Infinite loops and bloodlust
Are infinite loops meant to be infinite or are they exploits? And what do you think of people who got annoyed when infinite loops are getting removed next patch.
they said since Infinite loops are getting nerfed then maybe they should remove bloodlu

Infinites being removed is a great thing, the biggest problem in the game for me besides Freddy.
As for getting rid of bloodlust, the devs have stated once they're happy with all maps they'll remove it.
Wow you mean survivors won't get punished for outplaying the killer? Nice!
There's a slight difference between outplaying a killer and utilizing pathing where a killer cannot catch a survivor regardless of skill or killer ability.
There is. Hopefully the devs know to only remove bloodlust if this sort of pathing is no longer in the game.
There are no infinites.
Bloodlust really doesn't need to be removed. I guess that's not fair since I didn't play PTB and experience these 'dead zones' that people claim are every where in the game. Maybe there will be a good reason to look into bloodlust. But one update at a time. Got to put out this patch, see how it feels, then you figure out if it needs to be changed.
That being said. I still don't think I'd call for a Bloodlust removal. I just don't see it being over powered. And the main use of it seems to be refusing to break a pallet and chasing a survivor around the same loop over and over again till it gains stacks. Which is a super huge waste of time as a killer. And it's probably beneficial to keep this in the game and continue to have killers waste time by circling a pallet. I think it could be argued that sometimes killers themselves extend chases using this feature and actually hurt themselves with it. I don't think this would be a massive nerf. But probably best to see the new fixes on the maps first.
Just in case you didn't know, the term "infinite" is used interchangeably with the statement that "a survivor can run a particular route through an obstacle that, if followed by a killer, will result in a chase exceeding the average chase time due to the breaks in chase and loss of LoS which will prevent bloodlust from assisting the killer in the chase."
But the killer should still be able to automatically win chases at half the pallets in the game given enough time right, regardless of survivor skill or ability?
I think most loops are either short or 50/50, there are no instant wins for killer except at unsafe loops or deadzones. Luckily they are adding more of those which I think is healthy. They are also removing problematic long loops often referred to as infinites.
Also be honest with yourself, there's almost nobody playing M1 killers at red ranks. It's either someone who hard counters looping, or someone with enough mobility they can just find another chase instantly. Or both. (Yay freddy!)
Anyone playing the M1 killers are probably using just spirit fury or nemesis + PWYF and becoming unloopable anyways.

Exactly, and that's why it will never proc in dead zones... oh wait! It already is.
There are a ton of dead zones where if you simply keep holding W, you get bloodlust tiers that you shouldn't have.
Actually the devs have said that Survivors aren't meant to be able to run from the killer indefinitely.
So yes.
If you're running through a deadzone just holding W the killer will catch you without bloodlust since they run faster anyway.
It's not indefinite, it's the killer getting massively outplayed at an unsafe pallet they refuse to kick. That's their own choice to make. Just like if a killer gets run for 5 gens....that is pure skill, map knowledge, and outplays on the part of the survivor. I'm sad the devs are going to cater to baby killers who want to automatically win because they saw a survivor. Not when you can be running someone like ghostface/wraith/etc and automatically be finding people.
Right now bloodlust is actually braindead, the only hope being that your team is rushing gens when you juke the killer over and over for a minute solid at the same pallet until he stacks up enough bloodlust to finally get a hit. If you are one of the last people alive? Well sorry, you just auto lose. What a scary game, but not for the reasons you might think.
@SpaceCoconut
I meant the killer holding W, not the survivor.
Imagine running around a loop where say ..a huntress can’t get you bloodlust is needed
Infinitites need to go for the sake of the killer community since only 2 killer's can deal with infinities really well. I'm a ######### survivor and I never depended on infinites. If a survivor had to depend on infinites than they are ######### survivor's. Why? Well BHVR never intended on looping to become a thing which technically means that looping is an exploit, and looping a infinite to me just means that you are trash.
I maybe looking at this wrong because I'm a Spirit main and I hardly ever bloodlust (If a killer BL they need to drop the chace), but if they remove Bloodlust than every loop is probably unsafe and the game would 100% be killer sided
If the survivor is running the same loop without leaving while they know the killer is building bloodlust who's getting outplayed? The survivor who won't leave the loop or the killer who's deliberately building bloodlust?
It's easy to call players names, but it's much more difficult to understand that sometimes a player is utilizing a particular tactic for a reason you might not understand.
Plus, "chase survivors for X seconds" dailies exist. You might not be outplaying the killer as much as you think you are.
Half the times, you will not make it to the next pallet without taking a hit. Or with someone like billy, just getting instadowned. There is no option to leave the pallet in many cases. Your only hope is to run while they are kicking it.
And if you are making the killer think you are going to jump the pallet, and then not doing it, and they keep falling for it over and over....that is pretty much the only outplaying that exists in DBD. Or faking a vault, maybe 360ing a saw etc, etc.
Runing pallet to pallets is less skill than skillchecks.
Nope but neither that you make a mistake and still u can drop a pallet without using second chance perk.
