you want to go for the save.
-
For the last time people! Camping is a legitimate strategy!
-
Do moris need a nerf? Yes, not much people will argue with you there, but we need to remember, needing it to second phase means it basically only gets cosmetic value.
The second one I've always been fond of. You play well? You get a huge boost. It encourages players not to tunnel which I don't think anyone can complain about.
-
I agree with number 3, however number 2 and 1 I'm highly against. The killer won against you, so because you lost, you still get to win?

Also, his shred isnt amazing. If you know what to do you can dodge it.
Lmao no, Shred is so fast is basically undodgeable, the only thing you can do is predict when demo is going to use it and TRY to fake it so he misses, but once you are in the range of his massive lunge you are literally #########.
I agree with the fact that he makes to much sound tho, but I somewhat agree with it, it serves a great thematic purpose and make him really fun.
Depends. If you're stuck in a straight line with nowhere to dodge he's amazing, but on a jungle gym, in the shack, or even in the open, a good survivor can dodge it with relative ease.
-
Have you tried turning up your brightness on the TV? For me the only map I struggle seeing in is the game.
-
The main reason is because every single action he does is reported to survivors.
You hear a screech? You know hes in a chase. You hear the portal noise? You know he could be near you/left you.
Also, his shred isnt amazing. If you know what to do you can dodge it.
-
I've always played for fun on both sides. I continue with it.
-
There is simply no argument.
A killer that ticks all the boxes, but takes no skill whatsoever.
He can spam portals, his terror radius doesn't tell you if it's safe or not to work on the gen (unless you're using spine chill) and he can teleport from one side of the map to the other in four seconds, not to mention that about 75% of them that I face use a forever Freddy build.
I really hate this killer with a passion, I refuse to play as him just because how much I hate to play against him.
-
@sulaiman said:
Am i the only one that thinks this idea is horrible?
Yes, it would eliminate all those things, but also any saves. You would either be on a gen or in a chase, because on the hook you die, and there is no need to rescue someone.
Thats basicly half the game taken away.
And what does the killer get to compensate that pressure he can´t build up because everyone not in a chase can simply keep to his gen?
Has to be said that's a good counter argument.

This has been reported before and the devs are on it.
@MandyTalk Can you close this please, thanks in advance!

I can imagine some reasons, like often not needing more seconds than that, cheaper, more common on the Bloodweb...
When making these, I at first thought of excluding simply weaker versions, but in these polls, I want to allow ANY reason for an Add-on to be someone's favorite, so if someone likes Battery more than Long Life Battery because it's cheaper or whatever, I can't really exclude the option.
That would make sense.

So, just had a weird killer game that kinda dragged on after a suicide. I thought the one player wanted to farm, for giggles.
Long story short, another player DCd and it just turned into a take the hatch game.
Then I get PMd about being reported with vids for teaming.
What's the review process for that? Am I gonna catch a banhammer for memeing at some randos in a bad game, lol?
No, or atleast not what I know off.
If you only started teaming after the dc then I think the team that deal with the reports won't see it as teaming but as an act of kindness and like you said, for the fun because you didn't want to be a douche.

Honestly I don't play too many different killers. I probably am not thoroughly knowledged with killer perks like I am with survivor perks(I play a lot of different survivors).
That would make sense. I main most killers, and although I'm also rank 1 as survivor, I don't like to adventure outside of my current perks unless I'm dying alot.

Killer Perks
- Monstrous Shrine
- Cruel Limits
- Furtive Chase
- Insidious
- Mindbreaker
Survivor Perks
- Deja Vu
- This Is Not Happening
- Vigil
- Premonition
- Up the Ante (And most of Ace's perks)
Killer was surprisingly harder. Bonus Perk: Camaraderie
Really? For me survivor was a harder one.

I had a better situation. I picked Legion and 4 identical Claudettes were kinda salty i beat them. To be fair it was on the Game map tho.
I'd be salty too if it was a Legion on the best map for him
-
Infectious with Monitor as long as you're not Huntress.
-
You really have to question the three people who decided it would be better to use a normal battery over a long life battery...
-
Killer perks
- Monstrous
- Mindbreaker
- Cruel Limits
- Beast of Prey
- Furtive Chase
Survivor Perks
- Up the ante
- Slippery Meat
- Boil Over
- Second Wind
- Vigil
-
At first I was expecting bait, but this sounds pretty good.
Obviously alot more would have to go into it, like do they spawn back injured or uninjured?
Alot of perks would have to be reworked, and the basement would become pointless (for killer) but they were the only negatives I found.
-
I think rather than both a health state and a speed boost, it should give one or the other. I can't count how many times on my fingers this perk has saved someone else or myself in a situation that looked grim.
-
When a survivor gets salty and calling you rubbish, but they get 0 gens done.
I wasn't even using Freddy, and they were all rank 1...
-
I'm having something completely different. I'm being blinded but I can't see anyone trying to blind me, this is probably because your FOV degrees isn't as wide as the angle you can be blinded from, but it could be a change?

Legitimate strategy my ass. If thats a strategy than running infinites as a survivor is a strategy
Who said it wasn't? Any single tactic in a game that isn't bannable is a strategy. Even if you want to suicide on hook, that's a strategy.

One gen was done. It was literally the beginning of the match. I'm the unlucky soul that was the first found and became a victim of a "legitimate strategy."
This isn't a rank reset specific thing either. Even at rank 1 I was running into these same experiences. At this point rank should be removed because you'll end up de-ranking just because a killer decides to camp you. Rank means nothing anymore because of this.
Guess your getting really unlucky with your games then? I rarely experience this at rank 1.

Doesn't happen at high ranks?
Just last night I had a clown chase me for 3 minutes, facecamp me when he got me on hook, I was unhooked during second phase after two teammates were able to distract him, he tunnels me straight off hook, I use DS, and he continues to tunnel me and then kill me. He continues to then facecamp Bill next. I was rank 4 (from rank 1) after the rank reset but hit rank 5 after that match as I wasn't able to do anything but be tunneled and camped.
Often after rank reset killers do that. Also were you winning by a big margin?

Lie again. With the broken ass match making we've been in matches with high ranks and they face camped the ######### out of us. Plus people on streaming platforms(ya know, high ranks) get face camped like hell.
I will admit, with the matchmaking being in a bad state, often you'll be matched up with lower ranked killers, however, if you're matched up in an ideal game with everyone being your rank, you won't see face camping.
More often than not I don't see camping against red rank killers unless its end game.
-
Infinites being removed is a great thing, the biggest problem in the game for me besides Freddy.
As for getting rid of bloodlust, the devs have stated once they're happy with all maps they'll remove it.
-
The devs have said that camping is a legitimate strategy.
It also doesn't happen at high ranks.
-
-
I'd say the best thing to do is post it in custom creations on the forums, see what people think of it.

It says "Burning this offering grants you protection against the loss of your item and add-ons." so the description isn't clear.
Burning this Offering grants you protection against the loss of your item and its add ons in the event you die.
-
Its frustrating, and not every killer brings moris and play for a win over fun, but some do.
What I do is just take it on the cheek and then move on.
-
Killers get as much points as the survivors give them I guess.
I hate games with campers but the best you can do is take them on the cheek and move on.
-
As you said yourself boss, having that 6 extra seconds is nice, more saves is always good.
-
Do you mean BBQ and Chili? One of the most balanced perks in the game because you have to hook survivors for it to be even usable?
The closest we have for survivors if We're gonna live forever, which still grants bonus bp.
If you actually meant Judith's, it takes a long time to charge up, and rarely do I die to one.
-
You're joking right?
