They're actually the two best items at the moment, not sure why you think otherwise...
-
Its risking yourself, but you're rewarded instantly by saving your team mate.
To me it doesn't need a buff, especially that it's a very good perk if the user is good at looping.
-
I don't like killing people who Play Jeff or Steve, and most of them who I face are actually really nice!
-
To me it has to be Freddy. I just don't find it interesting in the chase at all while using his power, and to me he requires very little effort.

You not supposed to win every game just because you killer and played with best assets.
I'm more than aware of that, and I don't mind losing (although I do like winning). I like having challenges because it makes me a better player.

So killers purposely have to run bad builds for rank 1 to be challengful.
Depends. In my normal Legion build I sometimes have to play my best. Sometimes I do play my best and still don't win with my favourite build.

Thats the case maybe?
"I only allowed my self to use common or uncommon add ons"
The common and uncommon add ons definitely had an effect on it. If I had gone up a rarity I would have used The Legion Pin and the Nasty blade, with a build focused around slowing down the game, but because I didn't I decided to go with a different build which I wasn't used to.

1. Wraith, I hear Billy's too much.
2. No matter how much you look at Michael he will be fine, but if you look at Ghostface for a moment, he will be revealed.
3. Clown, according to his lore he's very athletic.
4. Pig, Amanda would only trap people who are suicidal (if she listened to John).
5. Nurse UwU
6. Deathslinger because Trapper doesn't have experience with making or repairing alot of things.
7. Doc, who even said Freddy?
8. Huntress, atleast I could learn Russian.
9. Honestly it didn't make a difference to me, chose Frank anyways.
10. I don't want to be on the menu...
11. Susie, because apparently she's 16.
-
I'd say make it 4/5/6, don't want it to be too strong with Dying Light.

and how many times you faced that decent team? Thats the issue for me.
The thing is, that's not something I can track. I can definitely say that I did face alot of good teams, in which I had to up my game.

I am from Latin America, I have 100mb of speed and the game runs well for me.
Hmm, although I'm not experiencing it, I'm aware many others have.
-
Just out of curiosity, what's your ping like?
-
I don't mind it personally. Encourages me not to tunnel the player, and it means they're playing with fire if I find them. It also wastes a perk slot, meaning that survivor only has three perks that help them rather than four.

How would you change it though? i mean i personally don't want to see it nerfed into the ground, i'd rather it be a cosmetic item in the mori aspect, with an additional bonus of perhaps starting the trial with all survivors injured etc. something that can be played around, but doesn't automatically give the killer such a huge advantage as removing two entire hook states. I mean atleast with devour hope its earned and can be taken away ie has counterplay, or with rancor where its a single* (Excluding ds, nemesis and furtive chase) mori at the end of the game where they've likely all ready been hooked a ton/acts as a cypress/doesn't give the killer an explicit benefit against the team and can be outplayed. i've had tons of teams body block for the rancor knowing they'd be killed, or the rancor survivor hiding out and escaping/devour hope teams where people realise i have it and cleanse it.
Mori's just need counterplay/balance. Least its not like the original one where you'd down them at the start of the game and immediately mori them!
I'd change it to that once you've hooked each survivor once you can start using a mori. Promotes players to not tunnel but rather target people who you haven't hooked, aswell as often you might have someone who has been hooked two times or even dead before you get a chance to use it.

Well since the relevancy can't be proven, wouldn't it be immoral to claim facts based around this? We can have opinions all we want but I would hate for someone to be mislead by a statement that wasn't well thought out, researched, or phrased. I feel there is a minimum amount of care that should be taken, and that by taking this care we can maintain a professional environment for debate and opinion. This care can be best described as "say what you mean". I'll admit I often slip, but after repairing my errors there is no one that is worse off because of it. Thank you for responding to my comments and taking part in this discussion! I respect your opinion, and I relent that it is well justified and a shared sentiment in the community.
It's probably for the best we don't state facts around something without evidence. I too wouldn't want to mislead someone by saying something (which I probably unintentionally have many times). Its better that some members in this community can actually talk about many positive things while giving constructive feedback and having good chats about our opinions like this, rather than having alot of posts that are off someone who is biased in some way. We all make mistakes sometimes, it's natural for us to do so. Usually I'll try and fix it, but even the occasional time I'll slip up and not recognise it until the damage is done. I'm glad you and I got to share our opinions on the matter. I too respect your opinions (not only on this thread but on many others that I see you on), I'm glad we have many member of the community like yourself who like to speak their mind while also respecting others.

