"When do survivors start doing gens and stuff?"
Well, my little youngling, this screenshot was taken when I was rank 1.
https://i.imgur.com/W8BYSj6.png
This was my first hook.
Those two were still crouched like that by the time I took the screenshot (that's why I took it). I'm clearly in stage two.
The other person was being chased by the Killer.
I died on that hook.
Good luck.

Corrupt all the way
Corrupt is consistent it will always block 3 generators and last for 2 minutes. Considering that's the amount of time it takes for 3 generators to pop that's an incredible amount of time
Ruin is RNG at it's worst it will either last all game or be destroyed in 10 seconds. Corrupt will always do more for you then Ruin
-
They have a longer stun then Omega Blink Nurse
And that's funny

the fact that you hate getting the swamp as a stealth killer confuses me... that's one of my favorites when playing wraith or piggy.
It's because of how weird and buggy Michael's stalk is. There's a lot of objects that can keep survivors from being stalked even though they are clearly visible. An issue that doesn't exist with Ghostface however because they fixed his stalk
Either way it's just annoying

But if we doesn't run Inner Strenght ? You just memed yourself.
Try hiding from a Doctor or Plague that had a 3 gen strat, BBQ, and Iron Maiden and get either the gate or hatch
Out played and Out Memed. No meme can stand against it
-
The same type of advantage with Pig if I had to say
It could be really good or weak at loops. He doesn't seem to have the full control Pig has in her dash so it could actually be pretty weak
-
I would name it The Monster
That is if it wasn't for
-
All you people using self-care with Botany knowledge
Just bring Pharmacy for pete's frigging sake! You'll get a green med-kit so you can heal yourself and others far faster then self-care and botany without the need to sacrifice two bloody slots and you'll search every chest faster
There's no reason to run Self care when pharmacy exists

I had this game this morning:
https://i.imgur.com/zcEtFfj.png
The bottom two survivors were duo.
That poor Clown. Exit gates were powered in just around 4 minutes.
That rank 4
Has Head on and Dead Hard. I'm not sure if he's actually a tactical genius or a complete fool
Perhaps he is both
-
That is true it could be really nice to use on him. I still wish it worked on basic attacks though

I understand the learning thing, but I wouldn’t really say it helps them learn. Because if their deciding to tunnel u the entire game while gens are getting done and u just keep running them around, being able to one shot someone at the end because they made a mistake or didn’t have enough time to make the vault etc doesn’t seem like a learning experience it just means they can swing.
Its not necessarily a matter of tunneling or what not many use NOED as a security blanket to ensure they can get at least one kill to get a few points by the end of a match
For example learning Nurse and Billy is actually quite difficult especially when it comes to hitting good survivors with the chainsaw. A player might equip NOED to keep themselves in the game when it inevitable goes to endgame. Sure some people use it to compensate for "Poor tunneling gameplay" but I highly doubt everyone that equips it is a tunneler and are likely just trying to compensate for the lost pressure and clunky gameplay they'll be experiencing trying to learn these new killers and their mechanics
Also I would like to say that tunneling and gen rusher are terms that have been so overused at this point to have lost almost any meaning they once had.
-
Ah I see. I mean it is to be expected there's a ton of really lame players that want to bully on either side
You'll see this in every game, but especially DBD as the developers have refused to fix the de-ranking exploits every side can use. Especially the exploit where SWFs can go to grey ranks if they queue with a low level account.
That stuff is just really dumb and it shouldn't be that difficult to fix I know I ran into a few of those guys when I first played the game in October but I never encountered too many and the ones I did just played along
-
A lot of people run NOED when trying to learn killers. It's a failsafe option when they've lost control of the game due to their inexperience with the killer or just a really stacked survivor team, Similar to why survivors run Decisive Strike
Of course others just run it because survivors hate facing against it, like that Franklin's Demise gamer who runs it even if there's no items in the lobby just to troll
I know I've done that myself
-
Heck don't even need Iron Maiden, just puke on lockers to see if anyone is in there and the infection from already infected survivors will give away their location.
Practically making QQ completely pointless. The whole broken status and pools mechanic makes Inner completely useless too. Ah, a proper reason to play Plague and ruin people's day when all they want was to just have fun
-

