Especially with a mori it's the best tactic. Super high IQ and skill involved.
And how often do killers use moris? I haven't faced an ebony since prior to the event (Have faced an ivory)

It's a scummy tactic.
It's the killer killing people...
-
On Oni I usually run BBQ, Hex: Ruin, Whispers and Infectious Fright.
-
Thanataphobia, Dying Light, Hex: Ruin and BBQ with anything to make them mend for longer works for me.

Nice one dude!

I'm a rubbish Leatherface, and really don't enjoy him.

I HATE deathslinger. At least huntress has a wind-up and you can react...
It's for playing as and not against.

Don't let anyone tell you how to play. If you're having fun, it's fine.

I think Mandy can help, don't expect it to be instant though...

To strong.
Should be that you walk at the speed Myers stalk people while a female survivor is in Los.

Why would you want me in dbd?

Finger lickin' good.

I agree with all of these except the last one. To me, even though we can close it when someone opens it, there have been times where I've three gen'd a team and they've used a key and my 3k (most likely from that point going forward) turns to a 1k.
Does this happen often? Nope, it's a rare occurrence if anything. Is it fair? Depends on who you ask.
-
Because for every 10 games I play, I have about 1 bad game. Does that bad game annoy the ######### out of me for a few minutes? Absolutely. But I use that anger to drive me forward and do play better.
Additionally, the game gets extremely boring if I'm constantly playing one side.

Thanks! I'm not a fan of ruin so what do you think of swapping it to pop or corrupt?
Swap both Ruin and Surveillance for I'd say BBQ & Chili and PGTW. Haven't experimented with them but they're generally good perks.
-
My current Pig Build (which recently has gotten me a lot of 3ks and 4ks) is M&A, Whispers, Ruin and Surveillance.

You mind giving examples to some of those "tricks", ones that don't only work against incompetent survivors?
Simple. Force them to go one direction. There are certain times where you'll want them to go one way, such as a lack of pallets being one way, or a generator that you want to patrol being a certain way so you ring your bell from the opposite side to force them to go where you want.

Why? His default bell is so bad lol
You can do some tricks with default bell.
I rarely use those add ons either.
I'd move Slinger to fine as is and Pig to Minor changes and Addon Changes.

Pyramid Head is not below average though. The caging mechanic still does a few things:
-It counts as a hook stage
-It takes one person out of the game
-It then takes a 2nd person out of the game because someone has to save them (and if there's no comms, more than 1 person may go for the save)
-You can't be flashlight blinded and drop the survivor
-You don't have to take time to carry them to a hook and worry about body blocking or hook sabos
-And if it's their death hook, you get a REALLY kick "mori" animation that takes little to no time at all and you can move on with the match.
He doesn't need a buff and I guess you could call this a nerf because it technically makes him a little weaker, but it's a necessary one because it was used in a scummy way to camp and get easy kills that couldn't be countered
I'll only agree to the second last one from this.
You're better off at this rate going for a hook, which takes someone out if the game, a hook also takes a second person out of the game but where the killer (usually) wants them. I usually check around the area for any survivor going for a save or look at a nearby wall / at an angle they wouldn't have time to get to. The animation, although cool and quick, has nothing to do with the cages.
Do I think the nerf was necessary because the game is meant to be fun? Yes. 100% Yes. But his power in the chase with a good reaction time should be easily avoidable, and in a few weeks or months when people notice how to tell which way he's looking, his anti loop will be practically useless.
That's how I see it though, and obviously strength of killers is subjective, but according to my stats that I collect, unless I forgot to add anything, I've only died to two out of twenty eight.
-
People are whining reasonably however.
What's the point of disabling your opponents perks that you can't capitalize on? You're basically sending them away for a free save that you can do nothing about.
I get both of the changes, they make sense because the game needs to be fun. The devs said it on I believe the Chains of Hate chapter Q&A. But nerfing a below average killer without giving a buff? That's really confusing.

