Instead of writing essay why it's good, here you go:
I don't trust anyone who steals another person's name and tries to be funny about it

I'm more concerned over how his hair keeps disappearing and changing every other patch
What the heck is it?

@BlueFang I think the only reason that they ever did put in a grunt is so that as a survivor, you can get audio confirmation that you stunned Myers without having to turn around.
I understand that but I just wish they would re-do the stun sound effect, keep him silent but have there be some kind of noise notification that it worked

Then why did you make this post?
"Look at me! I have nothing to add to this conversation!"
I get called a camper a lot too :-(
Most likely because I actively camp a lot :-)
Your playing Freddy, equip Make Your Choice and win. Why are you doing this to yourself and others? You are actually hurting yourself far more then you are the survivors
Why are you punching yourself?
-
This would actually be kind of interesting. It would buff certain killers and be indirectly nerfing others with the addition of additional survivor perks
For example Huntress has some of the worst perks in the game she could run Beast for extra BP or Lullaby I suppose. Though because of Lullaby's long set-up it'll go away long before you can get the max tokens for it
It would also make picking a survivor have merit aside from aesthetic value. I have a feeling there would be a ton more Megs, Davids, and Lauries because of this
-
Wiggling out is designed to force the killer to put you near the closest hook. A hook which may or may not favor him as much as the hook and certainly the basement beyond it
It's not meant to be a escape unless your team stops him or the killer misjudges the distance. You shouldn't be expecting or hoping you can wiggle out of the killer's grasp by yourself. Same with a killer that expects he can eat through all the pallets in the map before the generators go. The game is designed to prevent this

The Community: Ah, so we're fine. The Demo's power is nothing like Freddy's powers we should be fine and have a fun and unique killer with map mobility
Mathieu: Umm
The Community: What's that Mathieu?
Mathieu Cote: I made teleport killers
The Community: What?
Mathieu: I did what you told me to and made mobility characters
The Community: How bloody many?
Mathieu: I have done nothing but design teleport killers for an entire year

I'm saying that the conditions required for the regression effect is extremely situational and will likely only happen to make a meaningful difference to gen repairs a handful of times every few matches whereas PGTW works on every hook you make and takes 25% of the total gen progression.
For this new rumoured perk to be any good it has to be at least 25% of total gen regression or PFTW is better hands down. However some of you don't understand.
That's a little crazy, 25% regression to nearby gens just for downing a survivor is ridiculous
Now 10% regression I can get behind
-
@GrootDude said:
I wonder if the gen kicking perk stacks with PGTW.
I doubt it, that would be a little too strong, though it would be nice
Perhaps if they make it so that only the generator with the most progress receives the Weasel debuff and the rest recieve normal regression
-
The perks for both killer and survivors sound interesting
I like the idea of more unique slowdown perks and being able to have generators near you regressed when you hit/down a survivor could be a great counter to gen tapping

I don't play Doctor as I find him boring in chases but this sounds very entertaining.
Sometimes when I'm bored I play Doctor just to make the Gens more difficult and not actually try to kill anyone, maybe I'll try this out.
It's very evil but really fun. In truth you might want to replace Order with an increased shock field because the Doctor's base shock range is very weak
But oh yeah this thing is fun the survivors will be screaming constantly and they won't know why if they aren't observant

Bubba mains when LF gets movement speed and addon buffs

I bought the game in October 2018 and been playing ever since. I rarely if ever touch the top 3 killers and when I do it's only for a short duration and then I go back to the others with the exception of Hag and Clown
I never run Ruin, use moris, or hex perks aside from Haunted Grounds. The game is tough at times and if your in Haddonfield or other such maps your in for a bad time
Honestly I don't mind the difficulty in using characters such as Trapper against meta survivors. The toxicity is all that really bothers me
-
Make it so when he's revving his chainsaw he slows down to 100% survivor movement speed instead of 96%
-
If the cooldown was something like 30 seconds and if BBQ didn't have the BP bonus I would choose TT nearly everytime over BBQ
But TT has an absolutely insane cooldown of 60 seconds that just kills it for me I get that it can be powerful but the cooldown is just absurd

Can you please at least try to explain your dislike of this idea, rather than posting a clip of an old cartoon with possibly edited audio? Do you have anything constructive whatsoever that you could share?
The problem with your idea is it gives one survivor an insane advantage of being essentially "Invulnerable" from any damage or misplay to M1 killers. While the secondary feature is going to encourage hook rushing and sandbagging as people try and claim their Mettle stacks
While an interesting idea on paper it simply won't work in execution. Because giving someone a guaranteed third hit just because the killer did their job and hit them twice, is a bad, bad idea. It will also force killers to commit and tunnel the obsession to deny the mettle proc if they have had to hit obsession which is just a bad idea for all.
And then there's the aforementioned hook rushing and sandbagging from other survivors who want their mettle stack which will make solo queues even more of a nightmare. Mettle is just too broken a concept to begin with once you combine it with insta heals, BT, Adrenaline, Decisive Strike
It's just a complete mess
-
METTLE OF MAN
If you are the Obsession: After taking two hits from any source of damage, gain the Endurance status effect and keep going after suffering a hit that would put you in the Dying State. If you are grabbed while injured, immediately break out of the Killer’s grip instead. Your Obsession status is permanently locked to you for the trial, to prevent other Survivors from using this effect.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYU_eDMr4xEIf you are not the Obsession: Perform a total of 3 Safe Hook Rescues and/or Unsafe Heals (finish a heal in the terror radius) to gain the Endurance status effect and ignore one basic attack when hit.
This rework makes it so only one Survivor could use the original MoM while every other Survivor needs to actually work for it. It lets MoM be somewhat of a counter to some of the Killer’s obsession perks as well.
-
Can't wait to see all those new epic looping/fragging videos from survivor and killer youtubers that very, very, conveniently end the video before the rank(s) of the other team is revealed
Ask yourself this. When you were starting out, did you want to be smacked down by experienced players with hundreds if not thousands of hours to your 2?