Meanwhile multiple instaheal SWF squads are running rampant in the yellow ranks gen rushing with voice coms. Multiple purple and red ranks paired with a single rank 15.
Oh well, trying be nice to new players with subpar killers and builds because I haven't played for two rank resets was a kind thought while it lasted. Back to sweaty killers and filtering out Cheat With Friends in the lobbies.
I require more information as to your current plight
-
I really hate how the developer streams are always so brief. They barely give us enough footage of the killer's abilities for us to make accurate judgements on it
It looked like it had an insanely huge hitbox though
-
Prepare to get MEMED on by my Infectious Fright, Iron Maiden, Stridor, BBQ/Distressing Doctor/Plague builds
It is a necessary meme, to return us to glory

being survivor is more and more difficult with every new change they do. They give killers perks/addons/habilities to kill survs easily or avoid survs to do gens. They give survs perks to do anything but their objective: do gens and open doors
That's because if all survivors do is just rush generators there's very little the killer can do to stop them. Only something as insanely stupid as Omega Blink Nurse can be stronger then that
If you make it easier to finish generators for weak and average survivors, you completely break high rank gameplay
-
Yeah! I was really hoping he would have some kind of unique crouch ability.

Definitely for me, it's the map then the perks and then the characters - I really love to have new maps or new variations as I feel it adds a lot more to the game.
By jove your right. More maps means less chances of seeing Corn, Swamp, and Haddonfield!
....
Oh who am I kidding I still get them 6 out of every 10 games. Stupid freaking obnoxious maps
-
@Peanits said:
I can see it being handy for solo players. Meg always sprints straight at the hook and (surpised pikachu) drags the killer right back before deciding to loop right next to the hook. At least this way the other people would have a little more time to make a save.
Don't forget the megs who will run straight to the killer shack pallet and camp there for 500 years until the killer arrives and drops it immediately
-
The Demo's perks are pretty cool but depending on how survivors adjust their gameplay to counter it
It might not be as useful as other slowdown perks. Especially since they confirmed Weasel, Overcharge, and Surveillance do not get proc'd by Surge
-
Marcus, Marcus, you lack insight. It is not enough to counter his perk with my power. No by including Iron Maiden I am essentially T-Posing over his entire build. This action dictates in no certain terms that his entire build means nothing to me and that I completely stomp on it and nothing he can do can beat the superiority of my memes
-
Prepare to get out freaking MEMED by my Infectious Fright, Iron Maiden, Stridor, BBQ/Distressing Doctor/Plague
My memes will mark a brilliant new beginning
-
It's basically a great buff compliment to borrowed-time and allowing survivors to counter face-camping just a little bit more. Which is actually what people have wanted for a long time
I actually really like this perk because now you can actually save survivors that would have otherwise died before you could get to them with this perk.
-
Yes, considering the survivor can just run to a pallet, throw it down, insta heal and then sprint off to the next loop is pretty terrible game design. Especially the ultra rare heals that can be used twice
Insta heals give no warning to the killer unlike moris and insta heals only punish killers that aren't running Moris or can instantly down such as the Hillbilly
-
Running Haunted Grounds on him is even better. Everyone loses their frigging minds especially if they get it before they know your Michael. They get jump scared super hard
-
@Locker_Monster said:
I had a meme match a few days ago; a 4-man SWF with everyone Adren, Head-On, DS, Dead Hard. And they all had Medkits with insta-heals.
I chased one player into a small area with 3 lockers kind of facing eachother/side-by-side at odd angles. He DH'd my attack. Suddenly; Head-On stun. Take 1 step Head-On stun! Take 1 step Head-On Stun!
Survivors wonder why Killers lobby dodge SWF; it's the 'lol' groups who make us; no one wants a match where they're basically someones new clip for a 'WE OWNZORZ TEH KILLERZ!' youtube vid. :P
Honestly I would have laughed super hard at this. Insta heals would have annoyed me greatly but I always enjoy running into meme build squads, as long as they aren't running Object that is