No... I play on Ps4, and the tierlist is the same as it is on PC. Nurse is still the best killer on console.
This.
There aren't much of them, but my god some are amazing. I got into a good conversation with one recently, only lost one gen and got a ton of downs, and yet said he had alot of room to improve.
-
Personally, the nerfs were fair but not adding on something to the cage was harsh. He's not a strong killer (although tunneling shouldn't have been that easy). I think this is a step in the right direction, but he still needs something that makes his cages worth it other than disabling perks.
-
They should add something minor to his cages as a buff, but I'm fine with what they did as there was literally nothing the caged survivor could do. No perks could help them, and if the killer got there first they couldn't be even uncaged.
-
All four survivors die within two minutes netting everyone less than 100k bp combined even with the bonus bp? š
-
To be fair, we've had alot of time to get a ton, I've heard many have over 200. Additionally, they increased the event time for a week. I don't see any problem with this.

Actually it does, because if there's only 2 people left, camping IS a tactic, whether you like it or not. Just means now the cage is useless when it's 2v1. It would be reasonable if NO ONE could see the cage, or they compensated by removing the yellow gen from PH's perk, but, like op said, anything to please the survivor base.
Camping is horrible in a 2 v 1 situation, and really? Anything to please the survivor player base? They fixed Clown to make him arguably a good killer now, they reduced map sizes, removed most infinites and buffed all the perks on both sides for the recent chapter.

That's not all of the teachable's then.I still have a few survivor's left and three killer's left. I basically have all of the teachable's
What I meant by that is that I have to get the literal perks on them, not the teachables. Also good luck on getting yours!

Thanks for everything devs š

I have 603 hours
But some of it is just me being afk in the lobby + i mained survivor for a long time so I didnt get alot of bloodpoints
I should probably stop prestiging characters and actually start gettting teachables
I'd say only get the teachables you want. I don't know why I got the last few as most of them to me are perks I'll never use.

That is not too bad. Just bought last 5 DLCs and I'm going to unlock all killer teachables and start working on prestige Billy as well. It's going to take a while but event cakes helps with that a lot.
Goodluck with it.
I'm thinking about getting Ghostface to P3 50 (even though I never play him) which will probably take a while, but the cakes are helping.

Decided I'd add a bit on to tell you how much hours I have put into this game, about 680. That's how long it took me to get all the perks.

I have been having success with this build: BBQ for information and where to go after I hook someone. Corrupt to secure generators at the start. Pop synergises well with the all seeing generator add-on and helps me prevent gen rush. Sloppy butcher, so I can hit and run and slow the game down. What is your favourite wraith build?
Personally, I really like running BBQ & Chili, PGTW, STBFL and NoeD with any add ons that speeds up movement speed while cloaked.
-
Going to be honest, this is wrong and busted and will make the killer OP.
That's two minutes where the killer doesn't have to worry about committing to a chase, in which they don't have to worry about camping a hooked survivor because they know no gens will be done.
Camping would become meta with no counters because they can't do gens faster than the hooked survivor dies.

Thanks dud

I haven't...or atleast I don't believe I have.

Like you, almost devotion 3.
I've been playing prior to devotion being added though... so that may be inaccurate.
How much hours do you have? That might be a bit more accurate.
-
I've spent over 1 million bloodpoints (Over about four differing survivors) and I've gotten I'd say about 20-30 event items over all.

was there any proof it was a hacker? Tru3 said it was but that doesnt make it fact.
He was streaming, and after a match which he didn't dc from he received a ban for 72 hours (I think).
-
Exactly what you said in the last sentence. If the killer has no terror radius (If it be off being the killers power or a perk) Borrowed Time won't activate.
-
Exactly. That's not toxic. Nothing is toxic unless it's your intent. My point is from my experience, using my personal build, you receive alot of criticism.
-
@genosyo said:

why are you being so toxic? i'm just trying to have fun with the perks that the devs put in the game.
its natural for anyone to run the strongest perks they can, and in that case, i run the best perks on survior+killer AND i have fun. i dont understand ur problem
No let me explain.
I play Legion alot, and I receive ALOT of criticism for the build I use. I didn't mean that you are one for playing with certain perks, I don't think anyone is unless they play with the intent of being toxic, but many do consider this build toxic.
-
Question
Do you mind playing as a dick? Do you care what others think about you? Or do you play to win?
-
The second one I like...that's it.