How is the matchmaking issue not applicable to queue times is what I meant to say. Definitely my bad.
You see, there is no way to prove that is or isn't applicable to matchmaking. I don't know if it's bad matchmaking, or if it's that it's taking so long a certain side to join a game that it spreads its range in ranking for who can join the lobby.
The best way to prove it is survivor, which I might try, but as of now I don't think there is a way to prove its relevancy.

I already knew matchmaking was bad, that wasn't my question. Can you read my comment again?
"So tell me, how is matchmaking a noticeable issue except for when it comes to queue times?" Am I missing something to this because its 12:30 at night, or did you miss type something?

The main issue is that survivor itself isn't so much the power role anymore. The actual survivors base mechanics and perks and just changes to the game on both side have fixed a lot of their issues. The real power role is SWF because once they coorderinate to do anything you're just buggered. Because 4 people doing ANYTHING together...means a killer who can only hit one person at a time then has to wait to hit another is out attritioned even when all logic would dictate that these survivors lining up to get hit and standing in his face should be in the kill zone.
Good example is when all survivors team speak and gang up on a hook and crouch at it. Hook blocking a hook. Logic would dictate that standing in front of a killer like a tool and letting him slap you would leave you in a bad position but they know you can't do jack. Especially since a killer lacks the ability to push survivors out of the way, allowing for essential SWF body block armor. Body block armor meaning when via coordination and info they should no t have thanks to swf and comms they essentially become a bulwark of hits that you can't navigate around at all. Which is why they all heal in your face.
Another example is when every survivor also has an aura reveal perk of the killer like OOO and you're basically screwed since everyone now knows everything.
But swf will never be rectified or punished even though it goes against the very core concept of uncertanity and fear the game is built on. It was literally called "an anti-social multiplayer" once upon a time then they added a social feature. And it's the most broken thing in dbd and always has been.
I would agree with this, but the one reason I don't, and I rarely say a bad game came down to swf is because I'm a solo myself, and I've played with many, many great team mates. Many people say the solo experience is horrible, yet usually I get one-two good loopers and a good team in general.

I'm seeing claims but no facts or evidence. I guess I shouldn't have expected more from someone who just expects everyone to agree with them always. So tell me, how is matchmaking a noticeable issue except for when it comes to queue times?
And yet I'm someone who people always do agree with aslong as they remain unbiased.
Anyways, I've got two examples here from over the last week on both sides of me facing someone who I shouldn't have. Found the game in my average 10 seconds and got against this lobby:
Same thing happened today but on the other side. Playing survivor trying to get back to rank 1, as I was grinding bp before going to survivor, and came up against this:
I genuinely felt bad after this match...he never even tried to use his chainsaw.
-
There is a possibility you spam posted recently (or more likely just pressed the post button multiple times accidentally) so to make sure what you are saying isn't spam, it needs approval.
-
I'm also someone who plays killer and survivor (about 50/50) and personally this would ruin it. Does it need a nerf? Yes, but it doesn't need to be nerfed so much that it becomes a cosmetic item.
-
The wierd thing is me, an Xbox player, and my three room mates (Two PS4, One PC) are all yet to disconnect since Deidcated Servers came out.
The thing is you even said yourself why he disconnected. "one of are guys lagged out". This is due to his connection.
-
First of all, rank 1 player on both sides, Xbox too.
Over the last week, it takes me about 5 minutes to join a game as survivor, and about 10 seconds to join a game as a killer.
People do care because new killers are coming up against experienced survivors.
Survivors are the power role at the moment, but not by alot.
Also the reason why lobbies take long-ish is because not alot of people want to play killer anymore. It's too frustrating and hard for alot, and many switched to survivor.