I personally think it’ll be OP. Here’s my opinionated reasoning:
a. Most survivors will aim for the hex/great check for obvious reasons. Gen regression will help balance the perk still, but in a game where “gen rushing” is a well documented grievance, it would be hated as this will enhance it.
b. Almost every survivor would run this perk, probably with ‘This Is Not Happening’ to support it.
c. The 100% chance is too much. Yes, the survivor is punished for failure with the regression, but the killer gets no notification bonus at all. A new amateur player to DBD will still hit more greats than he/she misses with this set.
So, IMO, I don’t believe a buff is even necessary at all.
So your telling me 2 perk slots for nearly every survivor would be occupied by skill check perks, which do nothing for the survivor outside of gens. Which will leave them with only 2 slots for second chance perks one of which will undoubtly be Adrenaline since they've committed to gens so much?
It could be a problem in SWFs where people can optimize their loadouts and designate roles but then that will just make it easier to take down the designated gen rushers because they have half of what they are used to. That said the ones that just do gens and only do gens and end the games in 2 minutes (ala De-pip squad) you have no chance of catching anyway so it changes nothing
-
I don't know why but I have a feeling a perk we'll be getting will be body blocking themed

It doesn't have to make sense, since the Entity's realm is a collection of different world's evils and survivors. It's power is outside that of what we know.
The developers are just making it up as they go along
I mean this really just describes DBD in it's entirety
https://youtu.be/kJoyjlwzSVY?t=19The entity can do whatever the developers want it to do to justify the events in the lore it's like the Michael Bay Transformers movies
Billions of retcons
-
Hooks are still in the level and likely still serve as the only sacrifice mechanic
-
The grind is done, though it nearly killed me

And then we got a Halloween event sometime in October
it sounds like the next 2 months are going to be busy, busy, and then when all that is over. We got the Christmas events in December!

Why would I run such a build? To subject myself to a Hunting and Gathering lifestyle, maximum risk for minium reward. Where every day is filled with hunger and need for points, never true fulfillment. A life of misery, sadness, and Anger
Why do this when I Ace have the power of
https://youtu.be/if-2M3K1tqkWith stonks I control the chests, and he who controls the chests controls the trades. He who controls the Trades, controls the item circuits, and he who controls the circuits. Shall Control the economy and Blood-Web
The other survivors are the definition of failure. Living hard, monotonous lives and for what? They gain practically nothing in exchange for their efforts, what use is their Dead Hard when after the trial they have gained nothing? I'll tell ya what, it's a Dead End life.
Stonks forever, Ace perks forever. Perhaps one day you all shall see the light and join me until then only I control the market

Every killer could easily counter MoM, especially Trapper, Wraith, Doctor... Only Huntress, Billy and Nurse had hard times against that perk, but nerfing it for such a SMALL percentage in the roster it's pathetic.
I approve

I just hope the influx of new players doesn't get Demo nerfed on launch week like you know

No reset doesn't matter. We just shouldn't be toxic and ruin the experience when we see baby Nancys and Steves.
While I hate to say a large chunk of this playerbase is like a bunch of Piranhas if they smell weakness
Killer is weak? Prepare for 10 minutes of bming, looping, flashlight blinds at every pallet ontop of the pallet stun, prickishness until they finally get bored and finish the last generator, or the killer DCs
Survivor is weak and has no DS? Prepare to be tunneled, slugged repeatedly and then hooked
That's not everyone by a long shot and many people are nice. But there's still a large amount of people with no honor or empathy, and I have no doubt many of them have plans to de-pip so they can torment the incoming new players.

I know that its pretty early to say that, given we do not have a gameplay trailer yet. But unless the new killer has a power that can quickly end chases or help them deal with loops really effectivly I doubt they will be a good killer though we will have to wait and see. I fully expect for 2 bad, 1 amazing teachable perk from the new killer.
As for the survivors new perks? I can only assume that they will fit a niche role and thats about it. Though i expect we will see a lot of experimenting with the new perks, and someones going to find a great combination, most likely borderline OP.

@Mat_Sella said:
i thought you couldn't go back up beyond 15? that just seems cruel and unfair. I know for a fact that people do this too, just so they can clown on people that have no idea what they're doing. I regularly joke with my friends during rank reset and say things like " oh no, they're not gonna wanna play anymore!" when things are going a little too well.
I think at one point they added that restriction but they've clearly removed it
-
If I see one survivor or more are struggling I'll go easy on them and more often then not let them all go. As I know the pain of trying your best and just failing
That is as long as they don't try and taunt me. I'm generous and I want everyone to have fun but I will not tolerate BMing or hook farming. So they will die and learn from their mistake as they see the others get let go. Same with people that don't participate in the farming and just keep running away