Look at the loop in the top right corner, That is like, the unsafest loop ever, you dont even have to mindgame it and it literally goes into a corner, so it wont matter if you even stun the killer
-
I wouldn't say that. With the exception of Ghostface every chapter has come with some great perks especially Plague who's Corrupt Intervention is to a Trap killer what Monitor is to Michael

Not sure, actually. I can't say I've had the chance to try those perks together myself.
You have not played "Adept Demogorgon"(TM) yet?
I hearby prounce you a "Fake Gamer" 😁
-
I also find it funny how no one in this thread has the self awareness to realize they are acting and talking like classic stereotypical "mains". Survivor and Killers alike none of you are any better right now
Y'all need to take a chill pill and realize the other side is umm, full of other players like yourselves I mean that is the population
They aren't a bunch of hateful and scheming Cobra agents trying to take over the game for themselves. Pretty funny to read though
-
@Marcus I'm sorry but you are DEAD wrong about Corrupt Intervention and Overcharge, Stridor, Thana, and play with your Food
Clearly you've never used Corrupt Intervention and realized how amazing it is on slow beginning killers such as Trapper. Heck, it's even awesome on high mobility characters. It lasts longer then Ruin and can deny an entire side of the map to every survivor
-
Oh yeah there's going to be so many Inner Strength survivors just nuking their team trying to get the heal buff by cleansing a lit totem that turned out to be Haunted

Considering the hooks in hawkins have been taken over by the Demo's realm
I'd wager the Mind Flayer and it's creatures are stronger. I highly doubt Netflix would allow DBD to have the entity be stronger then their monsters in the lore
-
Yeah I ate major crow when new Freddy came out so I won't comment on how strong/weak Demo will be
-

People won't want to take the time it takes to do a quarter of a generator to do an action that literally notifies the killer about where you are.
Especially since they won't be able to hear the killer TR and suffer from blindness. Unless the Demo can only put down two portals portals will be cleansed only at vital spots
Because the demo can just put em down again in like 2-4 seconds on command, repeated cleanses will add up, same reason self care is disliked

Yes because Surge will count as a kick. So, it would activate perks like Overcharge and Surveillance.
The real question is: Does it active Pop Goes The Weasel?
I highly doubt it will activate any of these perks. Maybe Overcharge or Surveillance if lucky
But Weasel is a definite no just saying it right now. It's going to be considered it's own unique action
-
While I am disappointed the demogorgon has no crouch power (He was shown crouching and moving at full speed in the trailer) he sounds pretty fun
His lunge might even help secure hits where you otherwise wouldn't. Either way he's right up my alley
-
Yeah honestly I really like the design of all of these perks
In particular the guaranteed heal ones upon rescuing/healing a survivor and the one that gets it for you on totem cleanse. They did a great job on all the perks, though the baby sitter one I'm a little unsure of
-

100% agree with this. Surge + Huntresses Lullaby + Ruin + Base explosion regression?????
Surge can only apply every 40 seconds, meaning a survivor has to run him straight into the path of a few generators. Any competent injured survivor will attempt to lure the killer away as far as they can if they feel they are going to be downed.
And I'm pretty sure the hex perks do not stack with surge. Either way we are talking about the commitment of 3 perks to slow the game down, one that's time and two that can be destroyed
Hardly broken
-
Wow the new survivor perks are awesome too
Mindbreaker for the killer just feels weak though not worth adding in my opinion
But I love Surge and maybe Cruel

Well, at 2:43 he also does a loud grunt.
SPOILER ALERT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED THE MOVIE!
I could barely hear it
Also it is pretty hilarious how it takes getting his hand blown off for him to emit any sound of pain in the movies
Whereas in game he groans like he stubbed all 10 of his toes everytime he gets pallet stunned

I think an exhausted debuff upon escaping a bear trap would be fine and actually quite needed considering how easy it is to escape from them
But the rest would be way, way, too much