Rank 1 Spirit on Ironworks
Ruthless Killer
Unfortunately I couldn't get to 5 Tokens, or I would've posted some Mori selfies xD.
I got to 4 Tokens but couldn't keep track on who was deathhook because I was just downing with her. Pretty much expected with Spirit tbh.
Nice, and thanks ^^

They're working fine for me. Played about 30 games with them on (about 10 on killer and 20 on survivor) and I had one problem when my wifi was poor and I had the same problems as you are mentioning with Oni.
Basically, this glitching is based on your wifi, because the only game it didn't work for me was when mine was poor.
-
Not that I know of no...I think they'd tell us if they did though. Why are you asking, may I ask?

If possible do totem Spirit (Ruin, Devour, Haunted and Thrill).
It's my favourite build ^^
-
Everything you've said here is wrong...flashlight saves have always been in the game, and my first chainsaw hits perfectly fine (I'm a Hillbilly main)
-
I get about a dodge every two or three days...rarely does someone dodge for me.
-
What I want it to make it so that if you use 25% or more of your charges, you lose your better add on, and if you use 75% or more of your charges you lose both.
-
By any chance did you clip it or screenshot it???
-
This is a bug that I've seen, although rarely can you take advantage of it. None other than the less, it should be fixed.
For a bit more insight for the devs, from what I know, how to do it is that you go up the tractor, take the left vault, and then chainsaw dash at the hay, you need to be precise and I don't know where you have to hit.

Why am I still seeing people complaining about the same ######### over and over again
Because alot of people hate it. If you gave everyone clearly contaminated water when you said you'd give them water, would you expect everyone to stay silent and drink it, or to complain.
-
Whenever I get that map, if I'm playing Trapper or Legion, I just 3 gen. Watch them helplessly try to finish a gen with me coming back every 10 seconds.
-
Many players go for jukes in chases by going in a locker or crouch walking.

Well i did Teachables before.
And doing 1 per day means this'll take well over 2 weeks, but i don't want to flood the poll section either, so 1 per day seems nice.
It also gives everyone a chance to see it (hopefully), cause timezones means some people are sleeping right now, or working, etc.
After this, i haven't really thought about it.
I also didn't think of doing these Add-on ones until well over a few months after i finished the Teachable ones.
I might go for Offerings next, but we'll see...
You could do maps in realms, and then bunch realms together that only have one map.
-
It's hard to argue that the Stitched bag isn't the best add on. Being able to carry more traps means less time spent wandering off into a corner or someplace where no generators are near.
-
This only happens the first few times when playing against that killer, once you've played against them about 10 times it won't appear.
-
I'm glad you're doing killers too ^^
What's after add ons though...
-
To me a great change would be this:
When a Survivor rescues another Survivor from a Hook that is at least 32 meters away from you, Make Your Choice triggers and applies the exposed status effect on the rescuer for 40/50/60 seconds
Make Your Choice has a cool-down of 40/50/60 seconds.
Downing the rescuer reduces the Cooldown by 10/20/30 seconds.
-
This was in the game but was removed due to an exploit that involved you running backwards/sideways so you weren't considered in a chase.

Aren’t you the one who got 3-4 kills in every game as legion for 50 games? And actually revealed legion is actually really good in the new meta, which I’ve been making a video series of proving that legion is a really good killer now
Yes, I did! But this guy said it was easy to get 4ks every game, which to me isn't true if you're facing a decent team.
Glad I inspired you ^^ (If I did at all). Have you got any uploaded? If so I'd like to see them, as I really enjoy watching Legion gameplay!
-
Wraith. You'll always want something to make you come out of cloaking faster, sometimes he is limited to 0 even as some players use the Bone or Coxcombed Clapper.
-
Can you possibly show a video and/or clip? This would make it much easier to solve the issue.
-
I like the idea that you get rewarded for playing well with a boost in endgame. The one problem emerges though. Is it worth it now? This will increase gen rushing and make it harder for killers to get tokens than it would be.
Great idea in concept, but I doubt it would play out on paper.
-
I'd be against it as it would ruin fun for both sides. Ds deactivated? Killers tunnel. NoeD deactivated? Survivors gen rush not doing totems.
